Established in 2013.
The business became official in 2013 but Pete has been working with electrical for over 40 years now. Josh has been in the industry for over 15 years now as well. We started the business after being able to solve problems nobody else could and provide pricing that was fair for the workload.

Inspired to start the business because I have always helped people. I was a master tech for GM for 30 years and one of the only sharp shooters in the country. I fixed the problems that nobody else could and that is what I continue to do.

I wish I could give more than five stars. Josh and Pete were excellent in all the ways that I rate contractors.
We just had an outdoor spa remodeled including a new spa light. The spa company installed it and it didn't work. Their maintenance person noticed that we had a faulty GFI so we had him replace it. The light kept tripping the new GFI so the spa company told us this afternoon that we need an electrician.
We're about to sign off on the completion so we wanted to have this looked at quickly. I contacted JPS via text message and gave the location of the property in Newport Beach. Josh responded within minutes. Serendipitously they were just finishing a project across the bay so were able to come within 15 minutes. They found that the new GFI breaker was not wired properly -- The neutral wire was not properly hooked up. After finding the problem, they fixed it within 5 to 10 minutes.
Both Josh and Pete were very professional, quick responding and very personable. Their fee was very reasonable. I will definitely be using them again.
A circuit went out over the holidays and Josh's team were able to come out within 24 hours and fix the issue. Very prompt diagnosis and affordable prices.
Also had them install several smart home light switches while onsite and got everything done within a couple of hours.
I highly recommend Josh and the JPS team. We have used them several times now and will continue in future for any electrical issues

I reached out to 8 different electricians to install a level 2 charger in my garage for my EV. JPS Electrical Solutions we're the most diligent and prompt with their responses. On the day of install Josh and Pete of JPS arrived early and went straight to work. After the process was done they tested the outlet to reflect the 240 bolts that was expected from the install.
Couldn't be happier with the services JPS provided. Josh and Pete were responsive, timely, and they did my EV charger installation (which was not simple/easy given the setup of my house) for roughly half of what was offered by other electrical companies. Very knowledgeable, practical, and experienced. Would highly recommend to others.
I had Josh setup a floodlight on my side yard and my experience was all around great. He arrived on time and finished the job quickly with no surprises. His price was reasonable as well. Would work with him again on electrical needs.
Josh and Angel did a great job installing a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my house for my EV. The distance from the panel to where I wanted the outlet was 70-80 feet when routing it through the attic. Josh was very responsive and had the best price when I was shopping around. I would highly recommend him.

Dealt with Josh via Yelp chat, although we never got the chance to meet, I had the pleasure of meeting his father Pete who did the work on my home swapping an old and original 60's breaker for a new 200a while running a 14-50 nema to my garage.
Pete was honest, professional, ontime and reliable. His team was quick and was an absolute pleasure to deal with.

First, they tried to help me by phone, so I wouldn't even need to hire them, which I really appreciated. Then they were very responsive and able to come fairly quickly. At my home they solved all my problems quickly and effectively. The price was reasonable and overall I was very happy.
Needed an electrician for 2 jobs and submitted a request on Yelp. Josh was first to text me directly and co firm availability.
Josh and Pete showed up the next day and were great. I had them go to the other job the next day and they were awesome. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Home renovations and repairs are stressful! Out of the entire process, I am so GLAD I found JPS Electrical. Josh has been so responsive since day 1 answering all my questions. (And I had a lot). I recently had the pleasure of hiring JPS Electrical Solutions to replace our entire breaker box and electrical panel in our home. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and stress-free. After the recent power outages in Huntington Beach, the busbar in our breaker box got damaged. These guys were able to provide us with a consultation, explained what needed to be replaced, and they were patient in answering all of our questions. The actual installation process was incredibly efficient. We were impressed with the attention to detail and making sure that everything properly worked. After the installation was complete, we got a thorough walkthrough of the new breaker box and they explained every little detail to us in case of an emergency. They were also available for follow-up questions. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the work they did. They were professional, knew what they were doing, and just friendly people to have around. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of an electrician!
I needed 4 ceiling fans installed. These guys showed up on time and were very efficient. JPS quoted less than other companies. Will definitely recommend and hire them again.
My hot water heater went out and we had to tear out a wall to remove it. We decided to install a tankless and were told we needed an outlet (in the attic). We were desperate as we hadn't had hot water for 36 hours and really wanted to shower. I reached out to several contractors via YELP and had many quick replies.
JPS was the first to reply and they confirmed immediately that they could come out within a few hours. While others were responsive, JPS fit us in.
They were professional, courteous, and reasonably priced. I have several other upcoming electrical needs. I will absolutely call them.

