Best Electricians in United States
in the interests of full disclosure, TIM WHEYLAND is my friend. the irony of that is that knowing TIM makes a good review from me more reliable not less. i'm a serious butt head and would not write something praising his company if i didn't know every word was true. if i was disappointed in his work, i would probably not write a review at all but would certainly give him grief until forever -- maybe longer.
my dad used to say that you can tell who your friends are 'cause they're the ones that stab you in the front. in my case (since i seriously took my father's words to heart) that usually means stabbing repeatedly.
fortunately, TIM did a bang up job and so neither of us had to go thru that.
the wife and i (okay, mostly the wife) contacted WHEYLAND ELECTRIC to take out a hideous dining room chandelier we inherited when we bought the place. the plan was to replace that with can lighting and a dimmer switch.
TIM showed up as promised and did great work in a timely manner. everything as promised. great job. highly recommended.
my dad used to joke that when the PEARLY GATES broke down it took forever to get them fixed 'cause PETER had to go to HELL to find a contractor. well, if the problem's in some far, far distant future when TIM WHEYLAND's shuffled off his mortal coil, at least PETER wouldn't have to look so far to find a great electrician.

Mike and his coworker came over with mask on and took shoes off when entering. They were both very professional and completed a job that had taken me a year to finally realize that I should probably get help. They fixed my mistakes and completed the job in about 30 min. There knowledge and experience is invaluable, however their rate is very reasonable. I absolutely recommend.

Adam and Roger repaired recessed lighting in my kitchen. They were phenomenally efficient, friendly, and conscientious of my property. I did not call dozens of other shops, but based my decision via Yelp. The technicians even vacuumed the minor drywall remnants at the very end, and were careful to leave a clean work space. Support your local Temeculan community and don't waste your time searching elsewhere. The good folks at Redhawk Electric are super reliable. Many thanks guys!!

I had a great experience working with Shaun to run some ethernet cable throughout my house.
My first good impression was when he told me that my thought of using Cat6a instead of Cat6 was probably overkill. I went with his suggestion and saved a few hundred dollars right there.
He came out for the free estimate and we walked around the house as he took notes & mapped out the proposed network drops. He provided a financial breakdown of the bid later that same night.
Over the next few days, Shaun was patient and very responsive while we sent emails back and forth trying to finalize all the details of the bid.
The actual work took about 8 hours over two days. Shaun and his associate were quick and kept everything very tidy, cleaning up as they went. During the first day we realized that the relocation of my coax cable that we had discussed during the initial walkthrough was accidentally left off the bid. Shaun didn't sweat it and did it anyway. He even replaced my old coax splitter with a new one.
At the end of the second day, everything was hooked up very cleanly & labeled. Shaun tested the network and fixed a bad drop that was malfunctioning. I verified my new gigabit speeds using NetCPS and LAN Speed Test.
I was very pleased with the whole thing and would definitely recommend Shaun to anyone who has telecom or network needs.

Had an emergency situation with a blown main circuit breaker late in the day. After calling several electricians that were not able to help me the same day, I talked to Oscar from Omega and he was able to come out around 7:30 pm. Oscar arrived on time ,quickly assessed the situation, went to pick up the proper replacement breaker, returned and installed it, checked out all of my circuits, then wrapped up and was on his way in a short time. I was very impressed with Oscar's knowledge, thoroughness, and professionalism. I will definitely be calling on Oscar for any of my future electrical needs.

John and his crew are Amazing! Miguel came out and explained everything throughly! They Masked and covered the area with plastic. They work very fast! I was a little confused about it the type of lights and Miguel explained that to me as well! They are PROFICIENT in all of your electrical and lighting needs! I also had his team install smart dimmers for my lighting as well! After over 20 years in our home we finally have light in our family room! We are very pleased! They left my home ready to paint after patching and texturing with minimal drywall openings! We are so pleased!

Great experience and an easy process. Quick to respond and communicative from start to finish. Install went smoothly, very happy with the outcome and the quality of work.

I have used Armes multiple times to install electrical outlets, exterior lighting and install my fans. This company is top notch and very professional. They call you back, show up on time and the employees that come to your house are considerate and work very hard. They'll wear their booties in your home and ensure they clean up when they are done. My most recent project employed Jonathan and Steven and I was very impressed and pleased with their work. I will continue to always call Armes for any electrical work; now if they only did painting too for my next project. Thanks!

