Bates electric came through again for me. A professional job completed by Pete Herres. Tech was prompt, courteous and after listening to my concerns was focused on the details.  His manner left me confident that the job would be done right. Thank you pete and bates electric.

My experience was positive overall.  Great communication, arrived on time, and went above and beyond to troubleshoot my electrical issue.

Gus Ballas (Wolf Electric) will be our go-to fellow when it comes to our electrical needs.  Not only was he prompt and professional, he kept his word about keeping his appointment to come to our place when other electricians either failed to call us back or, worse, scheduled, then cancelled, then couldn't be reached.

I'm almost hesitant to give Gus of Wolf Electric such high marks because I may not be able to get him out here again because he will be so busy.!   Just kidding.  Please call Gus - you will be really happy you did.  

He is knowledgeable, personable, thorough and reasonably priced.  He won't quit until the work is done to his absolute perfection!

We wanted to replace the 15 year old halogen under cabinet lights in our kitchen. Chris took the LED's we purchased and had all four in place and looking fantastic In less than an hour.

I'm new to the area and needed an electrician to add some new wall outlets and change some light fixtures.  Mr. 900 Electric was responsive and very honest.  After having 2 other quotes I chose Joe and couldn't be happier. Moshe did a fantastic job replacing three ceiling fans at our new house. He was prompt with communication and arrived on time. One of the fans I'd ordered from Lowe's was defective, but we didn't find out until after Moshe had it installed. He removed it, boxed it all up to return, and didn't charge me anything, even though he still had to do all the work. He'll be coming back out once I get a replacement from Lowe's, and he's earned our business for life! He was also very friendly. I can't recommend him enough!

This family owned business is professional, knowledgable and honest. Bobby & Sheryl truly care about their customers and go over and beyond to make sure they take care of them.

I had a GFI outlet go bad & not reset.  Even more aggravating was that it was the outlet/wall that my internet, cable and security system were running from.  Mark from David Long Electrical came out quickly and replaced the outlet getting everything up & running with haste....very professional and courteous.  $182 total.  Could not have had a better experience!

Needed an electrician to install a dining room chandelier and a dimmer swich for same.

Found Curt Johnston and Canaan Electric in the Yellow Pages (yes, they still publish the Yellow Pages).  Curt provides free estimates for your project before he starts any work.  He showed up when he said he would to provide the estimate.  His basic hourly rate is $55 which seemed standard for this area.

He showed up the next day to complete the work.  He was here on time, he was efficient about his work, he was as neat as possible while working and cleaned up before he left.  The final bill was exactly what he'd quoted the day before, not one penny more.

BTW, he's licensed in both NC and SC and insured.

I'd use Curt again and I'd recommend him to others.

Completed online form for a quote, no response. Tried calling, no answer. Left a message and was texted back for information and picture of the space where I wanted the tv mounted. Answered all questions that were texted to me and they just stopped responding. Waste of my time and awful customer service experience.

My update is immediate because as I was looking at them on Yelp & it looked like, in fact, they do residential!  I called the company to confirm & yes, they do.  I will update again after I experience their work.

They were pleasant in telling me they don't do residential work & gave me the names of Roger & Dan at Simpson Electric.

If I could give zero stars I would.

Things started off great with Tom at Providence Electric.  We e-mailed back and forth to try to get things nailed down for a project (recessed lights and pendant lights in the kitchen) that was supposed to be a birthday present for my wife.  Got the price and appointment all set up and 15 minutes after Tom was supposed to be at my house he calls saying he didn't put the appointment down and was at another project and couldn't do my job that day.  Then when I tried to reschedule for the next day he completely went back on his original price and tried to increase the price by 25%.

I can't believe this is how someone does business.  I couldn't believe it.  Then he declined to do the job at all because he didn't want to do it considering I was frustrated with the situation.

Thanks for ruining my wife's birthday present because now I have to go find another electrician and schedule some other time around the holidays to get this done after we all took time out of our day to get this set up.  Unbelievable...

Beware a co. called Parts Charlotte (electricians) aka TNMS.
They were referred by my Home Warranty co. and have no showed 4 times! Yes, 4 times. They finally called today saying they were on their way, be here in 30 minutes, that was 4 hours ago. They do not return phone calls, texts, voicemails, or emails. They have an excuse every time, broken computer, broken truck, bad brakes, ....The Worst service  I have EVER experienced!
