I tried to schedule an appointment to have him come and look at my home for potential electrical work, and he cancelled on me last minute, twice. Both appointments were scheduled for first thing in the morning, and I would receive a text maybe an hour before saying something came up. What's the point of making appointments if you're going to cancel them.

Good communication, prompt service, and a job well done at reasonable prices. H&H installed 4 new cans, retrofitted 2 cans for LEDs, and resolved a shorting light fixture issue for us. Would use again for any future lighting or wiring needs!

Maybe 10 or so years have gone by since Rory helped me out, but I still remember the great service I received...

I had a circuit breaker that kept blowing and it was a hassle using a tent-light in our windowless bathrooms so I needed help quick! Since I live in Poway, I wanted to get somebody local to fix my problem. It was before I knew about yelp, so found Rory Higgins BBB listing, recieved a quick response and he showed up ON-TIME the next day. Rory charged by the half-hour and found & fixed my short circuit with a GFI outlet & other parts he had on-hand in his truck in a matter of 15 minutes!

He then asked me if I had any other electrical issues since he hadn't even used up 30 minutes, so I mentioned our quirky setup of 3 different switches that all operate the same hallway light, which was annoying at times when only 1 switch would work and you never knew which one until you tried them all. He had that problem figured out & fixed in another 20 minutes or so and my price including parts + 40 minutes labor came to $68 which I thought was killer deal 10 years ago...

Rory even explained the cause of the short so if ever something similar happens again, I will be better prepared to troubleshoot or fix the situation myself. Nice guy too and didn't mind answering my questions...

Frank is awesome. He installed 6 new recessed lights and replaced 4 old ones for me. Fair pricing. Great communication. Quick to get the job done and didn't leave a spec of dust behind. Not to mention he's a very friendly guy - you'd probably want to buy him a beer once the job is done!

Chris is here as I write, hard wiring two lights in each of my daughter's rooms and already installed the canned light I wanted in my shower. This is not the first time we have used him. He is so reliable and does great work! We have a baby and he goes out of his way to work as quietly as possible while she naps. He's just a good guy. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of electrical work. The price is always right too!! I can't say enough good things about him! Lucky to have found him on home advisor a few years back.

Jesus was awesome. He showed up to my place to make confirm what needed to be done. I needed to convert a standard 110v to a 240v outlet. I was ready to cut drywall in order to do some rewiring. Jesus looked everything over and was able get I done by fishing new wires through the existing conduit. He saved me a lot of money and headache.  He did a quality job for a super competitive price. I would definitely recommend Kev Co Electric for any electrical needs.

Horrible service. Made an appointment between 8-12 a week a head of time. And called in the morning to confirm and was told the appointment was still on the schedule. No calls come noon. Called the office and the girl I spoke to was condescending stating we don't guarantee the times and expect you to go about your day and we will call you thirty to forty five minutes prior to your appointment. What is the point of scheduling a block of four hours if the appointment is any time of the day? Makes  no sense to me. The girls would give me NO estimations stating they are too busy. I then asked to speak to someone else who stated I was next in line after the person returned from lunch. What horrible communication with their clients. Especially when I had called not once but twice in the morning. Horrible service. Don't bother expecting scheduled times to be honored. They do not care about your personal needs when it comes to scheduling your day.

Pricing is the best among a dozen of quotes that I received. Looks very knowledgeable and has installed many of these.

I first contacted James to get a quote over the phone to add recessed lights and junction box for ceiling fans. Despite my small budget, James was more than happy to come out to my home and give me a free in person estimate.

After assessing the job, James not only worked with my budget, he gave me some tips on how I can easily update my existing recessed lights and replace my old outlets. He even told me where I can pick up supplies at a lesser cost. I knew right of way, James is a honest and professional businessman. He is exactly the type of person I like giving my business to. And of course, I was right!

James really takes pride in his craft and do business with integrity. He uses high quality material and pays attention to details. He takes the time to prep work areas so he can minimize dust and debris. Having a small child at home, I can't tell you how much I appreciate that. From what I understand, James is on every job, big or small. James works for himself so he makes all the decisions. No need to deal with workers who have to check with their manager/boss.

The thing I appreciate the most about James is how he values the business you give him, regardless of size. Such a refreshing change! He really goes out of his way to make sure his customers are satisfied.

If you need an energy monitoring device like the Emporia (see photos) installed, Roddy and his apprentice Vito are your guys! Roddy had not installed one of these before but came prepared and had watched the installation videos. They were fast, efficient, knowledgeable, resourceful, they did a very clean job in the panel given the octopus of wires (see photos), and they were extermely friendly and overall great to work with!  if you are searching for an electrician, stop searching and call these guys right now, you won't be disappointed!

Highly recommended, needed an EV charger installed on a cramped breaker and James got it done safely and quickly. Instant response time and was able to come out to install fast as well.

Need to install ceiling fans, and do this fast. This guys come quickly and do everything in best possible way. I really recommend them!

I am a Realtor representing a Buyer who is currently under contract for a house. Edward was very helpful and got to our project very promptly. We are expecting to receive our EV next month and needed to prepare for charging. There are some things you need to know when installing level-2 charging capability. We recommend, especially for EV charging, to use a specialist like EV Installs. Highly recommend!
