Best Landscapings in Arizona

I just wanted to write a review about this company and especially Pablo and his brother Carlos and their whole team.  I had been wanting to redo part of my backyard for a long time.  I called several companies, most never called back, 1 came out and gave me an estimate and then never called back.  I got a response from Pablo and he came out the next day.  I told him what I was sort of thinking and he immediately started brainstorming and really got what I was wanting. He sent me a quote and it was reasonable (lower then he other guy).  He started the next week.  It took them 2 1/2 days to finish.  They laid tons of river rock, made an incredible path with crushed gravel.  He made a border all around with metal edging AND added a ton of desert landscaping.  The whole team worked quickly and cleaned up everything.  I can't really put in words how much I love what they did.  I'm sure it has increased the value of my home.  If you want to hire a great team that takes immense pride in their work you don't have to look any farther.

Best landscapper ever!!!! Gave me great pricing, responds quickly and was a generally nice person to work with! Definitely recommend!!

Every time Happy Tree Landscaping comes on here and lies I will update my review. This is what they said WE offered to fix this but you and your husband removed ALL THE TURF AND DEMANDED FULL REFUND. THIS VOIDED YOUR WARRANTY.
This is an absolute LIE. Another LIE.
We have NOT removed the turf. Never have. It still looks just as crappy as ever. We NEVER demanded a refund. We requested they repair the turf and remove the sod underneath (which they NEVER did).
Someone suggested I get ahold of News Station 5 on Your Side to report them, which I probably will due. Companies like this should be held accountable.
If you like throwing money down the toilet or crappy workmanship Happy Tree is just for you. Otherwise, don't even think about giving them a shot. There's a good chance you'll regret it.

We contacted this company because we had heard really good things about them. They responded timely and showed up when they said they would.....even early. They were very friendly.  We went over with them everything we wanted. When they were leaving, they said they would get back to us with a quote within The next two days. It has been over a week and we have heard nothing from them. Crickets. We sent them a text message because that's how we had been communicating, and still absolutely nothing. Totally went dark.

Great job. Our home in Ahwatukee needed some creative Talent in our backyard. We stumbled across jnk landscaping and pool. It was the best thing that could have happened. They came when they said they would come. They did what they said they would do.  They answered any and all questions we had. They were very easy to do business with when we made changes and we will definitely use them again in the future. Awesome service and a family-owned business. Greg and I are so happy with the end results.b

My husband and I were using these guys for years but they just lost us as customers. Scheduling and getting yard clean ups has never been a problem (but more on that later), however, scheduling pre-emergent has been challenging to say the least. There has not been a single time where we haven't had to follow up with them to get a date as to when we can expect pre-emergent to be applied since it isn't done the same day as clean up. This most recent time was a whole different story.

We contacted AMS on Nov 30th for yard clean up and pre-emergent. On December 3rd, they completed the clean-up but we still had no date for the pre-emergent. Over the next THREE WEEKS we sent countless emails requesting a date when we could expect the pre-emergent to be done and each time the response was our email being forwarded to Brian, the guy who handles pre-emergent. During this time a second new account was created two times requesting a credit card to be provided despite us being customers for years. Finally three weeks later we received an email saying they forgot that Brian was on vacation. Oddly enough Brian called the very next day saying he would be coming out... this after we told them numerous times that we are done with them and anything on the books was to be cancelled. Stringing us along for three weeks was just too much.

As for the quality of their work... they have a guarantee with their pre-emergent. You'll likely be calling them back again as it has been hit or miss. Yard clean up is also hit or miss. Sometimes they'll be in your yard for 30-45 minutes or sometimes 2 hours like they were this last month (despite charging the same amount). And if you're lucky, they'll leave a pile in the corner of your yard for you to clean up once they're done and an entire side section of your yard untouched.

Sun of the Valley did an amazing job on our yard! Their employees were so quiet working on our yard first thing this morning. I had no idea they were there until they used the leaf blower towards the end.
The owner, Lili, was able to swing by my house last minute to give an estimate on the yard. She took the time to understand what we wanted done, and also provided some recommendations on what would look good in the yard. Then she was able to fit my project in her schedule very quickly. Great customer service! Their prices are also very reasonable. I highly recommend hiring them!

