If I had to use 3 words to describe Stephen and his team, they would be skilled, professional, and punctual. I wanted to have installed 3 electrical ground wires for my backyard and courtyard. Stephen went above and beyond the call of duty--the consult was thorough and estimate very reasonable. As soon as the offer was accepted, Stephen and Alex got right down to it and delivered in a timely manner. They also made sure all ground wiring was installed in compliance with all city codes. In order to achieve that, Stephen hired his own concrete contractor so I didn't have to go out looking for one. The whole process was smooth, efficient, and swift.
I would definitely recommend Stephen and certainly reach out to him again for future projects.

Preliminary Review (will update after we see how things go)

Just had a consultation with Jeff (owner) to discuss my project requiring electrical work.  So far I am very impressed. Very nice person and easy going but also very professional!!!  He was in no hurry to rush off to other things. Instead, Jeff gave me the time needed to discuss my project and the electrical needs. Excellent!

Where we are at present:  Jeff has taken photos and all the details and looked at power demands in the house and also in my garage/hobby workshop and is going to sit down and consider several alternatives and then we'll meet again to discuss.  

I realize this sounds like how it is always done and to some extent true. HOWEVER, Jeff seems genuinely interested in the objectives of my project (can relate well) and the feeling is different than I've gotten from other folks whom I've dealt with in the past when it comes to estimates.  I am eager to see how this all unfolds. One way or another I will update this review when I have more useful information to share with potential customers of City Electric Works!

We obtained a few quotes for our project and we are really happy with Inception Electric.  They were responsive, punctual and gave a fair quote.  

Once they arrived, they immediately figured out the problem.  Once the part arrived, they returned to my house to complete the job.  

We will use them again for future jobs.

Had a great experience with this company and their team.  They were professional, courteous, flexible and patiently answered questioned and LISTENED.  My wife and I couldn't be happier with their work.  They replaced our electrical panel, reran some under spec'd wires (fire hazard) and installed recessed lights and fans in a number of rooms.

Eden and Eduardo were fabulous. They installed a Telsa supercharger for me and the installation was super complicated because my home is built into a hillside and my main electrical on the side of my home a long distance from my garage where I wanted the charger installed. The supercharger could also not be run from a sub panel inside my home because electrical would have to have been run through concrete as my house is comprised of a lot of concrete and  framed with steel on. a hillside. I had sought 6 different quotes and they were definitely the most reasonable. But I also want to say that I have experience with contractors as I built my own custom home and have been in the business of representing contractors (as an attorney) for more than 20 years. My brother is also a general contractor. So I know contractors as I have been around them my whole life, in both my professional life and my family life.  I will also say that I am a single mom with three  young kids and live in a big home in an expensive neighborhood. I am used to getting outrageous quotes for work to be done because people see the house and see single woman and make assumptions that I am wealthy and will pay more and am a woman so I don't know any  better and will pay more.  But because I represent contractors and my brother is a general contractor I either know what is reasonable or have a good way to check. I was impressed from the very beginning with this father and son team. Their quote was excellent and given the same day Eden was out. In fact  as far as technology is concerned they are super advanced. Few of my contractor clients are as advanced in the estimate process (which was sent and approved electronically). Not sure what happened with a couple of the other reviews because my experience could not have been more different. In fact  when it started raining I got a call right away asking if we could move the install to the next day. I will also say when I went to pay, I tried to confirm the amount and gave Eden a number that was way higher than his quote, Eden corrected me right away and said no, that is too much. In all honesty he could have said,  yes thats right and I would not have known the difference.  All I can say is that when it comes to contractors, there are a lot of questionable people out there but this is a company that is honest to fault. Truthfully he underestimated the job and I knew that based on what I was told by my brother and other contractors. So I paid them more that they  quoted even though they did not ask because I believe in giving a fair wage for a job well done.  They also did a great job of cleaning up after the job and swept up and returned my stuff to the condition that  existed before they started.  Seriously recommend this team. Spend some time chatting with them both and you will see that these are good, hardworking people, honest and responsible. You cannot go wrong with this father son team and frankly I like the idea of supporting a small family owned business. Finally I will say that my dogs loved Eden and Eduardo and the last time I had a I bad experience with a  contractor I felt like I should have known better because my  dogs growled at him and got their hackles up.  In retrospect it was clearly a warning sign.  Maybe its nonsense but I think dogs can tell and my dogs just wanted to love on Eden and his dad. I will also note that I checked their license with the CSLB and verified they are licensed, bonded and insured with no prior complaints with the contractors state licensing board.

