Excellent! Professional, Friendly, Tidy! Emerald Plumbing installed all the new plumbing in my house and also my new water heater. They were prompt and called an hour early to confirm they were on their way. The team was friendly and professional. They covered the areas where they would be working on and cleaned up after they were done. Very professional, they inspected every nook and cranny and communicated efficiently. The day after an inspector came to check on the work they had done and said we had gone with a great company!

It took us a long time to get tiles to fit the space and when we finally did emerald had their tile man out the next day.

Not what we wanted but we had to make due with what we could find.

Fast efficient but billed for overtime rates at $290 for work done before 5 pm.... $290 quoted overtime rate turned into $320 charge adding $30 for snake fee. As if this was an extra piece of equipment required for the drain cleanout job quoted job and added $40 trip fee again as if getting here was not a part of the fee.   As a consequence I cannot recommend them as BILLING PRACTICES ARE DECEPTIVE... and I am an Architect and developer.  No complaint about plumber or his work just billing.   I hate misrepresentation in fees for services.  William Azzalino,  AIA

Emerald Plumbing came to my rescue on a holiday weekend when I opened my main water line only to have it rupture after contractors damaged my line on some exterior townhouse work while I was away. They were quick to respond and were out to my place in a few hours so I had running water by the evening.

However few days later a different plumbing company, that came out for a different unrelated issue, pointed the water line was leaking and I should call to have it repaired while it was on warranty-- so I did. Emerald sent out a guy to repair it and I explained what was going on and what the previous colleague did. Upon work completion (again), the man left and didn't consult with me. A week or two later I received a bill for the repair work. I had to call to dispute the charges, and explain again the repair was for the new line they had put in and it was under warranty.

At the end of the day, they got me out of a serious bind, but they didn't do the job correctly the first time and tried to charge me to repair their own work. Just an ok for me.

These guys are FANTASTIC!!! Purchased a new home that need to be replumbed. They set us up the day after closing. Their team arrived and nailed it. Completed a 3/2 split plan with many challenges in a day. Inspection two days later then drywall repair the next. Everything was as well organized as you can imagine. Can't praise these people enough. I was totally skeptical that: they could complete the task in a single day & I would see EVERY patch. Drywall team came in Ken and after retexturing you cannot tell they even opened the wall for access.
I have not had the pleasure to use on other tasks yet but I can only imagine and would expect the same professionalism.

Emerald should be your first call when it comes to plumbing. We've had a few issues over the years because of the age of our home and have called a few companies to come help us out.

They always provide quotes and price ranges up front, which is different than many other plumbers. They are honest on their hours and work expediently. I've found their rates to be very reasonable and transparent.

Every serviceman we've had has been knowledgeable, professional, and quick. They've each diagnosed and solved the problem and given guidance for what to do in the future. You can't ask for a better experience, in my opinion.

Young, enthusiastic 4 man platoon, led by helmsman Roger, did a superb job re-piping my home.  They worked together like a professional sports team.  Jefe Roger carefully explained each step to me.  The whole job was done in 5 hours.  Price was very reasonable.
Don't let the drilling and sawing get on your nerves.  Emerald has excellent customer service and they include drywall repair.

Recently, we decided to have our plumbing replaced. We saw Emerald at a neighbors house and asked or them to look at ours and give us a quote. 2 days later, we were given a very competitive quote for the work. We got on the schedule to have the work done in about a week. The crew, Ryan, Ramos, and Michael, came in and went right to work. They were pleasant & were very professional. They appeared to genuinely enjoy their job!!! The job took half the time we anticipated, and they cleaned up after they were done. A few days later, the drywall folks came in and handled the drywall in the same manner. I have never had what I would consider a good experience with contractors. Emerald changed that with a GREAT experience. I not only would recommend them, I will!!

They were quick, friendly, and efficient. They repiped my whole home in one day. They also include drywall repair for repiping in their quote. Very great value and excellent service overall.

My handyman does everything - except for plumbing.  When he has a plumbing job he calls Emerald.  Well, that is a good enough endorsement for me.  I have used Emerald for several small jobs over the years.  Things like replacing a water heater, replacing a bathtub spout, replacing a leaking riser line from the the bathtub diverter to the shower head and other things along those lines.  

