Terrific service from United Electric! Jesus installed a 14-50 outlet in our garage for an EV charging station. He identified an incorrectly installed circuit breaker (work done by a previous contractor) and came back to fix that, and then got us through the City's permitting process for the charging station. Always prompt, communicated the whole process and price very clearly, and even waited an extra two hours for the inspector to show up when he was delayed.

We called H&H Lighting and Electrical because of all the positive Yelp reviews.  Mark did not disappoint. He took on a large project by replacing all of the subpanels in our 8 unit apartment building. His quote was fair and honest. He arrived on time each day and he kept his work area tidy. Thank you Mark. You're the best in the business!

Our vacuum cleaner blew out a circuit in our home (which included our substantial office in the home).  Resetting the breaker didn't solve the problem.  Uh oh.

We called several electricians using Yelp recommendations.  Some had bad answering machines, sounded anonymous, etc.  We left messages for 4 to call us back.  Which all eventually did, but too late.

Rory Higgins (he's NOT Higgins Rory) we reached with our call to his cell phone, and he sounded competent.  He set a time he could make it (two hours to get here), then called to say his job would delay him another hour.  Showed up at the amended time, and chased the problem.  

Our house was built in Scripps Ranch in 1970 and apparently the outlets were a little substandard.  Had to check several on the ciruit to find which one had shorted (all lacked a neutral wire), and he fixed it.  He also replaced one outlet that was in bad shape.

His visit lasted a bit over an hour, and his price was QUITE reasonable.  He's now our electrician, though with luck, I'll never see him again except in Costco!  I strongly recommend Rory Higgins to others with electrical problems.

Frank is awesome. He installed 6 new recessed lights and replaced 4 old ones for me. Fair pricing. Great communication. Quick to get the job done and didn't leave a spec of dust behind. Not to mention he's a very friendly guy - you'd probably want to buy him a beer once the job is done!

Donnie and Chris were professional, personable, respectful and masked! They did a thorough inspection of our electrical panel to determine the problem, installed the fix and tested our appliances. They proved a previous electrician sent by our warranty company wrong and saved us $6,000...and Chris came back one week later to inspect and ensure all was well!

I don't want to ever use any other electrician!  This is a great company and I'm so grateful to have found them.  Dean, the owner, is honest and doesn't try to provide unneccessary services.  I've used the company for several years.  At my home, he did a lot of work, including getting my home ready for the City's undergrounding of my overhead electrical lines.  The communcation and follow up is superb.

I have also referred them to several people and they have been so happy with the service given.  By far, they are the best.  Knowledgeable, reliable, friendly and easy to work with.

Point Loma Electric and Plumbing are amazing! We hired them for our historic home because of their specialized experience with such homes. They did a fantastic job. They added recessed lights, ceiling fans, bathroom exhaust fans, and additional outlets. Mike Brito, one of their electricians, was especially amazing. They are very easy to schedule and communicate with. They show up on time and produce very high-quality work. They have been some of the best contractors we have ever worked with. Pricing is the best among a dozen of quotes that I received. Looks very knowledgeable and has installed many of these.

Needed to fix a fan switch. Called James on Tuesday, fit me in that Saturday. In, fixed, out in less than an hour. Great job, good dude.

Roddy responded to my Yelp request for quotes.  His price was reasonable.  He was very responsive, kept in touch while I was getting my fan, very punctual on the day of the install.  Very honest no drama solid professional.  Will definitely use his service again when there's a need.

I called James about replacing an electrical panel that was quite old. I got several estimates that seemed a little pricey. When I called James and told him the situation, he quoted me almost half the price of other companies. He spent a couple minutes telling me what the job entailed. He got to my house promptly and the job was done in less than half a day. Very professional work. I'm glad I checked yelp because it was the most efficient job I have ever seen.

Beware!  This company sent an electrician to my house. He was rude, in a hurry, and quoted me $1,100 total for three small jobs before I even explained what the problems were. He was a poor listener.  Once he knew I wanted all the work done he lowered the price to $800 all of a sudden. I said goodbye right then.  Hired another electrician who did all three jobs for $180!  And he was licensed and bonded and did a great job.  Go green! Yes!  Just not Green Electric Solutions I say.

Outstanding customer service, quickly responded to my request and was able to fix a few outlets quickly! Will certainly call again and can't recommend enough!

I contacted David on Super Bowl Sunday and within an hour he was headed to our home to fix our panel that had been smoking. He was very professional and reasonable especially given the day and urgency of the issue.

Ramon was quick to respond and provide a fixed and reasonable quote. He fixed my electrical issue the next day after initial contact, was friendly, wore shoe covers to protect my floors, and even explained what went wrong and what he did to fix it. Thanks Ramon!

I've had two EVs for almost 10 years and recently bought a third one.

I was reading an article that many NEMA 14-50 plug installs are not adequate for the continuous nightly draw we EV owners place on them and called Edward.
Edward knew exactly what I was talking about and my concerns since his primary Business is EV charging installation.

He was very accommodating, making time in his schedule to come out and look at my previous installation.
He was reasonable, noting that one of my plugs was installed well, and we just replaced the actual socket for a better one at a nominal fee.

As for my second NEMA 14-50 socket, I was shocked to find that indeed it had started  to melt and needed to be replaced.
We decided to place a dedicated charger for my second vehicle, and I found his pricing very reasonable.

I would highly recommend that everyone who has an electric vehicle, makes sure that their install was done properly and not with inexpensive parts meant to be used an hour or two a week. EVs put a huge work load on the wiring and sockets and a bad install is highly likely to fail from heat and arcing leading to
a risk of fire.

If you think of all the money you pay for house insurance, calling Edward out is a small amount of money for peace of mind.
