Best Landscapings in Arizona

Based on Yelp reviews, I called Mr. Torres for an estimate to weed whack and rake up my back yard.
Pros: Mr. Torres answered his phone immediately and stated he could come and give an estimate in 2 hours.
Cons: It took 4 hours, not 2 for Mr. Torres to show up. His estimate was nearly 3 times what I paid another landscaper for the same work earlier this year ($200 for Mr. Torres versus $70 for the other landscaper). Mr. Torres also told me that they do not rake up the yard, they just use leaf blowers.

The reviewer who stated that Mr. Torres speaks English well was overly generous. I could barely understand him and he certainly had a hard time understanding me. My street name has exactly 6 letters in it and he asked me to spell eight times, each time more slowly. In the end I was spelling the six letters slower than I would have to for my 4 year old granddaughter to write it down.

In the end, I thanked Mr. Torres for his time and estimate and decided to go with another landscaper.

Love, love, love this business! I reached out to them last week and received my service today. Everybody I've communicated with has been so friendly and helpful. Gilbert completed the service and was excellent, very kind and attentive to all my concerns! I will definitely be in contact with them again for all future needs.

I looked at 7-8 other companies for some Madison Gold gravel and B&D Gravel came in 25%-40% cheaper than all the rest for the same stuff, from the same place.

Diane was awesome and it seems she runs the business out of her house and actually picks up the gravel from the quarry the day of the delivery so there isn't any major overhead which I'm sure brings the cost down compared to others. She was super friendly and helpful, she tried to talk me out of nearly twice the size of an order because she felt I could get by with less gravel than I initially asked for. I ended up still going with the larger order but she helped me pick a different grade of gravel which saved a bunch of money.

Day of the delivery: No problems at all, everything went very smoothly and showed up within the 1 hour window I was given. They even called when they were about 30 minutes away.

While they don't do the gravel spreading like some other companies do, Diane recommended John (didn't get a last name) who charges by the hour rather than by the ton like most which brought the labor in at 1/4 of what everyone else wanted. John spread all 25 tons of gravel, by himself, with a bobcat and a rake crazy quickly and did a good job with it as well.

Absolutely no complaints. I was fixing up the landscaping to sell the house and if the next house needs new gravel, no questions asked, I will give Diane a call again.

What a refreshing level of service. We had called three other businesses before finding Romero. Two never even bother to call back. The third set an appt and never showed up. Romero not only responded to our inquiry, he came out the same day to give us an estimate. His team was curteous and worked hard to doing a one time clean up (2 acres). We have scheduled him to continue to do regular service, very happy with price and service. Good value. Absolutely recommend.this is legit business.

Just Right is more than good enough!  Imagine this:. a business owner who communicates & shows up!  Seth did so well with texting me updates to his schedule.  That is appreciated.  Yes, this is an early posting as I will see his bid in the morning (I'm certain of this!). But, I'm favorably impressed!  J.

We recently had Tranquil Oasis design and landscape our backyard.  We had definite ideas of what we wanted incorporated into the design, and the end result not only met, but truly exceeded our expectations.   Nick to the time to meet w/ us and give us a unique design specific to our request.  We wanted a lush, inviting xeriscape backyard that felt like an oasis...without the grass.   Nick and his team accomplished just that.  We LOVE our backyard!!  Nick and his team are professional, reliable with great attention to detail.  We highly recommend Tranquil Oasis.

I bought my house in 2005 as the second owner even though the house and pool was built in 2004. In about 2008 I contacted Jason at Workworks to have him re-color and seal my artificial boulders, waterfall and slide and that also has a grato with seating under the falls.. As it turns out his company was the builder of the waterfall and slide when the pool was installed. The reason I mention this is I always get compliments on the quality of the build of the slide and water features and how big it is. Since 2008 I have called Jason up  twice for a refinish of the slide and re-color of the falls and boulders and he would send he crew out  and the results were great. Well, on 2/24/20 I again called Jason and he stopped by the house. The color of the pool is still in very good shape and since I am a DIYer Jason gave me tips on a refinish of the slide. He inspected the pool for cracks and and said that for the pool  that is 16 years old it is still in amazing shape. Jason did not charge me for anything and I highly recommend RockWorks for any artificial pool rock repairs.