Their prices per hour are fair - a lot better than some others I have called to check their rates.  Most importantly, they do quality work.  They show up when promised, clean up the work area and are friendly.  I have not had a bad experience with them.  What's not to like?

Horrible Experience. They left massive holes in my ceiling, exterior stucco, and in my walls. They missed several places when it came time to patching the holes in the walls and places around the house. I HIGHLY recommend you use a different plumbing company or you will have regrets.

REPIPING: Two neighbors recommended Emerald Plumbing because that's who repiped their homes.  We were happy to get the recomendations but not looking forward to the idea of having our home repiped. It sounded like it could be a nightmare. Well we got lucky. Emerald Plumbing with Chad and his team did the job in one day.  They went above and beyond making sure we were satisfied and all our requests were met, even though they had to do around two hours of extra work to achieve what we wanted done. All the guys were so polite and would take as much time as needed to explain what they were doing. The cuts they made were minimal compared to what we thought it would be,  I believe this is as close as you can get to a fun day, when having your home repiped. Good honest people who understand the value of treating customers right.

We called Emerald Plumbing aftera disappointing experience with Frank Gay.      Their price including drywall repair which was less than just the replumb at Frank Gay.  They didn't take payment until job was finished, which makes me feel much better than prepaying.  We have the pleasure of Joe, Jimmy, & Jack to repipe our home, always with a smile and explaining everything they did along the way.  I will definitely will refer Emerald Plumbing to anyone I know that needs plumbing work.  Great job guys!

I not sure how this company kept there linceases,  The complete the whole re-pipe on one of my property everything ok until I decide to remodel my bathroom. This is what you call cut Corners, incompetent and laziness they destroy my 1,500 dollar vanity to connect a water connection to the out of the property which should be run thru the inside of the walk or run thru the roof. Selling a house in Sanford, realtor said i needed a repipe. Called Emerald got a quote, set date for repair. Thy pulled permits, did job in 3 hours, sent in drywall crew and inspector next day, even got my 20 year old water heater replaced. Can't really see what they did, can't really even tell they were here except for all new connections. Would use again just hoping I never have to.

We had a water heater issue and over the phone the technician diagnosed the problem to save us a service call fee that would result in a recommendation to replace the water heater. We hired them for the replacement and they did it fast and the price was very much in line with other quotes we received I would recommend them highly

If you are looking for a reliable plumber who does a fantastic job, look no further. We had an active leaks in our condo and they came out and quickly diagnosed the problem. Their pricing is fair and their repipe crew is very friendly and did a great job.

I broke a faucet on a Friday night. I called the after hours number and Shawn told me he had three stops before he could get to my house. He showed up at 11 pm and got us sorted out. I will use them again in the future.

Didn't do the job I paid them to do. I paid to replace old water lines under a house based on their advice. They replaced part of the lines but they were too lazy to replace them all. The work was not in a visible spot so I didn't realize the job was incomplete.  Subsequently the old lines failed. Conversations with them were nasty and they did not stand behind their work or lack of it.

After using Emerald for 10 years and spending 5000 bucks or so, I'm now a former customer. Emerald made me wait 4 days for a plumber, then stood me up. I called Herrell Plumbing, who sent a guy to my house within an hour. Let's see: 4 days, no show vs 1 hour, results. Yes, I have a new plumber. I will never wait 4 days again for a plumber.

This was the fastest plumbing install I've had too. When I got the bill at the end I was so shocked. Their pricing is much more reasonable and affordable than others. I could not believe how much I saved versus getting scammed by other companies I used to use. The previous company I used charged me 4x what they charged me for the exact same thing. Next time I need a plumber, I will be calling them. I wish I had known about them earlier. Thank you for caring about customers!

Late Sunday night, I had a flood in my bathroom which seeped into the bedroom and through the garage wall. The answering service was VERY polite and empathetic. Frank called me back within an hour, triaged the issue based on what I told him and when I asked him to come out, he advised several times about the $285 charge, I repeated that I was OK with it. (I'm guessing he's dealt with a few customers who may have denied knowing about the charge. No worries... I definitely needed help.)

