We lost our four lovely pine trees in a recent nasty heat wave. We dug through the books and finally found a set of replacements. NVLC came out and did a wonderful job of planting and preparing them for their new home.

Nice people who did a good job for us at a reasonable cost.

I had reached out to Nick to provide me with a free quote on a simple sprinkler job (fixing a few sprinkler heads and looking at my overall system). Nick and Tracy arrived at my home on Wednesday 10/13 and instead of quoting me how much the job would be, they got right to work switching out sprinkler heads and looking over everything. It didn't cross my mind to ask for the quote as we were talking as they were working. They ended up switching out 3 sprinkler heads and they also found that my valves were leaking so he quoted me $100 for each valve replacement (I have 5) and I also wanted them to put in a drip system which would cost $200. When they finished, I had to ask them how much I owed them. They then told me it would be $125 ($25 per sprinkler head and then $50 to come out). Before Nick had come out, I had asked him if he charged any additional fees and he stated that he only charged for the work her did. The $125 price tag for the work that was done caught me very off guard. Not only did I not get a quote before the service was done, but I also was charged $50 more dollars than I thought because I was told that they only charge fees for the work they do. I wasn't going to not pay them for their work so I sent the money via Venmo and I asked why they charge the $50 additional fee. They said it's a fee they charge the first time they come out normally. I felt frustrated that I was not told this information before they arrived but I didn't want to haggle with them and I had already paid them. They left and I was still feeling frustrated about the price I had paid for the simple service I was provided. I understand paying professionals for the work they do but I was not given a quote before they started working and I was also not told about the additional fee they charge even though I had asked Nick about those types of fees before he came out. I was still thinking I wanted them to do the valve replacements and drip line but I was feeling frustrated by lack of communication regarding pricing and not giving me a quote prior to starting the work so I called Nick to voice that I was disappointed no quote was provided to me and that I was not told about the $50 fee. When I spoke with Nick, he was immediately defensive. He seemed annoyed I didn't bring up my feelings at the time of the service but I was so caught off guard by the price that I didn't know what to say at the time. I told him he didn't provide me with a quote and he apologized and asked how he could make the situation right. I requested he give me the $50 back because I was not told about it nor was I provided a quote before they started working. He didn't want to do that but instead offered to take $50 off the valve replacement/drip line job. I thought that would be okay so I decided to try to end the call by making sure Nick knew why I had called him. He then proceeded to tell me he disagreed with how I handled the situation and that since he's a man (his exact words), he would've handled everything when we were face to face. He was saying that I handled the situation wrong and that I wasn't a man by the way I handled it. This really frustrated me because everyone handles things different ways and Nick decided to personally attack me. I then did not want him to do another job for me because he was very unprofessional so I asked him to send me the $50 back through Venmo. He agreed and then we ended the call. Today is Sunday 10/17 and Nick has still not sent me the $50 back.

I was hoping to not write a review and instead handle the situation with Nick. Instead, he made things personal and was defensive, unprofessional, and rude when I voiced my frustrations and disappointment. Nick and Tracy did a good job on the sprinklers but Nick did not give me correct information before arriving and he did not give me a quote before they started the job. If you have frustrations with the service you were provided, know Nick does not know how to separate his professional work and how he normally treats people.

Update: What Nick is saying below is not true. He never told me about the $50 fee and he never gave me a quote before the service. He is very unprofessional.

I highly recommend Gren Forever. I got my freedom back thanks to my wonderfully designed yard and extension. I never imagined I'd have a beautiful space to garden.

After years of debating whether to replace our tired and ragged lawn, we decided to take the plunge. We had 6 different companies present their products and bids, and we are so pleased we decided on Purchase Green. Bobby was easy to work with and very responsive throughout the entire process. The installation crew was also fabulous. They showed up on time, were meticulous and were communicative throughout when I had questions. They are true professionals. We had our front and backyard done, and the install was completed in 1 day. My wife and I can't stop admiring our new lawn and highly recommend Purchase Green.

Great company that knows what they are doing and will ensure a good job. They planted 4 trees and installed valve irrigation. They also connected all to a new timer. Job well done. Will be calling in the future for landscaping work.

Bob came out to give me an estimate on a job.   While I did not use his services, I can attest to his integrity and professionalism. Instead of taking the job and my money, he recommended a better option, and that I do something else, and save my money.  At the cost of him losing my business, he was honest and guided me to a better option as it would be cheaper for me and better in the long run.  He also spent some extra time giving me some guidance on other projects and provided some great Incites to what I could do in other areas.  I appreciate his honesty and attention to detail.  I found him to be very experienced and knowledgeable.

Kenny has been a lifesaver regarding our landscaping issues!