If you have read my more technical reviews you will see that I'm a serious Yelper & DIY'er (Do It Yourself).
Last year I installed over 2000' of electrical in my house - it was an old fix-er-up-er (aka dump). In the process I have developed advanced electrical knowledge. This year I got into bending EMT conduit and setup two sub-panels and an underground feed.
This is where Roberts comes in. While in the electrical isle at home depot I met Robert Donovan. I received some expert guidance about the various methods of joining two metal junctions boxes back back but separated by a wall. I also discussed some other aspects of my latest project - running a 40A feed to a 220v Level 2 charger for an electric car. The rapid charger cost $800 so I didn't want to take any chances. This guy is much nicer and things out of the box compared to other pro's that I have hired to review my projects.
What noticed and like about this guy is you keep throwing problems at him he gives you multiple solutions and doesn't say things like well, why would you want to do that?. Finally, I pulled out $10 or $20 cash and he didn't want to accept it. I insisted because I said I would never expect serious professional advice for free and I run a small computer repair business my self and hate being hit up for free advice.
A note to my fellow yelpers: Electrical work take lots and lots and lots of time. I did a complete rewire in my shed and the connection to the house including drilling etc. I spent many full 8 hour days doing it. I have all professional tools by Ideal & Klein, a right angle drill, Irwin bits and extensions etc. I'm a perfectionist too but I would never want to do this work for a living because it is so easy when working with old buildings to underestimate the time to do the work. So much older wiring is crap and has bad grounds. There is a huge difference in slapping a wire in and doing it to code.
So if you are a diy'er / apartment owner etc and you plan to do the work yourself you can hire this guy to go over your project and make sure it is up to code. You can save money by doing drilling, opening walls, stucco, etc and have him do the work that needs an expert. Some day I'll have the money to say - you do it all well I go sailing.

Awesome guys, great service and on time , a lot cheaper then big electric company's , they don't charge to come look at the problem, they stay till the job gets done.

I was referred to Arendt Electric by my general contractor to find the source of a circuit fault. It was evident Chad has significant experience diagnosing improperly wired circuits. He handled the problem promptly. As a result of his talent, I have hired him to help me make my new house the way I want it. Fan install, ceiling speakers for Atmos theatre sound, and outdoor wiring.

Good work on small furniture adjustment and fixing drywall. I'll need to touch up the paint due to the textured ceiling but the repair seems well done.

tried to install a ceiling fan...sparks flew everywhere. called Scott and he came out fifteen minutes later and now we have a working fan :D he also made suggestions to make our house safer since the previous homeowner did all the electrical themselves and it's not the safest way. will be using again to come get it all checked out! super awesome service.

I have known Chris since 2004 and use his services exclusively for all of my electrical needs. I am a general contractor in Scripps Ranch and with each of my projects I know Chris will get the job done right. He is knowledgeable, dependable, and his work is excellent. All of his guys are meticulous, neat and efficient. My homeowners appreciate how they always go the extra mile to insure their property is protected while they do their work. Chris is a honorable professional but he seems more like family to me, than an electrical contractor. If someone is considering hiring him I would 100% recommend Chris and his crew.

I was in need of a electrician to hang my complicated chandelier and Eric did a great job! He was fast efficient and great price. I will definitely use him again!!

Volt was recommended to us by a jacuzzi store. They came out and gave us a quote, but wanted to take a route that was more than dbl the necessary route. When I called to ask for clarification and ask for a break down of the quote into time & material, and I never received a return call or email. Called and spoke the the receptionist first and then emailed a few days later. Very unprofessional. I worked for an electrical contractor for 7 years, and a construction management firm for 5. I know what is acceptable, what they need to break down for me in a quote upon request, and what I should be able to expect from a licensed contractor, regardless of trade.

Nathan saved the the day when he came to my rescue after another electrician let me down. He showed up on time ready to work even on a hot day having to work in my attic to install my new can lights. He dealt with all the quirks from my aging Clairemont home with knowledge and expertise. He has served our Country and now is working hard as an experienced licensed electrical contractor. You get what you pay for, he is worth it.

I've used Bill at Mister Electric for years, he is a staple of Scripps Ranch. He is a one man shop, polite and fair in his dealings. His reported closure by Yelp (december 2018) is untrue, I called him this week and he was at my house to provide quotes for some small jobs I need done.
He is busy but leave a polite, clear message on the voice mail and expect a call back about your work. Recommended.

I've used raceway on two different homes and different projects. Both times the service was excellent, and the pricing was lower than other bids. Mike and Eddie stay very busy and have been in business for quite awhile, I swear I see their trucks everywhere around San Diego. If you're looking for an electrician or solar installer I wouldn't look anywhere but here.
Thanks again guys, I look forward to the next project.

Great experience with these folks. Love the online remote estimate via email/web!! Great comms, very fair prices, and the workmanship was top notch.
They arrived on time and cleaned up when they were through. 14-50 outlet works great.