After showing up 45 minutes later, Frank was courteous and knowledgeable. Then, he went outside and climbed on top of the roof to work through the vent. Keep in mind, when I've called plumbers over the last 10 years, they would go on the roof as a last resort citing, If it comes back, then we'll go through the roof vent.

This means, I was VERY pleasantly surprised that he did this without hesitation AND remember... this was in the dark on a Sunday night.

Emerald plumbing is currently in our community working on replacing our poly butyryl pipes. Besides doing a great job with replacing the pipes, they are just great people!!! I am Currently walking with a walker due to recent surgeries and was on my way to the dumpster with my trash when one of the Emerald Plumbing guys ran up and asked me if he could take care of it for me!! He was so kind and I greatly appreciated his help! This company goes above and beyond not only in their services but also with their customer service and just plain people skills!! I have heard nothing but positive reviews from my entire condominium community since they've been on property! If I could give this company 10 stars I would! Don't hesitate to contact this company if you need any help with any plumbing issues because they are THE BEST!!!

Awful. Had them do a really-plumb and they never came got the final inspection done. I had to do it in my own. Called again for a problem they found with the clean out. No show and no call for the appointment, even though they said they did. Office staff were no help and not engaging at all. Asked for my invoice to be emailed to me and they said it would take 24 hrs. Why? So disappointing. Always looking for help with my rental properties and they definitely weren't help

Go to close on the sale of my rental house they did the work on and they never closed the permit from 2 years ago and it delayed my closing. Also just checked my credit card charges and they charged me $500 more than my paid invoice shows. This has been a nightmare to deal with them and I'm shocked they are still in business

We had our townhouse repiped by Emerald Plumbing so we referred them to our neighbor. Our neighbor had her townhouse repiped january 23, 2020. The repipers left and my husband went out to look due to the flowerbed was messed up. They stepped on our downspout and crushed it. I reached out to Emerald Plumbing to let them know. Emerald Plumbing you are at fault and need to take ownership and fix the downspout instead of putting blame on the HOA landscapers as they do not landscape my flowerbed with mulch and rocks in it. Never again will I refer you to any neighbors, family or friends.

These guys advertise with a local podcast. Since I am a fan, I gave them a call when I had a kitchen sink clog that I was not able to clear myself. I called at about 7:30pm and was greeted by their operator, who was very professional and courteous. She paged the after hours plumber and had him call. After 30 mins, I haven't heard from anyone and called back to make sure my info made its way to their plumber on call. She paged him again and after a few mins I received a call. Well, it must have been a long day for this guy because our conversation was very short. He asked if wanted to have him come out and be charged for overtime, which I didn't think was necessary. Anyway, I decided to have someone come out in the morning. He said he would have the office call me in the morning to get on the schedule. I have yet to hear from them. I'm going to assume this was just someone's bad day, since my brother said they did a great job on re-piping his home. Unfortunately, I don't think there will be a next time for me here.

I can't say enough good things about Emerald Plumbing.  They arrived on time, brought plenty of help, got right to work, were very conscientious, respectful, efficient and quick.  Everyone had their tasks and they worked perfectly as a team.   I had a complete re-piping done.  They pulled the permit and had an inspector come out after the job.  The next day the drywall people they sent came out and were exceptionally good as well.  I am very pleased we chose Emerald Plumbing!

Had a window of 12-4pm to wait for service.
At 3:30 I called to see if someone would be out still within my window.  
AFTER 4pm I got a call back telling me that they were running behind and would be out after 5:00 now.
I find this very disrespectful of my time. Someone could have called earlier to at least give me a warning of a delay.
Delays happen- but communicate. That's all it would have taken.
When I called to let receptionist know, very nicely, that I no longer wanted their service because of this- she could not have cared less.
I'd rather support a company that respects my time and values my business.

Worst service ever! Called at 8am have them all my info, they told me cost estimates etc. and gave me a window noon to 5pm. They told me he would call 30 minutes out and I failed to answer phone they would not come. I carried my phone everywhere all day! It got to 4 I thought I would check and make sure they were coming and I got we have no record of you in our system SERIOUSLY?!?! I must have sounded upset cuz I was told I don't need to raise my voice and then they told they would check one more time and they came back and simply said nope we have no record? No apology mind you...I told them they must have enough customers and don't need this one.. called Ferran!

