I reached out to Rey based on the Yelp reviews. He was responsive, communicative and helpful! Within less than 24 hours of me reaching out he found time to come by my parents house, assessed what they needed, and repaired their front storm door so that it would close flush. The job ended up being bigger than initially thought but he stayed and took the time to finish it properly. We will definitely work with Rey again based on this experience and recommend him!

Called about a plumbing issue and the owner made bizarre statements about tattoos and where they were on my biceps? Weird. Seemed incompetent.

This company is top notch. Our water heater was leaking and flooded our basement. I had plans that could not be canceled and it was late in the day. The owner himself came and took care of everything while we were gone and we came home to a cleaned up basement, hot water in our house and an install that was beyond exceptional! The owner went above and beyond to make sure we never have an incident like this again. We will never use anyone else for our plumbing needs!

Per a friend's recommendation and water in our basement we contacted Buzz Duzz for a sewer drainage clog on a Saturday. They were great. Slightly slower in getting to our house than I would have liked but clean, honest and quick! Thank you. We will be using them again.
Not sure about credit cards but we wrote them a check on the spot for payment.

Two men from Brian Anthony's came to diagnose a heat pump in my sister's condo, which I own. They came only a couple hours after we called, which was appreciated. They spent about ten minutes looking at the outside part of the unit. They did not look at the inside part of the unit. Over the phone, they told me that the system had a serious leak and was extremely low on freon (their term). I asked the guy where the leak was. He said he didn't know and to find the leak would entail a costly procedure involving dye. He said that, because my system used the old kind of freon/coolant, the whole thing had to be replaced, inside and out, at a cost of about $4,000. He said they had replacement units on hand and wanted me to give the go-ahead. Instead, I asked that he e-mail a written estimate. My sister told me later that they refused to take a credit card for the $79 diagnostic visit, and had taken cash instead. (She also said they would have taken a check,) I began to wonder if they were being honest with me. My sister arranged for a separate HVAC contractor to come the next day. She told him nothing about the previous diagnosis. The second contractor told me (again, over the phone) that: (a) the system's freon/coolant was fully charged; (b) there was no leak; and (c) the problem was that the starter/capacitor for the compressor had failed. He replaced that unit on the spot and the system is now running fine. I told him what I had been told by Brian Anthony's the day before. He was at a loss as to why they would have reported a leak or told me the unit was low of freon/coolant. I asked him if they had lied to me, and he said Yes, they had. I e-mailed Brian Anthony's a couple days later (in response to their e-mailed $4,000 quote for a whole new system) and told them about the other contractor. I told them that they had tried to rip me off by lying to me about what the problem was. That was over three days ago and they never replied to that message.

The service provider came and consulted on the problem I had. We set a time and date for the repair. On the day of the repair I called and messaged the provider, but there was no response. The provider did not show up nor return any calls/messages.

We The Plumbers is not licensed to work in Philadelphia. The owners name is Thomas Turner. They advertise themselves as plumbing and HVAC specialists yet they are neither. They are not properly licensed to do either type of work in the city of Philadelphia. They incorrectly installed a mini-split HVAC system in my home that did not work from the beginning. They had me purchase materials directly from the distributor because they did not have the money to pay for them. When I contacted them about the system not working they were nowhere to be found. They are being sued by other homeowners for faulty work and deceptive business practices and accepting payment for services not rendered. They flooded the basement of a homeowner. Please beware. I strongly advise to not to do business with this company.

I'm 80 years old and have lived in my house for more than fifty years. I've hired many handyman, plumbers, electricians and home improvement services, none of them come close to the services Blake provides. Blake has been in business for 2 years, and I've been his customer for 1 1/2 years. He has installed light switches, 4 outlets, ceiling fan, ring doorbell, ring security light, porch light, 3 faucets, under sink water filter system, repaired 3 ceiling fans, drywall, 2 windows, toilet, ceiling in kitchen, power washed garage floor, clean several windows outside and inside, cleaned by oven, and came immediately for 2 water leaks, and many more things too numerous to mention. He is a very compassionate and caring young man, never overcharging for his work or taking advantage of people financially.
I'm the first leaving a review for Blake! I know I won't be the last!

I scheduled an estimate with Statewide Sewer & Drain for a leaky pipe.
I thought Juan was professional and courteous so I scheduled with him for the next day based on his schedule. Juan texted to re-schedule until the next day due to a job running late. The next day came and after waiting 45 minutes, I texted to see if he was still coming or if we needed to once again re-schedule. He never answered the text or bothered to apologize later. Very unprofessional.

So after begging and pleading, which I didn't think we had to do for a service we pay for, we spoke with someone named Cortez Hamilton.
Cortez, scheduled for a plumbing company called Drainmen Plumbing Inc. on 11/17
The plumber was a very likeable guy, he did inspect things but couldn't do much because he was informed that we needed to make separate claims, a claim for the stack and to call Cortez back so that they could inform us on how we could make those claims.
Drainment Plumbing Inc. sent Cortez the report and a quote, but we as the owners of the property were never sent this report nor could we get details of what was found. Cortez refused to send us this report after we asked him to, he also mentioned that because there was the rotten wood in the bathroom that he would not send anyone else out until it was repaired.
I couldn't attend the call with Cortez because I was unavailable, I called and left a voicemail for him to reach me, and it's been more than a week with no response from him, which aligns with my experience communicating with American Water.
I've never seen a company literally never follow up to do their jobs before American Water Resource.
The same bathroom that we informed them about in January and did not have rotten wood at that time, but over the course of time due to American Water's negligence to respond to our issue, the problem worsened and water continued to leak since January. Structural damage that did not exist prior to the January incident and was a simple plumbing problem, now involves construction in 4 rooms and our basement because American Water Resource dropped the ball horrifically and sat on our opened case for months before still doing nothing. Hung up on constantly by representatives, lied to by managers and overall unhelpfulness, they don't want to hold themselves accountable.
No amount of talking fixes this issue, avoid them if you can.

The entire process with James & his guys was super easy. Called to get an estimate and they were out the next day. I was able to schedule the service with them easily. James came out for the estimate and he was helpful, friendly and efficient. He gave me a couple different options to choose from for price comparisons.
Service with Ronald the field manager was also a very easy process. He called when he was on his way to my house and was on time. He was friendly, efficient, explained what he was doing, why and the service guarantee. I think they may have left my house/kitchen cleaner than when he started.
I would recommend both of these gentlemen and Toomer & Son's and I would definitely use them again.

I believe a man named Sean worked at my family's house and stole a very precious family heirloom to us. Disgusting people.
