Ok, it was Super Bowl Sunday. My son lives in our condo and goes to a local college. Needless to say, when he called us and told us the power is out and it is just my unit we panicked. We are hundreds of miles away, and the HOA was useless to help us. I called 3 people all claiming to be open on a Sunday (did I say it was Super Bowl Sunday yet???). In any event, none of them answered the call for emergency service. Well, Ocean Electric did. When I explained the problem they were so helpful.

Over the phone, I explained the problem and he said have your son call me. Within 20 minutes, the power was on, and they did not charge us. I am not promoting taking a free service, but this company is now in my phone and is my go to electrician from this day forward. What amazing, caring people and I could not thank them enough. This is how you earn customers for life.

So as a worried parent whose back up plan was throw out everything in the refrigerator and get a hotel for the night to being back in business in minutes, the service and care was appreciated. 5 Stars all the way. Thank you Ocean Electric.

I reached out to She Fixed It over the summer to ask if Kelley could take care of some small issues around my condo.  She was quick to respond and let me know what she could tackle from my list (drywall repair, window caulking, bathroom tile caulking, and painting).

Kelley came by and did a really good job! She has good attention to detail and was able to take care of things in a reasonable amount of time.  I will keep her in mind for future jobs.

Can I say enough good things about Richard Olinger and his business!!??? The list goes on and on. Every time I interact with Rick or his crew, I am just beyond satisfied and relieved to know that I am working with HONEST professionals who do top QUALITY work for a REASONABLE price. I can't believe I lucked out finding this business.

Here's my long story. I had to do an electrical rewire and panel upgrade for my small house (650 sq ft) this past winter. It was around the holidays and we were in a bit of a time crunch, so I passed over Olinger to go with someone else (business shall not be named) who seemed like they were ready to get the work done ASAP (Olinger was booked up for a while at that point--makes sense, since they do great work). Going with that other business was a MISTAKE. The other contractor charged almost twice as much more than Olinger did for his first estimate, and then it was one excuse after another for getting the rewire completed. The final straw came when the other guy demanded an extra $4k for the new panel (parts ONLY--not including the labor) because of supply chain issues even though we had the cost already laid out in our contract. I know some panels are hard to come by right now, but $4k for a 200amp service panel (just the part--not the labor, mind you) seemed suspicious to me. On top of all that, the other guy did sloppy work. It was a tough decision but I had to terminate that contract. This all happened about 2 weeks before we had to move--we were patching all the drywall holes ourselves. We needed help.

Que Olinger Electric, who came in and was immediately able to pick up the other guy's work where he left off and get it done QUICKLY! They were even able to give us temporary power in the house, which helped SO much with the remodel (being able to plug in our batteries for tools, etc.). The other guy had us running an extension cord from outside. It was like night and day. Olinger's team was able to squeeze us in their schedule last minute so that our electrical was ready for our move in. It was so refreshing to have a contractor that understood our tight deadline and came when they said they would. Olinger and the other leads electricians treat the helpers/apprentices with RESPECT (unlike the other guy who was downright abusive to his helper constantly). The crew was super friendly. The receptionist for Olinger was a great communicator. They didn't leave garbage all over our yard. Their prices were so reasonable! AND on top of all that, their work was excellent!!!

As long as they are in business, I will be working with them for my electrical needs and recommending them to friends and family. Thank you Olinger Electric!

As a property manager, I have gone through several vendors.  Good vendors are definitely hard to find.  JW Electric is one of my key vendors.  Jay and his team are knowledgeable, don't overcharge, and get the job done.  I highly recommend JW Electric as your preferred electrician!!!

We called National city electric because we were selling our condo and needed to have GFI plugs installed and tested. I called left a message and was promptly called back. Spoke to Geraldo and he was at our condo in less than 30 minutes. Completed the work and did an excellent job. I usually do not do reviews but he was so wonderful and efficient that I had to leave him an excellent review. I highly recommended this company.

Eddie and crew returned to troubleshoot an electric issue (that couldn't be fixed by a couple of other techs) and to install lights to brighten up the exterior of my home. Eddie immediately diagnoses and repaired my electrical issue and the lights are working perfectly inside!
As for the exterior lighting, Eddie installed the lighting on both levels of my home and I'm pleased with the results!

Carlos and his team are amazing! The customer service, workmanship and professionalism were nothing short of perfection. We are so incredibly pleased with the work we had done to our kitchen and will never use anyone else again!