Josh and his dad Pete are very friendly and professional. They're prompt in their communication and follow up lots! Due to scheduling conflicts we weren't able to contract them but I'm sure they would have done a great job. Estimated prices were reasonable.
Josh was very responsive over Yelp messages. He was able to answer my questions about the type of equipment I wanted to replace my failed safety cutoff switch. I chatted with him while he worked and he was personable and didn't seem to mind talking with me. Our discussion reassured me that he knew exactly what he was doing. SUPER pleased with this company! I received a quick response with a ballpark estimate on an outlet move in our bathroom. Josh came out within a few hours, moved the outlet, replaced the outlet with a new GFCI one and charged me exactly what he estimated. I will definitely be calling again for our electrical needs.
JPS came out on short notice to address out outlet issues. When it could not be found the first night they came out with a larger team the next working day and took care of it quickly.

JPS Electrical Solutions is a great company to work with and I appreciate their commitment to customer service. In February 2022 I needed a few breakers replaced on my panel - I called in the morning and they were at my house that afternoon to complete the job. They were quick, professional, and did a great job at a great price. Most recently, I called about another problem, tracing down an electrical short that. Once again, they responded quickly and got the job done in less than a half hour!

JPS Electrical Solutions is one of the best sub contractors that I have ever dealt with. They showed up early and began their due diligence to locate the problem. They very quickly isolated the issue and fixed it within 15 minutes. I felt like their approach to solving the issue was very thorough and timely. I had called Powers Electrical out to look at the same problem the day before and found them to be rip off artist. Without even doing any real due diligence they tried to quote me a price of $2,850.00 that was completely out of line for the repair. JPS solutions price was greater than a $2,000.00 savings.
Thanks to Josh and Pete for their timely repair and treating me like a customer should be treated. I would highly recommend JPS Electric.

I requested a quote for a Tesla Wall Connector install and received a very reasonable quote within an hour. I was also able to schedule the install for the same day. Plus, the on-site team was amazing and talked me through the install process. I highly recommend them.
I needed a help from the electrician since there has been power shortage with damages to outlet and possibly circuit breaker. JPS Team had best communication and they very reasonably priced that was disclosed up front. Our electrical problems were solved quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend them for your next repair or installation that require electrician.
The power in one section of our home would turn off then come back on intermittently. It was critical that we looked for the problem while our power was out. Pete responded quickly to my request and came out on a Saturday to investigate, even though they were not working that day.
Pete is awesome. He listened to what we tried already, asked a lot of questions and tested numerous theories. Bottom line: He fixed the problem that day, did it with a smile and priced it reasonably.
I can't give him a higher recommendation.

I work with a commercial real estate company heading office buildouts. I work with a lot of electrical contractors and Josh with JPS Electrical Solutions is definitely one of the best. He gets pricing back quickly, follows up, and offers great advice. Though I had Josh on a small office buildout, he dotted his i's and crossed his t's. Definitely would recommend JPS Electrical Solutions to anyone needing electrical work, big or small.
These are the kind of men you stay away from and do not do business with. This business is run by a father and son who are extremely rude and have no respect for your belongings. They overcharge and lie at any cost. The father Pete became extremely argumentative towards me to the point where I was about to call the cops and was scared for my life when I told them I did not want them to go through with the backyard Project I had a line for them because of their lack for respect for my plants in their overall attitudes and then the price they wanted to charge me. Please please do not make the same mistake as I did and call a company that is professional and has a big name such as Boyer, that can be trusted If something goes wrong. I have never experienced anything like this in my life.

I was so pleased with the fast response and great price I was charged for replacement of many outlets in my home. They were very efficient, friendly and went the extra mile for us. They replaced a light bulb in stairway that we could not do.

I requested a quote here for A Tesla home EV charging station and they offered the lowest rate, we communicated over text to get a little bit of clarification about the breakers and panel, etc which was fairly less complicated than what Tesla would ask. They confirmed their quote and scheduled a day to meet which was ok for me, on the day before confirmed our meeting time. On the installation day they txt me that they are there a little bit earlier and ready whenever i am. In less that an hour my charger was installed and charging the car. Very professional and prepared for the job with all toolset. Highly recommend. I used their service in Tustin Lennar

Extremely quick response and estimate given when contacted through Yelp. One of my outlets became fried and smoke was emitting (also some sparks) and decided to turn to Yelp for some help from an electrician. I decided to go with JPS mainly because of responsiveness and fair pricing, as well as how quickly they were willing to show up for an appointment. Within 12 hours of my outlet incident, Josh came by to address the issue and even showed me the neutral wires that were burned through. He also identified the outlets on the same circuit and did some rewiring to accommodate the load (at least from my understanding). He was also transparent with the work he was doing, such as showing me the wiring and explaining the type of wiring material used in my outlets.
Overall, I'm glad to have the issue be addressed in such a short amount of time and Josh was definitely accommodating with my schedule. Just hoping I don't somehow fry my outlet again...

