I needed an electrician to repair the ceiling light in my master bedroom and requested for quotes from 5 different vendors.  I was hoping to have the repair completed over the weekend and to my delight Jesus of United Electric was 1 of 2 vendors who was willing and able to come on the Saturday I requested.  Jesus was pleasant, on time, efficient in  competing the repair and reasonable as well!  I would not hesitate to contact United Electric for future repairs.  Thank you!

Mark is everything you could ask for in an electrician--honest, talented, and punctual. He installed 12 can lights at my rental property--it was a much more involved job than originally thought, yet he didn't charge anything beyond the original quote.

I recently required his assistance with an issue that had to be addressed immediately. Before his workday was to begin, he stopped by the property at 7am to fix the problem. I highly recommend him to anyone with a need for an electrician!

Easy to communicate with and schedule, was right on par with his estimate, and took great care of our room! We had Rory install a ceiling fixture in our soon-to-be nursery with a dimmer switch. It looks beautiful, and everything was tidy when he left. I couldn't even tell anyone had been there. We got a few estimates for other projects in our home and will definitely use him again!

This is a follow-up review for Frank Electric.  Frank never ceases to amaze me with the level of service and support he provides to his customers.  Most recently, I experienced a problem with one of my breaker panels and one of the associated circuits which provides power to my living room area.  In essence we lost power to all fixtures, outlets and switches in that room.  I gave Frank a call and he responded right away.  I told him what I thought the issue was and he gave me some troubleshooting guidance over the phone, and advised me that he was working on a major rewiring job through the weekend, and that if there was break in the action he would stop by my home to address the problem.  I followed his troubleshooting guidance and was unable to resolve the problem myself.  I called Frank the next day to update him and he said he would make time to address my problem.  Twenty-Five minutes later he arrived at my home and greeted me with a big smile, checked the situation out, and less than 10 minutes later he found and resolved the problem, which turned out to be a faulty cord for a lamp that was short circuiting the outlet it was plugged into and tripping the associated breaker switch.  The reason I am writing this review is to demonstrate that Frank goes above and beyond all expectations for his customers.  To put it very simply I can't recall ever having a better customer service experience!  The Yelp rating system of 5 Stars does not even begin to recognize people of Frank's caliber!  I personally would give them at least 6 Stars and better yet, 10 out of 10 if it were possible!  My wife and I would like to personally thank Frank for simply being the Best!  If there is a Guardian Angel that watches over Electricians and their Customers, his name must be Frank!  If I have any future needs for electrical work, I will hire Frank and the Frank Electric Crew without hesitation.  In my opinion, if you are looking for an electrical contractor, first do your own research, but I highly recommend that you consider putting Frank Electric at the top of your list.

If you're looking for a great, honest and hard working electrician, then Romo from E.R. Electric is guy to call.  Day or night, he is there to take care of your electrical needs.  We had a major electrical meltdown at our work Thursday night, right before the Labor Day weekend.  The main panel in our suite blew, caused a small electrical fire and fried the other 2 panels as well. We did a search on our iPhone for a 24 hr electrician and we were fortunate to find Romo from E.R. Electric.  

We spoke with Romo at 10:00 pm that night and he said he would be at our place within an 1 hr.  He was there in 45 mins.  He accessed our situation, which was grave, but his positive attitude put us at ease and we knew we were in good hands.  Romo told us he would get our electrical up and running the next morning with a temporary fix.

The next morning, Romo was there looking over the panels, and had us up and running with a temporary fix until he could get the parts he needed after the holiday weekend.  After he looked at everything, he told us that the whole electrical system would have to be replaced.  The quote he gave us to replace our electrical was fair and honest.

The work he and his crew (Julian, Paul, & Gabriel) did was outstanding!  Romo and his guys worked fast, efficient and the job (which was quality craftsmanship) that was done could have been a picture in a text book of this is how it should always look.  The wiring in the fuse boxes were a work of art in our opinion.  After he and his crew were done for the day, they would clean up the area and organize for the next day.  Romo also took time out to meet with our insurance adjuster to go over all the electrical and explain what he did and why.  

