Best Landscapings in Arizona

Pablo and Carlos are awesome! Their team was fast and did an amazing job. I recommend them with more than 5 stars. I will definitely call them again.

RIPPED OFF!
They did not finish the job they were payed to do. I was told they would come back at a later date to finish and they never returned....he even seemed irritated when I was texting and calling him. I have all the text messages to prove this guy is a liar and ripped me off. The partial irrigation system they installed started to leak after a few months. DO NOT pay this man until the job is 100% complete....or, just save your time and go with a better and more honest landscaper.

They showed up as planned.  Finished the project in one day.  Had a couple of communication snafus, but were resolved quickly.   Workers were very courteous and very professional.   Would absolutely recommend them

Raul Montoya with Montoya's Landscaping LLC is nothing short of amazing. He turned our dismal dirt backyard into a beautiful grass-filled oasis! Raul leveled our entire backyard, laid sod as well as chose and laid brick to surround our orange tree and seperate our garden. He also installed our entire irrigation system with ease! My boyfriend and I are so excited to be able to entertain in our new and MUCH improved backyard! Thanks Montoya Landscaping!

I recently had JNK add pavers to my side yard, improve the drainage and reinstall a new pool electrical line under my turf.

Pros:
They are pretty responsive with getting back to you and give a decent quote that's not outrageous compared to other companies. While the paver work looks great, there were finer details missed.

Cons:
Originally they stated Oct 11th but upon my outreach to Naji that morning, he called me back and stated it would be the WEEK of the 11th. Not a big deal but word of advice, just be slightly flexible within a few days of what they state. Especially if you're arranging PTO or have dogs that roam in your backyard.

If you have turf that's pulled up for any work, be sure to walk the area after. There was about a 20ish turf nails not picked up/placed back into the turf. Can you imagine your dogs playing in piles of nails?

I had follow up with them to get the pile of left over sand/trash/paver pallets cleaned up, which they stated they would have someone walk the completed project with me - no one walked it with me. I reached back out the following weekend to have someone walk it with me to address some concerns with how the drainage would work. While they weren't able to make the Thursday appointment it was rescheduled for Friday...success.... someone finally showed up.  

Don't assume their expertise in this field, they installed the new drainage box a few feet away from the actual downspout of the gutter. Joaquin was sent out to look at this and stated it's normal. Unfortunately, I will need to fix the drainage since the water moves in the opposite direction from how the grading/pavers were done prior. Not sure why a drainage box wouldn't be installed right under the downspout?

Unfortunately, I can't say I would use them again for anything other than pavers.

Tip: be explicit with exactly where items will be installed and be flexible with your schedule.

I had them come out to spray and remove weeds. Within a week, the weeds were already popping back up and they keep on coming back.

I thought I would give them another chance, so I called them out for a quote to clean up my front yard. Now, it hasn't been trimmed in a while, HOWEVER, It's no where near overgrown, it just needed to be cleaned up and reshaped. They came out and quoted $195. I've had the front yard be in worse shape than it is now and a guy only charged $120 and did a great job. Too bad I don't have his contact information so he can get the money. When I mentioned that to Chris (from AMS), he didn't really care that someone has done it for less and just said OK and hung up. Wouldn't recommend them.

Lili was very nice and met me at the house at the time we arranged for an estimate. I had several tall palms that hadn't been cut back in a few years and the front and back yard had become overgrown. It was a very big job. Their estimate was reasonable. They were back in a few days when they said they would be to complete the job. Lili then sent me photos of the completed work. I was very satisfied with the results and would use them again.

I asked All Terrain to do a clean-up on my front and backyard, and they did an amazing job! We have have used many different landscaping companies over the years, and I have never had a company that was so detail-oriented.  My yard looks amazing!  Communication with staff-- from scheduling to estimates to billing was all streamlined and very efficient. I will definitely be hiring again.