Josh and his team were great! They were professional, on time and did a great job. I would definitely recommend them.
We woke up to an outlet that was shooting sparks. My wife found JPS Electrical and shortly Pete arrived. He was professional, thorough and expedient. We will be using JPS for all of our electrical needs.
I got a quick response to my online inquiry with a request for clarification so they could better scope the problem.

Peter and and Josh really helped me out with my bad breakers, which were preventing our water heater from being powered. They first offered to just facetime me to diagnose the issue, and then they came out to my house late on a Saturday night to do the fix! Same day even! Now I can take a nice hot shower before bed.
Highly recommend them, and I'll be contacting them again for our next electrical issue for sure!

Pete came and looked at my project same day, gave me a very reasonable project estimate (half of another company's estimate), and also gave some good advice for a room fan. They scheduled me for 2 weeks later and completed my recessed lighting project in less than 3 hours. The lights look great and were a perfect solution for my dark living room! I don't normally leave reviews but I really wanted to for my experience with Pete and JPS Electrical. All the electrical outlets in our bedroom went out and the problem wasn't as simple as checking a breaker on the panel. So I called Pete and he came by really fast, he found that the wire to one of the outlets was fried. He replaced the wires and upgraded the outlet to a commercial grade one (at no cost). He was in and out in less than 1 hr, he left the house spotless and the fee was MUCH lower than I was anticipating. I love that he didn't try to exaggerate the problem or spend hours and hours trying to find the problem. Pete is incredibly knowledgable, professional and kind and I can't imagine ever calling anyone else. Thank you Pete!
Had a very simple and basic electrical issue that needed to be fixed. JPS responded immediately, Their online quote was right in line with most other electrical companies and they came out the same day. I needed a ceiling fan and bathroom vanity light fixture installed. In chatting with Josh over Yelp Chat, he was able to help me the very next day. Two electricians showed up and in less than an hour, completed the work and cleaned up the area. I will definitely recommend and use JPS again.
JPS has help us two times. One to install a outlet outside so i can plug a sprinkler timer in and the other time to replace some outlets and switches inside our houses. Both times JPS responded timely and did great work. I feel comfortable going forward that they will be my go to company for electrical needs.

Don't use this company! Poor communication and doesn't do the job they were hired to do! I contacted them to have a hardwired LED mirror installed and they only did half the job. I called the owner Josh while his employee was still at my home and he was combative and aggressive with me, wanting to argue instead of coming up with a solution. He tried to tell me that their company couldn't install my mirror, because they don't do ONLY AFTER half the work was done. Multiple holes were left in 2 of my walls that I was told I need to hire a dry-wall company to repair (which was never discussed) and a third company needs to be hired to install the mirror that I had hired this company to install in the first place. I promise you with the number of good companies that are out there, this company isn't worth the headache.
Pete and Josh are doing excellent work! The team is very reliable, dependable and are fully conscientious about their wok. Josh even spent his Labor Day doing the estimate for his customers!

I sent out a request for a quote on Yelp to a few electricians in my area. We have been having an electrical issue at my office for weeks and couldn't figure out what was the problem!

Needed an gfci outlet installed quick so I could surprise my wife with a Toto wash let bidet for Mother's Day. He was very responsive and asked all the right questions and gave a very fair price.
Came right on schedule as promised and knocked it out in about 30 minutes. He cleaned up after the project. I would hire Josh again
I wanted to add an outlet in the garage for my EV and another in the bathroom. JPS was the first to respond to my request and gave the most competitive quote. They did the job great and repaired the drywall they had to cut in order to install the EV outlet. Would definitely recommend.

Very responsive and helpful. We had a thermostat and outlets go out and were asking for urgent help. Josh responded quickly, texting me back while on another job, from somebody's attic at one point because I kept texting him. They gave me up front rates and due to their responsiveness and commitment to time frame, I turned down others notified by yelp.
Pete came out for troubleshooting and quickly found it was an older breaker that had to be replaced. Josh had the part, and drove the part to us to dramatically shorten the window of time to find another. Meanwhile Pete checked outlets for short and gave me great advice to prevent what happened. I had no problem tipping them for the quick but thorough review while the part was quickly driven to my house.
I would highly recommend their services, and plan to keep them at the top of our list for any future electrical work or improvements. Awesome job.