I recently had plumbing issues with an outdated water softener that needed to be removed. I called various places but Emerald plumbing seemed to be not only be the most organized, but also the most reasonably priced out of the places I called. They were diligent about arriving at the house when they said they would, and the plumber was quick and efficient, showing me step by step what he had done to remove the outdated device and replace the pipes. Overall good experience.

I had Chad & his team come & do a re-pipe at my house in Oviedo , what a great team , showed up on time , completed the work on time & little mess , & then the drywall team came in after inspection & you would never know that they had been there , would certainly recommend this company & they will be my local plumber in future, thank you guys .

May 8, 2019.  After calling Emerald regarding, what we thought a small leak, we discover we have multiple leaks because of the old gray pipes...long story short; Jeff quickly remedied the leak issue. His professional, knowledgable and thorough explanation of the current and future problems with the pipes convinced us to schedule the long overdue re-pipe. Jeff provided us an immediate and very reasonable price quote with a target date of May 24, 2019.  

The morning of the 24th the crew arrived at the scheduled time. These gentlemen were all courteous and professional. It was obvious from the start that they were a team and each knew exactly what was to be done. After a very brief walk through the team supervisor (Chad C.) quickly assigned individual tasks and then he began explaining their game plan to us. Chad was very informative, patient and open to questions.  At no time did we have any concern or anxiety regarding the work that ensued.  Work began promptly at 9:00am (as promised) and a little over six hours later, the team are busy gathering up their equipment, vacuuming floors and wiping cabinet and appliances off (impressive!).  One thing I noticed, and must mention, was something that stood out and clearly demonstrated their level of professionalism. When one guy finished his task, he didn't hesitate to ask another if they needed help and jumped right in if they said yes.

At completion, Chad walked us through what had been done plumbing wise, and what to expect when the drywall crew arrives the following Tuesday.

Mr. Liam should be very proud of what he has created and how he has instilled his technicians with a positive work ethos which ultimately carries over into the field as individual professionalism, pride and quality of work. Kudos!

I have used Emerald for all my plumbing needs since 2014. From a leak in the pipe to re-plumbing my entire home (replacing copper pipes from 1942) to switching from electric to gas, to relocating my W/D. The same friendly, highly-skilled employees ~ Hugh and Richie and the back-office team ~ Myrna and Alex have been around from the beginning and they all go above and beyond to help me immediately. I trust them to work in my home whether I am there or not and trust them with my dog, whom they treat so well. I highly recommend them for all plumbing needs.

I am a Hispanic female and I live with my husband; an older white male and our dog in the kirkman and conroy area and late last year our landlord called this company to come and replace copper pipes that were leaking in our home. Three young white males and one older white male with Irish accents showed up to do the work. My husband let them in and after speaking with them, he went in his office to work and I went in our bedroom to take a nap. Within mins of these guys being in our home they were so triggered by my presence and must've  thought I was sleeping because every couple of mins they would walk past the bedroom door which was close to their work site and would make racial slurs/racial comments. A cpl of singles on our coffee table went missing as well. Not only are they bigots, they are thieves as well. Do not let these thugs into your homes.

I called in the morning because I had water coming out from underneath my kitchen sink.  Dave the  tech came by at 3 the same day and in under an hour it was repaired.  The price was as quoted, and Dave was pleasant and professional.  I will definitely call them again when I need a plumber!

I used Emerald for a repipe of my house.  The guy who did the estimate was fantastic about explaining everything.  And then the guys who did the repipe were super courteous, very quick and left everything looking good!

I had a dripping Tub /Shower faucet. The Delta Cartridge was stuck. Emerald Plumbing quote is reasonable and especially they could come the next morning. Mr. Frank Bell arrived on time wearing mask. He even offered to take off his shoes. He was very friendly and answered all our questions courteously. He shut the water at the main and promptly extract the stubborn cartridge and install my new cartridge. No more dripping. I am very satisfied and thus highly recommend Mr. Frank Bell and Emerald Plumbing.

I wish I knew what this plumbing experience was actually like, but I could not get past the EXTREMELY rude office staff answering the phone.