- Kenny and his crew come weekly and do an awesome job! Our yard looks really nice.
- our irrigation was not working properly and before Kenny even started, he had his irrigation expert come out to fix our issues. After we had some items replaced, they worked together to set our timers correctly.
-we wanted to change our lighting since some of the landscaping lights did not work, and Kenny recommended a lighting expert who was very good and easy to work with. We even got a discount due to Kenny's referral!

Some other things to note:

- Kenny will call or text to follow up to ensure you are happy after the crew leaves
- they leave a detailed bill at the front door, and you mail your payment into Kenny.  
-if your irrigation system is in your garage like ours is, only Kenny goes in with permission to make sure it's working properly.
- before we hired Kenny, he provided a list of the services he and his crew perform and what is considered extra. For example, trees higher than 8ft tall need to be done by a tree company that he recommends and you pay the tree company directly. Kenny is big in communication and that is huge for us.

We are very happy with Kenny and highly recommend him and his crew!

Very professional company. Worked hard and did a good job on a difficult yard. Will continue to use them.

Craig is the owner.  We researched four companies, had three give us quotes.  Craig returned our call same day.  Showed up for first estimate on time with great ideas using our preferred layout.  Had no issue waiting on us getting other quotes and assured us he was competitive.  One company took over a week to get back to us by phone and another week to come look at the project.  Told us they would have some estimates in the next few days and we have yet to hear back.  The other never returned our call.  
Once we decided to go with AZ NativeScapes, Craig insisted on coming out to meet me in person since I was not at the first meeting.  Again, on time, more ideas and we set the schedule.
Craig may have some reviews about him not returning calls, returning them late, etc.  But he answered us quite truthfully.  He did a poor job managing that piece of his business a few years ago and that has not been an issue over the last couple years.  We knew this to be true from our research.
Day 1 - Craig and crew showed up on time and evidently got right to work.  By the time I arrived back from my trip at noon, so much was already completed.  They worked all day and past 6pm
Day 2 - Yep on time.  And I mean 7:30 AM!  Crew worked through mid afternoon to complete the job.  Craig went through the irrigation schedule, how to add extensions, how to care for each plant and his crew even helped the bulk trash people with our stuff.  They left the place clean, too.
It has only been a week, but all but one plant seems to have taken well to their new homes, the yard looks amazing.

UPDATE - Craig followed up in person to see plants, check watering and our satisfaction this past Friday.

So happy with my experience with BV Lawncare. Put in my request for my quote and got such a quick response and they got me on their schedule faster than I expected. Not only does my backyard look fantastic but the employees are great as well! Specifically Rob he communicated exactly what would be happening and was a perfect gentleman answering all my questions. Alberto did an excellent job skinning and trimming our Cal. Fan Palms and Canary Is. Palms.  It is hard to find people who are competent and experienced doing this type of work as we have had others who said they were experienced and could do this work, but failed in doing a good job.
We plan on using Alberto again.

This is a company with the utmost in professional from the initial contact through to the final product.  My yard was transformed into a beautiful masterpiece that I am so proud of to show off.  Angelique was an amazing designer who listened to what my vision was for my new yard and came up with an amazing plan.  I only had to request once and the follow up and completion of that request was done immediately.  From Angelique to Raul who lead the actual work to the follow up done by Eric to ensure the integrity of the plants and the watering have been phenomenal.  I would recommend this team in a heartbeat.  They can be a bit more expensive but I learned a long time ago you get what you pay for and I can enjoy my new yard for many years to come.  You cannot go wrong with this very accountable and responsible company.

If you want your landscaping done right look nowhere else but here. Prestine green is reliable, responsive and professional. I'll be using them again for sure.

Bless Tierra completely remodeled my front yard, and it looks phenomenal! Isai and I sketched out the concept from scratch, and the end result matches perfectly. Replaced the grass with a paver walkway, desert plants, rock, and synthetic grass - also added some beautiful stucco/tile benches. Work was done quickly, the crew was friendly, and my front yard is absolutely gorgeous - especially at night, due to the lighting in the planter beds and the benches. The cost was very reasonable and didn't vary from the initial estimate. I'm very impressed and recommend Bless Tierra highly!

We had a bad storm that split a pretty large tree in half and another one that was growing into our power lines and I requested a quote to remove the dead tree and clean up the other and they came out the very next day, gave me a more than fair quote so I scheduled. They fit me in within 2 days and even stayed until after 6pm on a Friday to not just finish the job (they did an amazing job by the way) but they even cleaned up all the branches and leaves that were already on the ground (not just the stuff that fell from the trimming but that was on the ground before they started).  I'd highly recommend them for their professionalism and great work for a good price.

Ryan and his team of professionals are THE BEST!  Lucas Lawn takes care of my property on a monthly basis, but they also just completed a full backyard facelift, complete with pavers, uplighting, downlighting, watering systems and drainage systems.  I'm beyond thrilled with the results.