I just hired Josh Selley for a NEMA 14-50 outlet installation. This outlet is meant for EV charging. Josh responded to my inquiry really fast, and happened to have open slots on the same day of my inquiry. He knows exactly what I want after my quick description and gives me the quote immediately. His price is also the most competitive one in the market after a few inquiries with others.
Other than the outlet installation, he also helped me out with security camera installation that involves going hardwired so it's easy to maintain in the future.

We moved house. The new one did have an old power outlet for the dryer. I reached out to JPS via Yelp to exchange the outlet. They were able to come the very next day. They conducted the repair fast, they knew what they are doing. The compensation was reasonable. I did not get the feeling of being overcharged. They do not accept cards, only cash or checks. JPS is now my go-to company for electrical projects.

I love their service.
They helped me install an electric plug for my car. They made a mistake on the plug. ( ** Who doesn't make mistake. **) I called them 2 days after in the evening because I just found out the problem. They were willing to come back in half an hour to fix the problem.

These days, the best we can hope for is help from businesses that are honest and friendly with a great price to boot. JPS Electrical Solutions is just that. We had a situation where using a vacuum cut power to an entire room and one adjacent room. We called JPS in the morning to make an appointment for the afternoon and Pete came to the house right on time.
He kindly walked us through everything he was doing and showed us exactly where the heart of the problem was. He fixed the trouble outlet for us in a matter of minutes and we were back up and running in no time. We had a great experience with Pete and we think you will too. Highly recommend!

I needed someone to come out on short notice to install new recessed lights in a few rooms before I had drywall coming in. Josh answered my request within a few minutes, took my details over the phone and quoted me right then! Pete and Josh both arrived the next morning at the time they said they would, went over the work with me and explained timelines and expectations. They installed all the lights exactly how I wanted, and took time to explain placement and switch functionality. We also decided to install Lutron Caseta smart switches for all new lights, and also replace existing dimmers throughout the house to match functionality. Josh and Pete took the added time to care for the littlest of details on their craft but also to both explain the Caseta switches and help set them up. Top of the line service, and I plan to have them out for future projects this year.

Josh and his team are super reliable. They dropped a coax cable so I could get hard-wired internet in a specific area of my home. They also put in modern recess lighting throughout the home.
They are now my go-to for anything electrical.
Been looking to get electrical service for our AC unit for a while , josh and his team were excellent providing service, fast and fair quote and answering all my questions , he also recommended me an AC company and I ended up going with them as well and couldn't be happier after of years or trying to get ac at my home . Will definitely use his services again on any electrical issues. Highly recommended
Pete was wonderful and came to our home on his day off to help with our outage issue. He was prompt, responsive, and courteous.
We had an electrical issue on a tenant occupied 8 unit building on a Saturday. Tenants had varying degrees of power outages within the units and no hot water. JPS was the only company willing to go out. They got the issue resolved quickly and efficiently. When another problem cropped up just a couple days later, they promptly returned and when it was determined that it was an SCE issue, they waited for the technician to arrive and made sure the problem was fully resolved before leaving. I could not recommend them any higher.
Good luck trying to schedule a service with them. Email communication is quick, however Pete expects customers to accommodate to HIS schedule and asks customers to try back at a later DAY. After attempting to schedule a repair with this company for several days, I finally gave up and decided to go with a different company. PETE has no customer service skills at all
UPDATE: I originally contacted this company through Yelp requesting a quote to fix a wobbly ceiling fan and install a smart switch. Josh gave me a phone number to call and schedule an appointment. Every time I called Pete answered the phone and told me he was at a job site or in a meeting. Pete, who I found out is Josh's father did not offer to give me a call back or ask for my number and have Josh call me. Now Josh is claiming My review is fake. SMH that says a lot about a company

I needed a simple Tesla outlet installed. Reached out to vendors via Yelp and Craigslist. I gave the vendors that had a Yelp presence more serious consideration because their performance is verifiable. JPS was one of the quicker companies to respond. +1. I asked a few questions and they were continued to communicate well. +1. Price wasn't the lowest, but was the lowest among other electricians with an awesome rating. Scheduled appointment easily. They communicated about an hour before coming over. +5. Did the work I needed. +50. Was professional. +1. Was fast. +1. Clean +1. I would hire them again. For sure.
These guys were prompt, professional, friendly, and prices services reasonably. I highly recommend these guys for all your electrical needs. Abatement process destroyed everything and had to replace everything in the bathroom. These guys did excellent work at a very reasonable price. Thanks again.

I needed to install a 30 amp RV plug for the house off the main panel. I asked JPS for a quote and had a quick reply, reasonable quote, and easy scheduling. They came out on time and were friendly with no sales pitch and went right to work. The plug was installed exactly where I needed it and done clean - best of all it worked perfectly.
I will definitely call JPS again with any of my electrical needs! What more could you ask for in an electrician - in time and courteous with quick and professional work checks all the boxes for me and my family!

