I've had a few different workers for different projects (garbage disposal and leak) the last week. Both workers were timely, nice, and efficient with their time. Should I ever have a different plumbing issue, I will definitely use Carters My Plumber!

We used Gluff plumbing again for an issue that arose over Christmas. As in previous visits, they were extremely professional and courteous. The technician, Matt, diagnosed a tricky issue with our pipes and promptly corrected the problem.

My water heater stopped heating and I called a couple of Indy-based companies to try and figure out what was wrong. First company made a quick assessment and said we should replace at least the heating elements and maybe the thermostat too, just to be safe; this would have been $500-800. I reached out to Plumb On to get me a second quote since that first one felt high.

Corey came out and spent 45 minutes or so thoroughly diagnosing the problem. It turns out that none of the hardware components were broken, and Corey identified the true problem: a loose wire and a bad connection, which he fixed within a few minutes. He didn't even charge me for the dispatch out of consideration for my having paid $90 to the first company. Impeccable. This is the kind of person/company you want to give your business to.

We are so pleased with our new water softener and reverse osmosis drinking water system Cooper's Water Conditioning installed! They came out quickly, tested our water, and gave us a quote which was less expensive than other companies for the same or similar equipment. They scheduled the install to fit our schedule. Paul the installer called to let us know he was coming exactly when he said he would be at our house. Paul was fast, efficient, and installed both the water softener and reverse osmosis water system perfectly. When he was done he cleaned everything very nicely. Had a shower valve and fixture replaced in a tight tiled space.  He also replaced laundry fixtures, and my outdoor spigot.  John was very professional and on time.  If you need good work done big or small at an affordable price, call the Plumb Doctor.  I will keep his card on my fridge for any future work.

I had great service from Nate and Aaron.  They took great care of us and the problems we were having at our house.  They were very friendly and helpful.  I feel like I had great service with a fair price.  I will be calling them first with any plumbing problems.  The owner is hands on and answered all of your questions.

Caution!
This company was assigned to us by our Home Warranty company.  We needed to replace our water heaters. Dealing with Premier was difficult since communication was extremely poor. The level of professionalism left something to be desired.  I will attribute this to the management. Since the employee was pleasant to work with.
After five days of dealing with them and not knowing when they were coming or whether or not they had our water heaters, we decided to go with a different company.

Do you research before embarking in any home project.

After calling several plumbers about getting a battery backup sump pump for my basement I talked to R and R. They did the plumbing in my new house and were fixing a few items so I asked how much there cost was. They were 50% less than two others. I new that the other two seemed high so was relieved to find a reasonable cost. Plumber was great got here right on time also they use a good zoller pump and maintenance free battery. Took them around 1hr to complete. It's one of those items you don't want to use but glad to have it done.

Do not call them for repair, unless you are willing to pay for overpriced, unnecessary  services! I called them to come out and replace a dual capacitor on our air conditioning unit. I had done my research and was pretty sure that was the problem. I also looked up the price of one and watched a video on how to replace one.
When the servicemen arrived at my house, it was indeed the capacitor that was bad. He mentioned to me that my unit was dirty, but that was not an issue with the fan not working.
He brings me 2 quotes: one is over $400 and the other over $500! The part that I needed could be bought on Amazon for $30. He was going to charge me over $250 to swap out the capacitor, and $263 to clean my air conditioner because he said their policy is to not work on dirty units!
I asked him for a breakdown of what the capacitor price was and labor, but he said they don't price things out like that. I told him I would run out and hose down the unit, but he said that he would have to be the one to clean it. I told him I hadn't requested that when I called, that it might be dirty, but it wasn't the problem. He continued to refuse what he had been sent out to do.
I opted out of having any service done, but of course had to pay $94 for their assessment fee.
And I'm happy to report that I have another company coming today that will clean the air conditioner and change out my capacitor for a total of $150!

I had previously replaced the piping under the bathroom sink, but could not stop it from leaking. So, I purchased a Groupon for Snappy Services LLC and called to schedule an appointment. It was explained to me during the call, that the Groupon would only cover the service fee and the woman went on about other deals I could've gotten if I hadn't already bought a Groupon. I then explained my situation with the bathroom sink. I stated that if they could repair what I did, that would be fine, but I'd prefer to replace the piping under the sink because what I had used was cheap and not functioning. We scheduled for Friday, because it was the only date that somebody would be home and I explained that it would be my adult children.

The next day, Thursday, I was at work and got a call from my daughter because the technician from Snappy Services was headed to my house, despite the fact that we had scheduled for Friday. I had to call them and let them know it was the wrong day. No big deal.

Friday came, the plumbers came to my house. I, again, was at work. The plumbers stayed less than an hour and ran the water in the sink. They stated that they re-aligned the piping and that there was no leak. They left, never once opening their toolbox.

When I arrived home from work, I ran the water in the bathroom. Upon looking, none of the piping had been replaced and low and behold... it still leaks. On Monday, I attempted to call and explain that nothing had been done, and the lady went on and on about the Groupon. And how the plumbers supposedly added plumbers tape and sealant, and that there must be a bigger issue.

I don't care about the Groupon. I had already spent the money. I wanted the piping under my sink replaced. I had left my debit card with my adult kids to pay for it, and had budgeted for the repair. I had asked for it to be redone, it still isn't fixed. They lost a paying customer because they assumed that someone who buys a Groupon is cheap. They assumed that I didn't have the money for their services because I tried to find a more cost effective way to do things. I never received a quote for replacement. And although the plumbers were kind, they did nothing. Literally just wasted my time.
