Attentive, knowledgable, and easy to work with. They do excellent, detailed work and seem honest & straightforward. I appreciate their responsiveness, attention to detail, that they clean up after jobs, and ease in scheduling. Definitely recommend. Will work with them again.

Art recently installed a ceiling fan for me at my home. I was very pleased with the level of professionalism shown and the quick, clean install. We would definitely recommend his services and will call him again when the need arises.

I called Southern Electric of the Carolinas (in Rock Hill) because I had a puzzling intermittent flickering lights problem on multiple circuits (but not all of them).  The owner, Tommy Palmer, came to check it out to provide an estimate.  He was able to quickly trouble-shoot and diagnose the problem.  He suspected a bad connection inside my electric meter box.  He immediately called the city electric company to open the meter box.  There was, in fact, a bad connection.  He immediately got a permit from the city to work on the meter and sent a crew (Ron & LJ) to work on it.  They had to coordinate their work with the city electric company to disconnect my electric service at the street, have the city inspector approve the repair, and then have the electric service turned back on.  They took care of all of the logistics and got the job done amazingly fast.  While all this was happening, they also did another minor job for me at the same time.  The bill for their work was quite reasonable.

We just moved into our new house and found that one of our light switches was wiggly and we had an issue with our ceiling fan. I called GB Electrical and Jay came out soon afterwards. He replaced my wonky light switch and fixed my fan problem without issue. Such a nice guy and such a great job.

Darrell and Justin were great! They installed the wiring for my ceiling fans in a very reasonable amount of time and they made sure that they cleaned the area when they were finished. Will definitely work with them again!

We've received service from Putnam within hours every time we needed them. Service providers are professional and efficient. Putnam's service prices are reasonable. We get maintenance twice a year on a system they installed. Overall, we have been very pleased with our Putnam experiences and recommend them.

LKN Electric put an outlet in above my fireplace for my wall mounted tv. They did an awesome job! They were right on time, worked quickly, and installed the new outlet with minimal dry wall damage. The pricing was very reasonable and I will use them again for sure.

Excellent work. Joe answered the phone on a Sunday and arrived the next morning at 8am. Fast, friendly, efficient at a fair and affordable price. Needed help after a storm left half my home without power. Thank you so very much!

Ok here is an update. Since I wasn't happy I called the company back. I spoke to Melissa very nice young lady. I told her that I wasn't happy and the issues I had. She listened and apologized. She said she would call me back. In 30 minutes because she had to look for my paperwork. She called me back this morning. And asked if someone would be home because technician is coming to look at problems. He did and was able to caulk the spot in my bathroom. Melissa called me to find out if it was fixed. I told her it was caulked. Technician had left. She sent him back to look at my moms bathroom. He tried to explain what I needed to order. She put someone on phone to speak with him. I will order piece I need and she said they will come to fix when it comes. This to me is good customer service. They are trying to make and unhappy customer happy.  I will give an update soon when just job is finally finished.

I have used them in the past . .always a problem getting the work done--before being billed.    Billing is done quickly, service is not completed.

Called them again today for service and said they would only come out if COD.

company again. They are very overpriced and use dishonest business practices. They will take your hard earned money and not guarantee their work and stick you with extra expensive fees that fattens their wallets. Avoid On Time Electrical so you don't regret it like I did. Do not be fooled by all their high ratings. Read the low ratings first.  Tells the real stories. Shop around this company is not reliable or honest. I wish I had!

Biggs Electrical has done numerous jobs for us and we highly recommend their services. This company goes above and beyond and the owner, Cory, goes out of his way to ensure excellent customer service. One of the most professional and courteous companies I have ever dealt with.

I'm not only upset about this situation, but I'm disappointed. I have an older home and have used Polk Electric a couple of times to fix electric issues I've had. I had them install some outdoor lights for me (that haven't worked since day 1 and still do not) and smoke detectors. I have called about the lights at least twice and each time was told someone would fix them and it never happened. I didn't sweat it though because the people here are really nice. They're a family owned company and I know things get busy, but I'm disappointed in the situation that I feel they have put me in.
When I had the installations done I told the worker, Kirby, that I wanted a rewire. It's an old home. I thought it might be a good idea. He assured me that it wasn't needed. Everything is working fine, he told me. He looked at my electric panels and looked at the outlets and I trusted his expert opinion. Over the summer I had what I thought to be an HVAC issue that turned out to be electrical. Mr. Pope came out and he and the hvac person figured out the issue and he did a temporary fix. He told me he had to order the correct part and the next day someone would be out to replace it and they would fix the lights. That never happened. This week I had the same issue again and called Polk Electric to come out. I spoke with them by phone twice and in person. No one showed up.
So last night I called another company. What they showed me was upsetting. The panel box was burned and unusable. It was a fire hazard. I am thankful that my home is still intact.
I trusted this company to fix my home, not put me in a position where I could lose it. Very kind people, but poor workmanship. While I won't use them again I do hope that they correct these practices. They have the customer service portion of business going strong, but it stops there.

UPDATE: Since posting this review the company has apologized for their actions and they fixed the outdoor lights.

Gibson's Electrical & Lighting is the only company I'll use for all of my electric needs. They have been to my home twice for different issues. In both instances they were extremely professional. The second time they came to my home I feel like they went above and beyond. The owner, Matt, came himself and not only fixed some major issues in our garage, but helped to shift things around and move storage boxes to access the proper outlets. What I thought was 1 issue, turned out to be 2 and he fixed everything. I cannot say enough good things about this company!

On 7/16/22 I called Mr Sparky to set up an appointment. I was told by call center that it would be 109.00. I saw this price when I googled electricians near me and agreed to the price and was told the tech would arrive at 10 am he called me at 11:45  And said I had to pay him 309.00 before he could even come to my house. I paid but was not happy and told him that was not what I was told or saw on line. When he arrived he told me he had called his boss and told him he could take the extra 200.00 I had paid off the bill. He then went to the breaker and checked the breakers then he checked the meter and one leg was not pulling in 120 it was only pulling 60. He told me Union power would have to come out. At the end of all this he then told me he was taking the 200.00 off the diagnostic charge. This time I was angry. This company charged me 524.00 just to come to my house and tell me the power Co would fix it. This is price gouging and I think it's against the law. I learned a long time ago that if a company does something extra good for you that you might tell 5 to ten people but if they do something extra bad to you tell a about 100 people. I'm working on my first 50 now. The only good thing I can say about this co is that Noah was very nice and friendly. I think Mr Sparky should Change their name to Mr Malarky.