This company is so unprofessional and rude it's crazy..I have owned multiple business and worked with 100s of businesses my whole entire life and I've got to say the attitudes of these 2 men are the worst I've ever seen.. they are sort of manipulative and condescending in their tone ..they came out to troubleshoot some issues in my garage and ended up not being able to figure out those issues. Charged me for them to come out and got upset when I asked them to lower to service charge fee..they said it was my fault what I had done to the garage to make it like this and that I was wasting their time..everything from the moment they entered my home to when they left seemed to be my fault..and the problem still wasn't solved when they left, I was overcharged and mistreated..definitely never want to experience anything like this ever again..or have anybody else go through the same thing..take my advice and STEER CLEAR from these men..
Was able to come by within 20 minutes of messaging on Yelp. Provided great service lots of experience. My issue had to do with a breaker box from the early 1900's and they provided great service to get me back up and running.
When I was searching for someone to install my Tesla charger, I got a ton of quotes. JPS solutions was the quickest to respond and got me scheduled right away at a fair price. I would recommend them to anyone looking for any electrical work.

I found Josh and yelp and he got back to me right away, was friendly and knowledgeable. He moved his schedule around to make sure he was in the area while I coordinated with getting him access to the residence. From the time I called until the time Josh was on site was only about an hour, he was extremely efficient and able to diagnose the problem right away. I highly recommend JPS Electrical Solutions for all residential electrical issues, I will definitely be calling him again for any future needs!

I needed electrical installed for a new outlet and ceiling fan. I had gotten a couple of electrician recommendations from my neighbors, but they were scheduling two to three weeks out. I contacted JPS Electrical Solutions Josh (owner) answered my call, was willing to discuss the electrical work I needed over the phone. I found Josh to be knowledgable about electrical work. He gave me an estimate of the cost (the quote was very reasonable) over the phone and was able to work our job into his schedule in a few days.
Josh and his father came out (they arrived early). They were professional, courteous, friendly, efficient and cleaned up afterwards. They got the work done in a couple of hours with as minimal amount of cutting into our drywall as possible.

Great service, quick response. It was Saturday; somehow, power issues always happen on Saturday and mostly nobody is available, or want to charge you triple to show up. JPS is awesome. We had some outlets out and they were super honest about not coming up with any new things to be replaced. For the original visitation to do estimate, they actually had everything fixed within 30 minutes. Called originally at 730. Everything was fixed and running by 10.

While others wanted me to explain what's wrong and send pictures and would be out the following week, this company came out and fixed the problem while I was still trying to get pics and info for others. Solved the problem and was a fair price. Couldn't ask for anything more. Job done in 30 mins.

I contacted four other electricians. After I send them the pictures of my project, all of them said the ceiling drywall will be damaged because they have to shift the power source to the middle of my table. I was priced from $300 to $950, plus I had to get a handyman to patch up the drywall.
Josh gave me a $200 quote plus no drywall damage. He gave me a window of arrival and actually show up a little early. Josh and Pete moved the table and covered the floor. They were precise on the measurement and done in about two hours. They moved everything back and cleaned up the work. They did a great job, and as promised, no drywall damage.
I already have three other projects in mind for Josh and Pete. Nothing but praises for the father and son team.

I had a problem with my lights and asked for help and a quote. Rather than charge me the owner told me to return my product and switch it out for a new one and then we could continue this later rather than coming out to charge me (like a lot of other companies said). He was honest and saved me some money now I have lights! I recommend him as the owner is honest (something you don't see anymore). I got 5 quotes telling me it was a breaker box and such and how much it would cost.
If I ever have electrical problems, u can bet I'll be calling this company to come out and fix it. A+

Great communication, on time, efficient, reasonable prices, very professional.
I texted Pete in the morning to make an appointment to fix some of our GFI electrical outlets. He was here the same day at 3 pm and looked at my sockets in the house and in the back yard.
He and Josh switched out a bunch of sockets in record time and we have all our electrical working again. It feels like new again!
Pete and Josh gave me some great suggestions for automating /controlling our lights in the house.

