Zappo Electric

We found Zappo through Home Depot where we purchased 4 new ceiling fans.  They installed the fans and provided us with an estimate for installing 10 new recessed led lights, moving kitchen wall outlets, and installing 2 chandeliers.  We had those recently installed and are extremely satisfied with the result.  Communications are great with them in scheduling the work.  Rick in the office is always on top of things.  They send a text when the electrician is on the way.  Electricians are extremely knowledgeable and work smart.  Gary, who did most of our work, is incredibly easy to work with.  He gets the job done and cleans up when he is done.  A real can do outlook which is rare these days.  We will also use them to install kitchen cabinet lighting shortly.

Needed an electrician for a small but complex job.  Brian responded right away and communicated well all the way through the job.  His price was great as was his work.  You can tell he is good at what he does and enjoys it.  Zappo is my new go to for all things electric!

They send me a technician and he gave me an estimate. I just asked for a small discount and technician called the boss for asking my request. The answer is unbelievable because boss increased the estimated price at that moment. Like a joke.

Meredith came to my home to see if I can get ceiling fans installed and even though we couldn't get them installed he was professional and was able to tell me what I needed to know on my options. Extremely kind and polite. I recommend them for any job. They are so honest it's refreshing

fast response to website booking. booked a day for them to come out. two guys arrived for the estimate. which I believe was fair not sure as I have never used an electrician before. we discussed what was needed and scheduled the date for the work to be done. was told a time and date and when the day arrived the guys were not there. I called after waiting for about 15 minutes to see what was up. I was informed that the time was pushed back. i wasn't informed called or emailed. was upset as this was scheduled for 7am and woke up on my only day off to accommodate the install. Anyhow after getting excuses i asked for them to call me with when the guys would arrive. About 45 min later I received a notice that a tech was on the way. It was not the guys who originally gave me the quote which was odd as they made it seem as though they would be returning. Vehicle that arrived was not a zappo so when he came to my door I was surprised. The young man was on que and did the work that needed to be done. Clean up could have been a bit better but overall he stayed on task and was efficient. I may give them another chance who knows but bad taste to start with.

My son moved into an old duplex that had been flipped by an ROC contractor who did the wrong wiring on the NEW microwave unit (not even up to city code). Every time it was used it tripped the circuit breaker.  
Brian and his crew came in, found problem worked with me to get the ROC company to pay for it and fixed same.  Will use again if the problem comes up.

EXCELLENT customer service, communication, prompt (he is there when he says), and exceeded my expectations.  I deal with contractors all the time, and Brian goes above and beyond.  My home was built in 1958 so it was a challenge from the onset.  But, Brian came through fast, he stayed on the inspectors from SRP and the City of Scottsdale, and ensured that everything passed inspection, in a timely manner.  He is a very honest guy, and even refused a tip, stating he charged me enough.  But, his prices are reasonable, especially for the extent of the work involved.  He is ethical, honest, and I would recommend him to anyone.

I will be needing more electrical work in a few months, and now I have found my electrician for life!

Brian and Zappo Electric is your one stop!!!!  We had electrical conduit being ran from our roof directly in front of a major drain and into our electrical box.  We were getting water down the conduit and in our electric box whenever we had rain.  Brian gave us a fair quote and did the work immediately.  He took great care in re-routing the conduit and the final result was extremely well done.  We will be calling Brian for some future projects.  He is honest, on time and takes pride in his company.  Give him a call and a chance.  You won't be disappointed.

I contacted Zappo about a really tricky light install in my master bathroom.  There are mirrors which extend from the countertop to the ceiling. Hollywood lights were mounted directly on top of the mirror (yes I was long overdue in changing them out for something more modern!).  I had no idea if we could remove the lights and replace them without breaking the mirror.
Jesus was amazing!  So thorough and knowledgeable. He was cautiously optimistic and persistent even though each of the three sets of lights revealed a new challenge for him to overcome.
I can't believe I have new lights after living with those Hollywood lights for 13 years!!  Thank you so much to Jesus!  You are the best!

If you are experiencing electrical issues and are apprehensive about hiring an electrician; please put your faith in this company. Brian was so quick, professional and fair. I would never consider any other company.

For 15yrs my outdoor lights went out everytime it rained. because the system ran thru many underground outdoor outlets it's expensive. I finally bit the bullet and got estimates: 1) $2400  2) $2000  3) $1400 all different variations of the same concept - the 4th was Zappo and I met Brian. He looked like a biker - I know I rode in a vicious club for 10yrs upon my return from Vietnam in '71 back east -- he had a completely different concept. He said $400 and I will be done in 2hrs. What would you do??
I said HELL YES and his idea has worked ever since that day in 2018.
As a matter fact during a pounding rain storm I went out on the patio and turned on all the outdoor lights AND they all worked -- I danced on the patio after 15yrs. I am willing to tell anyone that has an electrical issue if you call anyone other than Zappo Electric Brian Waalkens you are getting ripped off and getting less than the the best quality service. I am old now but it can go with out saying ---- I will never call anyone else for an electrical issue

Brian and Karl from Zappos electrical are awesome. same day fast service. They not only explained the issue in terms I could understand but showed me the problem. When I requested them to come back out they didnt recharge extra for the trip. My breaker is replaced and working great. Zappos electric llc
