I have used Captain FIx-It for 3 projects in my house. Kit is the best. On time, and not many company's out there like his.

My neighbor and I contacted Stan to replace an old fence.  Stan came out and gave us a good estimate and time frame so we hired him.  He began tearing down the old fence that day.  During the course of time it rained, but rather than give excuses, he worked later into the evening and waited out the rain to finish the job on time.  I only say that to confirm his commitment.  His work is very good and I would recommend him.  He is very considerate and we plan on hiring for some future work we need done over the summer.

I will never use another plumber. These guys are great. They are honest, reliable, reasonable, and trustworthy. No one can compete.

Called Lindel's in the evening when I got home from work to have my water heater repaired. They were able to schedule an appointment next day and meet me when I was available to be at home. Excellent service!

Had a toilet installed last fall with another company, and I know I was WAY overcharged. When the other toilet in my house stopped working earlier this year, I contacted Westside Plumbing based on a friend's suggestion. They did the exact same service as the other company, for a MUCH lower price. Arrived on time, were friendly, and the install didn't take too long. Would definitely use WP's services again, and would recommend to others.

The service and service personnel were top notch, experienced, and gave us a great price, very satisfied, and don't have to worry about my basement for a long time!

Very informative and forthcoming with information!  Professional and courteous! Followup:  this company saved me $15,000 after a local company tried to get me to sign a contract to have them not only dig up my yard, my neighbor's shrub and the city street and pay to repave the street after telling me I had a busted sewer pipe. NuFlows superior equipment and service not only showed me the pipe was not broken, but they cleaned out the pipe and showed the condition of the pipe itself. And all at a reasonable, affordable price for my security.  Highly recommended!!!

I highly recommend Allen Plumbing Company. They were able to stealth through and find the root of my problem. It wasnt easy but Allen plumbing did not give up and worked on it until it was finally and completely resolved.  They are the most professional, reliable, knowledgeable company I have worked with and I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Darren came to service both of my gas fireplaces, one of which was old and  had a gas leak.  He cleaned it out, replaced the valve, and got it looking brand new.  Best of all, no more gas smell coming from the fireplace!  He showed me step by step how to light the fireplace and checked both for potential leaks while I was watching.  I suspected a gas leak coming from my stovetop and Darren performed a test, which indicated a few leaks.  He charged nothing additional to make those adjustments and had my stove working perfectly in no time.  He was super helpful and very friendly too!

This is the worst plumbing service I have ever used. Extremely unprofessional and rude staff. Staff acts like they don't want to be working so they do a crappy job fast and quick.

We had a stoppage in both sinks one of which is the disposal side with water spurting out of the pipes unto the kitchen floor Friday night after dinner. We called our contractor, Brian, with Kastle Contracting, who we trust and who has always done excellent work for us. He was unable to come, but suggested we call R & S Sewer. We left a message initially, but within 10 minutes, if that, we got a call back immediately from Jennifer to schedule with Jimmy for the morning. She said between 10:00 a.m., and 12:00 and he showed up well before noon, calling first to say he was on his way. When he got here, he quickly took care of the problem with a    roto rooter piece of equipment and nicely cleaned up everything besides! He brought Pam to help him on that Saturday and they are really great people. Very reasonable, didn't take a big dent out of our pocket either and we're very satisfied and highly recommend.

I can't say how his business is but he drives wreck less is a neighborhood full of kids. When asked to slow down that's there's kids in the neighborhood he replied they better stay on the sidewalks, that's what they're for! Ok well douche canoe kids make mistakes, run for balls or animals , and as your coming up to a stop sign so fast you can barely stop ask yourself this. Would it be ok that you hit a child cause they weren't on the sidewalk? Guaranteed a parent won't look at it like that so please be mindful of our kids in the neighborhood