For Prime Day, I finally scored a Haiku ceiling fan at a reasonable price.  Ordered it on Monday, Amazon delivered it on Tuesday, and Alex Lopez Electric installed our beautiful new ceiling fan on Wednesday morning.   Easy peazy.

When I telephoned Alex, he replied within an hour, confirmed the installation price & confirmed an appointment the next morning.  

Two installers arrived on time, and used dropped cloths to cover their work area. After confirming the center mounting location with me, they proceeded to cut the mounting hole, wired the electrical, and then mounted the Haiku ceiling fan in a new support bracket.  They even packed the trash.   Everything was completed as expected, with no surprises.

Many thanks, we love the new fan. Now we're ready for summer!

Called and asked if he could help with an electrical problem.  He explained where I live is outside his service area.  

With that said, he still answered my 18 million questions about my issue, provided many suggestions about how to solve my issue and told me exactly what I needed to ask for when I was calling around and how much he would have charged had he done the work.  Definitely didn't have to do that.  I'm a rookie when it comes to electrical and he was very patient.

I sure wish he was in my area as I've made about 15 phone calls about this issue and he was the most helpful and descriptive of any of the vendors I reached out to.

Can't speak to the work, but based on altruism alone....5 stars.

Extremely happy with the service received from Hi Power.  Starting with my initial phone call to the completion of the work, I could not be happier.

On my initial phone call, they took the time to listen to me try to explain the issue and they patiently tried to trouble shoot the problem for me.  In my case, the basic steps proved ineffective (overloaded GFI outlet that was constantly tripping the circuit breaker).  Made an appointment for them to come out since it required repair/upgrading (something I wanted for a longer-term solution).  Their pricing seems in line with other electricians that I contacted but my decision to use Hi Power was based on the service received over the phone.

On the day of my appointment, they arrived promptly and ready to work.  Again, they listened to me explain the issue and presented me with options (varying price points).  They took care of the issue quickly and cleaned up after themselves.

They are professionals.  They listened to the problem and presented me with options.  I never felt that they were trying to sell me something.  I never felt that they were doing anything dishonest.  They were prompt, efficient, and courteous.  Everything that I would want from someone providing me with a service.

Eric and son installed two outdoor outlets for us and also connected and mounted our EV charger.  Friendly, professional service.  We will use them again.

I had major electrical issues going on and a friend recommended Zapp and say they were honest. That made me call them, Zac came out and throughly investigated and found problem, which ended up being in the Smart Meter. Thought SDGE would handle that but they said no, you need an electrician. I had to call Zapp same day after they had already left. Dan was so quick to say they'd be happy to come back out, no problem at all. Zac came back and throughly fixed a very difficult wiring issue in Smart Meter. Everything about it was difficult and he fixed it in no time, fixed it perfect!!!! Then came back in and took time to make sure everything good. He went way above and beyond what I expected and I'll definitely use them and no one else again. They're 100% honest too. Thank you Zapp for your honesty and excellent work and excellent customer service.

I needed an outlet behind my stove when replacing a gas stove with our new electric one. Randy was there to help and was very responsive and professional. Showed up on time and did a great job. The wiring is clean and everything works perfectly. I'd definitely recommend Collier Electric. If you see this, thanks Randy!

Robert was truly a great find on Yelp. After calling a few contractors on Yelp, only to get a voicemail, I called Robert and was pleasantly surprised he actually answered his phone.

From the start he was courteous, knowledgeable and punctual, he was actually 10 minutes early for our first meeting. I hired him to do a remodel on a small bathroom in my condo, as well as a few other needed repairs. The results were amazing, he definitely exceeded my expectations.
 Robert really goes the extra mile, he is honest, reliable and great at anticipating one's needs with attention to detail. He even left my place clean after the job was finished. We wee in need of a good electrician for our home and didn't want to hire just anybody.  We checked Yelp and saw John had very high ratings.  We contacted John and he came to our home to fix various electric repairs.  We were VERY impressed by John's professional demeanor, knowledge and personal attention to detail.  He did an A+ job and his prices are extremely reasonable.  I highly recommend John!!!

I had contacted 2 other electricians that were highly rated but never showed up and flaked on me. Richard texted me before he was on his way and arriveed 20 minutes earlier ( which was great). He was able to resolve my issue in my kitchen quickly and neatly. He was so polite and explained what was going on didn't overcharge me repaired what needed to be repaired. Very affordable & incredibly helpful. I wish I found him years ago.
