I contacted United Electric via Yelp to request an estimate for the installation of two bathroom exhaust fans. Jesus responded quickly and he gave me a very reasonable estimate. I made an appointment and he came on time within the scheduled time window. He and his colleague worked very efficiently and professionally.
I highly recommend  United Electric.

Mark did a great job on our outdoor landscape lighting project.  He showed up on time with samples of quality brass fixture lighting just like I was looking for.  His pricing was very competitive and the install was done in a couple of days.  After shopping a few others I was very happy to have chosen Mark for this project. Professional, competitively priced and  and courteous. Once my backyard pool in complete I will be hiring Mark to install the lighting there as well.

Our vacuum cleaner blew out a circuit in our home (which included our substantial office in the home).  Resetting the breaker didn't solve the problem.  Uh oh.

We called several electricians using Yelp recommendations.  Some had bad answering machines, sounded anonymous, etc.  We left messages for 4 to call us back.  Which all eventually did, but too late.

Rory Higgins (he's NOT Higgins Rory) we reached with our call to his cell phone, and he sounded competent.  He set a time he could make it (two hours to get here), then called to say his job would delay him another hour.  Showed up at the amended time, and chased the problem.  

Our house was built in Scripps Ranch in 1970 and apparently the outlets were a little substandard.  Had to check several on the ciruit to find which one had shorted (all lacked a neutral wire), and he fixed it.  He also replaced one outlet that was in bad shape.

His visit lasted a bit over an hour, and his price was QUITE reasonable.  He's now our electrician, though with luck, I'll never see him again except in Costco!  I strongly recommend Rory Higgins to others with electrical problems.

Frank diagnosed the electrical problems in our 1927 (partially remodeled) Kensington house quickly and accurately. He followed up on our phone calls and texts in a timely manner and charged a reasonable price.

Would not come out to give me an estimate without charging me 120$ because too many people stiffed him when selling their homes and only doing estimates. Not sure why he thinks others wouldn't do the same and just not tell him about selling their house. I had legitimate work and he lost out.

Jose's knowledge and work ethic is rare to come by. I opened up a new restaurant needing some extensive work done. He did what was needed to get everything in place and working. It took a lot of skill and to recognize the root of the issues. I am extremely pleased and happy to know a trusted electrician. He is the best!

Chris is here as I write, hard wiring two lights in each of my daughter's rooms and already installed the canned light I wanted in my shower. This is not the first time we have used him. He is so reliable and does great work! We have a baby and he goes out of his way to work as quietly as possible while she naps. He's just a good guy. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of electrical work. The price is always right too!! I can't say enough good things about him! Lucky to have found him on home advisor a few years back.

Dean and his crew are as honest as the day is long.  They will do a good job for you at a fair price.  We have used Interwest about 4 or 5 times now.  We always make a list of the projects -- install ceiling light, new porch light, fix doorbell, etc. -- and they move through the list efficiently.  And, you can tell they take pride in their work.  They have great attitudes.  Never had a problem with them -- which is way more than I can say about the various other contractors that we've had do work on our house!

Kevin and Jose were great.  They were the first ones to reply with a quote and were able to get to the house to troubleshoot and do the repairs promptly on the same day.  Other companies were charging almost double in the quotes that were sent to me.  Very smooth transaction over the phone to pay for services.  Will gladly recommend again.

Big thanks to Point Loma Electric for coming out and fixing all of my issues before Xmas. They added a circuit for my new oven (didn't know my old oven was wired in) and replaced all my breakers in my electrical panel (leak on roof from the rain flooded my electrical panel) in one day.
My daughter's wish to spend Xmas at home instead of a hotel came true. I can't thank Point Loma Electric enough for the work that they have done.

Called LTE because I smelled something burning in my home. Went out to garage and found that the lights would not turn off. After a bit of investigating I finally called the first company closest to where I was staying. He responded to me within 30 min and walked me through different suggestions. Honestly, I had him going down a rabbit hole with my description and thoughts. He quickly figured out that I had a short in one of my switched and had me shut the breaker off. To some this is a no brainer. To me I would have had a three alarm fire in my home due to ignorance. LTE came out first thing in the morning, small charge and had me fixed and good to go within about 10 minutes. He was super professional and helpful. Prices are reasonable and solid work  I highly recommend

James from Custom Electric is a first rate electrician.  He put in recessed lighting in the kitchen and bedrooms, installed ceiling speakers and ran wire for surround sound, and did many other electrical jobs in my home.  All of his work was exceptional!!!  He really has an eye for detail, and made sure that before he cut any drywall, I was completely happy with the placement.  His prices were great, and he was perfectly willing to work around my budget.  I will definitely use James for all of my electrical work!  James is as good as it gets!

We were very happy with call back, response time and communication. Problem got fixed and I got great info and education on a future project. If an electrician is needed  they will get my call first.

This guy has anger issues, BROKE my companies door because we asked him to wear a mask. Not to mention told my Hispanic employee To go back to his country .

They were very late.  Customer service kept saying 20 minutes, 20 minutes...The electrician was very nice and provided a quote on the spot.  Once he arrived he said, they book me too close together.  If you are wanting to work with them try for an early morning appointment since it's apparent the later it gets they later they are.

We contacted HG electrics on Saturday morning and they were able to come out on Sunday morning. Greg quoted us on the phone and his price is very reasonable compared to another company we called. On Sunday, Greg only took an hour to fix our breaker and other electrical issues. We would definitely recommend HG electrics for future issues.

We discovered a dangerous situation in our main panel.   David gave us instructions via phone to communicate with the electric company.   He was able to replace the dangerous main input and damaged breakers to get our power back on while we go through the permitting process to eventually upgrade our whole panel.   We were in a desperate situation. and he was responsive,  prompt,  helpful, fair, and professional.   We have found our electrician for every future project.   I highly recommend.

Ramon was quick to respond and provide a fixed and reasonable quote. He fixed my electrical issue the next day after initial contact, was friendly, wore shoe covers to protect my floors, and even explained what went wrong and what he did to fix it. Thanks Ramon!

I recently had my existing EV charger removed and replaced with a newer machine. My previous installation which required a receptacle showed considerable wear and tear and needed an upgrade. Edward diagnose the issue as a loose connection but more importantly pointed out that through no fault of the previous installer, EV chargers are best with their hardwired due to the heavy usage with expansion from heat/cooling through the connection. Throughout the installation, Edward was very thorough, provided detail and walk me through the entire installation. The work was and results are super, check out my pictures of the existing receptacle in my newly installed EV charger; highly recommended!
