if you need a plumber , call eddie the master plumber! i called 4 plumbers including 5 star yelp guys .  most didn't even call me back. i called the plumbing boys and they picked up after 3 rings. they assesed the problem and sent master plumber eddie THE NEXT DAY! he came and did the work in record time. he explained everything and i'm good to go!  i don't know why they don't have any reviews yet but fortunately i found them and now i'm telling the world. don't waste your time and/or money with anyone else! also i had another issue with my gas lines and he came out the same day. on the weekend! 5 stars!!

I'm really glad we found Rey! My husband and I own a rental house while also working full-time jobs so when DIY repairs don't go as planned, as was the recent situation for a broken dishwasher, we need help. Fortunately, my husband got the dishwasher working again, though he found getting it back together correctly wasn't so easy. I searched for someone to do the job and found RM Handyman Services. Rey was extremely responsive, punctual, and got the repair done super quick! Knowing that we can turn to Rey, we can bypass doing the repairs ourselves, and go directly to him.

Couldn't ask for a better job....

Called about a plumbing issue and the owner made bizarre statements about tattoos and where they were on my biceps?  Weird. Seemed  incompetent.

Had a technician named Nick who was amazing and very knowledgeable about my heat pump issue.
I will absolutely call Filan & Conner in the future if needed.

We had Buzz Duzz replace our poorly designed low functioning central air with a dual split a/c system last summer. The crew was respectful, knowledgeable and showed up as promised...which seems to be a difficult thing to do for most Philly companies. Anyway, after that we had a bit of trouble and Buzz was super responsive every time. Today we woke up to no heat. Made a call to Buzz and we had a tech at the houe and the problem resolved within 2 hours! We love Buzz Duzz!!

The service provider came and consulted on the problem I had. We set a time and date for the repair. On the day of the repair I called and messaged the provider, but there was no response. The provider did not show up nor return any calls/messages.

If you need a plumber- stop searching and call Tom at We The Plumbers! Seriously. I wish I could give these guys a million stars. I can't say enough great things about Tom and his team! They are professional, on time and very helpful.

Tom was honest and respectful but also straightforward which I appreciated. We the Plumbers care about their clients- when you are trusting someone to fix something you know nothing about you want to make sure they have your best interest and that's exactly what Tom has for his clients.

I don't know anything about plumbing and Tom walked me through every little thing. Literally. Every. Little. Thing. (I ask a lot of questions) He was there via text, phone call and was truly trying to resolve my issue. His customer service is out of this world.

Problem I was having: water flooding basement when shower was used, toilet, dishwasher etc... he stopped by my home for 15 minutes and diagnosed the issue. I was 10 days in to being a first time home buyer. Serious nightmare. Tom moved mountains and I know he would do the same for all his clients.  

I am now almost 30 days in and no flooding in the basement and everything works!  

I don't know why your honestly still reading this review. If you need a plumber, call Tom!

I'm 80 years old and have lived in my house for more than fifty years. I've hired many handyman, plumbers, electricians and home improvement services, none of them come close to the services Blake provides. Blake has been in business for 2 years, and I've been his customer for 1 1/2 years. He has installed light switches, 4 outlets, ceiling fan, ring doorbell, ring security light, porch light, 3 faucets, under sink water filter system, repaired 3 ceiling fans, drywall, 2 windows, toilet, ceiling in kitchen, power washed garage floor, clean several windows outside and inside, cleaned by oven, and came immediately for 2 water leaks, and many more things too numerous to mention. He is a very compassionate and caring young man, never overcharging for his work or taking advantage of people financially.
I'm the first leaving a review for Blake!  I know I won't be the last!

I called Juan in the afternoon, he said he was on a job and told me to send him my address and he would give me a time he can make it. Never heard from the guy since... unreliable, don't waste your time.

Update 8/31/2022: Service was performed by Drain Doctors at 8 a.m. on 8/31. The owner confirmed that he received the claim at 4:58 p.m. When I was contacted by an employee at AWR, she was nearly screaming at me on the phone when I asked for clear guidance on what I should expect when opening a claim.

