Very professional and honest. I cannot say enough good things about Hays Roofing but one thing is for sure, they represent the very best in home repair service.

Jarrod made our roof repair experience easy and prompt. Upon request he was out within a couple days and was very honest and fair. I can't speak highly enough of the quality service I received. I will recommend Hays Roofing to my friends and family. They will always be my first call when it comes to my roof.

Hays Roofing has re-roofed my home in the Arcadia area at least two times, most recently during December 2019.  They are prompt and courteous and expert in their work.  I've got a 2 bedroom in the Arcadia area and it took roughly 5 working days to complete my job (including stripping off the old roof).  Hays Roofing is my go-to for all things roof.

A solid company. They gave a competitive bid to replace the underlayment on our til roof. They communicated with us throughout the process, did a great job, and were sure to take care of the details, like extra sweeps for nails afterward. I would highly recommend them.

Since 1971 re-roofing my house has been a family affair every 15-16 years.
This year 2021 we opted to have it done.

We requested bids from seven roofing companies and chose Hays Roofing,Inc.
because they had been licensed the longest and was a family owned and operated company and that it would be done in one day.

I should note that the the house is a small 2 B/R and the roof is 1/4 pitch and less than 8.5 sq.

Got a call telling me they would be at the house at 7AM next day (they did arrive at 9:30)  but that was not a problem for me.

The crew they sent was 2 men and a foreman.

The tear off was done the first day and the debris was both broomed  and blown off with a leaf blower( I would not have expected that and am still picking up roofing pieces and nails from the yard).

Some decking was replaced and one facia board (which was cut 1 1/2 too short. My son has now fixed that for me. The drip edge was installed on the south side of the house          
using four short pieces, overlapping less than the 2 I believe is required, one overlap was 1/8.

After the tear off the underlayment was put down they left for the day.

We went upon the roof to inspect the progress and right away we noticed at least six sharp objects under the underlayment, I hope they were not leftover nails lying on the roof. I addressed this with the foreman when they arrived the next day. I was told that since the underlayment was adhered to the deck it could not be pulled up but that he would hammer them down. The top cap was put on that second day and they then left.

My only concern now is about the sharp debris that remained under the underlayment that the foreman said he would hammer them down should they work up through the cap over time, that would be a real problem for me. I know the re-roof came with a  good warranty but it has been my experience that a repair is NEVER as good as a job done right the first time.

They finally called and offer a refund after reading our reviews.  I'm glad they called and handled this and refunded us what we paid to the other company on repair cost.

Apparently Hays Roofing doesn't worry about getting jobs or speaking to people. I called and left a message. Didn't get a call back. I called a second time and left a message. I received a call back saying that 2 of our buildings were metal and one building they, didn't want to bother with.
Fact - I called for recoating for three business buildings that are all brick and mortar, including a fire station. Good work going to another company. We will never bother with Hays again.

The rental property we live in is being reroofed. This company is absolutely fantastic! They do excellent work and are considerate about clean up. We would highly recommend them!

Ended up not choosing Hays for the foam work I needed but was impressed by their professional response and would recommend you consider them. Response was prompt and directly addressed issues I'd raised in my initial request, and price quoted seemed extremely fair. Reasons for not picking them solely due to idiosyncratic issues at our house.

Absolutely the best they do what they say and stand behind it. As a General Contractor I only use Hays Roofing.

Just had a fantastic experience with Jarrod Watson from Hays Roofing. After a heavy monsoon, a water spot developed on my ceiling and needed to determine what was going on and the fix needed. Jarrod showed up on time and got up to the 2nd story roof (on a 108 degree day no less!) over the area of my water spot. About 5 minutes later Jarrod came down and let me know the issue was all taken care of. Luckily it was just a few tiles that had come out of place during he storm and caused the water to wick underneath. Jarrod took photos and explained everything to me. When I asked him what I owed him for the repair he said payment wasn't necessary since it was a simple issue. I know who I'm going to recommend and call for any real roof issues I come across down the road. Thanks Jarrod and Hays!

Stell Roofing referred me to Hays Roofing since Stell's workload was at capacity.  I called Hays and was told the estimated would call me back to schedule an onsite quote.  2 days later I got a call back and we scheduled a date and time.  Hays did not show up and did not call.

NO SHOW

They just did our roof- not the cheapest, but they very cautiously removed all of our tiles, replaced the wood under and did the roof. So far a few weeks and 118 degree weather, so no leaks, but they did no hire subs, which means they took a long time to do the work, but I hope they did it right. I am giving them 5 stars so far since it was not painful, except the check. The roof was about 7000 sq ft, and they had their act together.

Hays repaired a leaking vent and replaced the roofing on our porch.  I was very happy with the work and the condition they left the yard in.  The crew was polite and willing to answer my questions.  It was a little challenging getting things scheduled, but I am happy with the price and the quality of work.

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!  This company is amazing!  Very professional and efficient!  They know their business!  We have been dreading getting our roof fixed and Hays Roofing made it a very easy process and saved us a lot of time and money!!!  Thank you so much for taking care of us :)

I developed a roof leak in December.  Hays Roofing came out in a couple days, checked the roof and identified the likely area of the leak.  They provided me an estimate the next day.  Because the leak was under my HVAC unit, they coordinated with my AC contractor to disconnect remove and re-install the unit during the repair.  Throughout the process, Hays was professional, courteous, polite and friendly.  Today it rained.  The roof is sound with not a leak.

Hays did a small job for us but we were very happy with the professional service we received. They put the roof on a Ramada and we had a slight problem but the owner was very helpful, polite and professional in working things out.

Lack of professional communication timeliness. Due to lack of response from Jarrod it cost me another $500 to close on house due to incomplete repairs. Had worked with Jarrod in the past to put on a new roof, did have 2 leaks after the new roof , which they fixed. Time to sell the house, the inspector had some problems with the 5 year old roof, considered it sloppy work, verified by an outside roofing consult. Jarrod generously offered to repair the part on warranty & a couple more items. About 90% of the repairs completed, even after I had given them the wrong closing date, but last 10 % - guys show up but had the wrong color, said would have it by noon. I come back, no one there, tried to contact Jarrod by phone and email without any response (we had discussed the need to be completed by Friday. Jarrod did contact me on Monday and wanted to setup the repairs, too late..inspection done.  If i had been contacted on Friday i could have negotiated another response to the buyer.

Had a really positive experience dealing with Hays Roofing. I had a minor repair (basically to correct some work by a previous roofing company) and Hays was quick to respond and reasonably priced. They always answered their phones which seems like a rarity in the roofing business. I worked with Jarrod and will definitely use them again if needed.

Owner was abusive and threatening. Threatened to put lien on house when work was questioned.  Never checked work .

Because of the hail storm that we had, we needed new shingles on our roof.  We called Hays Roofing, Inc.and they came out in a very timely period and gave us an estimate for the roof.  We had already had it checked by our insurance adjuster and we were paid by the insurance company.  I thought Hays did an excellent job and were constantly in contact with us, until they could come out and do the roof.  After the shingles were put on, one of the men from the company came out to make sure things were completed correctly and it was.  To my surprise, the other day we received a thank-you card from them, which I felt was rather classy.  I would highly recommend Hays Roofing for people that need work done on their roof.
