Attentive, knowledgable, and easy to work with. They do excellent, detailed work and seem honest & straightforward. I appreciate their responsiveness, attention to detail, that they clean up after jobs, and ease in scheduling. Definitely recommend. Will work with them again.

We had a big project that needed to have electricity wired. Digging, drilling, climbing in the attic etc...they guys did a wonderful & professional job. If you need it done and enjoy excellent customer service ( which these days is hard to find ) use them! Highly recommend! Thanks again

We just moved into our new house and found that one of our light switches was wiggly and we had an issue with our ceiling fan. I called GB Electrical and Jay came out soon afterwards. He replaced my wonky light switch and fixed my fan problem without issue. Such a nice guy and such a great job.

We've received service from Putnam within hours every time we needed them. Service providers are professional and efficient. Putnam's service prices are reasonable. We get maintenance twice a year on a system they installed. Overall, we have been very pleased with our Putnam experiences and recommend them.

I'm giving Lake Norman Electric 2 stars mainly because of their appraiser, Rob. I initially called the company to install an outlet over my fireplace so we could hang a TV there. They arrived the same week, were polite and did a great job. The two electricians that were in our home were very nice, professional, and answered all of my questions. While they were here, I mentioned that I would like to have lighting in my backyard. I'm planning a very large party in a few months and need to have some lighting set up. They informed me to get in touch with Rob, and he would come out and provide an estimate. I went back and forth with the office for two weeks waiting for Rob to get back to me. All the office could tell me was that Rob made his own schedule and they would pass on my message.  Finally, he did call on a Friday, and stated he would send me a text message on Monday to let me know exactly when he could stop by. Two weeks later and I am still waiting on that text.
If you need something simple done, like the outlet, their electricians were great. It was a bit expensive (Around $250 for a simple wall outlet), but it was very convenient to pay the bill online and the office staff uses text messaging which made communication very easy.  If you need a quote for something, I would suggest moving on to another company. You'll never hear from Rob.

I called Monday morning and my call was immediately returned.
I needed a wall outlet near the ceiling for a TV we installed
Joe came to my home later in the morning, gave me a quote and then later in afternoon 2 of his partners came the wall outlet was installed
They were quick, clean and courteous.
I would certainly reccomend them

Ok here is an update. Since I wasn't happy I called the company back. I spoke to Melissa very nice young lady. I told her that I wasn't happy and the issues I had. She listened and apologized. She said she would call me back. In 30 minutes because she had to look for my paperwork. She called me back this morning. And asked if someone would be home because technician is coming to look at problems. He did and was able to caulk the spot in my bathroom. Melissa called me to find out if it was fixed. I told her it was caulked. Technician had left. She sent him back to look at my moms bathroom. He tried to explain what I needed to order. She put someone on phone to speak with him. I will order piece I need and she said they will come to fix when it comes. This to me is good customer service. They are trying to make and unhappy customer happy.  I will give an update soon when just job is finally finished.

Easy to deal with. Ask about the bill-pay program directly from your checking or VISA, they won't  suggest it to you.

I gave this 2 stars only because Cory was very personable when he was at my residence. Other than that, I would only give 1 star! The quote that was given to me for a few minor repairs was way overpriced. I replied via email stating that I would like to see the project itemized to determine if I may only have a portion of the work done. No reply. His quote of $829.25 is being done now by another electrician for only $250! That's a huge difference!

Since this review Polk electric has fixed all issues and made this right for me and my family.

Gibson's Electrical & Lighting is the only company I'll use for all of my electric needs. They have been to my home twice for different issues. In both instances they were extremely professional. The second time they came to my home I feel like they went above and beyond. The owner, Matt, came himself and not only fixed some major issues in our garage, but helped to shift things around and move storage boxes to access the proper outlets. What I thought was 1 issue, turned out to be 2 and he fixed everything. I cannot say enough good things about this company!

I just wanted to have two lights hung. BTW they charge for everything. I am okay to pay a trip fee. They called backed a few hours moved appt to another day. Call the next day to ask me if I want the work done I say yes. They than charge $299 for whatever I can milk for you fee.  There pricing is HOW MUCH CAN I OVER CHARGE? Don't call these guys unless you enjoy bait and switch tactics and moving appts for their convenience. I found a nice ethical electrician to do the work.
