Used these guys for several upgrades over the years from adding a hot tub, ceiling fans, can lights and even had them change the whole service panel at my mom's house. As good as it gets!  Raphael installed new switches and a two Panasonic Whisper Ceiling ventilation fans in our master bathroom.   Installation was professional, fast and very tidy.  What I liked most about Raphael's approach to installing fans and recessed lighting was how careful he was not to make unnecessary holes in the drywall to pull wires, etc. He was careful to make the ceiling cutout a perfect fit for the fan. We have a 1 story house with good attic access and he worked in the attic rather than cut more drywall holes.   Have had electricians that punched crazy holes in the ceiling and the cost to repair drywall can really add up.

Erik put a new AC in our home last year and has come out to service it on his own.
He also did electric work on our stove and the backyard.

fast response to website booking. booked a day for them to come out. two guys arrived for the estimate. which I believe was fair not sure as I have never used an electrician before. we discussed what was needed and scheduled the date for the work to be done. was told a time and date and when the day arrived the guys were not there. I called after waiting for about 15 minutes to see what was up. I was informed that the time was pushed back. i wasn't informed called or emailed. was upset as this was scheduled for 7am and woke up on my only day off to accommodate the install. Anyhow after getting excuses i asked for them to call me with when the guys would arrive. About 45 min later I received a notice that a tech was on the way. It was not the guys who originally gave me the quote which was odd as they made it seem as though they would be returning. Vehicle that arrived was not a zappo so when he came to my door I was surprised. The young man was on que and did the work that needed to be done. Clean up could have been a bit better but overall he stayed on task and was efficient. I may give them another chance who knows but bad taste to start with.

My water heater wasn't working in the home I just moved into, they walked me through all the steps needed through messages. Got it working in less than 20 minutes on a Sunday evening. Wonderful service!

I had a easy request...I need an outlet in my garage for my refrigerator that will not trip the breaker.  I say easy but the breaker is over on the other side of the house.  I talked with the technician gave him all the information and he said no problem we can come off this line here punch it threw the wall drop it over here and you are done.  Here I am worried that there were going to be holes in my walls and drywall patching that would be visible.  That would be the problem as my wife is very picky when it comes to what is visible.  But not a problem they came in, did the work, it took a short amount of time, and the price was reasonable.  I came home and did not think they even showed up because I could not see a mess nor any problems.  They patched it perfectly, painted where they needed to and made it look perfect.  I highly recommend this company and I think this is my second Yelp comment ever.  They deserve the recognition and praise.

Hired Extra Electrical to lay a line in the backyard for a pool heater. They did the work over the weekend while nobody was home, and when I returned to see their work, I was appalled. The backyard was still trenched out, dirt everywhere, and my irrigation had been lines cut. Extra Electrical failed to complete this job in a workmanlike manner, and I would give them 0 stars if I could. I'm sure Extra will defend by saying we signed a mandatory waiver absolving them of any liability for the lines being cut, or that the trenches needed to remain unfilled for somebody to come repair the irrigation lines they destroyed, although our contract states nothing to this effect. Whatever they may say, nothing would justify the damage they caused to my irrigation system, nor leaving a job site in a state of incompletion. This is my experience, please strongly consider your other options before hiring Extra Electrical, and please ignore the 5 star reviews that mention nothing about Extra's actual work.

They cancelled my appointment because technician had an emergency.  I said OK, please come tomorrow because my electrical problem is an emergency too.  They said sorry it will be another 5 days.  Awful.  Clearly this business does not go the extra mile to help customers when a problem arises on their end. Stay completely away from this business!

I have worked with Tucker Hill on several separate projects.

- Installing a 29 light fixture on a 20 ft ceiling
The level of service that I have received (like at most larger brands like TH) vary depending on the technician/expert/contractor that comes out and does the work.

My most recent experience (the installing of the 29 light) with Brandon Brady has been extremely stellar! In fact, I believe I will request to work with him exclusively from now on (for my home and my business of property management). Nick, who came out to help was pretty good as well.
Brandon was on time, professional, courteous, and (most importantly careful and detail oriented). To share my experience, I had a 29 inch pendant light made of capiz (the inner lining of shells) hung from a 20ft ceiling. He was very careful, not a single shell cracked or flaked. Also, he continually asked if I was comfortable with his installation and adjusted the pendant height multiple times to get it to my ideal height for the entry of our home.
I know Tucker Hill's pricing for electrical work is not as competitive as other contractors in the valley, but for Brandon Brady's care and attentiveness to detail and hard working attitude, the price is worth it.

Brendon did great, and I will definitely be asking for him to visit our sites when we need electrical work.

These guys are awesome! The level of professionalism, thoroughness and outright dedication to completing the job is unparalleled. Dakota is not only dependable, but trustworthy and of the highest integrity. He took the time to give me a fair quote, explain the order of progress and the overall requirements for the desired finished product. Prior to any additional work, he always confirms that it is good to continue and explains the necessity involved. Today alone he simply came out after seeding both my front and back yards to ensure that the sprinklers were functioning properly and that there were no other associated issues. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH. He will be my landscaper for as long as I live in Peoria...or until he retires lol. Thanks again Boss!
