Rick Zeek, the master plumber here at Zeek Plumbing & Mechanical, is a licensed professional plumber who has been in business since 2004. He began his plumbing career at age 17 and received his plumbing license in 2000. Rick started R. Zeek Plumbing & Heating in 2004 and in March of 2018, Rick changed the business name to Zeek Plumbing & Mechanical. Rick is a highly trained technician who enjoys doing underground plumbing roughs and for 10 years focused primarily on commercial work. Rick now specializes in all aspects of plumbing for commercial, residential and industrial customers.

The front kept you updated when the guys would show. Then ( Tim & Brandon ) would show up and before they would come into the house, they covered their shoes. Big plus with my better half. They listened to my problems and gave me a few options. They were Awesome! It's been about a week and everything is perfect. Very reasonable for the amount of work provided.

Tim and Oliver were professional and prompt. They evaluated a leak near my water heater, diagnosed a leaking expansion tank, and suggested trying a new gasket to fix the leak at the end of my expansion tank. Since the new gasket approach didn't work out, Tim suggested a different brand expansion tank which replaced the leaking 2 year old tank. When he and Oliver installed the new tank they supported it with a metal rod so it wouldn't put weight on the pipe. In addition, after I mentioned water issues in my area (Denville), Tim inspected my water valves to ensure they had pressure relief valves in place. He even asked if I wanted him to increase my water pressure since it was low! Great customer service and overall pleasant experience.
I have been appreciative of Zeek's plumbing professionalism and knowledge. They have been very responsive to several plumbing needs, the latest being a toilet that was flooding. They took the time to understand the problem and fix the issue correctly. Bill, was in communication with others to make sure the job was done right. They are always on time and reasonably priced.
I wish I could give this company more stars than just 5. This company is so knowledgeable and accommodating with you whether it is a residential home or a commercial building. Zeek has been our number 1 plumber for everything for a few years now and we have zero regret!! As soon as we call and explain the issue, we are immediately taken care of. Whether it be trouble shooting over the phone or scheduled to have a person come out and look at the problem. This company gets the problem done the first time and I never had a problem too big for them to handle. Their work holds up and everything we had done was never too expensive (unlike other plumbers).

Just wanted to praise Zeek plumbing. They came to my house to do some work. Not only did they show up early but the work they did was more that $300 less than what I was quoted by another local plumbing company.

I finally found a plumbing company that is honest, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. They were on time, neat and Tim and Brett were a pleasure to deal with. Ryan always answers the phone; a live person!!! They were above and beyond, even fixing things that I was unaware were done improperly by a former plumber. Thanks Zeek. Sheryl
We used Zeek a few weeks ago for a clogged pipe. At that time we noticed a leak in our septic pipe in the basement. So we asked them to give us a price to replace the pipe. The price sound reasonable so we set it up for them to come back.
Tim, Rj and Rich where here 8:00am sharp and went right to work. We where only without toilets for a few hours. They did a amazing job and where finished by 3 pm.
All 3 guys are extremely professional and and very friendly. They work well together and all enjoy what they are doing!!
My wife and I would highly recommend them.

My first time using Zeek plumbing and was very impressed first of all that a live person actually answers your call and makes an appointment, very unusual in the plumbing world. They were on time, professional and neat, as well as reasonable. Highly recommend
If I could give 10 stars, I would! This plumber is awesome. Responsive, exceptional service and expertise, fair pricing, and respectful to customers, including seniors (they readily give senior discount).
I first called and contracted Zeek Plumbing toward end October 2020 for kitchen plumbing repair & install of a new water shut off valve to an outdoor water spigot. Steve got back to me right away after hearing all details of the job & gave me a fair quote, senior discount ( I am a single senior) & was given an appointment. The plumber who came to my home (Bill) was wonderful, did all the work in reasonable time, & all was good & we turned the new water valve to off for the winter. In May 2021, when I went to turn on the new water valve to the outdoor water spigot, unfortunately, the water just dripped through the spigot which was in the off position. I called Zeek & explained & Steve & Ryan sent someone out the next day to fit my part-time work schedule. The pipe /spigot needed to be replaced & Rich did the job- -no sawing open the access any bigger & additional charge due to warranties!! Who does that? Who's that honest and fair? The guys at Zeek!! Look no further than these guys. They have a customer for life!!
Found a pretty significant leak under my kitchen sink. I made a call to Zeek, 30 minutes later they were at my house and they fixed the issue in under an hour. From start to finish they were professional, courteous and very friendly. Really refreshing to know businesses still run this way! Will use them for any plumbing issues moving forward.
We had pipe break and no plumbers could be even be reached. Zeek plumbing saved us. They sent Tim over that night on the busiest night of the year (-2 de. Tim was so accommodating and helpful. Tim was a true professional and did an amazing job. He was friendly and worked quickly and efficiently. I will be calling them with all of my plumbing needs.
Second experience with Zeek Plumbing was just as good as the last. They are professional and provide same day service.

