Best Electricians in United States

Made an appointment on Tuesday for Friday (Feb 1), and at no time was I contacted that they would not be able to honor their appointment. Required service to identify potential upgrade of outlet prior to a treadmill being delivered to house on Saturday (Feb 2). I followed up to ensure they were coming out late Friday morning and it was then, that they said they could not honor the appointment. If you call this 5-star​ service, then I give 1 star for communication and making appointments that they cannot adhere too. I even identified I was active duty military and that  I solely relied on them to get an estimate with no remorse or response from them. Looks like they are happy with their current customer base and are complacent with others. Ensure you have multiple estimates and appointments with other electricians if you are trying to meet a specified deadline.

Mike is a great guy, very reasonable in price and very upfront and trustworthy. I found him on yelp and had him do a minor job for me in which I was completely satisfied. Would definitely use his services again.

I bought a home that had phone jacks all over the place, including some that did not work. I hired Shaun to come in, trace the phone lines, clean things up and simplify the mess. He did all of this very quickly and cleanly. I was really impressed! The guy is straightforward, no nonsense and knows what he is doing. I would recommend him to anyone, BUT he no longer does work on two-story houses.

Troubleshot and fix my problem quick. Fast response and great work ethic he cleaned after him self and placed everything back as it was before, beside having my plugs fix I couldn't even tell I had a electricians come to my house. He's really knows his trade he explained everything to me why and how the problem was caused.

Loved that the workers showed up in masks! Very polite and efficient! Best part was they cleaned up as if they had never been here! Great company to use!

Great people to work with. Knowledgable about their business and gave me some great ideas on how to accomplish what I needed for a bit less work. Pete was on time when he w as fifuringnout the quote. The electricians arrived on time for the work. The two of them were hard workers, and got is all done I  the time frame they quoted. If you have read my more technical reviews you will see that I'm a serious Yelper & DIY'er (Do It Yourself).

Last year I installed over 2000' of electrical in my house - it was an old fix-er-up-er (aka dump).  In the process I have developed advanced electrical knowledge.  This year I got into bending EMT conduit and setup two sub-panels and an underground feed.

This is where Roberts comes in.  While in the electrical isle at home depot I met Robert Donovan.  I received some expert guidance about the various methods of joining two metal junctions boxes back back but separated by a wall.  I also discussed some other aspects of my latest project - running a 40A feed to a 220v Level 2 charger for an electric car.  The rapid charger cost $800 so I didn't want to take any chances.  This guy is much nicer and things out of the box compared to other pro's that I have hired to review my projects.

What noticed and like about this guy is you keep throwing problems at him he gives you multiple solutions and doesn't say things like well, why would you want to do that?.  Finally, I pulled out $10 or $20 cash and he didn't want to accept it.  I insisted because I said I would never expect serious professional advice for free and I run a small  computer repair business my self and hate being hit up for free advice.

A note to my fellow yelpers: Electrical work take lots and lots and lots of time.  I did a complete rewire in my shed and the connection to the house including drilling etc.  I spent many full 8 hour days doing it.  I have all professional tools by Ideal & Klein, a right angle drill, Irwin bits and extensions etc. I'm a perfectionist too but I would never want to do this work for a living because it is so easy when working with old buildings to underestimate the time to do the work.  So much older wiring is crap and has bad grounds.  There is a huge difference in slapping a wire in and doing it to code.

So if you are a diy'er / apartment owner etc and you plan to do the work yourself you can hire this guy to go over your project and make sure it is up to code.  You can save money by doing drilling, opening walls, stucco, etc and have him do the work that needs an expert.  Some day I'll have the money to say - you do it all well I go sailing.

My Main circuit breaker broke on a Sunday afternoon. My husband was at work and I couldn't believe that out of all of our friends none of them are electricians! I called around for about an hour trying to find somebody who wouldn't charge me an arm and a leg to replace the $20 part. My husband was at work and I knew my chances of getting ripped off were pretty high. My husband called me and told me he found a guy that wants me to call him because he could walk me through fixing it. I told my husband that I already knew how to flip a breaker switch. He said he already told that to the electrician and that he wanted me to call him anyway.
I reluctantly called the number my husband gave me and sure enough the gentleman on the other line walked me through fixing the problem myself at no charge! He knew my husband was not at home and could have easily made a quick $200! I am so grateful for this man's honesty and will definitely be calling Pacific Electric for all of my electrical needs!

