They stand by their word.  

We bought our house last spring and the inspector noted water stains from roof leaking issues, despite the fact that the roof was only 3 or 4 years old.  The previous owners obtained a one-year roof guarantee form Proficient Contracting, which gave us the piece of mind to move forward with the purchase.

When the rainy season began we noticed leaks in our bathroom.  We called Proficient and Mike came out with his crew and patched some areas around the venting pipe.  Unfortunately, that did not do it.

We called Mike gain and he indicated that the company used the wrong undercoating material and they would replace it, but their schedule was backed up due to frequent rains this winter.  Nevertheless, they put a tarp on the affected part of the roof to prevent leaking in the meantime.  

Unfortunately, the leaks continued and we called Lauren in the office and they came out the next day and put another tarp down.  This fixed the leaks temporarily.

Finally, Proficient's schedule cleared and they came out and fixed the roof last week.  This was one week after the roof guarantee expired.  

It did take a bit of time for Mike to respond to my phone calls, but as soon as I got Lauren in the loop, our communication was excellent.

The bottom line is that Proficient could have waited for the clock to run out, but they didn't.  They stood by their name.  I will use them when it is time to replace our roof.

Pros: Estimate was one of the lowest for a new asphalt shingle roof, spring 2015. I made a last minute change on roof color selection which was addressed with no issues. High quality tiles and materials used. Two man crew did the majority of work. Exhaust pipe vents and AC air return (roof mounted) painted to match. Started on time and finished. Returned calls promptly.

Cons: One of the dormer attic vents had a 1 inch gap into the attic that was fixed with a piece of flashing after being informed. Found about 9 nails exposed that weren't completely covered by the tiles. One of the dormer vents was dented. Roofing material over patio did not go to the edge of the flashing? Some leftover material and packaging dumped into attic (through vent opening). Section of rotted plywood over patio was changed, but there was another small section that should have been replaced. Nails found in yard.

These guys have done 10 commercial projects for me. Great workmanship, Good service, very knowledgeable. Family oriented company. I worked with Steve Jr mostly, but Steve Sr also helped out at times. They were on time, and came highly recommended, and now I'm highly recommending them!

We recently hired Poor Boys to pour our cement driveway and a cement patio in the back yard. Everything from the estimate to the finishing work was top notch. They arrived on time on the day they said they would and when they left the job was clean with not a pebble out of place. I highly recommend them and will hire them again if I need a contractor.

We wanted to remodel our kitchen, with way too many ideas in our heads. Lyra really honed in on what we were talking about and her design was came out better than we could of imagined. Ryan and his crew were prompt and his communication was great.

Axis did a great job with our new shingle roof. Shelby was great to work with so we're Shania and Shawna. There was an accident that occurred on our property during the tear off (a water line had been broken) and Kevin and the office made sure to get it taken care of. They were thorough and took care of our roof. Our roof looks wonderful now! And am so proud and happy of it all! Thanks for a great job axis roofing!

I just used Radiant Roofing for our roof repair. During my working career, my company developed huge industrial laundries utilizing hundreds of subcontractors. I wish they all had been as knowledgeable, trustworthy and pleasant as Jeff and Matt. They've got my highest recommendation.

I was having some issues with a couple different leaks at my home. Donnie ended up coming by and taking a look at the problems I was having. He went through the trouble of diagnosing the leaks with a garden hose and after realizing it was a not a roof issue but a door issue he even gave me some recommendations of what could be done for the problem even though it was outside His scope of work. I will definitely keep his number on hand for future Roofing related problems, an honest contractor can be hard to come by!

I am hands on when it comes to major projects like this and my contract for reroofing included every detail that I felt was important. Mesa Roofing agreed to exactly what I wanted and got the business. The price was competitive the work on time and during the project I didn't meet a single employee who wasn't knowledgeable friendly and helpful. No unresolved issues made for a very pleasant experience. Thanks Don, Nat, Taylor and crew!

I messaged to schedule a free estimate on our roof and we confirmed an appointment . However, on the day of our appointment no one showed up and there was no phone call.