Josh and his team did an excellent job! They were responsive to my request, showed up early, and got the job done. We had some minor work done rewiring an outlet and hanging a fan. They are professional and kind. The initial quote was the final charge. Would highly recommend!
I was putting in a garbage disposal and had to cut off electric. When I switched back on, nothing. I called Pete and he came in an hour and informed me the whole box was a mess. He quickly fixed and had electric back on in no time. He was so nice and really informative. He even waited while I finished to make sure everything was in working order before he left. Thanks again.
Did an amazing job. Initially I had a different company come out that I found on yelp. Other company had a Perfect 5 start with great reviews. However, they turned out to be a total nightmare... He are the quick facts:
Other company:
- spent 5hrs at my house removing all the outlet covers trying to figure out why all the outlets weren't working. He went in the attic and poked around everywhere but couldn't find the issue. Finally he tells me he has to run MC cable on outside of my house to provide the neutral whatever that means... he was pretty much at my house half of the day and nothing really got done. Finally after he left, he sent me a proposal with costs and time it would take to fix everything. He said another 5hrs... so I started asking him questions and he instantly got extremely defensive and said I'm not going to finish the job, please pay me for the 1st day but I told him that we had agreed to pay once all jobs were completed. He got upset and said he's taking me to small claims court and that's where we went our ways.

- came out and fixed everything in 1hr. He didn't even have to run no cables outside of home. He simply fixed everything from our attic. JPS pretty much saves me about $400-500.

I called Josh on very short notice to fix a few minor issues in my home. He responded quickly and was willing to come out and help.
Josh and his partner arrived early and took care of business. Their price was fair and I was treated well. Sometimes electricians can get arrogant; JPS was not. Just kind and helpful.
I'll use JPS again as my go-to electricians.
I needed someone to install a ceiling light with fan. My colleagues JPS to me. They came on time and finished the work promptly, and they actually swept the floor before they left. I will definitely call them up again if electrical work is needed.

They were ok. I could of done better searching but they were the first ones to call back. Really cool guys. $975 they charged me for installing one ceiling fan I bought w/ new wiring. 2 recessed lights w/ new wiring. Wired a light I bought on top of vanity. Wired and installed a new Panasonic exhaust fan in the bathroom. Also wired another room for me to install a ceiling fan myself. No biggie. They did me a small favor and checked out an outlet I had in my second home. Which was just downstairs. Wasn't able to get fixed. No biggie. Not sure if they charged me for that.
Apparently some one had canceled on them the day they came out. So they took me in last minute, sort of. They seemed a bit rushed almost towards the end. Didn't patch up any of the holes they made. I patched them up my self. Found a guy this week, said he would of done it for $650. Not sure if I got jipped on this one. Oh well. Better luck next tim
JPS provides excellent, honest and thorough service. Josh provided a detailed estimate. The work was more complicated than he realized., but Josh stood by his estimate. They made every effort to make sure I was happy with the final product and I am thrilled! I highly recommend JPS!

Thanks Josh for coming out same day within a couple hours. My plug for my dryer wasn't working and a gfi plug in the kitchen, Josh came out and had it fixed within the time and amount estimated. Very friendly, reasonable pricing, and he even wiped the counter after he was done.
I asked for quotes on Yelp to have a chandelier put in. Josh was the first to respond, and was far lower than the other estimates. He came out the same day with his dad, and they replaced the chandelier and also fixed a bathroom light, and diagnosed that a different bathroom fan was broken.
Overall very good prices, responsive, and high quality work. Will definitely use them again for any electrical needs!

Very personable and helpful, teaching me something about wiring while diagnosing the problem (which was as simple as attaching two neutral wires inside the box together - I just didn't know it was necessary for them to be touching). Installed a smart-switch, which is what I had been trying to do when the problem arose. Took all of 15 minutes. My only reason for 4-stars instead of 5 was that the estimate was reasonable if real repairs needed to be made, but a bit high for the actual work that was done. I would use again but would be more specific about the actual cost of the work beforehand.

Josh was one of the first to answer my quote request, offered the best price, and was kind enough to call and have me do a quick troubleshoot to make sure that the issue wasn't something that was simple and could be solved without him coming out and charging for a service call. When it was determined there was an issue, Josh made an appointment at my desired date, and showed up early the day of. He troubleshot the issue and found the issue after probably no more than 30 minutes and quickly fixed the issue. Would definitely recommend JPS to any friend needing electrical work.
These guys were right on time and efficient. Replaced under cabinet lights and old recessed cans. Excellent job, fair pricing and efficient work.

Nothing but 5 stars for JPS! Pete and Josh are as good as it gets. Prompt, professional, courteous with fair pricing and they 100% communicate with you on what they see and what's needs to be done. When it comes to any jobs or issues in the future, JPS will be the guys who I call.
My wife and I reside in Coto De Caza and we cannot say enough about Josh, his father Pete and crew. I explained to Josh all the various electrical things I needed, he asked for a description, was very responsive and prompt in getting back to me. He gave me a quote and had a reschedule the same day and he and the crew came out and tackled the entire job in one day. Very clean, professional and they love the Lord as well which was a bonus for us.

