A contractor you can trust? It must be a lie! Well it isn't.  The owner of Ultra Roof and Exteriors is a sweetheart. Joe and his staff goes above and beyond to get the job done in a timely and professional manner. Never one to jerk you around and spring up surprise service charges,  he's a man that's good on his word. Plus he's hilariously amusing and wears too much orange.

Ultra Roof and Exteriors is licensed to do both residential and commercial roofing and they do both well. Joe is knowledgeable, patient, and knows his trade inside and out.  So if your roof is fixing for, well, a fixing, call Joe!

My roof's paper was 25 years old, brittle and a good rain away from causing a significant leak. Over the last nine months I've had seven quotes with roughly a $4,000 to $5,000 difference in pricing range. Every quote was high pressure sales. Everyone wanted to put me out several months for the work.
Received a recommendation for Ultra Roof & Exteriors from a friend who was under contract with them. Joe was able to come out in a couple of days, evaluate my roof and provide me a quote on the spot.

-Warranty is significantly longer than everyone else I spoke with.
-His business is small but has been around a significant amount of time with previous roofing experience outside of Arizona.

He kept me informed the whole time. He and his team showed up on time, did the work in the time frame communicated, cleaned up the areas daily before going home for the day and after the project was done.

My husband called Joe to get an estimate on a small roof repair. Joe showed up on time, gave a professional quote and seemed to know what he was talking about. My husband was so impressed that he canceled the other estimate he was going to get and told Joe he wanted to hire him for the job. Unfortunately, that's when Joe stopped communicating. He wouldn't return phone calls. He responded to texts with, I'll call you tonight. But never did. I don't understand why he would waste his time coming out to give a quote then not respond when we wanted to actually pay him for his work.

I'm a fan of Yelp and I usually search for contractors, trades, etc. for repairs of my home. I needed my roof redone so I came across Ultra Roofing to get a bid.  I got a hold of Joe who was nice enough to meet with me and got an estimate for my roof. He was knowledgeable, nice, and personable. After several bids, we chose Ultra Roofing because of Joe's knowledge and experience. But then, Joe would not answer his phone. I texted and called multiple times with no avail. The second day, Joe texted back and said that he will call me later but never did. We ended up dealing with another company.  For someone like Joe with good reviews and not answer his phone, It was frustrating and disappointing in our part. If Joe is not professional enough to return our calls, just imagine trying to call him back for a warranty repair.

Joe knows what he is talking about. worth every penny. I highly recomend.

A friend referred me to Joe's company.  Joe was very professional and friendly.  I needed my tile roof to be redone and Joe gave me a great quote... much better than other quotes.  Joe and his team did a great job.  After the roof instal, there was an issue regarding a leak near our Air Conditioning unit which was on the roof.  It actually ended up being a drain issue below the rood (in the rafters).  Joe immediately took responsibility, fixed the problem and payed for internal repairs.  Joe is stand up guy that you can trust.  Thanks for the great job!

I was recommended to Joe Ward through my handyman who has worked with him on projects in Scottsdale. He was highly recommended and he was kind enough to visit my home in Wickenburg to give me an estimate to redo my roof. I was so highly impressed by Joe that I immediately signed a contract for him to come, while I was on vacation, and re-roof my home. I came back from my vacation 3 weeks later to find that no work had been performed and was told by my handyman that he had left a number of voice mails with Joe and had not heard from him. I called the 3 to 4 numbers I had for him and never heard back from him as well. I am perplexed that a man, seemingly as nice as Joe, would never get in contact or at the very least, leave some form of message to tell me there was a problem.
I would forewarn anyone who deals with this contractor to make sure and verify that the work will be done. A written contract apparently means nothing to this gentleman. I was and still am very disappointed that a contractor, who has been in business as long as Joe said he had, would not be professional enough to respond to inquiries as to what was happening.

Awesome work done, honest and reasonable. Had a great conversation with owner after work was done that made me feel like he was passionate about his customers and community.

The owner, Joe Ward, was so nice and the price was great compared to all of the other estimates we received. He and his crew went above and beyond to ensure our new roof was perfect. He even replaced rotted boards and didn't charge us extra. I would recommend this company to everyone.

We have family who used Joe on their home. When I saw their roof and compared his work to others, there was no comparison.  Excellent work.  Joe gave us a very competitive quote.  He started as promised, completed as promised including replacing two sheets of plywood without charge.  The crew did a nice job protecting my home, driveway and plants.  They even cleaned up everything as if they had never been there.  What more could I ask for?  I'd recommend him to anyone and if I ever move again and need another job, Joe will be the only person I'll need to call.
