Advanced Plumbing Services

We have been using Advanced Plumbing for several years. They are by far the best plumbing company out there. They are very fast to respond to emergencies. I am beyond happy with their work and always being on time. They are extremely professional and always clean up after their job is complete.  You can tell they take great pride in their work. We are selling our house and moving out of Texas and its going to be sad loosing our plumber of several years. I had several issues involving the master bathroom's plumping. Jon was extremely courteous and professional during the entire fix process. Advanced plumbing service has exceptional customer service and genuinely wants to fix any plumbing problem you may have. I would hire this company every single time.

I think I found my plumber. We just bought a house last year in flower mound and tried a couple of plumbers for different issues including a stopped up sewer.

John came highly recommended and we originally had him scheduled to come out to install bathtub fixtures. Then our drain stopped up and he came out immediately the next morning to fix the issue identifying what others had not that there was a hole in our pipe with a root growing through it.  

24 hours later John had his out here digging up the pipe.  They found some creative plumbing to say the least and identified 3 holes, making sure to fix everything the right way before closing everything up good as new.  All of this for a VERY reasonable price.

I highly recommend John and his team.

Great customer service from John. I really enjoyed his work ethic and most of all, how nice he is. He likes to stay in contact with you as for example, the day he was supposed to show up, the weather turned ugly. He notified me asking if we could reschedule because he didn't want to track mud and dirt into our house. Now that's someone who looks out for his clients. Communication key in any business. You won't be disappointed if you use them.

Very professional and kind people. We were having toilet drainage problems. They worked for 3 hours flushing out lines. Turned out it was a city issue . Appreciate their attempt and hard work.

John responded immediately when we had a leak and took care of the problem quickly and professionally.  He has been our plumber for a number of years and would recommend him to anyone.  He is our first and only choice whenever we have plumbing issues.

Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Advanced Plumbing.  Since my last experience with them in January, I booked them again.  Not long after completing the appointment booking process, they cancelled my appointment.  They said they were completely booked *and* my home was too far away.
I believe this was, at best, a case of them overbooking and looking to get out of it.  My home and their office haven't moved since January, so it isn't too far away.  And if they booked the appointment (via automated system - you get texts, etc.) then obviously they have the appointment available in the first place.
I would have preferred it be handled differently -- keep the appointment, but then inform me that it's too far for next time (if that's the case), or by keeping the appointment and taking steps to not overbook in the future.
The business owner does seem like a god guy and a well known plumber, but the running of the business is important, too, to keep customers happy.

We woke to the sound of water running under our house due to critters chewing through the plastic pipes.  The temporary solution was to shut off water to the house.  When I called Advanced Plumbing at 7:30am, John understood the problem and sensed the desperation in my voice.  In spite of rain and the temperature hovering just above freezing, John worked under my house for over an hour replacing damaged pipe.  He provided evidence of the damage and the repairs via pictures so I didn't have to crawl under the house to see it myself.  John and his team were courteous, professional, and fast.  I will call Advanced Plumbing immediately if we have any other plumbing issues and will recommend them to our neighbors.   Thank you, John!

WOW! - we just had a pipe under our house freeze and break. We have an old farmhouse in Roanoke that we are restoring, so everything is old! I called several plumbers, some were VERY ridiculously expensive, others didn't want to crawl under a house that had a leaked pipe. I happen to see this man's name and number in one of the neighborhood post...John at Advanced Plumbing...good review so I called.
First off HE answered the phone! Second he was VERY professional, polite, and concerned (asked me if I needed him immediately due to kids or health issues etc), and third he showed up EXACTLY when he said he would...the next morning! The worse overpriced plumber in town, their looking to scam you , stay away, made the job worse than it was. There is too many other plumbers in town. Unethical is a good motto for them. These good reviews musts be family members.

John installed a whole house water filtration system for us and we couldn't be more pleased with his dedication and hard work.    He took his time and when there were hiccups he never complained but did his job with a smile. In short, he is meticulous and expects nothing but perfection in his job. Lastly, he's very easy to talk to.  He's open and honest with the work to be performed.  We would highly recommend John!!

John is an excellent plumber. I have had him come to my house to fix a couple of plumbing issues. He got to the bottom of the problems quickly and fixed them efficiently with the right parts and his many years of experience. What a difference a master plumber makes! Most importantly, he stands behind his work. I will call him for any future work that I need. I highly recommend him to anyone with residential plumbing needs.

I have used Advanced Plumbing Service for years. The reason is simple, John is a good plumber but a better man. He listens to you and is honest. He fixes the problem and charges a fair price. He has done simple repairs and replaced my water heaters. The first question that I have been asked when I call for service is   is this an emergency.  Once it was and I was served the same day at no additional charge. Every time it was done expeditiously and correctly. That is all I ask and is why this company should be your choice for your plumbing needs.

