What a lifesaver! Started googling plumbers that work on Sunday and this was the only company that truly seemed interested in helping me! I had a backed up main sewer line that was backing up water in both bathtubs, showers and both toilets so I was desperate to get someone out asap. Jimmy the owner answered the phone right away and told me he was out of town but would call his brother to see if he could come out and help me. He called me right back and said his brother would be here within 45 minutes! William arrived even earlier than promised and fixed the problem within 30 minutes. This family owned company won me over and I will recommend them highly to all my friends!!

He wasn't available today but asked what the issue was and as I explained it he walked me through how to diagnose and fix it, and I'm no handyman. I think it speaks volumes about the way he runs his business and I will absolutely give his company my paying business the next time needed.

Folks, let's us tell you about how great, family friendly, and helpful Genzel Plumbing was. The first time in May 2018 Genzel arrived as a third quote to fix a problem and solved it for us without a charge or the BS those other companies gave us. The second time we used them and only them was due to what we thought was just a backed up system. Genzel came out on time and professionally offering advice finding out that what we thought was small was actually a major problem for my family. Within a 24 hour turn around not only did he diagnose 3 collapsed pipes and root issues but had his crew out to fix it so we could use our plumbing. All along the way he updated us with pictures and explanations of the problem and even worked with us on the price. I have rarely ever received such great customer service from anyone and needless to say he was way beyond reasonable. If ever there is a problem at our house or other families we will recommend or use Genzel. Only 5 stars because I couldn't give more.

Tanner went above and beyond for us. We ran out of hot water and so I called him at 8pm for help. He came over within 30 minutes and fixed the problem quickly. He was very polite and kind and have us a very reasonable price for his work. Highly recommend!!!!

I was very impressed with Brian's work. After another company, Saving Grace Plumbing, failed me, I called Brian. He came the same day, found the exact leak spot, got access to it without making a lot of damage and did the replacements. His cost are very affordable, too. I highly recommend his company.

This company replied quickly but the person I spoke with was not pleasant on the phone and wanted me to send him all of the relevant info via text message for his convenience rather than writing it down for mine. This struck me as lazy and not very customer service oriented. The quote to replace washers in bathroom sinks was very high at $150 per sink. He quoted me an hour to be there and I told him I need to know that that was accurate since the renter at my sisters rental property which I manage could adjust her schedule. He then changed it to an hour and a half and asked me how far it was from his area (Denton) to the home (Little Elm) - again this struck me as lazy (Google it) and indicated that they do not even know their own service area very well.
About 30 minutes after sending him the info he requested my credit card info via text. I told him I wasn't sending that info via text and asked him to call me. The next message was that he could no longer do it because it is not my home - something I told him over the phone.
Final analysis: if you manage a rental property or are a remote owner of a rental property this is not the plumbing company for you. Also, if customer service is important to you you may want to consider another. When I hung up I debated whether or not I even wanted to send this person to the home of someone I respect.

You get what you paid for. Horizon's estimate was about $400 cheaper than competitors, but their service is less than professional. I had two water heaters replaced. They didn't know how to turn off the water to my house because the connection was different. I spent two hours asking neighbors how they turned off their water and had to come up with a solution for the plumbers. Then when they left, they left a huge mess of left over shipping parts in my garage. Immediately after the new water heater was installed, I turned on the hot water a sticky substance came out at first. When I asked what it was, they claimed it couldn't be the water heaters because they don't use glue. I was concerned a gasket or something was introduced to the line, and the response was well it's gone now. They did send a plumber out who claimed that it wasn't them since this has never happened. They could have told me that over the phone.
The good news is that the water heaters passed city inspection. We'll see how long they last.

Nick came and he is excellent to work with. He fixed the problem in 10 minutes. He would have liked to use a camera to see what the inside of the drain looked like, but he was sent out without the small camera that can go into a small pipe.
My only complaint is that when I booked the appointment they told me the minimum trip charge was $95 and that would be applied to the service. But Nick informed me the minimum charge was $200. They should have told me on the front end the minimum charge was $200.
Probably would have still hired them because of their reputation for quality work, but a 15-minute job charging for 2 hours seems a little over the top. That's why I knocked them from 5-star to 4-star.

He launched into a whole thing about the fact he is at another job and he will be late and wanted to push out the time scheduled a week in advance. I said no, not acceptable To move to another day. I have other contractors coming that need your things done and I need them done personally as well. He finally shows up 2.5 hours late. He was clearly irritated about this.
He also left for 20 minutes, to get something from his truck as I was on the phone with my fiancé the whole time and was opening the door to find him and he comes up the stairs with yet another fabricated story about being locked out. He had his phone and could text or call for the code to glass doors he so easily forgot
Had he showed up at our agreed scheduled time, he could have completed everything and our contract could have been satisfied that night. He brings out this unpackaged almond dimmer light switch and I say, what is this? He says, it matches your other outlets... umm NO it does not?! All bathroom covers outlets are white???
We exchanged words, I left him to just get the job done and had to have his mismatched switch installed to make sure the light works.

Beware of this outfit. They charged $500 to unclog a pipe. They left a mess, didn't unclog the pipe and banked the $. I asked them to come back and finish the work I paid them for. They said I would have to pay them again. They have seriously flawed ethical business practices.

I had a previous OK experience with Rick's Plumbing but last Saturday they sent over a Plumber that totally ripped us off. I was hooking up a bidet attachment with universal fittings. I had a small leak and am not good with teflon tape. Anyway this guy insisted that my connectors were wrong and he also replaced the flushing system inside the toilet. By the time he left he handed me a $300 invoice and also said that because I still had customer provided pieces that he couldn't guarantee that the toilet wouldn't leak. Mark arrived a few minutes early and after a quick chat got right to work. He kept us apprised of his findings as he ruled out possible problems. The problem was with a duel capacitor located in the outside unit. He demonstrated with an electrical device that our part was not working and promptly replaced the capacitor with one from his van. Service and parts were within range according to on-line sources; although the charge was closer to the high end. We now have cold air that was made possible by a prompt professional.
