Incredibly nice, professional, and knowledgeable. This was the first electrician we had out for some odd-ball problems and he was able to explain the issues and troubleshooting steps in a very clear way without being condescending. Made sure to listen to understand what our goals were and made sure the job went well. 100% appreciated the work and the price beat the other quotes we could find in the area. I will definitely call back when the next issue pops up around the house down the line.

We contracted with Akenson Electric after a neighbor used them for a new electrical panel and the work they did looked excellent.  We had Bryan come out and put in a new 200 amp panel for us.  Bryan took care of the necessary permits with the city and with SDG&E.  The job went smooth and turned out great.  It is so nice having a panel that is recessed into the stucco like the original panels not just screwed to the outside.  I was looking at another house down the street and the electrical mast is crooked, the connectors on the box are wrong and the grounds are undersized.  I have to laugh every time I see it.  Do you really want to take that chance with 200 amps or more?   You won't have those issues with Bryan he does quality work and also does a lot of commercial work.

Had a great experience with these guys. Shane was always a text away throughout the process. We had our electrical panel upgraded from a 100 to 200 amp and added recessed lights throughout the entire house. I think we ended with about 40ish cans. Had some power issues come up along the way but they were able to take care of that quickly.

Took about 2-3 days of work for everything to get done. Keith (the owner) was nice enough to come out for the day of the inspection of the panel to make sure everything went through smoothly.

Had a couple lights that stopped working and they were able to come out the same day and swap them out.

Family owned company and would definitely recommend them! Will for sure be going with them again in the future!

Friendly and professional, Sueng Lee was not the most budget conscious choice, but he was definitely the right one for our project. I had multiple electrical installs ranging from non-compliant exterior flood lights, replacement of GFCI outlets, to adding new indoor electrical outlets, to updating old fixtures in our home. I received 4 different quotes from 4 different companies, Sueng Lee was not the most expensive, nor was he the cheapest. His estimate was in the high middle and I ultimately chose him because he is licensed (look up his contractor license, it is valid, also bonded and insured), he arrived on time, and I received an email quote that very evening. You definitely do not want to mess with unlicensed contractors, especially when it comes to upgrading electrical work for your home. I have heard of many crazy horror stories where unlicensed electricians replaced old fixtures for dirt cheap, ended up short-circuiting other outlets, and was nowhere to be found after receiving payment. If you think hiring a professional is expensive, try hiring an amateur. Do yourself a favor and budget accordingly for high-quality, licensed service professionals.

Sueng Lee and his partner Teddy (also his translator) arrived on time, followed Covid safety precautions, wore masks the entire visit (both indoors and out), and bonus points for respectfully removing their shoes upon arriving in my Asian household. I appreciate their friendly and professional nature and will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family in the future.

Tyler did a fantastic job.  He was upfront with his price and communicative about his timing.  Once on the job site, he knew exactly what the problem was, discussed with me why there was the problem, and explained what he would need to do to fix it.  He then made sure that I was OK with his game plan prior to proceeding.  Once done, he cleaned up the area and was on his way.  I would definitely use him again.

Provided extremely competitive flat rate quote. Called prior to discuss options and get direction. Showed up on time with equipment, did quick replacement repair and left area clean.

This company responded to my call quickly. They came out the same day to do a free estimate and came to do the work the next day. I had an outdoor light fixture changed and a new motion sensor security light put on the side of my house. Todd and his partner showed up on time and worked quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend them.

Called them for a NEMA 14-50 outlet install in the garage. Asked a couple of questions about where the panel was located and where I wanted the installation. They quoted the price on phone, showed up promptly the next morning, and were professionally done in 1 hour. Very easy process. Highly recommend.

I hired Mickey to install a ceiling fan in my upstairs. We have a vaulted, exposed beam ceiling, and my husband just wasn't able to figure it out. They quoted me much lower than the competition which was great. The fan was installed with only a small hiccup; a hole in the wall. No problem, they're coming back to patch it tomorrow. He and his colleague were friendly and fast. Great work and I would hire them again.