Had a hot water heater installed, a water filter installed, and a couple of toilets repaired so that they would flush correctly. Service was prompt and John even cleaned up after he was finished. He also takes pictures along the way. Emailed an invoice and price quote. He also updated me prior to starting work. I've had other plumbing companies tell me it'd be $700 for the water filter alone. John threw the water filter instal for free. He is a master plumber originally from Connecticut, interesting life story.

John did a great job and his work was everything that I expected from the reviews. We had two outdoor spigots replaced, one of which was installed very poorly when the house was built. Not only did John replace the spigot and fix the bad previous install, but his masonry work to replace the bricks on our house that were removed while doing the job was excellent. He made a point to make sure that we looked over his work & were satisfied before he left. We will absolutely use Advanced Plumbing Services in the future.

We've used John at Advanced Plumbing Services twice now and we'd gladly call him again.  He's always honest and takes the time to show you the issue and what needs to be done to fix it correctly.  He's here when he says he will be and takes great pride in his work.  Water leaks can be such a stressful issue, but John was careful about his approach to finding the problem and fixing it with as little damage to the walls as possible.  I highly recommend!!!

They folks were very responsive and handled my challenging plumbing (and cracked sub floor) issue very quickly. Several other plumbers I called before these folks did not even return my calls.   Thanks John and Misty.

We are new to the area and we needed a plumber to fix our guest toilet. I choose these guys based on the glowing reviews I saw online, and the reviews are spot on. John and Sal were able to fix my issue the same day I called and arrived on-time and were super friendly. They were quick and thorough and explained every step in detail to me. I will definitely be calling these guys if I ever need plumbing work done in the future!

This company replied quickly but the person I spoke with was not pleasant on the phone and wanted me to send him all of the relevant info via text message for his convenience rather than writing it down for mine. This struck me as lazy and not very customer service oriented. The quote to replace washers in bathroom sinks was very high at $150 per sink. He quoted me an hour to be there and I told him I need to know that that was accurate since the renter at my sisters rental property which I manage could adjust her schedule. He then changed it to an hour and a half and asked me how far it was from his area (Denton) to the home (Little Elm) - again this struck me as lazy (Google it) and indicated that they do not even know their own service area very well.

About 30 minutes after sending him the info he requested my credit card info via text. I told him I wasn't sending that info via text and asked him to call me. The next message was that he could no longer do it because it is not my home - something I told him over the phone.

Final analysis: if you manage a rental property or are a remote owner of a rental property this is not the plumbing company for you. Also, if customer service is important to you you may want to consider another. When I hung up I debated whether or not I even wanted to send this person to the home of someone I respect.

John came to our home after hours due our kitchen sink backing up. He worked into the night refusing to leave until he resolved the issue which turned out to be more severe than either of us anticipated. He has an excellent work ethic, worked in an orderly manner and cleaned up after himself. I can't say enough good things about this man and his business. I will recommend him to all my friends.

We needed a plumber as soon as possible for selling our home and Advanced Plumbing Services came out right away. They answered their phone on Saturday afternoon and were here Monday morning. They repaired our leaking faucet and gave us our invoice to show our buyers immediately. We appreciate the prompt friendly service and the work you did for us. Thank you so much! We woke up to take a shower before work and found only dribbles of hot water coming through the pipe. We tried various tips from DIY websites but decided to just have a professional take a look. It turned out that our 15 year old water heater had several problems and would ultimately need to be replaced. Luckily, I called Advanced Plumbing. John arrived to my house in less than two hours, exactly at the time he said he would be there, and completed the job in less than two hours as well! John was both prompt, efficient, and friendly. We were offered quick and professional work for a very reasonable price. This is not the first plumber we have tried, but I believe he will the only plumber we call from now on. Thank you!

Own a house in the area and my college-aged daughter and room mates live there.  I live in DC.  My daughter called John to help determine the source of a leak.  He indicated that it stemmed from the toilet being backed up.  John fixed that issue but indicated that a pressure test was needed to determine if there was still a leak.  Over the phone I asked him if he could do the test while there and he said that it wasn't an emergency and would need to be rescheduled.  We scheduled the pressure test for 3 days later with him.  Once he left the job site he sent my daughter a text message telling her that he is cancelling the appointment and to find another company.  I'm not sure if something was lost in translation over the phone or if something happened after I hung up.  Although he responded quickly to the phone call and provided good service I am left confused as to why he cancelled the appointment.  Because of the unreliability and lack of dialog I am rating him lower than I would if he finished the job that he started.
