in the interests of full disclosure, TIM WHEYLAND is my friend. the irony of that is that knowing TIM makes a good review from me more reliable not less. i'm a serious butt head and would not write something praising his company if i didn't know every word was true. if i was disappointed in his work, i would probably not write a review at all but would certainly give him grief until forever -- maybe longer.

my dad used to say that you can tell who your friends are 'cause they're the ones that stab you in the front. in my case (since i seriously took my father's words to heart) that usually means stabbing repeatedly.

fortunately, TIM did a bang up job and so neither of us had to go thru that.

the wife and i (okay, mostly the wife) contacted WHEYLAND ELECTRIC to take out a hideous dining room chandelier we inherited when we bought the place. the plan was to replace that with can lighting and a dimmer switch.

TIM showed up as promised and did great work in a timely manner. everything as promised. great job. highly recommended.

my dad used to joke that when the PEARLY GATES broke down it took forever to get them fixed 'cause PETER had to go to HELL to find a contractor.  well, if the problem's in some far, far distant future when TIM WHEYLAND's shuffled off his mortal coil, at least PETER wouldn't have to look so far to find a great electrician.

We are installing a new slider and needed re-wiring work, light switch and outdoor patio light as part of the overall work.  Site unseen, Mike assessed the situation and in short order discussed and clearly communicated his work plan.  We could not have been happier with Mike's demeanor and conscientious approach. So, he was fair initially over the phone with a guesstimate on price, he absolutely killed with his work - under promised and over delivered.  He's the man!  I encourage you to call the man as he is fair and true to his word.  Thanks Mike for a job well done - could t be happier.  Cheers.

Redhawk Electrical came out today to fix my array of problems. Cody and Adam were wonderful because mine was a really complicated case since we had a room addition which we found out the wiring was done poorly. I would def use these guys again. Nancy miller

What a horrific and shameful experience I had with this guy. Besides the completely nasty attitude, the guy literally is threatening and aggressive. Under NO circumstances would I ever, ever, ever recommend his services to anyone. I could care less about his high flat rates and hourly rates as the other 1 star review mentioned. What concerns and appalls me is the way this guy conducts business. Super shady, super threatening if things don't go his way, and above all he does a horrible job. I had to spend nearly $500 correcting the mess he created. It's a shame the guy advertises like crazy all over CraigsList. Poor unknowing people have no idea what they're getting themselves into. Funny thing is, after reading his unprofessional response to the other 1 start reviewer, I'm sure he's going to say he has no idea who I am and has never conducted business with me.

My father asked for help to find an electrician for some trouble he was having with his 57 year old circuit breakers. Oscar was very quick to respond to my request for information posted on Yelp. Unfortunately, my father hired his friend s son to do the work and failed to tell me. Although we didn't use Omega this time I have no doubt that I will need an electrician in the future. Omega will be my first and most likely last call. Thank you Oscar for your timely response!

Hired Next Level Lighting for 7 light installation.  His team is wonderful!  Cameron was the lead manager for the project.  The crew finished the job within time promised.  Very professional and efficient.  
Prices very reasonable!  Will call again!

I first used So Cal Home Theater for a  corporate installation. Alan and his team are excellent.  Honesty in the quoting process, great work on the installation and fantastic customer service.
I highly recommend Alan and his very capable staff.  It is wonderful to find a company that believes in integrity in business.  I am saving up $$$$ so I can have his team install my new home theater!

Today was our third time using Armes. It for sure won't be our last. The guys today were first and foremost on time. That's important! They were friendly, fast and VERY clean. At the start they explained what the project involved. This time they replaced old track lighting with LED cans and retrofit old fixtures in the same style. Before leaving I asked if they had time to wire a plug for a new TV. Not a problem. I think they are VERY competitively priced. I cannot say enough good about them. Previously they did two (2) ceiling fans and replaced old switches with new rocket-type switches.

Having electrical work done is always painful, but in this case, we actually feel good about having the work done.  We had wires burning inside of our walls--  Another electrician could not figure out what was wrong.  Enter Robert.  This man is amazing and is an expert in his field.  We walked around with him and he had the vision of knowing where all of our electrical boxes and wires were without cracking in to the wall.  We had to have the house re-wired (afterall, it is 90 years old).  The beauty of it is that no holes had to be put in our walls, Thank God.  Robert was able to fit under our house as well as crawl through the attic.  Thank you soooo much Robert!

