Very impressed! Mark is so easy to work with. I needed a few random jobs done around a new home, install a new outlet to support a microwave, replace weird track lighting with a ceiling fan, and replace fluorescent lighting with can lights in the kitchen. He came out the same day I called to give me an estimate. The price was fair, and once he started working, the projects gave him a little more trouble than expected, but he had great solutions for everything thing that came up. I would highly recommend him for any of your lighting and electrical needs, the guy does great work!

I called Rory at noon based on the other reviews posted here.  He was at my place by 4pm same day, solved the problem in a few minutes, and charged a fair price for the work completed.  

Rory is professional, friendly, and easy to work with.  We are working with having him finish a few other projects we've been putting off due to dreading trying to find a trustworthy electrician.

I look forward to working with Rory again, and highly recommend him to anyone considering some electrical work to be completed at their home.

Frank is awesome. He installed 6 new recessed lights and replaced 4 old ones for me. Fair pricing. Great communication. Quick to get the job done and didn't leave a spec of dust behind. Not to mention he's a very friendly guy - you'd probably want to buy him a beer once the job is done!

I recently had Interwest Electric  perform some electrical upgrades to our condo complex.  Dean and his staff were professional, knowledgeable, and cost effective.  I recommend them without reservation to anyone requiring residential and/or commercial electrical work.

Called them about my outlets not having any power after troubleshooting the problem myself. Kevin was really professional on the phone and was able to get someone out the same day in a few hours. Luis came and was great, told me what he was going to do and any issue he had. He spent an hour here and made sure everything was working and that I was happy before he left. So happy, and Luis was great with my cats. I recommend them!

We recently had some electrical and plumbing work done with Point Loma. Our experience was excellent! From the emergency response to our situation all the way through to the completion and follow-up of both projects. Big shout out to Curtis and Ramon from the electrical side and to Luis and Alex on the plumbing side. Would definitely not hesitate to call on them again!

Luke is great - he fixed multiple electrical problems with my house, finding creative (but still fully code-compliant) solutions. He listens, doesn't try to upsell you, and is very easy to work with. Highly recommended!

I called James to have recessed lighting put in my kitchen and a dedicated electrical line for my microwave. He came out, gave me an estimate, and was able to finish the project all in one day as promised. The new recessed lights look much better. He and his assistant leveled the veiled to get rid of the space where the old fluorescent lights were. They did not repaint the ceiling, but said the could when it dried. I have a painter scheduled to come out to take care of that. They did a good job of taping off the kitchen so most of the dust stayed in there, but the adjacent rooms did get a bit dusty. Just don't clean before a project like this and plan to do it afterwards. I'd hire James again for electrical work.

We were having electrical issues in our garage and got ahold of Advanced Electrical Innovations and they were out here the following day and troubleshooted our issue very quickly. Roddy was our electrician and he was very knowledgeable and has been doing this for 25 years. He was able to fix the issue within an hour. They are a brand new company and we were one of their first customers. Very quick and responsive team. They were the most affordable company I found and were great to work with. I will be calling them for any electrical issues we have in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone.

James ran a separate electric outlet for a dryer hookup for me. He was super friendly, on time, and prides himself on doing things without taking short cuts. Highly recommend his services!!

Contacted these guys to check out our rental property. They made sure the breaker and everything was working well. Did a few replacement for some outlets and installation of smoke detectors. They did a great job, Very excitng!

Greg came out to give us an estimate. He was kind and professional. We will use him for our panel upgrade when ready.

Our 1930s house needed a panel upgrade to support AC and a few other electrical appliances. We got quotes from a few companies and Alvarado Electric was the most competitive by far. Service was also done on time with no issues. Would highly recommend this company

The owner, Ramon, was very responsive when I submitted a request for quotes through Yelp.  He came by my place to provide an in-person consultation for the services I requested.  He was friendly, thorough, knowledgeable and gave good insight on what should and should not be done.  Although I did not select him for this project, I will definitely use him in the future.

I've had two EVs for almost 10 years and recently bought a third one.

I was reading an article that many NEMA 14-50 plug installs are not adequate for the continuous nightly draw we EV owners place on them and called Edward.
Edward knew exactly what I was talking about and my concerns since his primary Business is EV charging installation.

He was very accommodating, making time in his schedule to come out and look at my previous installation.
He was reasonable, noting that one of my plugs was installed well, and we just replaced the actual socket for a better one at a nominal fee.

As for my second NEMA 14-50 socket, I was shocked to find that indeed it had started  to melt and needed to be replaced.
We decided to place a dedicated charger for my second vehicle, and I found his pricing very reasonable.

I would highly recommend that everyone who has an electric vehicle, makes sure that their install was done properly and not with inexpensive parts meant to be used an hour or two a week. EVs put a huge work load on the wiring and sockets and a bad install is highly likely to fail from heat and arcing leading to
a risk of fire.

If you think of all the money you pay for house insurance, calling Edward out is a small amount of money for peace of mind.