Alex  Has been landscaping my friend's property for 15 years. He shows up with a smile, on time and when he says he will. I would have no qualms suggesting him for any senior as I feel he is very honest and accommodating.

Judging by other reviews, I decided to call JLC. Three days and a second  voicemail later I still haven't heard from them. Pro tip for JLC: you tend to lose potential customers when you don't respond to them. Not a great business strategy.

They may be very, very good and very reasonably priced but I'll never know. Time to move on and find a company that is interested in earning my business.

I really appreciate this family owned business and their crew.  The guys are always professional and courteous.  It is so nice to know that things are taken care of each month and if they say they will do something they do it at the price quoted.  They are AWESOME!!!

Our previous yard service has apparently gone out of business. We have a challenging lot and have a hard time getting anyone to come out once, let alone schedule a second visit. Eric quoted us a fair price, did an outstanding job and has worked out a schedule to keep our property in great shape. Highly recommend this company.

I had Matthew come out for a consultation and an informational walk through of all of the plants in my yard.  He gave me a lot of detail including identifying each plant and providing me with instructions on how to care for them.  Afterwards, we acknowledged that it had been many years since the plants had been properly cut back for the seasons and I also hired Matthew's services to do a full renovation pruning to jump start everything back to it's growth potential.  They were very quick, thorough and cleaned up after themselves.  This was 2 months ago and already I'm seeing a nice, natural regrowth coming in.

Danny was very quick to respond and was the best price by far for trimming 2 palm trees. He was done in about 45 minutes and did a great job.

I hired Arizona Yards to help with landscaping work.  The previous company we were using would always do an okay job but would leave the pool a mess.  Arizona Yards had the  landscaping spotless and the pool was left clear, without any debris from their work.

I've been using BIM's Lawn & Landscaping for a few months now and am very happy with their service. They are very reliable and reasonably priced. They trimmed some bushes and trees today and they look so much better! I thought we were going to have to remove some of them and didn't realize how much the trimming would help.

The first time I used Sergio's they did a wonderful job.  They showed up with 5 people and were done in 40 minutes ($90 an hour @ 40 minutes = $60).  I have absolutely nothing bad to say about that visit.  

The next time I called them, they no showed, no showed on the reschedule, randomly showed up another time which we were not home then showed up on time.  They showed up with 3 people and Sergio himself (even though he stated he was not there) was hiding around the corner of the house on the phone taking calls pretending to be working.  He was the third guy and did no work.  However, he did do the following:

1)  Extremely rude to my wife.  When he asked her for payment, she pointed out they did almost no work with the bushes in the backyard.  He mumbled/cussed under his breath at her and proceeded to go into the backyard and only cut the front of the bush, leaving everything else a mess.  
2)  Sergio himself was on the phone when I called and spoke to me, however he told me he was not at the property he was at the office.  They left one guy there for an hour and then Sergio and one other popped up later.  However, they charged us for the full utilization of the crew (Sergio plus the missing person and the guy who they left there).  My wife informed me of this via phone while they were onsite.  
3)  They scratched my car and blew tons of dirt and rocks on it.  They played stupid when I called and complained.
4)  I was out of town when they showed up so it makes sense why they did an awful job and decided to slack since my wife was the one home.  She was not in a position to be confrontational with a rude landscaper seeing as how she has a newborn to watch over while talking to this guy.  
5)  No refund was offered.
6)  Denial of any responsibility or fault with the engagement.
7)  Claimed they rendered all services as expected even though the pictures of my  yard and plants demonstrate otherwise.

Do yourself a favor, do not call this company.  There are plenty of honest working landscapers who do consistent work and do not screw over their customers.  Based on the volume of other negative reviews referencing dishonest work and fraud, it looks like this is their standard mode of operation.
