CHARGED OUR CARD A MONTH AFTER THE JOB WAS COMPLETED AND PAID FOR WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION. TOLD US WE ARE IMMATURE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT $185 BECAUSE HE MAKES IT IN 5 MINUTES.
I had originally written a review about contracting Precision Electrical Services to do a job for us. What has happened since my review is horrifying. The owner has argued with my husband and I that he was not the one who charged our card without authorization, but it was the company that handles HIS credit card charges, so it's not his fault. Our card was charged December 30th, 2018 and now it is January 9th, 2019 and we have NOT received a refund.
What I would like to share with the viewers on yelp is how this company talks to clients and how unprofessional, rude and immature the owner is.
PLEASE VIEW THE TEXT MESSAGES BETWEEN THE OWNER AND MYSELF WHERE HE PROCEEDS TO TELL ME $185 IS NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT BECAUSE HE MAKES IT IN 5 MINUTES.
We had Precision Electrical Services come out to install a flush mount fixture in our entryway. On the phone I told the guy that the light was already fixed in a can lighting and I wanted a dimmer installed. He gave me a quote and I agreed. The day comes for them to install, he gets to our house and the second he gets in our home he starts quoting all these extra prices. Like the dimmer switch was $20 but that didn't include installation, he said I didn't tell him about the canned light, then he complained that there were crystals that needed to be hung on the mount and that would be extra. We have a nice home and I think once he saw the inside of our home he increased the price. So I told him to forget the dimmer and just to install the light fixture and that my husband would put the crystals on. He was there maybe 30-40 minutes and the job was $185.
Fast forward to a month later I see two charges of $185 from this company on my credit card. Why they STILL had my card information and were making charges to it a month later is a mystery. We called our credit card company and reported these charges as fraudulent. BEWARE
BTW-His comment below is false. He only called after seeing this review, not my texts or calls about the charge. He wanted to bring cash to our house and we told him no the money needed to be put back on the card that it was fraudulently taken from. He also said his charge is the same no matter if he's here 20 minutes or an hour. He could have hung the crystals on the light fixture, instead my husband who is a disabled veteran hung them up and he had just had spinal surgery a week before.
The fact that you think you are somehow not at fault for us being charged twice is bad business. You employed the credit card company. If I own a business and one of my workers does something wrong it's on me, its on the business. You have to make it right, and you have to take responsibility. The fact that you think I somehow owe you an apology just shows how unprofessional you are. I would like to add that you never gave my husband and I an apology, you just complained how it's not my fault like a child. I STILL have not received a refund and it's two weeks after the charge. I only contacted you twice, and your right, I do want my money back that was taken fraudulently from our account. I don't think I am asking anything out of the ordinary. And as far as dropping off the money, we absolutely do not want you anywhere near our home after seeing the hostility and anger towards us. Plus we were charged interest and the charge needs to go back, which is fair. The text messages are a prime example of what a rude and unapologetic person you are. If you don't think those text messages make your business look bad you are in for a rude awakening.