I did a complete renovation of my back yard including a new travertine pool deck, extending the pool deck, raised planter bed, new grass, a ton of softscape, grantite rock etc.... It boiled down to All Terrain and another company, i decided that i liked the small family aspect of All Terrain and they were able to come in at a lower overall cost than the other company. From start to finish Adam and Natalie were highly responsive, easy to work with, shared amazing ideas on space utilization and took the time to understand what was important to me and what i wanted. This allowed them to align my thoughts on paper and create an amazing, colorful, clean look to my backyard with the much needed added privacy from the 2 story house behind me. Its better than i could have imagined.

I saw a negative review for their responsiveness after the project..... this hasn't been my experience, Adam and Natalie have both been back to the house several times to check the plants, adjust water settings and address any concern that i have had.

Dont go anywhere else, save yourself the endless search, i searched for 4 months before making the decision and talked with 5 different companies,i will use All Terrain from here on out and i will be using them for the front yard next year!

Octavio and his team did great work cleaning up my front and back yards. They were littered with leaves and full of overgrown weeds. They responded quickly to my request, took care of everything, and sprayed the lawns with herbicide to keep it clean the next week. Good price, good response time, friendly guy.

However, I am only giving them 4 stars because of the way they handle scheduling. For the yard cleanup job, they kind of just came and went as they pleased at whatever times worked for them. But it worked out eventually. I tried to rehiring Jaguars to help get my neighbors' trees pruned. Debra completely ignored my request for a few days' notice to give me time to respond and communicate with my neighbors. I'm writing this review after she messaged me 4 times at 5am, and then Octavio showed up at my house All of this happened while I was asleep, so I didn't even have a chance to respond. Very pushy and unprofessional.

Great value and responsive. Does good work. I definitely recommend this company for yard maintenance

Juan came out for an estimate.  Very nice and prompt, however we never received a follow up with an estimate.  It's been about 2 months.  
You never get a second chance to make a good first impression.

Update to Original Review

I received the quote from Juan this morning (a few hours after original post).   Looks like he did send the quote mid-December 2021, however I never received the quote.   I'm changing my rating and will update if we chose this contractor for our project.

Unfortunately typically Landscaper that doesn't follow up and definitely not reliable.

I had an old wooden fence that I needed taken down and replaced with a block wall. Robert was easy to get a hold of and came out within a day after contacting him to get a quote. I received a number of quotes and he was very reasonable in price. His workmanship was excellent. Block wall looks great, he cleaned up afterwards immaculately, and disposed of my old fence. I would highly recommend him

Ivan and his crew did a great job cleaning up my yard. They were responsive and showed up on short notice.

Love this team! On time, great communication! Did a beautiful job on our yard. I'm so so happy with the service. We've decided to hire them monthly. Happy customer!

Excellent service...Chance provides the specific services YOU work out with him and the crew. Quoted prices are actual prices which are fair and reasonable.  Easy to communicate with.  Chance wants your property to look it's best with your budget and delivered.

They provided a quote for a tree stump removal that was anticipated to be a 1-2 hour job. The stump ended up taking all day to remove. But they kept their original quote even though they had to stay longer. Great guys!

This has got to be the best find in drip system repair! They got someone out sooner than I ever imagined. They easily recognized the problems, lay out a plan for fixing the problem, and tackled the job with great ease. I will always use Sprinkler Doctors for any watering system repair. I needed some pavers laid for a patio. Moises and his son were the first to come out for an estimate and offered the best price of 4 other estimates I received. Once I was ready, they arrived the next day ready to work.  They finished the job quickly and cleaned up afterward.   In addition, they cleaned up a section of my yard overgrown with weeds, trimmed a tree, removed a giant pile of leaves and took a bunch of my trash.  
I am super happy with the work they did.  He showed me some pictures of other jobs he has done and I plan to use them again for future jobs.  
For the price, the quality of work and friendly service I highly recommend Moises and Alejandro for any of your outdoor needs.

I got an appointment in a timely fashion and they were very pleasant when they came over but then never gave me a bid on the job. Very disappointing. Not sure why this happened as this ended up being about a $50,000 job which is a lot of $$to me. I ended up with great people so I'm glad they showed me who they were during the bidding (or lack there of) process so I didn't waste time and money on them.
