I needed to have a 240V line installed with a Nema 6-20 plug so I could charge my Chevy Volt. My house is one of the old ones in the Clairemont area that just had 120V. Jesus had no problems making a new run from the electrical panel at the rear of the house all the way to the garage where I needed the plug installed. Jesus did a great job and the price was great as well.

Very pleased with the service provided. Mark called me the night before to confirm the appointment, then showed up right on time the next morning. It took a while to figure out what was going on with the wiring in my condo, but experience and knowledge led us to the right answer. He was very easy to get along with, and even gave me some tips on how to prevent further incidents around the house. Overall VERY pleased with how things turned out. Would definitely recommend.

I live in Ramona and finding local reliable help is tough, Rory Higgins is down the hill but was willing to come help my blown circuit. I began with a message on his website, said I'd have a reply within 48 hours (it was quicker than that) and he was able to come on my day off. He texted on the way so I was aware log his arrival. It was raining and he took care to keep areas clean and he explained what he was doing all along the way. The work took an hour, and the price was less than I expected, so I gave a thank you tip for the drive up here. Totally happy, and I will use him again and refer to friends up here.

Jose's knowledge and work ethic is rare to come by. I opened up a new restaurant needing some extensive work done. He did what was needed to get everything in place and working. When it comes to electrical wiring, I completely trust the skill and professionalism of Interwest Electric.  Dean, Jose, Elvis and Miguel went above and beyond to rewire my old home.  They did a superb job within the time frame and estimate given and always left my home clean at the end of each day. I called out Point Loma Electric because I was getting some flickering lights in my house. I explained to the technician I thought maybe the power tools from the construction next door might be the cause but was not sure. And really I didn't think it was possible. The technician told me to first call SDGE and have them come out and check the lines that come from the pole to my house.  The Technician didn't want to start trouble shooting, possibly find nothing and have to charge me. He also didn't charge me for him to come out which I was more than willing to pay.

 I took his awesome advice and had a SDGE linemen come over and check his lines. It turns out I had a bad connection from the pole into my house. SDGE fixed the problem and it did not cost me anything since it was on the SDGE side. But the Linemen did suggest to replace the mast and line that comes into my house because the line was of lower grade and the current installation is not as safe as it could be. My house was built in 1960.

I then turned around and called out Point Loma Electric and asked for a quote on the work. They gave me a competitive quote and I didn't bother to call anyone else because I trusted they could do a great job. I was not home when the technician finished I went and checked the work and it all looked good except for a few minor details. I called Point Loma Electric and explained my somewhat dissatisfaction. I was very happy on the more than gracious response and integrity to make sure I was 100% satisfied. They came out again and fixed it all and made sure I was 100% satisfied before they left.

Called LTE because I smelled something burning in my home. Went out to garage and found that the lights would not turn off. After a bit of investigating I finally called the first company closest to where I was staying. He responded to me within 30 min and walked me through different suggestions. Honestly, I had him going down a rabbit hole with my description and thoughts. He quickly figured out that I had a short in one of my switched and had me shut the breaker off. To some this is a no brainer. To me I would have had a three alarm fire in my home due to ignorance. LTE came out first thing in the morning, small charge and had me fixed and good to go within about 10 minutes. He was super professional and helpful. Prices are reasonable and solid work  I highly recommend

We had a really good experience with these guys, and we love our new lights!  We inquired on a Monday and James came over that same evening, said Yes on the Wednesday (2 days later), and the next day (Thursday) it was all complete by 6PM !! Easiest project ever!

James came over to give me a quote the same day I inquired on Yelp.  Which is great, because If he waited too long, I might have changed my mind about doing this project.  It's not like these projects are cheap... I did contact another company on Yelp, but they weren't available for a quote until A WEEK LATER and did not offer any other days.  Custom Electric was quick, efficient, and they cleaned up very nicely!  Anyone who has done construction/remodel work know what it's like when a does not clean up after themselves.

Custom Electric was able to work with us on the price, so much that we ended up doing both the kitchen AND the living room (when our original plan was to only do the kitchen).  We are very happy with their work, and have received multiple compliments from friends and family.  What a difference some lights make!  We definitely recommend them for some no-nonsense service.

Roddy responded to my Yelp request for quotes.  His price was reasonable.  He was very responsive, kept in touch while I was getting my fan, very punctual on the day of the install.  Very honest no drama solid professional.  Will definitely use his service again when there's a need.

Pretty straight forward. Sergio came in installed some dimmers made some good recommendations on the fan that was installed in our bedroom and daughters bathroom.  Overall great customer service and very professional.

david and his team have done other work for me, so when i was going to increase from 200 amp to 400 amp in preparation for solar, for my house and my tenant's, i called david. he worked really hard with the city to get the permits and the inspections, prepared the job over a couple days so that when it was time to redo the grid, he was able to do it in 5 hours. it was a monster job and it went beautifully.

The owner, Ramon, was very responsive when I submitted a request for quotes through Yelp.  He came by my place to provide an in-person consultation for the services I requested.  He was friendly, thorough, knowledgeable and gave good insight on what should and should not be done.  Although I did not select him for this project, I will definitely use him in the future.

I recently had my existing EV charger removed and replaced with a newer machine. My previous installation which required a receptacle showed considerable wear and tear and needed an upgrade. Edward diagnose the issue as a loose connection but more importantly pointed out that through no fault of the previous installer, EV chargers are best with their hardwired due to the heavy usage with expansion from heat/cooling through the connection. Throughout the installation, Edward was very thorough, provided detail and walk me through the entire installation. The work was and results are super, check out my pictures of the existing receptacle in my newly installed EV charger; highly recommended!
