I needed to do a re-roof in February and had decided to get four quotes. One quote was really high but the other three were within $1000 of each other. Desert Canyon wasn't the cheapest but after meeting the owner Edwin I knew I wanted his company to do the work. I asked Edwin if he would match the other quote which he did but more importantly he agreed to directly  supervise the work even though he let me know he had a rather large job going on at a school. The job took three days and Edwin came to my home each day, text me photos of the work being done and showed me areas of concern that they were going to be repairing.
The price quoted at the beginning was what I was charged in the end. No attempt to up charge and the area was left clean. Extremely happy with the work from Desert Canyon Roofing...

We got an estimate from Summit Roofing at 3 other roofers, all for repairing the same leak in our roof.  Here's why we chose Summit:
 1.)  They were the quickest, both to come out, and to write up the estimate.
 2.)  They included pictures at every step of the process, and explained everything clearly.
 3.)  Their estimate was less expensive than most of the others. (See next point)
 4.)  When I called to ask why their estimate didn't include replacing the flashing that all of the other roofers had recommended, they explained why that wasn't really the problem (our problem was deterioration of the parts around the flashing), and how their repairs would make our existing flashing work like it was supposed to.  
 5.)  They use the industry standard 2-year warranty.

Other good things:
 They got back to me very quickly, even with multiple follow up calls.  The workers they sent out were very nice and professional.  They took pictures before, during, and after and included those in their invoice.  They left the extra tiles for us (not that I'll use them, but some people might see this as a plus).  Finally, their work looks great; it's very tidy and a major improvement from the black tar-like patch jobs that previous roofers had done.  That section of our roof looks like brand new!

Found Ernie (Sinclair Roofing) through Home Advisor and decided to get an estimate from him based solely on the glowing reviews; he must be doing something right if that many people speak well of him. I discovered they were all 100% correct.

When we first spoke on the phone he took the time to answer my questions and explain details such as materials used and warranties. Most companies--especially the larger ones--answer the phone nicely enough, take your name, address, and phone number, then schedule the appointment time and say goodbye; there is a difference between doing business and doing business well. Ernie understands the latter and applies it.

Not once did I have the feeling he was trying to put one over on me. Honestly, I felt more like he was more concerned with being trusted to do the job than to make a buck. He thoroughly explained what needed to be done and why then gave a reasonable quote and time frame for completion.

Ernie and his dad did the work and paid very close attention to details. He even informed he that he found a couple soft spots and suggested a bit of remediation. There was a little added cost to me but I was happy he told me instead of doing it then charging me. He gave me the option of doing it or not, which I absolutely had done. The end result speaks to all the rave reviews he has earned. Quality, without question.

I plan on having Ernie do the re-coat when it's due. I will also wholeheartedly recommend him to any of my neighbors, or to anyone wanting their roof done for that matter.

Armando came out to give bid and was very professional, detailing what would need to be done. He addressed my concerns and provided a fair estimate in a timely manner. Had Jimmy out with Thompson Brothers Roofing and he and his crews did a full roof replacement for us back in May (underlayment and tile). Jimmy is like the uncle you never had. He's super responsive, always answers your calls and works with you to get a fair price for your roof repair/replacement. Highly recommended if you want someone who won't swindle you into paying the highest price just because of the pandemic. And someone who doesn't sacrifice workmanship because of price. You will have to wait for tile/materials however since that's just the way to world is these days.

I'm so glad I contacted Trident. I had just gotten a quote from another roofer saying that I needed a full roof replacement. I asked Seth for a second opinion. He came the very next day and inspected the roof for me. He keep me looped in with pictures and text messages. This was especially useful since I am out of state and this is a rental home. No new roof was needed, but he recommended a few minor thing that could be resealed.

I saved $12k by getting a second opinion from an honest person.

We have had MULTIPLE 'experts' who have 'fixed ' our multiple leaks in our foamed flat roof. Continued leaks during rains in multiple rooms. We researched and interviewed Warren the owner of Trades Unlimited. From the very start this company has been meticulous in their work and went beyond when the guys with trained eyes approached my husband and discussed with Warren issues they found along the way.
They were here for much longer daily than any of our other experiences. They took great care and worked very hard... they were all extremely professional, polite, respectful and cleaned along the way.

I feel compelled to share my experience with Rain man roofing. I am huge on reviews and the ones for this company are great but they do not fully show how amazing this company is. Where to start?! From the first request for an estimate the business was prompt, professional, detail oriented, and provided the highest quality of service. They arrived on time and left no mess when they were finished. You cannot go wrong with this roofing company. You can expect detailed estimates with pictures and explanations for every item they find in need of repair.

These guys are great! They fit my minor roof leak repair into their schedule quickly. They communicated well and arrived on time. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Disappointed with customer service... This is not the first time this has happened to me over the past few months, but have the most details on days/number of times called... Started out noticing a nice sized bubble on an interior wall near our front door, and because our roof was warranted for 30 years from Jack the Roofer and we aren't even close to end of this warranty gave him  a call to see if he could come out and inspect on 2/24/17. I was told that he was backlogged and that they would be out sometime the next week to take a look at this for us. By 3/3 no call/no show, called back to see if I could get an ETA on when to expect him to come out and inspect. Was told that he would be giving me a call shortly to discuss. No Call/No Show again, tried again on 3/10, same party line, took my information and I should expect to hear back from Jack when he gets a moment. Fast forward to 3/24, still haven't heard anything, still hasn't shown up to take a look. So called on 3/24, and was told that Jack would definitely be giving me a call back to set up an appointment. It is now 3/30 and I STILL haven't heard anything. By this point, I have already attempted to repair the roof myself (though I really want a professional to look at it) and repaired the wall where the water was leaking in to. With the last round of rain, everything looks ok, but this is the most piss-poor customer service I have ever received in my life. Again this is not the first time this has happened to me... Also had a leak back in December and once again, no-call/no-show for weeks... Finally ended up fixing myself and then about a week later a guy shows up and starts stomping around on my roof... Had no idea he was even there if I hadn't heard him walking around (a little freaky to say the least)... This was not Jack, but rather a contractor that he hires out to look at maintenance items... Guy left a bead of goop around the fireplace (where the leak was occurring) and left without saying anything more. This has been a very frustrating experience... Looking back over the reviews that are coming in, looks like I am not the only one experiencing these issues. So much for a warranty on my roof if I can't even get a call back to discuss my concerns let alone try to get a date/time for an appointment.
