Best Damage Restorations in United States
Last year a hose blew off my neighbor's toilet and sprayed water all through her house the Saturday before Labor Day. We have patio homes that share a common wall so some of the water leaked into our garage and my closet and bedroom. The water damage was sooo much worse at my neighbor's. I called PureTec and Darren was at our location in the west valley in under an hour. Fortunately the damage on my side was minimal. He pulled back the carpet and got a fan going until his team could get there and pull up the padding, etc. They had us back to normal in a few days. It was watching Darren helping my neighbor that was truly amazing. He calmed her down and sat with her at our kitchen table and patiently talked her through the entire process that was about to happen, and he helped her collect what she needed to spend the night with family. He worked diligently with her homeowner's insurance to ensure that the extraction and drying was covered, and I can't even remember how many times he came by to check on us, and our neighbor while she was working with the packing company to remove her belongings to storage while the restoration work was being performed. If any of my friends even mention a water problem, I am ready with Darren's card. PureTec is a company that operates with integrity in an industry where many do not.

Ryan did a fantastic job cleaning up some mold that was found inside our wall from a cracked tub. He was very professional, easy-going and friendly-he got the work done quickly as well. Now we are at ease that we are completely mold free and the area looks great. Definitely recommend is you are looking for a mold- remediation company in the valley!!

We have used AZ Carpet Restoration for years in our business and our home. Their crews are quick, efficient and professional and go above and beyond our expectations. Unfortunately, we were treated to a holiday electrical fire in our store last year. Thanks to Russ's son-in-law who pitched in on New Year's Eve - we re-opened New Year's Day. I highly recommend AZCR and even give them the keys to my home or business to complete jobs.

We had water damage in our home, called SERVPRO & they responded quickly, moved furniture/appliances, removed the water, set up fans to dry. They came back twice a day to check progress. Employees were efficient, very respectful & went above & beyond. We highly recommend this company!

Garbage company!! They got in through a reputable plumber for a pipe issue. Charged a ridiculous amount for TEN fans for two 8x10 ft bathrooms that kept blowing out the breaker in my condo. Came back unannounced multiple times a day. Ripped out drywall that was absolutely dry, and tried to hustle my insurance company for bogus extras. After over a week, I finally succeeded in kicking them out. They ripped out a bathroom vanity and left a huge hole to peek into the neighboring condo without permission while getting their equipment and left it that way. Billing was a nightmare and had to settle the matter with legal help.

The roofers communicated well, did a thorough and attractive job, and considered appearance and tile match on my old, outdated tiles. They did the job contracted by a solar company, so I can't comment on cost or estimates. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars.

Great service! My water heater leaked last week, and I was referred to ecodry by a neighbor. My experience was great from the first call to the repair work! Erica was very helpful and friendly on the phone, explaining exactly what was going on, and the technician that showed up for the repair was extremely friendly and professional. It honestly looks better than it did before! Couldn't be happier!!

We had a fantastic experience with Stratton Restoration. I would recommend them to anyone. When our house flooded one night, we called them the next morning and they got the process started quickly and easily. I was expecting a hassle, but Jake was on the phone with the insurance company within the hour. Next thing I knew I got a call from Wes who did all the project management. On top of that, my wife and I weren't the easiest people to work for.
We probably changed our minds 5 times about the restoration project, but they were really professional and helpful. Gabriel did the on site QC and made sure the job was done right. My wife and I were impressed all around.
I've heard a lot of horror stories, but these guys were the furthest thing from that. If this ever happens again, I know who to call.

They came out quickly to the 1st appt to sign the contract, then it got awful...I'm shocked by lack of keeping their word with missed appts and not calling back as promised...and unfortunately needless damage detailed below. Integrity is key in this business...I hired Richard Appel, owner of Drystar, signed their mandatory contract & gave my trust as the sole contractor to work with my insurance company on an unexpected water damage claim Jan 2019.
At their 1st visit to home, men placed wrong tape instead using turquoise duck tape on modern home ceiling to hold plastic for taking out counters on insurance claim access, immediately pulling off the smooth texture mud & paint from professional drywall ceiling at the site unnecessarily causing more damage to home. They continued taking out the 3 cabinets and in this process, dented the side of the stainless steam dishwasher, hit both sides of the hanging shoulder height dark cherry Thomasville cabinets above their work on either side, leaving obvious pale wood unfinished gouges and then removing remote powered under-counter 15 tv combo unit, dvd, music player, they left broken pieces found on the floor which control the unit to remain flat when not in use. Richard Appel's men immediately apologized, said no worries they will take care of the damage. Next step & 2nd visit, his 2 estimators come to do a full total of the claim and pack out.
They said they would have totals probably by end of Wednesday or Thursday. Instead a week later I call and ask if they have them ready to go over and they said they would get back with me. Then one of his men, said they have too much other work and won't be continuing with this job; dropping their responsibility. Their contract specifically reads to please contact them before the Registrar of Contractors, which I did following not finishing the totals I was waiting on. Again, no response. I turn as see they have given me their business card asking me to go on Yelp and give a review.
Very disappointing, they were paid in full within 10 days as their contract demands and absolutely NO actions towards addressing and completing promptly this matter when I asked by calling and by written email to date as listed again in their contract to do. I hope I hear back from you Richard confirming you will pay today for these damages, without further delay. Thank you.

