I've been meaning to go here for years and never pulled the trigger to go. I've recommended  people to this place but never been only seen pictures. Finally went and this place is amazing. The staff are so nice and helpful. They have so much wood to pick from. If you have a big or small project they got it. I'm never going back to other suppliers for wood. I highly recommend this company and will be a long time customer.

The guys at Old Sol Lumber helped me select wood for a small vanity I'm building for my powder room. When one piece was cupped, they replaced it for me at no charge.

We went in to old sol to pick out lumbar for a barn door. We had never done a barn door before and the customer service and help they gave us what extraordinary! They walked us through what we would need- helped us narrow our decision down to our final pick then helped load it all up. We couldn't be more happy with the door! I came across this place and was looking for wood to do some projects.
I found this mesquite slab and made this from it.

This company is amazing! They took their time with us while selecting a 12' beam for our mantle. It was ready for pickup earlier than expected, which is hard to come by lately!  So affordable in comparison to another quote I received. They also have live edge slabs, cabinets, shelves, etc.

Old Sol Lumber is my Graceland!   Such an amazing collection of rustic wood panels, slabs, old doors & some with hardware.  The staff is super friendly and helpful, and a perfect example of how to treat customers.  My wife and I recently purchased some old barn wood to redo our bathroom wall & couldn't be happier! We will definitely be back!

Wow.  This place is way bigger than I expected.  It felt like a city block worth of warehouse and shop space!  They have tons of all kinds of reclaimed barn wood, live edge planks, etc, etc.  There is a giant cabinet making shop, and as if that isn't enough, this is also the home of Driftwood Cruisers...makers of super special wood beach cruiser bikes.  I felt like I walked out of AZ and into Oregon when I entered the compound.  Preston, the owner, was the one that helped us...he was super cool and personable. We needed wood to make our wedding arch and found some peeled pine logs that he gave us a great deal on. I hope to need some reclaimed lumber or something else again in the future so I can go back!

My husband and I were visiting our daughter in Chandler last weekend. We drove over from San Diego. From the moment we walked into Old Sol, we were all blown away! This place is a treasury in reclaimed wood. The guy that helped us, Steve, couldn't have been nicer or more knowledgeable. He explained the different types of woods available and was very patient with us in selecting what we wanted. The next time we need unique wood for a project in our home, we will make the 6 hour drive to Mesa, AZ because it is definitely worth it! They have the most amazing stock of live edge slabs that are breathtaking! Thank you Steve and all the wonderful folks at Old Sol. Go by and check them out, you won't be sorry!

This is a great place! Came in looking for rustic wood for shelves. Owner greeted me, clearly  busy but professional; he showed me a couple of good options and then left me to my own devices. When I found the wood I wanted the young man who was helping me told me to come back Monday to get the final cut peices, (it was sat) but the owner overheard, grabbed the wood, cut it himself right on the spot and waved the labor the kid would have charged me. Really fantastic experience! Looking forward to stopping back in for my next project!

Really cool local place with some unique materials you won't find at the bigger places

Old Sol was a great company to work with! We did a feature wall in our great room with reclaimed wood and it turned out amazing! I got a rough estimate via email from Preston and then went to the lumber warehouse to pick up the wood. The price was very reasonable and the installer Adam was a perfectionist and made sure it looked right. I will definitely use Old Sol again for future projects!

Love this place! 3rd time we've been in there for wood for a mantel and picture frames. The guy that works there is super cool, helpful and had lots of great suggestions. Great selection of all kinds of beautiful woods to chose from for any type of project.

We have struck pure gold! My husband is a woodworker and needs all kinds of wood at reasonable prices for his projects. I stumbled upon Old Sol Lumber today and could not believe the variety of rustic woods available. And priced as they ought to be. In a matter of seconds, Steve helped me choose the perfect piece from my description of what I needed and cut it for me. What a super nice guy, too. Women are sometimes ignored or condescended to in places like this, but not at Old Sol. I'd feel comfortable going there any time to pick out wood for my husband. He's probably pretty cool with guys, too, so if you need reclaimed wood, there is no better place on earth to go. Cross my heart.

Found this place searching online for a distributor of hardwood for some wood working projects.   Stopped in and Preston was great giving us a quick review of the warehouse layout and how things were arranged.  Quickly found a piece of beautiful walnut that will work for my project.  Just got it home and can't wait to get started.

This place is one of a kind!!!! Great old reclaimed lumber, windows, doors, and employees. This is my one stop shop for all the lumber I need for my DIY projects. The employees are so helpful, friendly and truly care about taking their time to help each customer that comes to their shop. Prices are so reasonable. If you have not visited Old Sol Lumber, you are missing out. Take the time to go and be amazed!!!

I can't say enough good things about Old Sol. Preston's passion for his craft is evident from the very first time you meet him.  If you want to decorate your home with art, this is the place to go.  Highly recommend this place!

This review is long overdue. I found these guys on craigslist about 6 months ago. Glad I did too! Found the perfect slab of Cherry wood for what I wanted to do. They gave me a 3 week lead time and called me up a week later to tell me it was ready. And it was beautiful. Now this is my GO-TO place for craft wood. Will be in there next week for the latest project.