Fast knowledgeable service! The green truck arrived full of all the supplies that a plumber could ever wish for! Ken came in, took off his shoes and diagnosed the issue. He was able to get the job done in less than 20 minutes, with no unexpected additional charges. He was amiable, neatly attired and thorough.  I would highly recommend this company for any plumbing emergencies.

I gave two stars because if I wasn't busy with a scheduled day I would have been stoked the guy was early. And maybe it's not his fault Mirna has an attitude

I scheduled an appointment a week ahead, they said I'd get a call 30 mins before, the guy shows up at least 15 mins early (appt is at 9 and I get home at 845) and at 915 I call to find out where he is. The lady answering the phone, Mirna(?), is defensive easily. She says he called me and no lights were on in my house and he left. I told her I was home at 9 with no call, she repeats herself in an annoyed tone that makes me just say goodbye, I'll get someone else. She calls back in a voicemail starting with, what I was going to say before you hung up is we can get you in later. If you show up early and I'm not here, that's great being early but I booked my whole day so leaving because youre early and then cutting me off before I can tell you that is rude. He could have been even earlier, who knows, but I was here 15 mins before the appointment.

Also, Harvey's plumbing charges $95 the first hour and they charge $125 an hour and Harvey has just as good reviews. I would like to have my plumbing fixed today but not a fan of how their customer service is. Maybe they overbooked and were trying to get one in early to make it all happen but now I'm waiting a week for Harvey to come out with a leaky toilet because Mirna's attitude blows and I ain't helping pay that tone of voice.

I recently purchased a 1925 home complete with all the old galvanized plumbing that had been cut into with CPVC over the years.  I called them (along with a few other companies) to get a quote and fully expected to get raked over the coals.  Not only was their quoted price well within my budget, they were the only contractor that actually followed up with a quote!  That's just the beginning of the story though.  Hugo is the re-pipe estimator and he is a great guy to work with.

I am selling a house as well, and this house had polybutylene throughout.  While I had never had a problem with the system, the house was over 20 years old and it was only a matter of time.  Besides, the buyer of the property would have been unable to get an insurance policy and that would have killed the sale!  Again, fully expecting to get sold down the river on price, these guys came in very competitively and once again, the only company to actually give me a quote in a timely manner.

So, we were able to set up both properties to be done on the same day by two separate teams.  One headed by Patrick and the other by Darren.  Both of them were conscientious to a tee about the work that needed to be done.  They were also extremely responsive to a couple of minor changes we wanted to make to the original plan.  Since I couldn't be in two places at once I had Patrick's team work at the house being sold unattended for the entire day.  The did a two-story house with a kitchen on the opposite side from the rest of the plumbing in the course of about 6 hours!!!  The older home took a little more time but Darren and his team were again fantastic in dealing with a multitude of 'discoveries' made as they opened the walls to get at the old plumbing.  With all of that said they were done in a little more than 8 hours.

Cutting walls and ceilings is messy work and I honestly was wondering what type of mess we were going to be left to clean up.  The short answer is NONE.  I think we did find a small piece of plaster that had rolled away from the work area, but they got everything else and I mean everything!!!

I now have the ability to sell my old house and give the buyer full assurance of a 10 year labor warranty and 25 years on the new PEX system.  I have the same piece of mind at my new house, that while I may have other issues with various things that come with an old house, plumbing won't be one of them.  And should I EVER have an issue on the drainage side (which we did not have to do) - they will not only be the first company I call, they will be the ONLY company I call.

One final thought, as Blaine was collecting the money for both properties he made a comment about how it's hard to sink money into something you can't really see.  Great observation and in many cases I might even agree, but in this case I can't imagine the money being better spent!  We can sleep at night not worrying about the house flooding out and we have hot and cold running water at every faucet - something we didn't have when we first moved in.

Other reviewers have made the comment about making them your first call for your plumbing needs.  Make them your only call - you won't be disappointed!!!