Ok, if you are looking to add satillite dish to your home, don't call DirectTV or DishNetwork, call these guys at Synchronized Home Solutions. They are reliable, fast and know their stuff.  And you will get the best deal out there..they are honest too! On top of that they are genuinely nice  (and funny) guys who actually mean it when they say call us if you have any problems and we will get back to you within an hour.  Our dog stepped on the dvd remote tonite and messed up our settings..I couldn't get anything to work. I called their number and Rainier called back within an hour.  These guys are successful because they know their craft and keep their word..two traits you rarely find in businesses today.  Call them..you will be glad you did.

NOTE:  Although they are located in Poway, they service other areas in San Diego too.  We live in Lakeside (East County) and they installed ours no problem.

Gibson lighting is hands down the best and most valuable lighting resource for my company.  As an interior designer, I've been fortunate to work with Jim and his team to create custom fixtures and modify antique or other fixtures.  They make our vision become a reality, no matter the challenge!

Tim is the man. I am a plumbing contractor who focuses on the customer experience. I don't do electrical work and therefore give tim all our electrical work. Over the years I have never had one bad experience. He does great work and I never have to worry about him jeopardizing my reputation. I give him a job and he takes it from there. All my customers love him. I pay what ever he asks because I know that he does things the right way and doesn't cut corners. A penny saved on a contractor is not a penny earned. It's a massive liability waiting to catch on fire or worse. Go with Tim, you won't be disappointed.

These guys are the best most professional team ever. They came out and did a free assessment of a small project I need to have done. I then spoke with scheduling, very easy. They are busy so be flexible, they'll get you in. They actually had a cancellation so they fitted me in about 3 days early. Tech came out reviewed the project once more, I had questions that he was able to answer quickly and professionally based on his opinion. I appreciate these guys professionalism and prompt response to my concerns. I generally tend to lean on the experience of a service provider and I am very pleased with the job they did and the price was very reasonable. Bravo gentlemen

Jarrod is reliable, super friendly and very thorough. He installed multiple ceiling fans throughout our house in one day and worked to tackle some complicated lighting issues as well. I can't recommend his services enough- my go to electrician from now on...

I contacted Goodman Electric and spoke with Alicia, Randy's wife.  She asked very specific questions about what I needed and I sent pictures of the area in my home for light fixture replacement.  Randy arrived at my home right on time and completed the job in about three hours for a very reasonable rate.  Other electricians quoted me as much as five times the amount that Randy charged me (they obviously quoted me a ridiculous figure to price themselves out of the job).  When I need an electrician, Goodman electric is the company that I am going to call in the future.

Was having an issue with 2 outlets. One indoor and one outdoor. The power kept going in and out. I reached out to several electricians and Mauricio was one of the quickest to respond. The quote he gave me was very reasonable and I was able to book a next day appointment. He was very helpful and professional and did the job pretty quick. Overall would highly recommend!!!!!

My wife and I just bought our first home in Poway and have been working through a number of small issues with the house. The biggest thing on my plate though was having all of the electrical gremlins from the previous owner worked out. The previous owner apparently was a self proclaimed electrician, but should've stuck with their day-job instead. John came over a couple times and fixed a number of wiring issues we had as well as replaced the old plastic box that our downstairs fan was mounted to which was causing quite a bit of movement of the fan. I will continue to use John as my go-to electrician and would have no reservations with referring him to friends and family.

Want to say thank you to Daniel for his thorough, neat and quality work he provided yesterday at my house, needed a simple outlet installed in by back yard for my BBQ Island and a repair on my patio cover electrical that the previous company screwed up on. Even though it was a simple job it's the attention to detail and quality that I appreciate. Thanks Daniel.

Garage power went off. Couldn't get my car out. They came within one hour of calling. Found the problem and fixed it. As a free bonus, showed me how to fix a problem I had with my home filter. Courteous, professional and on time. Highly recommended.

Hands down the best electrician I have ever worked with! He responds to every call and I have needed him for multiple projects.

What a rip-off! They charged over $400 to install a ceiling fan and an outlet. They were here for 2 hours (why it took even that long is another mystery since there were THREE guys here working) and 6 mins. but charged for full 3 hours. When I called them to inquire about the charges, they were flippant and uncooperative. And when I asked why a very similar job the year before cost under $200, I was told that I got a real good deal.  Seriously??
Never again! Buh-bye...