I have used Chad from Arendt Electric for many of my home projects, he is clean, professional, and a wonderful electrician to work with.  Highly recommended.

Farhad helped us with installing a new fan, installing a new patio light fixture, and fixing a very tricky microwave re-venting. He did a great job and ended up staying late to make sure the microwave vent was done properly, which we really appreciated. Very reasonable prices, and we will definitely reach out again when we have more jobs we need help with!

I cannot say enough good things about SMS electric.  We recently purchased a house in IB, the home inspector said that the wiring in the house needed some work.  We wanted to get a professional electrician to take a look and called Scott at SMS electric.  Scott not only saved us money by confirming we did not need work on the house that was recommended, but he also did not charge us for the inspection.  We have also used Scott to do several upgrades to our house as he has earned our complete trust.  I highly recommend SMS electric to anyone who needs superior electrical service.

I was so fortunate that Chris from Energy Electric answered my call about my problem with an electrical outage that affected my master bedroom, computers, and TV. He guided me through some over the phone tests to determine source of the problem and then arranged to get the correct breakers/fuse that were needed to fix it. He was at my house the next morning and was able to get everything back to normal in a short time. I really value his expertise and commitment to fixing my problem. Highly recommend.

I contacted them and they came out right away.  I have a very high electric bill and have been paying it for years with no questions.  Now I am on fixed income and I need to lower it...he came out and was very nice and knowledgeable.  Gave  my husband and I great advice on how we begin to lower our electrical expenses.  I would recommend him to anyone.

It's easy to understand why Nick has a 5 start rating and frankly he deserves more than 5 stars.  This was our first time using Nick for a variety of home projects.  From estimate to completion of work Nick and team are professional, knowledgeable, courteous and just a pleasure to deal with.   His office manager Natalie is fabulous with communication and prompt with follow up.
We will be using Nick again soon to connect power to our Hot Tub.

I contacted Albers on the recommendation of a relative.  Nate responded on short notice, at the time he stated.   He installed lights as well as new electrical outlets, both inside and outside.  He was clean, fast, professional and very reasonably priced.  I won't hesitate to call him again.  In fact, I've already started my wish list for electrical upgrades to my old house.  Highly recommend!

I've used Bill at Mister Electric for years, he is a staple of Scripps Ranch. He is a one man shop, polite and fair in his dealings. His reported closure by Yelp (december 2018) is untrue, I called him this week and he was at my house to provide quotes for some small jobs I need done.
He is busy but leave a polite, clear message on the voice mail and expect a call back about your work. Recommended.

I had a handful of projects that needed to get done but the electrician I had used in the past who had worked on getting our home and garage electrical system up to date stopped responding to calls and emails. I called Raceway and Mike came out really quickly, walked through each project with me and helped figure out where the last electrician had left off so we could finish the work. He also pointed out other things he noticed that weren't up to code so we could put that on our longer term list of fixes for our 1960's house. His bid was very fair and after I accepted it online, someone from the office called me the next day to schedule the work. The day of, two electricians showed up and divvied up the work so they could get it done in a few hours. They were great at communicating as they went about progress and any issues they encountered and did a nice job cleaning up after themselves. At the end of the day, I had the sub panel in my garage fixed, and exterior switch and outlet brought up to code, 4 exterior lights installed, a ceiling fan installed, and a broken GFCI outlet replaced for a very reasonable price. I was very happy with the work and especially the timely and consistent communication. Would gladly go back to Raceway when we're ready to do more electrical work on the house.

We recently got a new electric car and quickly figured out we needed the ability to charge at home. We called A-EV install and from the start they made us feel comfortable that they knew what they were doing. They came out to look at the location and gave us a quote. A few days later they came out and did the work. They were clean, courteous and did a great job. They pulled the permit for us and followed up to make sure the inspection passed. They even fixed a plug behind our refrigerator that had not worked in years while they were here. I highly recommend A-EV electric!