Just had these guys come out and upgrade the lighting my shop. Fast and efficient, exactly what I was looking for. No bs, no upcharge for little things, nothing. Price was exactly what was quoted. I would highly recommend JPS to anyone! We requested an in office visit to check out the job, Josh arrived prompt and on time that afternoon. He was upfront an honest about what needed to be done. Two days later they came back at 9 am sharp (on time) and completed the work. They went the extra mile and checked every light fixture in the office. By doing so they helped prevent us from what could have been an electrical fire. They immediately fixed the problem. The lights look great and we couldn't be happier. Bottom line these are good friendly people doing great work!

I had a pleasure seeing how hardworking professionals should do this type of work :) they came in at 9 am and left 11 hours later for installing 4 fans. I know 4 fans are ridiculously easy but it's hard work as our house did not come without setbacks.. in every step of the way that they encounter an issue, they have shown patience and most of all honesty . Very pleased with the service. I had some lights that weren't working, I called Jps electrical solutions and spoke to Josh. They fixed the light problem the same day in about 30 seconds and didn't charge me because it was so simple. I also had someone questions about some putting can lights on my vaulted ceiling. I was previously told this couldn't be done by 2 other electricians because of no attic. Josh checked it out and installed 6 recessed lights up there, I'm so happy they were able to do this. This is my first review as I have never had to utilized a contractor before. I reached out to Josh to have my lights swapped from 4pin cfl to standard sockets. I have 12ft ceilings with the annoying 4 pin cfl bulbs and wanted to swap out the whole thing.
The existing cans turned out to be 5 instead of 6 which would have required a custom order to replace them. Josh said we could either do that or put in led's which are easier to obtain. I wanted my lights done today so I decided to go with the led's. His dad made a run for the lights while josh prepared the wiring and in the process uncovered some shortcuts the builder made when putting in the recessed lighting. It made the job much harder for this father and son team but they were able to figure it out. I'm really glad we ended up going with the led's because they look amazing. Josh was very responsive during the quotation process and they showed up right on time for the appointment. Great service and highly recommended
I was having issues with my breaker for my water heater. I messaged them this morning on yelp and got a response immediately. Every other place I reached out too was booked out and not willing to help. Although JPS was also quite busy they sympathized with my no hot water situation and came out same evening. Had a fan and a chandelier installed. Took some time but incredible work. Very pleased.
Sent out a quote request on yelp and Josh called me within minutes. He was able to come the same day and fixed our exhaust hood within minutes. JPS (Josh) swapped out all my old lights with LED lights, changed my island pendants and outdoor lights and hooked me up with Lutron so I can do everything from my phone or with Alexa. They did a great job and were very nice and super knowledgeable about the latest gadgets and apps available. I would highly recommend them.

I had a rush job and they were the first to respond. They did a fine job, had good ideas, professional work and good personalities.
I rarely give a bad review but when I deal with unreliable people, I am obligated to do so. After confirming the appointment for Wednesday morning at 8:30am and taking a half day off to install a light fixture. The electrician failed to notify me that they were running late and didn't correspond with me until I texted him. He apologized for being busy (which I understand but Not my problem) and told me he would come 2 hours later which I couldn't do since I needed to go back to work. He offered to come at another day and would give me a discount but nonetheless, once you are an unreliable person that tells me something about you as a person and as a business person that I don't trust or want to deal with.
Phenomenal work! These guys came over to my house to finish installing and rewiring two new ceiling lighting fixtures that were left outstanding by another company. They got the work done right really fast. Their prices are excellent with great customer care. Highly recommend them!

These folks are pros. If you are looking for an electrician and you are not calling John you are not using the best experts for the job. The father and son team have pride of a professional and advise you as what is best for the customer.

We needed to some electric work at our office. We sent quote request to several companies and JPS Electrical Solutions was the first one to contact me. Josh was very friendly on the phone and tried to find out detais as much so that he could give us an quote over the phone. He was very knowledgeable and his quote was very reasonable.
His dad and he showed up on time and their work was superior and efficient.
We are very happy with the result. Now we have found Electrical company that we can call anytime when we needed.

Josh responded quickly for an estimate and the estimate was fair. I then messaged him for a date. He said he would check his schedule and he would get back to me ASAP. I waited 3-4 hours and never heard from him. I then messaged and asked him if he was too busy I would contract with someone else. He then gave me a date in 3-4 days which was agreeable to me. I called him 15 minutes past the time he was suppose to arrive. He said he had a delay and he had left a voice mail for my wife. My wife had no voice mail. He said he could still do my job in 2-2 1/2 hours which I agreed to. He still hadn't arrived at my house 3 hours later. I called him multiple times over the next 30 minutes without him answering. I then left a voice that he was cancelled. He finally called back and offered me 10% off and he could do the work the next business day. I was very disappointed with his communication and seemed unreliable so I cancelled him. Ask him for his contractor's license and make sure you verify before hiring...BEWARE!!!
Josh's response is filled with multiple inaccuracies. Firstly, I left both my wife's and my cell phones. There was no voice mail left on either cell phone number. Secondly, I was told that you would be there between 4-4:30 and not 4:30-5:30. Good will is based on honesty. In retrospect I'm glad you didn't perform my job.

