Best Electricians in United States
Rob came out to replace my ceiling fan and porch light. He was great, very punctual & communicated arrival timing, etc... His work was efficient and done perfectly.

I was impressed with the ease of scheduling wire 1 to come out and install our basement kitchen. We had to run an additional circuit from the panel in our garage through the heart of the house, through the floor, and into the finished basement. All of the electrical outlets work great, the quality of work was top notch, and the price was very reasonable for all the work done. Any future electrical needs that I have I will definitely use wire1 again, with zero hesitation.

Patrick was very communicative via text messaging before arriving so that he knew what my exact problem was. He showed up on time with the correct parts already in hand and was immediately able to fix my problem . He was very professional and would highly recommend.

My husband and I needed an estimate for an outlet that needed to be replaced. I called and talked to Adam Sloop. He said he could be at our house between 3-5 that same day. He ended up calling back and said he could be there even earlier if that was okay. He ended up being at our house before 2. He gave us a reasonable quote and was very professional and the service was fast. We will definitely be doing business with them again in the future.

Hocoa TOTALLY helped me out when I got jammed up this Summer. My house was about to go on the market when I got water damage from a clogged drain pipe in my attic, pushing my list date back by another week. The contractor I hired no showed on me and I frantically called around trying to find someone that would help me out. I'm not much of a crier, by that day when the contractor failed to show, I had hit my break point. When I got in touch with Hocoa, Craig assured me everything would be alright and he'd do everything in his power to get my home ready on time so I could list my house with no further delays. They completely came through for me, all the work got done on time to keep the list schedule and I was able to regain my sanity.

Awesome reliable service for a fair price! Highly recommend. We usually handle small repairs ourselves but needed a professional to handle this job.

My family has had to have Asset Electrical out to our home several times and they have never left us feeling anything but sure about the quality of their work and their company. I live in an older home and it is so important to me to have a trustworthy, reliable electrician that I can call for minor and major electrical issues that come up in all homes. I highly recommend Asset Electrical to all my friends!

Installed an outlet for a microwave so that it was on its separate breaker. Using the microwave used to trip the circuit. Very detailed and kind. Reasonable price.

Don't waste your time or frustration with this company. Sent 2 guys (don't know why people were sent, I assumed 1 was in training) to fix a very simple switch problem. Got a bill for several hundred dollars for a very simple fix. Still don't really understand why I was billed for 2 people. I had several other projects that were much, much more complicated including a rennovation/remodel and other projects on investment properties that I wanted to find a trusted electrician to work with. But after this horrible experience for a simple fix I would never consider them. For a service company their horrible billing practice was very short sighted. If my initial impression of them was positive I might have been working with them for years, but after that experience I can't ever consider them. I really hate to leave negative reviews but this one earned it. I should have trusted other reviews for this company.

Overpriced for the services provided. They sent journeymen to do the work. Electrical plates were installed unlevel. They had to use some of my personal tools to pull wiring.. Overall my biggest complaint was price and installation. Will not use this business again.

The name discount electrical is a joke!. We had a light fixture that needed repair and thought it was wiring. However we only needed a different type of bulb. I was shocked when we received a bill for $125 yes $125 to change a lightbulb. He showed up an hour late and had to use our ladder! We don't mind paying for someones time but this is price gauging at its finest. Someone with this type of ethics to charge that much for that level of work should not be in business. Please do your research and be aware so you don't have to over pay like we just did.

There are pros and cons to my experience.
Pros
The office person (Heather) is efficient and personable. She asked relevant questions. She arranged for an electrician to arrive within thirty minutes. She called the following day for feedback on the job performance.
The electrician (Don Williams) called before arriving; he is polite and seems careful.
Cons
The service fee is $95 plus $95 per hour for any work performed. I was advised of the fee prior to booking the appointment. The $95 charge for travel time is too expensive.
Job Performance
The problem is a non-functioning electrical outlet. It had functioned for many years before power suddenly failing. The outlet is on a custom-painted wall. After exploring options, the only one was to open up the wall and trace the electrical wire to its source, hoping to discover why electricity was failing. I opted not to do this because of the expense of repairing the wall even if the electrical problem was resolved. My total cost was $190 ($95 for arriving and $95 for time spent).
End Result
I have several electrical issues to be resolved that will take considerable time. I intend to address these after Christmas 2016. Because of the courteous and prompt response, I will consider calling Father and Son Electric again. However, the $95 service fee will be a large consideration in my decision.