Had a leak (small) wasn't sure what was going on. Called Scott Roofing and since it wasn't raining they said they would come out 5 days from when I called they also gave me a time of 8:00am. He came out on the day of and arrived at 7:30am (early). Weird no one comes early. He went up on the roof took several pictures heard him move some tiles around and came back down. Explained everything to me. Showed me pictures that some of the tiles moved around and the gap was most likely the problem. So he just fixed it. He told me what to look for in the future and gave me a tube of sealant just in case. Asked him for a bill and he said 'no charge'. In the future if I have a problem with my roof Scott Roofing Company will be the first company I call. Ask for Ray C.

I would highly recommended using Rhino construction for your remodeling needs. We had to completely remodel our entire bathroom and we felt at ease as they communicated and walked us through every step of the way. The owner came over frequently to check on the project and make sure we were happy. Our bathroom turned out great and we get so many compliments. The quality of work was great and the prices are reasonable. We couldn't be more thankful that we chose them.

We had Pinnacle fix an area over the garage.  They were on time, professional, quiet, and left the yard as tho they had never been here.  Scott and Nichole are very professional and personable. A great experience!!  I would recommend Pinnacle Roofing to everyone!

I hired Jim Brown and Sons to replace my old, crappy roof. I was pleasantly surprised at how thorough the process was. From my initial phone call to ask questions all the way through to completion of the project, everyone on the JBS team was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. We hired them because of their reputation of being one of the longest running roofing contractors in Phoenix. I've heard horror stories of people hiring smaller roofing companies and didn't want to sacrifice quality or peace of mind for price. They also offered financing which allowed us to do the project in the first place. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend them.

I do NOT recommend using this company.  In february 2020 we noticed a leak in one of the ceilings in our home. We contacted them and it was found the roof was put on incorrectly with incorrect materials on the entire back addition. The restoration department referred us to their roofing department to have the roof fixed before they completed the interior. The roofing department send Pete to inspect the roof. They were unable to complete the work until 4/15. On 4/14 the crew arrives unscheduled and a day early waking this healthcare worker whom works 13 hour night shifts. Pete was well aware of this nighshift schedule and needing to schedule around it. Pete and his crew didn't care and showed up a day early in the middle of my night waking me 3 separate times. I was told the job would all be done that day (4/14) after having woken me they worked 1-2 hours and left. They arrive again the next am so 2 days of no sleep to work another 1-2 hours. They left a giant mess in the driveway, in the dog run, and tar and roofing chunks on my lawn furniture ruining the fabric. There was roofing matter all over the clothes and shoes in my closet. Pete further did not see a larger than fist sized hole in the roof which caused further interior damage and despite being aware of it he did not fix it. He now wants another $400 to complete the roof that should have been noticed by a so called professional or anyone with eyes for that matter. His utter incompetence and flippant attitude towards customers is appalling. I contacted the office and was told  they will make this right. That did not happen there was no apologies or attempt to make it right for lack of professionalism, severe below quality of work, and disregard for customer care and customer property. We most certainly overpaid for this service. We had many projects in line over the next year to 2 years and Zona beyond being fired for the restoration work you will not be getting anymore work from us. We will be sure to educate others of your appalling business practices in order to spare them. You are shameful!

Great company!  Deanna came in with the lowest bid and provided great service.  She started the job even earlier than promised and she and her crew did a superb job.  They left our outside and the roof cleaner than when they arrived.  They double-layered the underlayment and there were no issues with any part of the job.  Deanna personally inspected the job upon completion.

I've already recommended Koala-T to two friends.

This morning I had George Watson, the owner of Sun City Roofing, at our house to give an estimate on repair/replacement of our roof. My initial phone call and message was returned promptly, and George came out the next day. He spent time with us talking about the quality of materials that we might use, as well as inspecting some interior ceiling damage from the leak in our roof. George provided a clear written estimate detailing what work was to be done and included, and gave what we feel was a fair price. It has been difficult to find a roofer that would a) return our call to request an estimate, and b) actually show up when they said they would. Sun City Roofing did both, and if we do choose SCR to do our roof, I'll be updating this review with that information!
