I asked to have trees cut, rocks racked and yard cleaned for a client of mine and Happy Trees work was unacceptable. I was on a time crunch and relied on them to be accountable. Paul was not responsive when I asked to confirm the day and time of work. His crew came and left with little to no work complete. I had to call Paul and describe how little work was done. Weeds still in the rocks, bushes overgrown not cut, never blown, and rocks on the grassy areas. Super disappointing and insult to injury the price was three times what a normal landscape cleaning would have been. I do not recommend ever using Happy Trees. Service made us very unhappy.

Hired them to fix the flower bed wall across the front of the house and clean it out, as well as repair a block wall on the side of the house.  They did a terrific job.  The revamped flower bed goes a long way to making the front of our house look so much nicer.  They were friendly and pleasant to work with.  I have more work for them coming up, and I will definitely be calling on them again. AND...my wife is SUPER happy with the results, so what more can I say about that?   Happy wife, happy life!!  Thank you, guys!

I usually don't write many reviews but I was so blown away by the work and service so I had to. I purchased a home in Gilbert back in may 2021. I am coming from seattle so I didn't have much knowledge on pools and what a proper Arizona backyard should consist of. After calling many pool and remodel companies who came out to bid the job and told me they can start in 6-10 months, I got back on yelp and stumbled across JNK landscape who responded to my inquiry on getting a quote within minutes. The owner Naji came to my house himself and gave me so much information on the things we could do to better our backyard and pool. What blew me away is he said we can start this in 3 weeks and his price was so much more fair than any of the other 10+ bids I got. In that 3 weeks I was able to work with naji on getting other things done like gas lines, and irrigation system to save time. Not only did these guys come in and start on time, they completely finished the project less than 2 weeks and the quality of the work was fantastic. Naji called me when they were done and I flew back into town from seattle and met him for a thorough walkthrough and I was just so blown away by the quality and detail. He made my vision of a backyard come to life. I highly recommend JNK for any pool or backyard remodel. Naji is a great guy and he runs a tight ship with his crews. Thanks again I'll be using you guys for other projects we have.

The worst company ever. Bad customer service, not responsible staff, billing issues and more. Better of find another company. Not sure why reviews are high.

I called them for an emergency yesterday and they were here within the hour and did a great job. their prices were more than fair. thank u so much!

Incredibly frustrating experience!

I'm only writing this review to help keep anyone from making the same mistake I did.

If you love highly frustrating experiences, go ahead and hire this company.  
If you like to avoid agonizing frustration, move on and find another company.

First, like I assume everyone else does, I researched dozens of companies for our tree removal project.  After seeing all the misleading, great reviews for All Terrain Landscaping and Maintenance here on Yelp, I decided to hire them for our project...  Tremendous Mistake!

First, there were basic communication issues, such as not communicating until the very morning of, which day the work would take place.  I called at 7am, asking for an update on the project and was told I would receive a call when they were expected to arrive.  I have to put my dogs away and open our patio gate to let workers inside, so I definitely needed at least a few minutes notice, but I had no update whatsoever.  
Some workers decided to help themselves, climb over the wall, started cutting off large pieces of tree, and freaking my dogs out.  I came out to ask them to stop so I could open the gate for them.  No one spoke any English.  Then I discovered, this was NOT the company I hired for the job!

The company I hired for this project was All Terrain Landscaping and Maintenance.  This was some second-rate tree company with a ONE-STAR average on Yelp!  
Completely unacceptable, as this was NOT the company I hired!  
Our HOA is so incredibly strict, we have to get approval for every company and need records of the companies we use or we could be fined.  I had no idea if the company sent here to work was even insured, which could cause all kinds of problems we did not ask for.  I was furious!

To make it all worse, Adam from All Terrain Landscaping and Maintenance was such a disrespectful, unprofessional person to deal with, he had absolutely no care about this whatsoever.  He tried to make this my fault!  How could I be responsible for this?

I couldn't even communicate with the workers because none of them claimed to speak any English.

Then, to make this all so much worse, I arrived home after work to find a huge mess!  Apparently, since the company I hired never even showed up to the work site that day, we now have to play the blame game of 'Who's Responsible for the cleanup?' which of course lands on me.

I had to hire a clean up company to come do all the cleanup of my house/patio/yard, my neighbor's patio AND the mess in the common area, or I would be fined by our HOA.  This clean up came from my own sweat and wallet.  I have repeatedly contacted and discussed this with Adam, and he's such a prick, he doesn't care whatsoever, and refuses to accept responsibility.  The original estimate I received from Adam listed 'Clean up' as one of the services they provided, so I assumed they were handling the cleanup, but instead I now had to pay twice for it.