I had to take time out of a very busy day to sing my praises for Zeek Plumbing. I recently signed up on my Nextdoor neighborhood website to post an event and thats where I saw Zeek Plumbing's ad and they they un clog drains, which in the past I've found that I had to call the well known National Chain because my plumber didn't do that service.
The two technicians were so courteous and competent, making an adjustment to my bath tub drain to improve the water flow, was above and beyond, and is something that one rarely finds today. So, thank you ZEEK PLUMBING! Thanks for being AWESOME!
We had Zeek Plumbing to fix our sump pump about 6 months ago. When our pump stopped working in a freezing snowy time last night, we thought this would be a major job right before Christmas. When we called Zeek Plumbing, Steve, though unable to schedule us immediately gave us some ideas to check before trying any fixes. Well, sure enough, Steve's suggestion worked. The whole system started working again.
Steve always calls a couple days after a job to make sure everything working. We just want to thank Zeek's Plumbing for their conscientious and honest work ethic--and for the remote fix on our pump.

Tim came out within 20 minutes from calling for a flooded basement. Honest and fast. Highly recommended!!
We've used Zeek Plumbing in the past and their team has always been responsive, fair, and capable, but they exceeded all expectations with a recent issue that they were willing to escalate and accommodate us with on an emergent basis, in spite of a full schedule, all while providing a fair (and explained ahead of time) price and a great result to a tough issue. I can't recommend them enough.

They were quick to call me when I placed an online repair request. I sent a few text messages with pictures and a discription of repair I was requesting and then they ghosted me. Never heard from them again. I guess they were not interested in doing the repair. They could have contacted me either way. I am disappointed was hoping for more with all their positive reviews on yelp
I called Zeek Plumbing and Mechanical to inquire about an issue before I looked at their website to see if they did the work I was inquiring about. I called their phone late in the day, but did not leave a message. Less than 5 minutes later I received a call from Steve, asking about the missed call. I spoke to Steve, and asked him if his company offered the services i was looking for. Steve was patient and polite,and told me his company did not offer those services, but thanked me for inquiring. As a small business owner, i would recommend Zeek Plumbing and Mechanical based solely on the level of customer service, and professionalism demonstrated by Steve. Having now read his reviews, I can see the reason. Thank you Steve, and keep up the great work.

We did not have hot water in a house we bought. We had a plumber come at the time of closing and say it could be fixed. We bought the house, fast forward 4 months later and 2200. 00 to another plumber we still had water that was 91 degrees in december. I called Zeek based on reviews from other neighbors and they fixed my hot water problem in just a few short hours and when there was an accounting error they called me right away to fix that too. They should have been my first call and only will be my first call in the future! Thank you guys for giving me hot showers in the winter!!!

Zeek plumbing was great! I called in the morning about fixing my double vanity and Steve was able to fit me in that morning. Tim was personable, knowledgable and explained to me what was wrong with my sink and what was done to fix it. If I ever have another plumbing issue I know who I will be calling! Thanks so much!

These guys are terrific...I had a l leak in my upstairs bathroom that was flooding the coat closet below it. It went on for days and i had a number of big outfits in to take a look and got nowhere with any of them. One tried to convince me that I needed to swap out all my pipes at a cost of over 7k...have these guys no decency?..,.Finally got a recommendation to try Zeek plumbing Jason from Zeek came on time and got right to work .He cheerfully and accurately was able to quickly ascertain where my leak was coming from and then fix it completely in no time at all and at an extremely fair price. I can't say enough positive things about these guys .. thank you Zeek !!

Zeek Plumbing really helped our family out in a time crunch situation. We woke up one morning to no hot water. We are a family of 5 and in the middle of the summer, showers are a must! We called a couple places, including the big home improvement chains and another local place. Zeek's guys made a point to ask when I would be available to come out - they came the same day I called. Once there, they tested the hot water heater and explained to me what was wrong, and was able to answer my questions in regard to the internet research I had done while I had waited. They then quoted us on a great quality replacement with up to code fittings, which our old one did not have. We scheduled the replacement and they were in and out in no time. I cannot say enough about how professional and competitively priced they were. I am now waiting to get the green light from my husband to start a re-do on our bathroom, because I know FOR SURE I will be using ZEEK Plumbing soup to nuts!

We are so happy we ended up using Zeek Plumbing to run our new gas lines to our house and we are very pleased with how everything turned out. They worked with us on pricing, came exactly when they said they would, took exactly the amount of time they said they would and were extremely professional in our home. They even helped us afterwards with coming back and getting the gas working. We were nervous about picking a good and affordable plumber but were very happy with our decision and will definitely use them for everything we need in the future!
