Best Electricians in United States

Jesus and United Electric really saved the day this week.  My wall oven finally arrived but the installers said that my wiring was not correct.  They refused to install because it was a fire hazard.  After doing some research, I understand that the correct way is to use a metal box that the whip from the oven can be safely attached.  The installers were right and I knew I needed an electrician fast.

I called United Electric in the morning and Jesus responded via text almost immediately.  He gave me an estimate which was reasonable and arranged to show up at 10 am the same day.  Jesus texted when he was on his way and showed up early.  He took care of everything and even patched the old holes where the previous box was.  The work was very professional and they cleaned up well.  

The following day, I texted Jesus to ask if he could help test the circuit to make sure it is working since I have never seen it tested.  Jesus quickly responded and arranged a time to show up to test.  He did not charge me for this house call and was very pleasant to work with.  

I'm very excited to have found Jesus and United Electric in our neighborhood.  I will have more work for him in the future!

H&H replaced our landscape lighting with a new system that has made a huge difference in terms of aesthetics and efficiency.  Would definitely recommend them.

Rory helped me with a project I had. I needed to upgrade 4 extraction fans. I managed to wire 2 units just fine, but the second unit containing the other 2 fans would not power up. I sent him a video, he said it's not his expertise but the video was helpful and can take look at it. We quickly booked an appointment and upon arrival he got everything operating in an hour. His rates were very reasonable and I now have a local electrician that I will use again in the future.

In contractors I'm looking for someone who I can hand the work off to when I'm not even home and they can deliver excellent service. Frank and his team definitely are at this level. We hired them to install an outlet in the bathroom as well as install an outlet where the old stove was somehow plugged-in behind the drywall (1981 construction).

In both cases they were quick and cleaned up any mess or drywall dust. I was not explicitly told to expect to repair a drywall cut, but it was clearly something I was working on in the bathroom (with drywall mud and drywall pieces I had out). Informing less-handy folk about this ahead of time would be appreciated.

Either way, any time we need electrical work, I'm calling Frank Electric.

Wow, what a great choice!  The reviews are definitely spot on.  Romo quickly responded to my call and in a matter of hours arrived to perform an inspection and diagnose my needs.  We agreed on scope and cost and he and his team arrived the next morning to address several wiring issues and install a new panel, a few three way lights, and a new bathroom exhaust fan.  Romo and team were courteous and professional and the service they performed was absolutely top-notch and reasonably priced.  I won't hesitate to use them again.  I highly recommend them.

Jose's knowledge and work ethic is rare to come by. I opened up a new restaurant needing some extensive work done. He did what was needed to get everything in place and working. It took a lot of skill and to recognize the root of the issues. I am extremely pleased and happy to know a trusted electrician. He is the best!

Great work from Chris and Justin who took care of my dual meter and 200amp service upgrade project for my rental property that I added a detached ADU. They did all the scheduling with SDG&E and city inspector. Their work passed the city inspection and now I got my 2 meters and a subpanel inside the garage that they transferred all the circuit from the old panel. They also gave me the lowest bid out of 5 contractors I contacted. Very professional and have all the materials ready when all the other contractors telling me that what I needed for the project are backordered.  Will definitely use them again for any future electrical projects. Dean was awesome! Very professional and provided great service. I had melted electrical wires that were starting to catch fire! Dean came and fix the problem and it only took him about 2hrs. Thank you.

These guys are great! I called Kevin about replacing the bathroom exhaust fan that had damaged ceiling surrounding it. He advised me to install the fan first in order not to damage the new drywall and gave me other recommendations that other electricians failed to mention. He scheduled  Josh to come out two days later. Josh came on time and did the job in about an hour. I highly recommend this company! Thanks Kevin and Josh!

I called Point Loma Electric to come and fix some electrical plugs and also check 3 GFI's. Hector came out and was right on time. I told him what I wanted done and he began to check everything and gave me a quote. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was very patient with me because I was asking a lot of questions. He did the work and was very methodical in what he was doing. He double checked to make sure all is working. Hector is a class act!! Highly recommend!!!!!

Called LTE because I smelled something burning in my home. Went out to garage and found that the lights would not turn off. After a bit of investigating I finally called the first company closest to where I was staying. He responded to me within 30 min and walked me through different suggestions. Honestly, I had him going down a rabbit hole with my description and thoughts. He quickly figured out that I had a short in one of my switched and had me shut the breaker off. To some this is a no brainer. To me I would have had a three alarm fire in my home due to ignorance. LTE came out first thing in the morning, small charge and had me fixed and good to go within about 10 minutes. He was super professional and helpful. Prices are reasonable and solid work  I highly recommend

James came on Tuesday to give us an estimate for some recessed lights in our living and kitchen areas. Came that Friday and installed everything! Both rooms look great!

I even texted him that we were having issues with power on one of our wall outlets. He made time on a Saturday morning to come get it checked out and fixed it. Not even a 1 day turnaround.

Roddy responded to my Yelp request for quotes.  His price was reasonable.  He was very responsive, kept in touch while I was getting my fan, very punctual on the day of the install.  Very honest no drama solid professional.  Will definitely use his service again when there's a need.

We hired James to rewire several runs of aluminum branch wire that we discovered in our house. We chose James because he was very upfront about his pricing--we were able to use his pricing model to build an accurate quote based on exactly what we needed done.  This honest and upfront approach was refreshing compared to our other quotes that were very vague about what exactly would and would not be covered.

His prices are very reasonable for running new lines, switching out receptacles, and adding/replacing light fixtures.  We are thrilled with the results.

James was extremely efficient (done several days ahead of schedule!) and very precise. My husband is very picky about things lining up correctly, being level, etc. and James blew him away with his craftsmanship.  In fact just had people come in to give us drywall quotes and they remarked on how clean and minor the drywall holes were compared to the average electrician or plumber.  

After seeing his work we asked him to additionally redo the lighting in our garage and add new can lights to our living room and family room, all of which he was able to do while still finishing the job early.

One caveat that should be noted--if you are immunocompromised and concerned about COVID, be aware that James does not like to work with a mask on.  I am very pregnant and my hospital will consider me a high-risk pregnancy if I get COVID and will make me jump through various extra medical hoops.  Because of this, I generally tried to stay outside of the house and/or masked while James was working and this worked out fine--he was courteous about giving me plenty of space when I needed to pop in for whatever reason.

Our home needed some electrical rewiring and we also wanted to add additional lighting fixtures around the house. I called them and made an appointment and they arrived at our home as scheduled and gave us a run-down of exactly what they were going to be doing, step by step.

They made sure that we understood the entire process and were comfortable with everything (from pricing, amount of time the task would take, to what was going to be done) before they began. Their electrician was very knowledgeable and friendly.

The lights that they installed are great and they also cleaned up after themselves. Very professional and definitely a must use electrician in the San Diego area. You just cannot beat their level of service and pricing.

Greg was one of the most reliable and responsive contractors I have used. His work is excellent, he is timely, and charges fair prices. I had him put in a laundry vent, 4 bbq outlets, and garage sconces. He provided helpful information about the best and proper way to go about things in my 47yr old house.

EV Installs SD is a must for installing your EV charger. I urgently needed a Tesla charger installed ASAP since my car was delivered a month early. They came two days later on a Sunday morning and surpassed my expectations. They went over and above by installing a higher than needed amps. This would accommodate future needs of a longer range car or multiple EV cars. My sister recently used this company for her EV charger install and had a great experience as well. Thanks Edward!