Now, we have bigger, legal problems to deal with.

Again, I post this review as a warning to others.  I truly hope you do not have to deal with the stress, expense, unprofessionalism and frustration associated with Adam and this company.

Octavio and crew did an amazing job with our front yard and turned our barren wasteland of a front yard to a beautiful desert landscape. They were timely and finished everything at a fraction of what we were quoted by many of the other landscapers. We're actually getting ready for them to start taking a look at our backyard!

We installed a pool, but the landscaping wasn't included, so the surrounding area was just dirt. We got a few quotes on installing rocks, removing a bit of lawn, and installing a drip line for future plants. Omar's quote was the most reasonable, and he included everything, including the delivery of the rocks. Along with his team, Omar installed everything and sprayed for weeds in just one day! The area looks beautiful, and they left everything clean and organized. We will definitely be hiring Omar again!

Honest, Professional, Respectful is what Windmill Landscaping is about. They are the only company that responded / kept appointment out of the 7 that I contacted on Yelp.   Juan is the most professional landscaper that you could hope to hire.  On time and follows up to all communications within a day.  He was infinitely patient with all of our changes, as our smallish project turned into a huge one.  Anything and everything I wanted a change on (many of those) was met with Juan's Not a problem, we can do that.  We ended up with two new fake grass areas (dogs LOVE their doggy grass), new back wall, huge paver patio, planting of my cocktail grove (lemon, orange and lime), many palms and most importantly, fixing my ancient irrigation system.  If Juan wasn't happy with the work done he would call it to my attention and have it fixed.  Worth every penny having the peace of mind that your contractor is ethical and knowing he expects the same amount of professionalism from his sub contractors.  Soon it is the front yard re-do and I would never use anyone else.  I have already referred him to a friend.

We have a large side yard area that wasn't being used so we worked with Nico to transform this space into a play yard for our toddler. Nico was responsive and reliable and prices were fair. He also gave great advice throughout the process on the best way to design the space. Lastly, he finished the job early, which was a nice bonus as we were getting excited to finally use it. I'd highly recommend Nico for any landscaping needs.

Used them for a block wall repair.  They came back with very competitive price and came out next-day and did a great job.  Can't ask for much more than that!

Ivan and his crew did a great job cleaning up my yard. They were responsive and showed up on short notice.

What a fantastic gentleman to deal with. He contacted me quickly, was on time for the estimate. Excellent price, and the work was professional, and perfect. I scheduled him to do more work. Highly recommended!

This is the first landscaping service I am happy I do business with. I love my yard, but I travel a lot and spend too much time working these days to waste a Saturday a month in the yard. Rockwell has put my mind at ease for a reasonable price.

Overall, this company is everything a landscaper should be and at a very reasonable price.

They provided a quote for a tree stump removal that was anticipated to be a 1-2 hour job. The stump ended up taking all day to remove. But they kept their original quote even though they had to stay longer. Great guys!

Wonderful service from start to finish. My message was returned within 10 minutes,  Maria in the office was lovely and so accommodating.  She was able to get a technician out to me within an hour to fix the valve that was flooding my yard,which I truly appreciate.  Mark, my technician was incredibly professional, prompt, kind and repaired my valve very efficiently.  He took the time to explain how the system worked, showed me how to make adjustments and where the shut off valve for the irrigation was.  Once he had everything up and running again he inspected my yard for leaks and quickly repaired a leak that was under patio pavers.

Fantastic service all round and fairly priced, I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I needed some pavers laid for a patio. Moises and his son were the first to come out for an estimate and offered the best price of 4 other estimates I received. Once I was ready, they arrived the next day ready to work.  They finished the job quickly and cleaned up afterward.   In addition, they cleaned up a section of my yard overgrown with weeds, trimmed a tree, removed a giant pile of leaves and took a bunch of my trash.  
I am super happy with the work they did.  He showed me some pictures of other jobs he has done and I plan to use them again for future jobs.  
For the price, the quality of work and friendly service I highly recommend Moises and Alejandro for any of your outdoor needs.

I got an appointment in a timely fashion and they were very pleasant when they came over but then never gave me a bid on the job. Very disappointing. Not sure why this happened as this ended up being about a $50,000 job which is a lot of $$to me. I ended up with great people so I'm glad they showed me who they were during the bidding (or lack there of) process so I didn't waste time and money on them.