Overall, if you have time and patience to deal with AWR, it is a worthwhile service. When things work with them, it is good. When things aren't good with AWR, you will spend a considerable amount of time working the phone. Document everything and don't get off the phone until you have confirmation that a contractor has been contacted.

We've had four claims with American Water Resources within 2.5 years. The first claim took four days to address a clogged main sewer line. While I understand that it can take time to get a contractor out, they are unable to effectively communicate, with different people providing conflicting info throughout the ordeal.

The next two claims were handled quickly and without issue. I didn't give it  much thought afterward, until I had to file another claim due to the same, repeat issue (clogged sewer line with tree roots).

I opened a claim on 8/30 at 7:16 a.m. EST. I initiated a live chat with AWR at 1:16 p.m. EST to check on the status of the claim. The AWR rep told me to call the contractor. I called the contractor who quickly told me that they had not received the claim, that this often happens with AWR and to tell AWR that they are not a contracted contractor.

I reached back out to AWR via live chat and shared this info. I was told three very different things:

1) The claim was sent to the contractor.
2) They were waiting for the claim to process.
3) There was a backlog of claims and I had to wait.

I called AWR back and was told by the customer service representative that the claim had not been sent to contractor. While on the call with AWR, I added the contractor, Drain Doctors, to the conversation. The manager at Drain Doctors confirmed that nothing was received.

The AWR claims specialist told me that the live chat person is in a separate group and that they had no idea why I was told to call Drain Doctors at 1:16 p.m.

When things work well with AWR, they work well. Regretfully when things fail, you are left with little recourse. We will have to get a hotel for the evening since we are unable to run water in the house without the sewer backing up into the basement.

AWR's terms and conditions don't provide guarantees for turnaround time and explicitly state that they have no liabilities for their failure.

Here's the exact language from the contract:
27. What Liability Does AWR Have?
You agree that AWR, its parents, its successors, its affiliates,
its independent contractors, and its and their officers,
directors, employees, affiliates, agents and contractors shall
not be liable to You or any third party for: (1) any actual
losses or direct damages in excess of the lowest applicable
per occurrence protection limit set forth above; or (2) any
amount of any form of indirect, special, punitive, incidental or
consequential losses or damages, including those caused by
any fault, failure, delay or defect in providing services under
this Agreement. These limitations and waivers shall apply
to all claims and all theories of liabilty and shall survive the
cancellation of this Agreement.

The entire process with James & his guys was super easy.  Called to get an estimate and they were out the next day.  I was able to schedule the service with them easily.  James came out for the estimate and he was helpful, friendly and efficient. He gave me a couple different options to choose from for price comparisons.
Service with Ronald the field manager was also a very easy process.  He called when he was on his way to my house and was on time. He was friendly, efficient, explained what he was doing, why and the service guarantee.  I think they may have left my house/kitchen cleaner than when he started.  
I would recommend both of these gentlemen and Toomer & Son's and I would definitely use them again.

So this review covers Lowry Services in Delaware County. Make sure to read all the reviews on here because Lowry extends from Philadelphia all the way to Allentown and out as far as Lancaster.

I had a problem with an outlet on the wall where my TV/Cable Box was located. Knowing nothing about electricity or electricians, I just wanted to find someone close by that could do a good job. When I called on a Sunday night, I expected to leave a message, but a friendly, polite operator answered my call. She took my information, and arranged a call for Monday Morning.

First thing Monday morning, received a call from the service center in Delco, and by 9:00am, we greeted our electrician Ed and his trainee. I was impressed because Ed first greeted and was very friendly with my dog. He and his assistant introduced themselves, and that friendliness was appreciated.

Ed and his trainee took a look at my issue and were able to determine that the problem was with a bad light switch (which shared the same wall with the outlet and was causing an issue). After replacing the switch, the issue was gone. Now I was expecting the job to be between $300-500 (as I was told it may be an issue with my junction box by friends with experience).  But the price of $150 was happily accepted!

Now, if you're handy and know what you're doing, this may be an overcharge. But for someone with no experience in electrical issues, it's nice to know that Lowry's technician did a great job with minimal impact. My wife and I don't mind paying for good service, so now we know if there's an issue in the future, we can follow up with Lowry going forward.
