Attentive, knowledgable, and easy to work with. They do excellent, detailed work and seem honest & straightforward. I appreciate their responsiveness, attention to detail, that they clean up after jobs, and ease in scheduling. Definitely recommend. Will work with them again.

We had a big project that needed to have electricity wired. Digging, drilling, climbing in the attic etc...they guys did a wonderful & professional job. If you need it done and enjoy excellent customer service ( which these days is hard to find ) use them! Highly recommend! Thanks again

We just moved into our new house and found that one of our light switches was wiggly and we had an issue with our ceiling fan. I called GB Electrical and Jay came out soon afterwards. He replaced my wonky light switch and fixed my fan problem without issue. Such a nice guy and such a great job.

Justin and Elephas (not sure of the spelling--sorry!) came out to replace my panel and meter base. I'd recently bought a home that was built in 1976, and a lot of the features are original, including, unfortunately, the panel box outside, which had literally been tied back on by the previous owner when it came loose.

Elephas did the initial estimate and was very kind and knowledgeable, showing me everything that was going on with the old panel, his recommendations for replacing the panel and breakers and the meter base together. I received a detailed estimate very quickly and when I called with questions about it, I was put in touch with Justin, their lead technician. He was knowledgeable and thorough and they got me on the schedule ASAP.

Both Justin and Elephas came out to do the work. There was a bit of a mix up with the electric company getting out here to de-energize, and they did as much as they could to prep and set up while waiting, then they were efficient and thorough while working, and took the time to walk me through everything once they were done. They stated on-site until the power company came back and restored us, so they'd be sure we were all set.

I feel very confident that the work was high quality and both men were friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and patient. Good communication throughout the process, and anytime I had to call, I usually spoke with Skylar, who was also terrific -- patient, kind, followed up when I needed it.

I would definitely recommend Walker Electric if you're needing electric work done.

Would definitely not recommend.  Costly in more ways than one.  Paid to have a new motor installed.  Found out it was installed backwards.  They came, fixed it but now it is out of balance and leaking oil and has to be replaced after less than 2 years.  Will not be using Putnam!

We just had Lake Norman Electric install some lighting in our house in various locations and were very pleased with the services we received. The folks who answered our call for electrical services were very informative and professional. The electricians arrived on time and executed the work efficiently considering the high level of difficulty of the work being requested. In addition, when questions arose during installation, they reached out and asked questions to us before making any assumptions which was very much appreciated. In the event any future electrical work is required around the house, we'll definitely be giving them a call.

I needed a wall outlet near the ceiling for a TV we installed
Joe came to my home later in the morning, gave me a quote and then later in afternoon 2 of his partners came the wall outlet was installed

This is the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of working with. They had to come back so many times to fix the same issues. Didn't have the parts needed for simple repairs. Cutting plastic pipes and gluing them together instead of getting the right ones,  and chipping a $500 dollar vanity. They left the biggest mess I've ever seen.  Id never use them again. They left me without hot water all weekend, simply because they forgot to relight my pilot light.  I called on Saturday and Darrel said he'd have someone stop by but nobody ever showed up. This after I paid them for 3,000 dollars worth of work.  Never ever again.

Easy to deal with. Ask about the bill-pay program directly from your checking or VISA, they won't  suggest it to you.

When I called initially, I told the receptionist that our sewer pump was not working because there was something wrong with the control panel.  I told them that we were able to push a button on the control panel, which would pump sewage to the street, but that the control panel was no longer automatically doing this. When the guy came out he said they don't work on the control panels, stayed about 5 minutes and left. He told me all they could do was to verify the control panel was getting electricity. I told them that I was able to manually push the sewage to the street, so we already knew it was getting electricity. He stayed around five minutes and charged me the trip fee. When I called the office, they told me they would try to find someone to do the work, but never called me back.

I gave this 2 stars only because Cory was very personable when he was at my residence. Other than that, I would only give 1 star! The quote that was given to me for a few minor repairs was way overpriced. I replied via email stating that I would like to see the project itemized to determine if I may only have a portion of the work done. No reply. His quote of $829.25 is being done now by another electrician for only $250! That's a huge difference!

Since this review Polk electric has fixed all issues and made this right for me and my family.

I've used Gibson's Electrical a few times recently, originally at the recommendation of my real estate agent. They did a fantastic job with a laundry list of updates to the home I'm selling, including troubleshooting some nonsensical light switches, fixture installation, and a variety of other fixes. I also received above-and-beyond after-hours assistance when I had a mysterious, high-pitched noise coming from inside my house. The property management company was of no help, but Gibson's helped me try to solve the problem by phone and then showed up really quickly when that didn't work to make sure the issue was resolved so I could sleep in the house that night. Highly highly recommend!

I called for a quote to replace a flood light and to individually ground my circuit breaker box.
They had to schedule a visit in order to give me a quote.

When they arrived, they gave me an extremely high quote for both tasks.

Very disappointed.