Posting for a friend who doesn't have social media (I personally haven't done any business with Silver City). It's been a nightmare dealing with Silver City. They were assigned by USAA to restore his house after the July monsoon flooding. SC came out early in August and tested ceiling for asbestos, and even removed the popcorn ceiling, exposing the interior roof. About a month later, they came back to test the flooring for asbestos (why couldn't SC test the floor and ceiling at the same time?) and removed some of the damaged carpet. It's now October, and my friend called and left several messages and never heard back, so he drove to visit SC's office personally to complain about about why there's no communication from them. My friend was told SC will reassign his case to a different project mgr. Finally around Thanksgiving, my friend gets a call giving him a move out date to a nearby hotel so SC could work on his house, and was told the repairs would be done around the first week of January. SC packed up his house and moved the rest of his personal possessions into a huge storage unit located on his driveway, removed the old carpet, scraped and removed the asbestos laden popcorn ceiling off and covered the exposed area with plastic, and put plastic around his big screen tv and refrigerator, and removed the oven and dishwasher and moved it into his garage, as well as took out his toilets.
In December, my friend is spending the holidays staying at a nearby hotel. But no work is being performed on his house. Maybe because it's the holidays, SC decided to take the holidays off. Shortly after the new year, SC finally calls my friend after not communicating with him since he moved to the hotel, to tell him he'll call him in a few days w/ an update. A few days goes by but SC never called him back. Just last Thursday the adjustor from USAA called my friend to ask his permission to fire SC because apparently USAA tried to reach out to SC several times also and left several messages, and SC didn't return USAA's calls either. So USAA said they're done dealing with SC and assigned a new restoration company to fix his house. And now my friend has to start the wait all over again. The USAA adjustor is well aware that my friend has been living in a hotel since Thanksgiving weekend and couldn't be more apologetic for all the delays and no communication and (almost) no work done by SC. I just hope SC doesn't keep my friends possessions they put in the storage unit hostage.
Read the Yelp reviews here. I notice many positive reviews are at least a couple years ago, so the quality of their customer service has declined during the pandemic. Sure, there are supply chain issues now, however SC's problem is their lack of communication to the customer AND TO USAA. Why USAA still continues to assign SC to their members in spite of the negative reviews here is beyond me. If your insurance company assigns Silver City to be your restoration company, you may want to pass and either ask for a different company, or if you do your research, you may find another company that has better reviews and doesn't blow off their customers. USAA originally trusted SC to repair my friend's house, and then fired them. That should tell you something about the integrity of SC.

Called the company to get a quote/estimated for the recent storm damage in our property. Ramon and Jeremy are two very nice and knowledgeable gentlemen who seem very committed. They even came back days after to pour water over the roof of the house to pin point where the leak was coming from in which they absolutely did. Now came estimate proposal to my insurance, they did not follow through. Ramon said that it will be there but it's three weeks later, no proposal. They don't even answer my calls and texts. I am now dealing with another company.

This has been smoldering with me for a number of months. This was a disaster. Craig came out and talked big on how they were called out to fix Coit failures on travertine floors and told me how he would be able to fill cracks and pop outs as if they were not there. He would use top of the line products and our floors would look very nice. He quoted me a price that was what seemed a little high however ensured excellent quality work. Included in the price was furniture moving. When he came out he showed up alone (said his crews were on other jobs) and I had to leave work to help him move furniture. He then cleaned and stripped the floors. When I went back to work he was short with my wife when she asked about filling the cracks and pop outs. He stated he had not planned having to take care of all of the pop outs. He then proceeded to use sanded caulk grout for filling the imperfections instead of travertine filler. He made a mess on the floors with the caulk and did not clean the excess up. Needless to say the filling was horrible. Then he applied a sealer which he apparently was not familiar with and made a tacky mess of my floors. It took 8 days for my floors to dry and by that time they were a dirty mess from dust blowing in. I contacted him to come back out and clean the floors and he was very short and upset. He did come back out and did a light strip on the floors (again I had to help move furniture), which helped some but far from the result he promised. When he left after the re-clean he never even asked if we were satisfied and just disappeared. What even makes it worse is he stated We should have ground the floors and redid them which would have only been about $1000 more than the $1900 for the clean and seal however he initially told me it would be several thousand more to grind the floors. Also he apparently forgot what he charged me for the original job, $2250. This guy was a joke. I did call another company and they stated the could come out and fix his work for about $750. I guess I have learned an expensive lesson and everyone needs to watch out for this guy....
