Best Landscapings in Arizona

I just wanted to write a review about this company and especially Pablo and his brother Carlos and their whole team.  I had been wanting to redo part of my backyard for a long time.  I called several companies, most never called back, 1 came out and gave me an estimate and then never called back.  I got a response from Pablo and he came out the next day.  I told him what I was sort of thinking and he immediately started brainstorming and really got what I was wanting. He sent me a quote and it was reasonable (lower then he other guy).  He started the next week.  It took them 2 1/2 days to finish.  They laid tons of river rock, made an incredible path with crushed gravel.  He made a border all around with metal edging AND added a ton of desert landscaping.  The whole team worked quickly and cleaned up everything.  I can't really put in words how much I love what they did.  I'm sure it has increased the value of my home.  If you want to hire a great team that takes immense pride in their work you don't have to look any farther.

This crew did the work as promised on time and without any changes to the budget for the project. Had my entire front drip system replaced plants pulled and replaced and re-rocked the entire front. Awesome service great communication first rate job. Will surely use Astonishing for all my landscaping needs

I called and talked to them in Sunday. He said he could get simeone out in Monday. Asked me to send picks of tree for a quote. I didn't hear back after I set picks. I called and he said he would get back to me in a little while when he was at lunch. He never called back. Hopefully you have better luck than I did.

Could not be happier with how our front yard came out, Raul and his team trimmed several of our trees, bushes and plants. We also had our drip system valves repaired. They were professional, meticulous and left our front yard looking amazing! Thank you Montoya's Landscaping! Highly recommend them!!!

We used JNK for a front & backyard landscaping project and we couldn't be happier. We completely gutted our backyard and it looks like a brand new house. From the very start Naji and his team were easy to work with, reliable and honest. They helped get everything approved by the HOA, answering questions and providing a lot of detail to make them feel comfortable with all the changes. The products (turf, pavers & travertine) they use are top notch brands which makes everything look that much nicer. The workers were super respectful, cleaned up at the end of each day and worked non stop until the job was done. Even in 114 degrees!! The pictures will speak for themselves, but look no further for all of your exterior landscaping needs!!

Very strange -- I can't reconcile all the positive reviews with my own personal experience. Called them up due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback on Yelp.

I had a few sprinkler heads that needed to be replaced/repaired/adjusted before I overseeded. Eli got back to me quickly and set an appointment on a day when I'd be at work, which was fine. On the day of the appointment, I got a call from the service tech telling me that my sprinklers were fine but my controller was broken, and it would be $385 to replace. I told him that the controller isn't broken -- one of the buttons is sticky, but the system is fine. On the other hand, the sprinklers are not fine, that's why I called. He told me the system was old and should be replaced. I gently told him that I would consider that, but I wasn't going to authorize a $385 replacement without getting a competitive bid, but in the meantime, would he please run and repair the sprinkler heads as I requested -- I mentioned the specific ones I had concerns about. He barked at me, but agreed to do so. I still haven't seen any paperwork or notice regarding what he did.

Maybe the service tech was just having a bad day, but I can't recommend these guys.

Appreciate that at least the owner posts productive and rational responses to reviews that show opportunities to improve. Nice to know that someone might be listening.

I have a pretty big yard and they worked hard all day and it looks the bests it's ever looked. I set up weekly service !

It doesn't get any better than this. First off, let me say I've experienced the worst of the worst when it comes to contractors so I know how bad it could be. However, All Terrain is the most professional, friendly, efficient and prompt company I've ever worked with. Adam came out and talked with us about our yard and I basically told him to do whatever he thought would look the best, because I read the reviews here and trusted that he knew what to do. I am SO glad I did!
The yard was completely transformed from dust/dirt to a beautiful and aesthetically pleasing hardscape. I was amazed at how much everyone got done in only 8 hours (it took 6 men working to get that done). I had total confidence in everyone from Michelle who answers the phones to Adam, who came out so quickly to the hard workers that were so meticulous and professional at the job site. I would recommend All Terrain to anyone wanting to avoid the pitfalls of cheap or DIY projects. These guys are professionals. Cleaned up after themselves, and advised us on how to care for the yard.
I will be calling All Terrain to maintain this beautiful yard and may ask about the back yard now!

Update: unfortunately I had to adjust my rating after work was done because of the lack of aftercare and followup. Adam advised me to call once grass began to come up for treatment, which is essential when you don't put down landscaping fabric, as Adam suggested when he gave the initial estimate.
I called repeatedly every day for a week, being told by the very nice receptionist that he would call me back, and would come out later in the week. Calls were never returned and weed/grass control had to be contracted to someone else.
seems like he just couldn't be bothered to provide the promised work which was a small job, once the major work had been completed. Very disappointing because of the great reviews here and the exceptional work done up to this point.