My Main circuit breaker broke on a Sunday afternoon. My husband was at work and I couldn't believe that out of all of our friends none of them are electricians! I called around for about an hour trying to find somebody who wouldn't charge me an arm and a leg to replace the $20 part. My husband was at work and I knew my chances of getting ripped off were pretty high. My husband called me and told me he found a guy that wants me to call him because he could walk me through fixing it. I told my husband that I already knew how to flip a breaker switch. He said he already told that to the electrician and that he wanted me to call him anyway.
I reluctantly called the number my husband gave me and sure enough the gentleman on the other line walked me through fixing the problem myself at no charge! He knew my husband was not at home and could have easily made a quick $200! I am so grateful for this man's honesty and will definitely be calling Pacific Electric for all of my electrical needs!

I was referred to Arendt Electric by my general contractor to find the source of a circuit fault. It was evident Chad has significant experience diagnosing improperly wired circuits. He handled the problem promptly. As a result of his talent, I have hired him to help me make my new house the way I want it. Fan install, ceiling speakers for Atmos theatre sound, and outdoor wiring.

Loved that they showed up in mask. Replaced the screen doors for our house, fixed bidets, fixed chandelier and a screen door. They took the measurements and purchased the door by themselves and fixed it.
Quite efficient and excellent service. We'll call them again.

Called last minute for help with a DIY project gone wrong. Was able to fit me in the next day, and re-wired my entire kitchen/living room in 7 hours, even sweeping and vacuuming when finished. Super friendly, hardworking guys! Manager even stopped by to check the progress and see if I needed anything else. They were clean, on-time and extremely knowledgable. You can tell they pride themselves on efficiency, cleanliness and excellent customer service!!

Chris is my go-to guy for electrical problems and I highly recommend him.  
We came home after being out for a few hours and our garage door opener did not work.  All the electrical in our garage was dead!  After a good while of troubleshooting the various breakers, upstairs and downstairs, we found that the garage was dead, along with the downstairs air conditioner.  It was now 5:30 PM when I got to call Chris, and after a few quick questions he calmly and confidently walked me through resetting the garage GFCI, which immediately solved the problem!  With Chris's good sense of humor he teased that I am now an Electrician, and he would not accept any compensation from me.

Much later that night I checked the garage and everything was off again.  Next day, Chris gave me more troubleshooting help, but when nothing worked, he made an emergency house call and after some good, experienced  troubleshooting, diagnosed the problem, the water heater's recirc pump.  Chris also gave me some additional pointers on some of my house's exterior lighting, etc.

Chris got us up and running again -- he is The Man -- Thanks!!

Found Eric on Yelp and I'm so glad I did! Fixed everything quickly and I was surprised at how inexpensive it was. Definitely keeping his number on hand

Okay, we were in the midst of a bathroom renovation project and found that the vanity light wasn't centered above the sink. Our tile guys had done an outstanding job but, they just weren't electricians and work on the final stage had stopped because of this.

I sent out a few bids with photos and got an immediate response from Nathan (approximately 5 minutes later).

Now, it gets better. I made an appointment for that Saturday and Nathan shows up exactly on time. He enters the bathroom and within about 30 minutes he's done. The​ light is moved, the drywall that he removed was flipped 180 and reinserted to match the space that he cut, and the problem was solved.

I mean I had guys tell me they would have to tear out the wall, it would have to wait for​ a week, they needed to see more photos and inspect it at my cost first. No, Nathan was sincere and a professional, he did the job and was ready to move on, polite and on point.

I hired Bill for a small job of replacing an exhaust fan in a bathroom.  He arrived on time, charged a very reasonable rate, and he stuck to the quoted rate even though he later found that the exact motor I needed wasn't available.  

He retro-fitted a different motor into the fan housing which took quite a bit of time, and could have hardly been worth his time considering the low rate that he charged me, yet he did not utter a word about it and did it with a cheerful attitude.  Will definitely use him again and I hope I can award him a bigger job next time.

I have used them a few times. They are punctual and always do the work as expected. It is a pleasure to work with them.

Super professional service and a very clean install. I couldn't be happier with the job done on my Tesla wall charger install!
