Best Roofing Contractors in United States

I just got a new roof on June 19th from Glendale Roofing. I had gotten 5 quotes from different companies and they were not the highest and not the lowest.
I was impressed by the knowledge of the estimator who came out and explained what was involved in tearing off the old roof and what to expect. He looked at the roof overhang and the side board trim and pointed out which boards would need to be replaced. they offered me several price points on shingles.

They tore off the old swamp cooler and replaced all the boards, they did a double layer of tar paper and then shingled the entire roof.

The job got done in 2 1/2 days...they even worked Saturday to finish. I waited two months  to write this review after having 3 heavy torrential monsoon rain storms in August and September two of them with high winds. the roof is great.

These guys know what they are doing. They did what they said they would do and at a fair price.

We just purchased a new home and had a few small repairs we needed. We called 4 different companies and when Ed (owner) came out his quote to repair everything was substantially less than the 3 companies. He showed up and got the job done when he said he would. He honored the price he initially quoted us and he was very pleasant to work with. Highly recommended.

Great company to work with.  They are prompt, professional, fair priced and great people.  They showed up, evaluated, and repaired the problem within an hour.  We HIGHLY recommend them.

Alison, the owner of Paragon Exteriors, made the experience of re-roofing my house easy. From beginning to end, Alsion arranged everything from the estimate and thorough explanation of costs to roof and gutter replacement, handling all interactions with the roofers--as well as dealing with my insurance company! Her crew was on time and finished the job on schedule. When Alison was finished, my yard was immaculate and could not even tell that any work had been done! I want to thank universal roofing specialist for traveling out to California to inspect my boss' roof and install a new roof and be soo patient with the cities permits because we know how that can be. I love that he gave step by step details and pictures. Deshawn's communication is very thorough. I recommend his company to anyone needing any roof repairs.

Shon is a great businessman.   He was very diligent, sincere, and people-oriented personality.  I needed a ramada or pergola as some call it, in my backyard, roofed.  It previous had Micky Mouse plywood sheets with some roll roofing on it, held down with bricks, that was not professionally done.  Was like that when I bought the house in 2004.  So the wood got rotten over the years.  One of the rotten places was the armrest of the wooden bench.  I asked Shon to replace the rotten wood that involved the armrest.  

But I didn't like Shon's carpenter named Kevin.  Shon told me he was a great carpenter, but when Kevin came to replace the rafters, and the armrest, he did not have the consciencious eyesight to see the rotten wood that was supporting the top horizontal board that the arm rests on.  And when he replaced the top board, he DIDN'T THINK to turn the board over to the other side where there was no knot, so the armrest can be clean and flawless.  Instead he nails the bad knot-holed side on top, where the knot fell out, leaving a hole in the wood.  His eyes didn't even notice the hole in the wood.  It was not that he saw it and didn't care, cos later I asked him why he nailed the wood with the hole at the top instead of turning it over to a good side on top.  He just never THOUGHT about it!  

His eyes and mind also did not notice, what I thought was screaming obvious, that the wood supporting the armrest, was sooooo rotten and disintegrated, and he nailed good wood right on top of crumbling termite-eaten wood.  See my pictures of the rotten wood that Kevin nailed good wood on top of.  

I would not hire this carpenter if I were his boss, because he lacks the vision needed to do the good workmanship job, that I would want for my business.  If I were owner, I would want a carpenter whom I can TRUST AND KNOW will do a good job, without me having to check to make sure he did, because I know he can SEE and THINK!  

Instead ME, AN OLD SENIOR LADY, who has no construction experience, HAS TO SHOW KEVIN !!!!!!

But after showing Shon the pictures below, he sent Kevin back to make it right.  I asked Kevin why he didn't SEE the rotten wood.  He said he really didn't THINK about it.  I said You need to SEE and THINK!!!   He said, I guess I do.. Why is it this old lady had to THINK for contractors.  

