Super responsive to the bid. Great advice for how to execute the job. Timely in that it was done within a week. The electrician that came, Gary, was kind and efficient. Satisfied with the end product!

Cory was our electrician and he was the most professional,  friendly and informative person. He explained everything he was going to do in great detail and even showed us the work he was doing and made sure that we approved. The pricing was also fair for the job that was done. Kudos to Berks for having such a wonderful electrician on their staff. If this is any indication of the rest of the company then we will totally use them again.

I can't believe how helpful Sean was! I called with an issue I was having with a gfci outlet. I tried some basic steps and replaced the outlet, but I reached the limits of my knowledge...so I called to schedule an appointment that would no doubt cost a bit to even get a person to come to my house.

Sean listened to my issue and what I did so far. He then suggested I go to a gfci outlet in the adjacent room and try resetting those.. Boom that fixed it!

He could have remained silent and charged me a few hundred to come and press a button, but he didn't. Seriously, this is now my go to for all future electrical issues!

Update 10-22-18: I called Sean to come look at some things because my circuits kept tripping and I noticed some sparks when turning on certain switches. Anyways, I was very happy with his service! He got everything fixed and discovered a huge hazard in my attic...

Apparently there was a loose hot wire that was just lying on the insulation. I saw it and no joke, just exposed wiring with electricity running through it lying there!! Not only did he fix my initial problem but he found a huge hazard that could have led to something very very very bad, like a burned down house.

I hired Ismar to fix the stairwell lights. This light is up on the ceiling about 20+ feet high and he was able to troubleshoot the problem and fixed it. I had  mentioned the problem to other electricians and they did not even want to attempt to fix it. I am very grateful for his professionalism. I would highly recommend him. I will be hiring him for another project soon.

I needed some electrical work done a home I had listed prior to close. I called up T &J and an electrician met me at the property that evening. The price was fair, and he was able to quote me that night, and knock out the work the next morning .

Dan did a great job on my new home . He really cares about his clients and it shows. He takes pride in everything he does. I had him do several electrical tasks in my new home and my wife and I are very happy with the results. Dan is now considered a friend and i will have him back at my house to do a lot more work. Thanks for everything Dan and we appreciate the great service.

Rick came by to trouble shoot some non working outlets.  He solved the problem very quickly and gave me very important information on what I would need to do if the problem cropped up again. He did not offer services that were not needed, just fixed what was wrong. I so appreciate the honesty.

Ismael assisted me with installing two curling fixtures. Other companies quoted 300+, however Ismael installed the fixtures for $90 each. Knowledgeable and quick service.

Being involved in working with Helix Electric, I would like to share my personal attitude toward this company. I recon Helix has become a leader in electric works, including design and construction, for past several years. San Diego looks more beautiful now, because of innovative touches added by the company.
Company's spirit provokes to become a professional productive and creative participant. I'm sure not only me, but many other individuals associate Helix with liberal resourceful mark in their business portfolio.

A kitchen zone of my electric went out. Granted, my house is old and had substantial wiring issues that needed to be addressed.  Declan came out on short notice, opened up a box that had been jury rigged by someone long ago.  He then acted irritated at my house, saying he didn't want to bid on the project, almost acting like it was not fixable without tearing the house down. This is of course his prerogative to not want to do a job. However I found someone after that too not only fix this problem area, but rewire the whole house for me, and adding a new subpanel at a reasonable price.  Declan was kind enough to not charge me the full two hours, just one, however he fixed nothing and just left me with a hole in the wall.  From my personal experience, if you have a job that is substantial, you may want to call someone else, or see if he will give an estimate before committing any money in case he doesn't feel like taking the job.  I see he has a couple good reviews here, so for simpler jobs perhaps he is a good choice, I wouldn't know.  Summary:
The good:
Came out short notice, was here over an hour but charged for 1 hour, did diagnose the bad neutral correctly.
The bad:
Fixed nothing, left a hole in the wall, was unwilling to propose a solution or bid on the project, made me feel like my house was garbage, and still charged me.

Mason Electrical did a fantastic job moving a few outlets to help hide the wires behind my TVs. Definitely clean up the look of our TVs and I'm sure we'll have him back for other projects in the future!

Steven was great.   Clearly knowledgeable, excellent quality of work, friendly demeanor, final cost under the initial estimate.   No drama.

As opposed to the other estimate I tried to get from a larger electrician company where the electrician spent the whole time criticizing the work of prior electricians, then took a week and a half to generate an estimate that was 4 lines long in an email and missed the most important things I'd asked for.

Have used them twice now on 2 different NEMA 14-50 installs. The work took about 1-1.5 hours in each instance. One was done last year and has been working great since then. The other one was just installed. Pricing is competitive. Would highly recommend OC Electric.

I contacted SD Electricity to convert my garage outlets from 110v to 220v so I can charge my electric car. Cosmin was super helpful and got this project completed over the same weekend I got in touch with him. Really great service. Ended up using them for replacing my A/C unit as well as some other smaller projects around the house.

I found Rod on YELP while looking to upgrade my panel from 100 to 200 amp. I must say I'm very impressed not only did I get a great quote but he actually returned my calls or text's almost instantly. He went out of his way and exceeded all of my expectations. Be sure to schedule early as he is a busy guy!

Chris did a great job installing my Tesla Wall Charger for my Model 3. From the first interactions he was always friendly, straightforward and easy to work with. He promised to come take a look and give me quote and he was exactly on time.
His pricing is very fair and transparent. When time to perform the work, he was very efficient and diligent. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome.
The best part is that Chris is the nicest guy you will ever meet. I look forward to having Lange Electric helping me with my future electric projects.

It's Saturday, and it's Memorial Day weekend. A guest accidentally zaps my electricity while running a hair dryer. Circuit breakers look fine, but flipping them on and off doesn't solve the problem.  

Who do you call? Actually, anybody that'll answer. I called other highly rated Yelp-recommended companies, but they all bailed and weren't around for the weekend. I called up Kevin, it was already almost 5pm, and he answered and said he can come right over.

He diagnosed the problem methodically and within a half hour had everything back up and running again. He was courteous, pleasant, and very knowledgable (I think he's been doing this since 1976). Highly recommended when you need someone who knows his stuff in a pinch.

We were looking to add shelves to our closet and Hank was responsive, punctual and finished the job to our satisfaction. He made sure it was made to our liking. The entire project took a few hours and was hassle free.

AJS Electric was wonderful.  He was thoughtful, careful, gentle, read instructions immediately and worked well with my landscape architect figuring out how to install a stainless box for my new garden lighting timer.  He came quickly, was prompt, cleaned up after himself and his pricing was very fair.  I highly recommend him.

I called and spoke with Rob on August 1st, 2017 to schedule an appointment for some misc electrical work I needed done around my house.   He said he would send someone out the next day and that I would receive a call to let me know they were on there way.  I received no phone call and no one showed up.