Did thousands of dollars in plumbing with multiple jobs. Was disappointed when I had a problem. The front desk person really forced me to quit my service over a new garbage disposal that was defective and wanted to charge me $120 to come out and fix it. Got a lot of back talk for lady in office. Seems that when something goes wrong you are not right and must pay. Don't recommend and moving on

I called Emerald Plumbing because my gas water heater stopped working and my usual Plumbing company, Belzer Plumbing, no longer services gas as their gas guy left.  Before calling the plumber, I checked my propane tank which indicated about 20% so I figured the water heater was the problem.

Emerald came out, and told me that they could either replace the tank the next day for ~$1200 or repair the burner which would take over a week for ~$500-$600.  I asked the guy if he was sure it was getting gas, and he said yes it was.  This is our only water heater, so the repair would effectively mean no hot water for over a week.  The reason I was told the repair would take so long is that they don't just sell a part, and a whole new burner would need to be reassembled w/ parts that would take some time to get.  I was a bit leery of this explanation, so decided to get another opinion - so I called a company called Apopka Bottle Gas, which is where the previous gas guy from Belzer went, since I had dealt with him in the past I figured I could trust him.

The problem turned out to be ... wait for it ... an empty propane tank.  The gauge was stuck hence the 20% reading was incorrect.  Now, you could say this was my fault and I should have known the gauge could stick, but I would counter the guy from Emerald who works on gas appliances for a living should have known this as well and I even asked if he was sure it was getting gas.  The guy from Belzer also told me that even if it was the burner, that this type of burner can be repaired or replaced quickly and the story about it taking a week to reassemble is BS.  When I told him what Emerald had told me, he said I know what he's talking about, there are some burners that do have to be reassembled like that but this is not one of them.  

I called Emerald the next day and explained what happened and asked for the service call charge to be refunded, which they did without argument although they added we usually do not do this.  I am going to give Emerald the benefit of the doubt here, hence my 2 star rating rather than 1-star, and assume this was just an honest mistake.  Even if that's the case, in my opinion the guy should have known better.  However, there is also the distinct possibility that this was a deliberate upsell, and the story about the repair taking over a week seems to support this.  In summary, best case the service tech was incompetent, worst case he's a crook, either way I will not use Emerald again nor would I recommend them.  I do appreciate that they refunded the service charge, at the end of the day no harm no foul but again I won't call them in the future.

Called on a Saturday morning for a clogged main drain. Frank was there within 3 hours and fixed it. He was courteous, efficient, explained everything, and cleaned up after himself.  The charge was ~$200 for an hour of work, but so it goes.

Emerald Plumbing was a real find for me. My home needed a complete re-pipe. Their crew was efficient and thorough. They even re-piped the laundry area for a more efficient and thoughtful layout at no additional charge. That was an unexpected treat. They were on the job on time and out the same day on my 1,100 sf home. Emerald Plumbing had a drywall contractor lined up to patch and fix all cuts made for the re-pipe (which were kept to a minimum). He came in the next day, patched everything up and it was ready for paint, this was included in the bid from Emerald. Like I said: efficient. Hugo and his team are a pleasure to work with. I couldn't be happier that I made that call.

Scheduled an appointment in advance and was told Friday from 2-6pm. Called Friday morning day to confirm appointment and they said yes for 2-6pm.

I get a call at 3:30pm saying they can't accommodate me and they don't work weekends and the earliest was monday afternoon.

We hired Emerald to do a total re-pipe of our home. They were very professional, from the initial explanation of the project to the efficient and respectful technicians to the immaculate clean up afterwards. And their price was very reasonable. I'd recommend them to anyone.

We've used them like 4 times now. They're always on time and always in a great mood!
We had a bunch of issues with the drainage in our house (it ended up being a septic tank that we didn't know we had) but they cleared out the drain enough until we could get someone out to fix the septic issue. After getting our septic taken care of they came out and re-piped/fixed what the septic company broke. I've also used them at my shop to cut and cap off an unused pipe. ATTN ALL FIRST TIME HOME OWNERS... our house was built in the 60s which means we had galvanized piping that required updating. We arranged to have the seller pay for the repairs- money was put in Escrow and we needed only to submit the invoice to our title company so they can directly pay Emerald plumbing (EP) when finished. Simple process. We called only to provide a time/date for scheduling.