Anyhow, I am still giving Shon 5 stars, cos he made it right, and was so determined to make me happy.  He replaced ALL the rafters, when his bid said replace about 5 of the7, but I paid for the armrest replacement which included some of the wood replacement in the rafters.  

Also Shon saved me money over other roofing contractors, simply because sheet metal is cheaper than roll roofing, which doesn't last as long, either.  

Someone mentioned that it would be noisy when it rains hard.  I have not yet experienced heavy rains.

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!  This company is amazing!  Very professional and efficient!  They know their business!  We have been dreading getting our roof fixed and Hays Roofing made it a very easy process and saved us a lot of time and money!!!  Thank you so much for taking care of us :)

Found ER Efficient Roofing through a newspaper advertisement.I had already gotten several estimates on replacing 100+broken Spanish Clay Tiles for my roof & wasn't feeling any of the companies. Other roofers were definitely overcharging me & even suggesting I get a new roof. EER was my last estimate. I called them & they got back to me quickly & scheduled me for an appt literally the next day.Justin, the big boss, showed up on time, big simile & great energy.I felt like the roof & I were in good hands.He fully examined the roof said it looked good & no need to replace the roof at this time, just the broken tiles :) He emailed me a quote that was fair & scheduled me for the following week. Well....they had a cancellation so they were able to replace the tile earlier than scheduled.Joey, Sean & David showed up 30 minutes after I received an ETA call.They were professional, courteous, explained everything to me, remembered to ask me move my car out of the garage, got all the work done the same day & MOST important cleaned up so good it looked like they had never been there.They did a FIRST CLASS job...EXCELLENT!!! Not only will I refer them to others but when it's my time for a new roof,I'm definitely calling them up to put the new roof on. I was recommended to Joe Ward through my handyman who has worked with him on projects in Scottsdale. He was highly recommended and he was kind enough to visit my home in Wickenburg to give me an estimate to redo my roof. I was so highly impressed by Joe that I immediately signed a contract for him to come, while I was on vacation, and re-roof my home. I came back from my vacation 3 weeks later to find that no work had been performed and was told by my handyman that he had left a number of voice mails with Joe and had not heard from him. I called the 3 to 4 numbers I had for him and never heard back from him as well. I am perplexed that a man, seemingly as nice as Joe, would never get in contact or at the very least, leave some form of message to tell me there was a problem.
I would forewarn anyone who deals with this contractor to make sure and verify that the work will be done. A written contract apparently means nothing to this gentleman. I was and still am very disappointed that a contractor, who has been in business as long as Joe said he had, would not be professional enough to respond to inquiries as to what was happening.

Overall, the team did a good job on replacing some drywall, matching texture, and painting in the master bath, but when my husband noticed that they missed an area near a toilet line and the tape is not covered with mud and textured, we tried to get them to come back for the minor repair.  After several messages and over two weeks have gone by, we are just going to do the repair ourselves, which is not so great when we spent $2,000 for the work (and we supplied the paint).  The people are nice enough, and we would recommend the company with the caveat to check the work carefully before they leave the job site.  Good advice for any company, actually.

Very pleased with the customer service from Roof King. Called the office and was immediately greeted by Karen who was able to schedule a technician out to our house within 24 hours. Although it was a minor repair request ( wind damage) , the tech ( Hunter) was on-time, knowledgable, courteous and thorough. He made the repair and also checked over the entire roof. Found another small issue that I was not even aware of. Took pictures of the repairs (and sent me copies for my files) . Reasonably priced and invoiced/paid electronically. I asked for several business cards to pass along to neighbors.
Highly recommend.

Great service. Chris was great but I think it was a little pricey for what was done. I won't know if what he did works until it rains! Hopefully I won't have a  leak but Chris said to call him if it does !

Do not use these guys. Roof is less than 5 years old and has had nothing but issues. Contacted them to come fix the work they did and got nothing but excuses till we got tired of contacting them. Terrible customer service and even worse warranty.