My furnace stopped working so I called for a technician to come look at it and give me a quote for a repair.  Because I intended to call several companies to give me quotes, I asked that they waive their $89 fee for sending someone to my house, which they did.  The tech arrived and told me I need a new furnace ($9000).  I told him I can't afford that as I was about to go on disability.  I asked if it could be repaired.  He said he could replace a part for $4000 but didn't recommend I put money into it since the furnace is already 13 years old.  Instead, he kept pushing me to  get a new furnace and to finance it.  I told him again that I am going on disability and cannot afford any extra monthly bills.  He then admitted to me that when he is sent on runs for a free estimate, he isn't really even supposed to touch the furnace, or give me a repair quote, he is just supposed to give a quote for a new one.  He said my furnace was overheating and he reset it and removed the air filter so it would run a little longer.  He assured me the furnace would definitely shut off again in a few hours and I REALLY need a new one.  After he left, I had another HVAC tech come out, someone that was recommended by a friend and works for himself.  This man told me I just needed to replace my $30 air filter.  I did and I haven't had any other problems.  How many older or disabled people has this company taken advantage of?  Why not just admit you aren't sending out techs, you are sending out sales people to scare us into spending thousands of dollars ($9000 for a furnace is WAY above what it should cost) we don't need to spend.  Shame on you.   My next review will be to the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division.

Do not recommend. He collected my trip charge money but never even delivered an estimate. Replied that he didn't have the manpower to do the job. He never even started our job, let alone actually following through... he made $40 that day for nothing. The exact definition of someone who gives contractors a bad name.

Nine months ago, June 22, 1922,  Invoice 124011, Gurney L. Bush responded to a call that our toilet was overflowing when flushed.  They removed the toilet and ran a snake as far as they could. I noticed that they had gouged the toilet's wax seal, but did not hang around to ensure it was replaced with a new seal. They were not able to fix the sewer blockage and charged $165.  Later the tile grout around the toilet kept turning green and black and finally we observed water coming from the base of the toilet after each flush.  When Guerney was notified they stated they warrant work for 30 days, and too much time had elapsed, but they would replace the seal for $115.  I pulled the toilet myself and have several photos of the seal that shows the toilet should never have been replaced without replacing the wax seal.  They refused to take any responsibility, and worse yet, were not interested in learning one of their techs was doing unacceptable work.

I have had some plumbing issues that required some extensive work. We have a service agreement with Mowery, and would not consider going elsewhere.  
I would like to first thank all of the wonderful ladies that answer the phones. I just want you to know that I really appreciate all the appointments that were needed these past couple of weeks.

I also would like to thank Rob S.(he also had another associate with him, but I can't remember his name.) They really helped alleviate the anxiety that I had. We had a leak in the foundation and I was really freaking out. I have never been through anything like this, and they helped me a great deal by explaining the entire process.

I would like to thank plumbers Derek H, and Gary G. You guys had a tough job, but through the entire process, you guys took the time to update me, and while the job was alot of hard work, you guys were so professional and friendly.

This morning was the last part of the repairs. Our kitchen faucet stopped working during the leak. Was told probably sand in the line. We purchased a new one and had it installed by  plumber Corey W.
I was impressed again with another awesome Mowery employee. Corey finished the job quickly and he did an awesome job. He was very professional, and made sure I didn't have to lift a finger when he left. He even made sure the soap dispenser was full! Thank you Corey for being an amazing person and Mowery employee.

Lastly thank you to the owner Chip C. You have an amazing bunch of employees working for you. I am absolutely sure that it is a reflection of the owner.

10 years ago Just Drains cleared my 8 sewer line using a 6 cutter.  So their work having lasted a decade, I called them again.  I told the office, then the technician, that I had a 8 line and 40' run and needed a 6 cutter.

This time the technician used a 2 auger and apparently just bored a two inch hole in an 8 clog.  The drain ran for 5 weeks before the small hole closed up again.

I called and explained how I thought the technician messed up the job.  They said 30 days warranty, why didn't you call and complain after the technician left?

The phone person and manager were both quite rude saying that I was wrong about why the cleaning lasted 35 DAYS instead of 10 years and refused to make good.

When they ask if I wanted them to pay for them to come out again, I ask why I should pay for them to fix their technician's screw-up instead of calling their competitor for a proper job.  They hung up.