Came out for a (very reasonable) quote on Monday and recessed lighting was switched out in the living room and newly installed in the kitchen on Thursday, in less than 4 hours. Would definitely recommend.
Josh is very prompt and professional, you will not be disappointed in using JPS for all your electrical needs.
Josh and Pete installed outdoor waterproof outlets and LED lights for my front and backyard. Awesome job, clean and affordable.

Great company! They were the first ones to respond to our request for an estimate during the weekend. They made it quick and easy to install the outlet for our electric car charger. They came a couple hours later than the appointment time due to traffic, but overall very good service.

Josh responded to a quote request when we had a power outage in 1 room of our home that the breaker would not reset. Josh got back to me within minutes with a quote. Josh kept in communication and was able to come to the house within the next day. He was on time, quick to assess the situation and was able to be in and out within minutes. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. We had a difficult situation with lots of guests arriving in a few days when our stove died. We bought a new one which was promptly delivered. However the installers refused to connect it as the old one was hard.wired to the wall. Pete at JPS came within a few hours and installed the necessary receptacle for the new stove's plug at a very reasonable price. The next day the installers from Best Buy (separate one star review) again refused to install it because they don't do slide in stoves!! Once again, Pete came to the rescue and hooked up the stove even doing the necessary modifications of the space. Service was quick, expert, reasonably priced. Cheers for JPS.

Josh and Pete were great! They responded quickly to my quote request, showed up on time, did a great clean job and were the most affordable price I received. We'll definitely use these guys again for any future repairs or installations.
These guys are awesome! The project was to install a ceiling fan and another light fixture. The ceiling fan project was a little more than they bargained for - we had a medallion on the ceiling with the other light fixture that needed to come down. Sounds pretty simple but the previous contractor glued it to the ceiling! Josh got the medallion down with quite a bit of effort, although they did tell me what it would cost before they did it. They also had to do something else (technical :) ) so that the ceiling fan would be secure. They installed the other fixture fairly quickly and looked at another issue that turned out we had the wrong size light bulb in the fixture. Quick, easy, and reasonable price. These guys are awesome!

Lost power to several outlets at midnight on a Saturday night. Josh came out just after 7 AM Sunday morning. Found the bad outlet and replaced it and another in the bathroom that was arcing. Amazing response at a more than fair price for a Sunday service call. These are the guys to call!

Needed a 240V outlet with a 50 amp circuit installed in my garage for an EV. I called JPS Electrical Solutions and they were able to come out and install the outlet within a few days. Josh and Pete was upfront with their quote and are a pleasure to work with. Job was completed successfully and could not be happier with the service I received. Couldn't be happier with the services provided by this company. We had an issue where several outlets on a breaker didn't work; I'd spent 3 full days trying to isolate the problem, and Pete and Josh sorted the whole issue out in no time. I'll never work on my own electrical again now that we've found this company (my wife is so relieved). Very professional and fairly priced.

What a resource JPS Electrical solutions is! My husband and I are property investors and I own a local design company. JPS is my go to for any electrical need. I can count on them to show up on time, clearly communicate, and the project fees are consistent with no surprises! I tend to be a protective gatekeeper for clients and by recommending JPS to my clients plus friends and family means they are top notch in character and service. Blessed to have them around!
We needed some exterior electrical plugs and exterior lighting installed in our home. Pete and Josh were recommended to us by some other friends. I was very impressed with there quality of work. 9-11-2017 Pete and Josh did an amazing job rewiring our pool pump and pool lights, that were installed 46 years ago. The existing wiring under the pool was in metal conduit, which eventually rusted holes in the metal, the water shorted out the wiring to our beautiful pool. We had contacted several electricians to get estimates, they were about two thirds more in cost then JPS ELECTRICAL SOLUTIONS. Pete and Josh was referred to us from our Pastor. Pete and Josh are doing major electrical work at our 15,000 square foot Church, located in Huntington Beach, California. Their pricing was very reasonable, they work very hard until the job is done. In fact, I had to ask them to take a break to drink some cold bottled water that I gave them. They did NOT want to stop their work, but I insisted, they finally took a 5 minute break. All of their work is guaranteed for one year. I would referred them to whoever is looking for excellent electricians that charge a fair price.