We hired this company after our landscaper stopped showing up. They get 3 stars because they did an excellent job when they came out to do the clean up, granted we did pay them $500

Today was the follow up to begin regular maintenance. Here is what sucked:

1. I had to contact them 4 weeks later. They did not proactively reach out to me.
2. They took a few days to respond but eventually gave me a time slot.
3. They were 2 hours late to the time slot with no communication which would not be a huge deal but considering they only accept cash I had to rush to the bank when they appeared.
4. I got told it would be $80 to maintain my yard. Then I got told $100 and today I got told $150. This is 3x higher than any other landscaper I have had.
5. I got told for the cost today it covered reseeding but it did not and when I explained that wasn't my understanding I got asked How long have you lived here, you don't reseed yourself?

Unprofessional, disrespectful, unreliable and unreasonable

Omar and his crew were outstanding. He went above and beyond for our project which included planting 6 Ficus trees, adding irrigation to those and other existing plants, as well as spraying pre-emergent. I couldn't be happier and have to say my experience with him has been one of if not the best with all the landscaping companies I've dealt with in AZ

Juan came out for an estimate.  Very nice and prompt, however we never received a follow up with an estimate.  It's been about 2 months.  
You never get a second chance to make a good first impression.

Update to Original Review

I received the quote from Juan this morning (a few hours after original post).   Looks like he did send the quote mid-December 2021, however I never received the quote.   I'm changing my rating and will update if we chose this contractor for our project.

After getting tired of having to constantly go outside to water my trees, I decided to to look into getting an irrigation drip system. I requested an estimate for the job I wanted done on my home on yelp and Nicos Landscaping was one of the first contractors to offer to come out and take a look. Not only was Nicos Landscaping the first to come out and give me a estimate but it was the most responsible as well. I will definitely be using them for future projects for the quality of work, being on time and best price.
Would highly recommend to friends & family

My soon-to-be-ex-husband and I are trying to sell our house and we needed a landscaping professional to be available and do the job within a week. Robert made himself available to come out and do a quote and then do the job the same week. We had quite a bit of rain between the quote time and job time and weeds grew so the price increased by $100 (fair). Robert was communicative about this well in advance, showed up on time, and did a fantastic job.

I am not planning to do my own landscaping in my new home and I look forward to Robert taking care of everything there. He was prompt, professional, and did quality work. Hire him, you won't regret it!

Ivan and his crew did a great job cleaning up my yard. They were responsive and showed up on short notice.

What a fantastic gentleman to deal with. He contacted me quickly, was on time for the estimate. Excellent price, and the work was professional, and perfect. I scheduled him to do more work. Highly recommended!

I am thrilled by the work done by Rockwell Landscape Maintenance. I contacted Chance because my yards were a mess when I bought the house. There were a lot of bushes and trees to cut back, dead plants to pull out and debris everywhere. Chance was very communicative and quick to respond. The job got done on time and done right for a fair price. I highly recommend this business!

They provided a quote for a tree stump removal that was anticipated to be a 1-2 hour job. The stump ended up taking all day to remove. But they kept their original quote even though they had to stay longer. Great guys!

Had a problem with 2 of our sprinkler valves leaking, so I called Sprinkler Doctors. The receptionist was very friendly & professional and was very helpful when making an appointment. The tech who came out knew exactly what to do took about hour to tackle the job. I will definitely use them again.

Our yard was a mess ever since we moved into our new home. We initially reached out to Moises to clean up our yard and refresh the gravel. However, we saw examples of his work and were impressed. Moises and his team gave our sad, tired, yard a stunning refresh. I would recommend Moises and his very capable team for your landscaping needs. I've already started contemplating the next project to send his way.

When we moved into our home, we loved the house, but hated the back yard. So after a few years, we decided it was time to get er' done. I knew how I wanted it to look, and thanks to AZ Dreamscapes, that vision was realized.

I researched several Landscape Companies with most telling me the same things. It wasn't until i met with Scott that I realized I wouldn't have to have both cool decking and pavers. Scott told me about veneer pavers that go over the cement so there would be no transitions or marriage lines. That was news to me, and totally changed things. Prior to this, I was expecting to incur additional costs by having to re-coat the cool deck, something I really didn't want to do. We now have a paver paradise, haha. The look we have now is so much better than what we would have achieved from another contractor. Ours was not a small job, it was a complete backyard renovation, and AZ Dreamscapes pulled it off.

AZ Dreamscapes took care of the City permits and HOA paperwork. They did a great job and we have already had many compliments on how beautiful our yard looks. We know we will be making many family memories here.