They showed up on time for the consultation and they were very patient with me even though I was running a few minutes. On the day of service, they came early and did a wonderful job. Very professional. Very polite. Would definetly use them again.

I was looking for a landscaper to remove a dead citrus tree and overgrown shrubs, grind a palm tree stump, remove weeds and do general cleanup of my yards.  I also needed five new plants to be planted to replace the ones being removed.  Omar was one of the few landscapers to return my request for a quote.  He met me the next day, and his quote was less than any I received.  He began the work per my schedule and completed quickly.  His work was excellent--exactly what I asked for.  I plan to use him on future landscaping projects.  I recommend him and his crew highly.

Honest, Professional, Respectful is what Windmill Landscaping is about. They are the only company that responded / kept appointment out of the 7 that I contacted on Yelp.   Juan is the most professional landscaper that you could hope to hire.  On time and follows up to all communications within a day.  He was infinitely patient with all of our changes, as our smallish project turned into a huge one.  Anything and everything I wanted a change on (many of those) was met with Juan's Not a problem, we can do that.  We ended up with two new fake grass areas (dogs LOVE their doggy grass), new back wall, huge paver patio, planting of my cocktail grove (lemon, orange and lime), many palms and most importantly, fixing my ancient irrigation system.  If Juan wasn't happy with the work done he would call it to my attention and have it fixed.  Worth every penny having the peace of mind that your contractor is ethical and knowing he expects the same amount of professionalism from his sub contractors.  Soon it is the front yard re-do and I would never use anyone else.  I have already referred him to a friend.

Unfortunately typically Landscaper that doesn't follow up and definitely not reliable.

I contacted Paseo through Yelp and Robert responded to set up an appointment at 10 on Thursday, which I approved. I received an email the next day stating that he did not get a response from me and if 8am on Friday would work. I said it would. Friday morning at 10 minutes before 8 I get another message that he is running late and will arrive at 9:30. That time came and went and at 10 I called and left a voicemail asking to be notified as to when I should expect him. It is now noon and I still haven't had a response.
If I can't trust someone to communicate effectively, I surely can't trust them to do a good job.
Please save yourself wasted time and energy by NOT using this company.

Ivan and his crew did a great job cleaning up my yard. They were responsive and showed up on short notice.

It was time for spring cleanup!!! I decided I'd sort through Yelp, look at a few reviews. I had a few landscaping companies in mind. I'm so happy Nick responded to my request for a quote promptly.  Nick met with me first, we walked around the property to discuss the mode of weed clean up. His team did an excellent job. They were fast, thorough, and careful not to step on my existing flowers. He hauled all the tree and plant debris away. Thank you for all your hard work.

I have been looking for a long time for a Pet Friendly landscaper who does a great job and who would keep my little boy safe and Chance and crew are those landscapers and they do a fantastic job keeping the whole place looking great too but my main concern is my pup, and I feel that Chance and Crew understands how I feel...Rockwell to me is The Very Best at everything they do keeping your Pet Safe and Landscaping...Eddy and I both Thank You ...

They provided a quote for a tree stump removal that was anticipated to be a 1-2 hour job. The stump ended up taking all day to remove. But they kept their original quote even though they had to stay longer. Great guys!

Admittedly, I'm far from a handy man. Couple that with moving to the desert and learning the importance of a properly run and maintained drip system. The outdoors are an all giving living space that requires some knowledge on how to care for your landscaping.

A flexible hose burst and was discovered over the weekend causing an immediate loss of pressure through the system. Not to mention a contributing factor that lead to an enormous water bill last month. Not cool at all especially when I just had my drips replaced by another company. However, my serviceman, Mark Dern, shared that there was no correlation with the previous company's service, but due to the heat and sun. It was a matter of time the tube would bust. Part of living in the sun.

Turnaround time from calling to getting Mark out here was within days. Mark was timely and called ahead providing an ETA. Thankfully the repair was quick as they charge by the hour. There is a $65 service charge that's applied to the first hour plus parts. Mark reinspected the system to detect any additional leaks. He also trained me on the timer before leaving. Great service by Mark. I kept his card and will request him again in the future when future repairs are in order.

I cannot say enough about Moises and his team. They were prompt, reasonably priced and did the job in a timely fashion.  Highly recommend them for any of your landscaping needs!

Contacted AZ Dreamscapes to come out and give us a quote on our backyard. We were looking to have grass w sprinklers and curbing done along with an area of pavers. Scott did contact us and set up a time to come out. He viewed the yard and we gave him a rough sketch of what we wanted. He stated he'd have a quote for us in around 48 hours. This was on April 8th. After about a week or so of not hearing anything, both my spouse and I reached out in two separate emails to see if a quote was ready yet from main website and stated that we had not heard anything since Scott came out. Never received a call back, email response, nor quote. Very disappointed with lack of communication and not following through. Better to just state you're too busy to take on a job or aren't interested...why even bother coming out and wasting everyone's time
