Best General Contractors in Phoenix, AZ

I am a licensed Realtor who has relied on Fix My House to take care of many projects for my clients.  Most recently FMH took care of several needs for a client that needed work done on a newly purchased house before move-in (i.e.:  replacing fixtures and flooring, fixing drywall and stucco, repainting, etc - there was nothing that they couldn't handle!)   Joe is super friendly and a consummate professional.   Mark is a craftsman and a perfectionist with an eye for detail.   I will definitely work with them again.

Highly recommended. Hired them to do some remodeling.  Upgraded my carpet flooring to tile. Also had some drywall repairs with new paint.  They were in time, clean and I didn't feel robbed. Very honest contractor who does quality work.  Highly recommended

We had a flood at our rental. The complete destruction of our dining room happened. Red Eye Construction came in and did a beautiful job with the put back and with quality materials, and in a very timely manner. They worked so well with our tenant who is having a very rough time in his personal life right now. I highly recommend this company you will not regret this choice in hiring Red Eye Construction to do any remodeling you may need.

We had rain damage a month before the upcoming holidays. To our dismay we needed a new roof and our ceiling repaired/restored. My parents worked with Schott Development and highly recommended them. They came out right away to assess the damage, provided very competitive pricing and were able to schedule us for repairs within weeks.

Their customer service, speed and quality was incredible! Their team replaced our roof underlayment and restored ceiling within 4 days. I highly recommend Schott Development. Save yourself the time and trouble of comparative quotes. Their responsiveness, price and quality is unmatched!

We hired Nordic Improvements to update our fireplace and they did an amazing job. Stein and his team were very professional and were a joy to work with. All of the requests and work were done as described.

Highly recommend Sigi and his crew! Super easy to work with. His pricing was very fair. I had an entire 2nd story deck rebuilt and house leveled by replacing the support beams in my carport under my master bedroom. The work was top notch. Every question was answered and the crew even made suggestions to help save some money. Special shout out to Tim and Adrian who worked their tails off to make sure everything was right. Even when there were minor issues, they were resolved immediately. I would absolutely use them again. You wont go wrong using Southwest. Thanks for everything Sigi!

I had granite done by Apache tile for my townhome, which I was preparing to sell. This company was wonderful to work with and got everything done in the time frame they promised. There was a discrepancy in the measurements between the drawing my husband brought in, and the correct measurements as done by their installer ahead of time. Ben really worked hard to make it work for us at a small additional price, as my husband had not calculated the need for an island piece (which required a whole additional sheet of granite). We ended up getting a bathroom counter done too, and the customer service was exceptional throughout this process. The installation was perfect, and on time and the black galaxy looks awesome!

We had hired XLT (Leonel) for a kitchen remodel and were very dissatisfied with Leonel as we saw him to sign the contract and never saw him again until he wanted the rest of his money. He is the guy that gets the job and then subs the work out to other contractors. There was no oversight or coordination of work at all by XLT. When I needed his electrician to come back, I was told to call him directly, when we needed tile put in, I was told to contact the GC he subbed the job to. I thought I hired XLT to be the general contractor! When I expressed my concerns with this arrangement, he said he's too busy and couldn't possibly visit jobs and follow up on them. In his defense he will answer his phone.

Another disappointment is when the cabinet company failed to supply drawings on how the soffit above the refrigerator needed to be constructed, they wanted to hire XLT to rework the soffit at their expense but Leonel refused to do the work so they had to hire another company, again a lack of coordination of trades could have prevented this in my mind.

TJC did some remodeling in our bathroom.  They did a great job.  They put plastic on the carpet when they first got there and kept things cleaned up each day.  They were there when they said they would be - very dependable.  They did good work and were very fair.  Everyone I dealt with was very nice.  From the start of the process to the finish...I was very happy.

When my husband and I bought our winter home in AZ, we asked around for recommendations for a contractor.  The common denominator ended up being Slade at Trinity Homes.  After returning to Minnesota, we contacted Slade via phone.  He and his great team did a wonderful job of remodeling our entire home.  They were all very professional and trustworthy.  Slade was in regular communication with us through email, phone, and texts.  The quality of workmanship exceeded our high expectations.  We confidently recommend Slade and Trinity Homes.

I think its fair to say that a large percentage of remodeling projects end with either a desire for divorce, to torch your contractors truck and office, or both. Not so with our most recent significant remodel,

Working with our contractor, Jerry Nowell, his office and the highly skilled and good natured subs he employed, resulted in an experience and outcome that surpassed our expectations. Jerry is a standup guy who was always keeping us updated on all aspects of the project including the good, the bad and, on occasional, ugly. If there were hold ups he was very quick to let us know why and what he had done to address the related issue.. No surprises. When we found ourselves questioning how we wanted to proceed on some aspect of the project, his experience and good eye proved invaluable in the decision process. On many occasions he helped steer us clear of making unnecessarily expensive decisions ,often showing greater concern for our stated budget than we.

Jerry has the unique gift of bringing calm to even the most hectic and potentially stressful aspects of the process. In short we can't recommend him highly enough and or begin to express our true gratitude for his professionalism, honesty and patience throughout the process. Marcus and Kyler are life savers!  My daughter and I were living in a disaster left by the previous contractor.  I was out of money, time, and patience.  The price was very reasonable, and they started the work immediately.  They worked very hard to get things done on schedule, but took the time necessary to do things right.  They went above and beyond in everything they did.  They are kind, trustworthy, and highly skilled.  I will be using them for phase two of my remodel, and refer them to anyone that will listen :)  I couldn't be more satisfied or appreciative of the work they have done here!

Chris installed a custom window to enclose an office space in a second floor.  He does quality work. He is very detailed oriented, responsive, and a good planner. He sent us a design and was so impressed that he understood what we wanted.  Highly recommend his work.

I had a depth conversion done by Blue Dot Pools.  They did a great job.  It took a little longer than expected and I had a couple problems with the workmanship of the subcontractors along the way.  They resolved my issues to my satisfaction and the pool looks really good.  James and John were really good to work with.  I would recommend Blue Dot Pools.
