Ok, it was Super Bowl Sunday. My son lives in our condo and goes to a local college. Needless to say, when he called us and told us the power is out and it is just my unit we panicked. We are hundreds of miles away, and the HOA was useless to help us. I called 3 people all claiming to be open on a Sunday (did I say it was Super Bowl Sunday yet???). In any event, none of them answered the call for emergency service. Well, Ocean Electric did. When I explained the problem they were so helpful.

Over the phone, I explained the problem and he said have your son call me. Within 20 minutes, the power was on, and they did not charge us. I am not promoting taking a free service, but this company is now in my phone and is my go to electrician from this day forward. What amazing, caring people and I could not thank them enough. This is how you earn customers for life.

So as a worried parent whose back up plan was throw out everything in the refrigerator and get a hotel for the night to being back in business in minutes, the service and care was appreciated. 5 Stars all the way. Thank you Ocean Electric.

Richard did a great job discovering, diagnosing and fixing a wiring issue I had. He came highly recommended, did a great job at a good price, and I will definitely use his services if needed in the future! I recommend his company to anyone who needs great quality electrical work.

My lights inside my house were freaking out from time to time, I ignored.  Blink of an eye power outages occurred inside the house, I ignored.  The electrical components of my washer fried, I ignored.  However, the last straw was when the power going out when I pressed power on my new washer.  I called the electrician and he came out, same day. It turned out the panel outside got corroded due to the salty air.  These guys were quick to provide a temporary fix and were awesome at coming out for a full panel replacement.  Prompt work, clean work, cool guys... can't complain.

I'm no expert but I know a thing or two about (basic) wiring. Tried my hand at ceiling fans this weekend and ran into a snag on the last one. As a do-it-yourselfer I swallowed my pride and made the call to see how much the damage would be to have someone do it for me. Most of the work was done and he (I'm sorry I didn't catch his name) gave me a fair price to come finish up. But as we talked he understood what it was I needed to do and TALKED ME THROUGH IT!! I can't imagine many companies taking the time to explain wiring over the phone when the option to just show up and do it for you-charging and arm and a leg meanwhile- is there. I'm very pleased with the customer support and without a doubt, I now have an electrician go to. Thank you so much for your help! I would've spent hours in my attic scratching my head trying to figure out what I was doing wrong!!

Eddie and crew returned to troubleshoot an electric issue (that couldn't be fixed by a couple of other techs) and to install lights to brighten up the exterior of my home. Eddie immediately diagnoses and repaired my electrical issue and the lights are working perfectly inside!
As for the exterior lighting, Eddie installed the lighting on both levels of my home and I'm pleased with the results!

One of the best companies out there! The ONLY electrician I will hire (and I have pretty high expectations) You will not regret calling them! They are professional, dependable, honest, tidy, and very reasonably priced.  I have had them do various jobs in my home several different times over the last year.  They have taken care of ceiling fan replacement, bathroom light replacement, can lighting installation, wiring and installing a wall mounted tv, overhead light installation and several other small electrical jobs. They are one of those companies that others should strive to be!

I was looking for someone to install 2 ceiling fans and 1 chandelier. Power On was able to come out the same day and made quick work of the job. They were very mindful of covid protocol, wearing a mask the whole time. They even wore booties to cover their shoes and vacuumed up afterwards. I will definitely use them again for any projects I have in the future.

Dan and his employees take care of you.  Reasonably priced and very professional.  I have had them do everything from wiring by Jacuzzi to light fixtures.  They always do a fantastic job.

Randy did a great job!  We needed to upgrade our main service to enable us to add solar. Randy upgraded our service panel from 100 amp to 200 amp service. He completed it quickly and the city inspector was complementary of the completed job.

I used Smith Electrical to install a wall charger for my new Tesla and could not be more satisfied with the service.  

I initially tried another recommended contractor, who asked for a picture of my electrical panel and quickly asserted that I needed a new panel and referred me to SDG&E.  I submitted an online survey, waited for a week or so, only to find out that SDG&E would be out to survey my panel in four weeks or so.  At this point, I called Smith Electrical.

I got an appointment within 2-3 days where an electrician came out to complete a load survey.  He took a look at the panel and then carefully recorded the power requirements of the big appliances in my house (A/C, refrigerator, pool equipment, etc).  As it turns out, there is plenty of capacity in my existing panel and only needed to reorganize the circuit breakers to make room.  I had an appointment within a week for the installation.

On install day, the electrician (Joseph) arrived early which was not a problem for me.  He quickly had the wall charger installed, re-labeled the breakers with the new layout, arranged the inspection for the same time slot, and completed the job in less than two hours.  Joseph was very professional and having installed many Tesla wall chargers, was very competent and did a great job.

I'm impressed with Smith Electrical and will definitely consider them again for future electrical work.

Richard is a true professional with an amazing work ethic.  His workmanship is great.  I called to attain a quote for his services.  I wanted the ceiling fans installed in each of my upstairs bedrooms.  I was quoted a very fair price that had been lower than others I had shopped around for.  So I attained his services.  Initially the date to get the work accomplished was Tuesday morning around 10.  Richard gave me a call a couple hours before the appointed time and explain that he had come down with something and asked if we could reschedule.  He stated that he could still install the fans that day if there wasn't any way we could reschedule.  Of course I said we could and hoped he felt better.  We rescheduled for that Friday at the same time.  Friday comes along and Richard arrives earlier and gets started right away.  These fans were brand new installs and had to be wired and run through the attic.  With all three fans it only took about four hours to complete.  I had thought I wanted the fans to be wired to the switch at first.  But Richard educated me a bit on remote control ceiling fans and I was sold.  He even provides the remotes and made recommendations on where to go if we ever needed to get more.  If I ever need anything electrical done I will definitely try to retain Richard Pisselli Electrical again.