There are so many great things to say about Romo and E.R. Electric.  To sum it up, Romo goes above and beyond expectations and the work he does is exceptional.  He is an honest and hard working guy with a great attitude who wants to do the best job he can and it shows in everything he does.  If anyone asks us if we know of a great electrician, we would say, Give Romo a call at E.R. Electric.  You'll be happy you did.  I know we are :-)

Worked with Jose to repair some poorly done wiring in the garage in our newly purchased home. He's very responsive and laid out a plan to get everything in working order. He was also willing to tackle a few other add-on electrical projects for us. He's very knowledgeable, has attention to detail, and just gets things done right the first time. He does great work for a great price. Next time I need an electrician, I'm calling Jose again.

Chris was FANTASTIC!!  He came to our house for a site visit before he gave me a quote. He offered options that were available to resolve my issue and shared the difference in cost for each. He also leveraged his expertise to recommend a resolution that worked out beautifully!!  He was ver customer-focused, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable!  I will continue to use him for all of my electrical needs.

These guys did a whole unit rewire as well as a service upgrade for a multi unit property for me. Excellent work.

Needed to install a new 240-volt outlet for my 40A EV Charger.  Got quotes from 10 different electricians and Kevin had the best price and quickest service.  Kevin was very responsive via Yelp messaging and texts.  

He and his helper came out quickly, did a fantastic job and were very professional.

Of all the myriad of places I reached out to, Point Loma Electric was the quickest to get back to me. That means a lot to someone like me who is always on the go. It seems they really wanted my business and it stuck in my head even when I called them back two months later! Speaking with the customer service representatives was great. Brandy and Mary were really great to work with. They were very responsive and informed me with reminders and updates as they were made available.
 Greg came out to fix a ceiling flush mount light that wasn't working. After assessing the problem it took him about an hour to fix. He was a little late due to a previous job and acknowledged and apologized. Love that. It means a lot to recognize that other people's time is valued. Nevertheless Greg was the consummate professional. He even gave me a credit for the full cost of the job, about 300 dollars so that if I decided to go a different way with the light in the future I wouldn't be double charged for the work. Incredible. He was also very engaging with conversation and we talked about the NBA playoffs while he worked.
 All this coupled with the fact that Point Loma Electric retains a BBB rating of A+ and has numerous other reviews on other platforms really makes me feel good that I went with them. What a great experience. Can't wait to have them back for other projects in the future!

Luke is great - he fixed multiple electrical problems with my house, finding creative (but still fully code-compliant) solutions. He listens, doesn't try to upsell you, and is very easy to work with. Highly recommended!

James did an outstanding job troubleshooting and replacing a faulty breaker that could have caused a lot of damage if left in place, not to mention that he came on a Sunday within 2 hours.  We will use Custom Electric and James for our electrical needs in the future.

After consulting with Roddy I decided not to have the electrical work done, because he was honest enough to let me know I was worried about something that probably wasn't a problem.  But he seemed very honest and reasonably-priced when I asked about other miscellaneous projects I was considering.

James has extensive knowledge about old home wiring. My home was built in the 1920's and things allowed were very different. Then there was an add on to the house over 30 years ago so I have two systems. James was efficient, explained options clearly, and did the work safely and cleanly. I highly recommend him!

Two of my wall outlet weren't working and I was trying to figure out what was going on. Turns out I needed to replace a breaker in my house. I called GES up and was able to schedule them to come out. I sent them photos of what the breaker looked like from the panel in the garage and they were able to come out and replace the specific breaker. Everything works fine now, will definitely be keeping their contact for any future electrical issues.

I got a response within minutes and arranged an appointment for the next morning.  Gregory showed up early, assessed the problem, fixed my recessed light and replaced my 3 others to match brightness, at a significant reduction in price over the home centers.  It was quick, painless and a good bargain.

We had several electrical issues that needed to be addressed in our 1930 home. David was always professional, responsive and honest. We will definitely call him in the future.

Ramon did a fantastic job installing an outlet for our dryer and an ev charging outlet. His professionalism, attention to detail and communication were all superb. He will for sure be my go to guy for all of my electrical needs.
