Oh my gosh! I ordered a storm door and Rey came to install only to find out I ordered the wrong size! He was so professional, on time and excellent communication. Amazing service and I will definitely be using him again for any handyman services which will be frequent bc I don't know how to even measure a door apparently LOL

Micheal and his team did a great job. They do plumbing and heating and they are great. They know what they are doing. Would even come back to explain how to adjust the pressure, etc.

I can't recommend Filan & Conner highly enough! We were in a dire situation, trying to make settlement on a tight schedule. F&C were so accommodating. Got us scheduled right away and were able to do repairs and inspection within 24hrs. Pricing was fair and they were very clear on what needed to be done and why. Tyler was great, he will be my first call whenever I have a plumbing or hvac problem.

After having a horrible after horrible experience with a long time plumber, our church called Buzz Duzz and they showed up less then 15 hours after we called (we called after hours)! They did a great job and gave us great input and further advice on things we could do ourselves. Basically- they were the Hero's of plumbing that we needed! Thanks Buzz Duzz!

Two men from Brian Anthony's came to diagnose a heat pump in my sister's condo, which I own. They came only a couple hours after we called, which was appreciated. They spent about ten minutes looking at the outside part of the unit. They did not look at the inside part of the unit. Over the phone, they told me that the system had a serious leak and was extremely low on freon (their term). I asked the guy where the leak was. He said he didn't know and to find the leak would entail a costly procedure involving dye. He said that, because my system used the old kind of freon/coolant, the whole thing had to be replaced, inside and out, at a cost of about $4,000. He said they had replacement units on hand and wanted me to give the go-ahead. Instead, I asked that he e-mail a written estimate. My sister told me later that they refused to take a credit card for the $79 diagnostic visit, and had taken cash instead. (She also said they would have taken a check,) I began to wonder if they were being honest with me. My sister arranged for a separate HVAC contractor to come the next day. She told him nothing about the previous diagnosis. The second contractor told me (again, over the phone) that: (a) the system's freon/coolant was fully charged; (b) there was no leak; and (c) the problem was that the starter/capacitor for the compressor had failed. He replaced that unit on the spot and the system is now running fine. I told him what I had been told by Brian Anthony's the day before. He was at a loss as to why they would have reported a leak or told me the unit was low of freon/coolant. I asked him if they had lied to me, and he said Yes, they had. I e-mailed Brian Anthony's a couple days later (in response to their e-mailed $4,000 quote for a whole new system) and told them about the other contractor. I told them that they had tried to rip me off by lying to me about what the problem was. That was over three days ago and they never replied to that message.

The service provider came and consulted on the problem I had. We set a time and date for the repair. On the day of the repair I called and messaged the provider, but there was no response. The provider did not show up nor return any calls/messages.

We The Plumbers is not licensed to work in Philadelphia. The owners name is Thomas Turner. They advertise themselves as plumbing and HVAC specialists yet they are neither. They are not properly licensed to do either type of work in the city of Philadelphia. They incorrectly installed a mini-split HVAC system in my home that did not work from the beginning. They had me purchase materials directly from the distributor because they did not have the money to pay for them. When I contacted them about the system not working they were nowhere to be found. They are being sued by other homeowners for faulty work and deceptive business practices and accepting payment for services not rendered. They flooded the basement of a homeowner. Please beware. I strongly advise to not to do business with this company.

This man does good work and he is very reasonable. That is first and foremost and should be said. HOWEVER, he is all over the place. His ever changing policies, his ridiculous rants on Facebook about customers who aren't satified (which he usually ends up deleting ), his constant patting himself on the back, the confusing and ever changing communication is enough to make you NOT want to like him on social media any more or use his services. His FB business page is like a users online diary, it is all over the place. Just stick to your job. Stop posting dumb stuff constantly and let your work speak for itself. You are destroying your reputation with this nonsense and your all over the place rules that seem to change daily. Chill.out. my dude. You are legit starting to look like something is extra sus.
This review is being given by someone who has had Blake do work in my home, recommended to others both personally and in the community, and also had Blake screw me over not following up when contacted for an emergency after initially speaking to him. So I have had it all.

I called Juan to check out an issue where the gutters were not dumping water out into the street like they were supposed to. He came by quickly and was able to diagnose the issue. He explained the situation and laid out his plan so I was aware of everything that was to be done. The work he did is excellent and the cost was very reasonable for all the work that was done. I am so glad I reached out to him to do the work and I will absolutely be calling him again if I need his services in the future.

I wrote an extensive review on 10/01/22 and someone named Elizabeth from AWR asked me to get in touch with her through direct messaging through Yelp.
There's a problem, though. AWR hasn't enabled Yelp messaging so though it appears that someone from AWR cares and is reaching out to help you, they're scamming you because they set it up so no one can reach them.
That about says it all, doesn't it?
From 9/27 to through today, 10/3, . . . 8 DAYS WITHOUT WATER and counting.
If you're one of the few, who can afford paying an exorbitant water bill, watching tons of water flood into the street so your plants don't die and you and your family can shower, brush your teeth, wash you face and use the toilet, then by all means use this company.
But many people are struggling and times are uncertain so that's a LOT of money. But you'll have no choice if you're insured with this company. If they can't locate a contractor in a city the size of TULSA, it's unlikely they can help you with your water problem even if you call them daily begging them for their help.
Why our utility company and the Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC) would recommend them is a mystery. Bet they'll change their minds when I bring their attention to these reviews.
I use Yelp for everything and have NEVER seen so many disgusted people (as of today over a 100 negative to 8 positive reviews). And if you read them, these reviews are SO BAD, AWR should be out of business by now.
And for everyone who takes the time to comment, there are probably thousands of others who are so frustrated they can't be bothered writing reviews; they just want to get their water turned on.
But I'm not done. I'll find some insurance commission who regulates companies like AWR and they can take care of this mess.

Thank you, YELP, for allowing us to give others a heads up. I would HATE to see other good people go down the drain with AWR.

So this review covers Lowry Services in Delaware County. Make sure to read all the reviews on here because Lowry extends from Philadelphia all the way to Allentown and out as far as Lancaster.
I had a problem with an outlet on the wall where my TV/Cable Box was located. Knowing nothing about electricity or electricians, I just wanted to find someone close by that could do a good job. When I called on a Sunday night, I expected to leave a message, but a friendly, polite operator answered my call. She took my information, and arranged a call for Monday Morning.
First thing Monday morning, received a call from the service center in Delco, and by 9:00am, we greeted our electrician Ed and his trainee. I was impressed because Ed first greeted and was very friendly with my dog. He and his assistant introduced themselves, and that friendliness was appreciated.
Ed and his trainee took a look at my issue and were able to determine that the problem was with a bad light switch (which shared the same wall with the outlet and was causing an issue). After replacing the switch, the issue was gone. Now I was expecting the job to be between $300-500 (as I was told it may be an issue with my junction box by friends with experience). But the price of $150 was happily accepted!
Now, if you're handy and know what you're doing, this may be an overcharge. But for someone with no experience in electrical issues, it's nice to know that Lowry's technician did a great job with minimal impact. My wife and I don't mind paying for good service, so now we know if there's an issue in the future, we can follow up with Lowry going forward.