The crew that came out I will say did a great job, HOWEVER, the next day when discussing payment with the office (Romona Grey), I was told that because I did not pay on-site after the plumbing was completed that they had a right to place a LIEN on my new house!!!!

I tried to explain that the sellers had arranged payment this way and we were merely told to schedule and have company send in the invoice. The billing was never explained to us and we thought that this process was normal. Romona, from EP basically said it was my fault and when I told her that all she needed to do was email the invoice that title company and they would cut the check for them the very same day and mail out very same day, she got more irritated. I told her that the title company also offered to cut the check and have EP pick it up same day in person, Romona replied YOU should pick it up and bring it to US ( in a VERY stern and cold voice). I had to express to her that at the end of the day I'm still a costumer and the tone she was using was rude and UNPROFESSIONAL! I drove more than 30 mins to bring EP the check made by the title company which was only 10 minutes away from their office. The following is also a list of other issues aside from them Bullying to issue a lien on our house!!

- was told the job would be 1 day, technically it's 1 day for plumbing and another day to have drywall finish your walls
- the payment was required on-site after the plumbers finished their portion but the work was not completed!! Drywall needed to come in and still patch up all the walls... YET they're demanding payment on a job unfinished!!!
- Romona response was I'm sorry you feel that way is not an apology
- I believe it was the owner in his glass office that did NOTHING to step out and apologize for any inconvenience or thank me for providing the check less than 24 hrs later when the drywall ppl were still working on my house

Bottom line- I would never again use this company or recommend my friends. I know 3 other ppl who have had a terrible experience and one is my reputable realtor. The way this was handled reflects poorly and no one did anything to make it right!

We love Emerald Plumbing.  They replaced all of the supply lines, the water heater and added a few outside faucets.  They arrived early and got the job done in one day.  The guys were professional, courteous and well organized.  The office staff was friendly, even when I had to call and reschedule.  The county inspector said they never have an issue where Emerald doesn't pass inspection.   We will certainly call them the next time we need a plumber.

We had a shower leak and they came within a couple hours of my calling. Ken was very knowledgable and fixed it in like 30 minutes. Great service!

George was efficient, very knowledgeable, and very nice. He fixed our water heater in one day, going out to get the parts the same day himself rather than wait for them to be delivered, because the Emerald Plumbing team was worried about our heater shorting.  They even gave us a discount since we had the initial consult and final service the same day.  Highly recommend!

I am writing this review on behalf of my parents, per their request! My parents had a broken spigot that forced them to have to turn off the water to the house. Emerald Plumbing was quick to the rescue and promptly fixed the problem at a fair price. Friendly and fast service. We really appreciated it!

After getting Emerald recommended to me by several neighbors, for a repipe, I gave them a call.  Started out well, guy was there later in the day and was friendly and thorough in his review and explanation of the job.  Got my quote via email and wanted to ask some questions.  Called, and the office person was totally miffed I wanted to speak with the guy who was at my house.  I can answer questions.  Well, if you were in my house and looked at my bathroom you could...but since you weren't maybe the person I asked for could please call me?  He's in the field, no way to call until tomorrow.  Fine.  Not a very nice person. After hanging up I sent an email to the field guy with the info I was going to ask about so he could be prepared.  AND sent an email back to the person who sent my quote asking for an estimate of when they would be able to do the work.  Over a week has gone by, no call, no emails, no nothing.  Their work might be good (it appears so from the many recommendations) but the theme of the office being a mess seems very true.  They were the lowest bid with the most recommendations but if you have to chase them when they are SELLING you the job, what chance do you have after, during their 10 year warranty period?  Sorry, took a pass and went with another recommended firm who WANTED my business.  Guess this is another example of our good economy.

Ed was awesome he was able to complete the job under an hour and professional. No difficulties scheduling the appointment.

Used them on Christmas Eve because our garbage disposal was leaking. Service was great and they installed a new one at a reasonable price considering the Saturday and holiday hours the employee was out. I would recommend.

Let me tell you about the horrible experience I had by phone with Emerald Plumbing today. As an owner of a rental I requested for them to look at an issue with my tub since they re-plumb the entire home June 2013 and im thinking it is a warranty issue. They were to make arrangements with the tenant for entry into the rental to check out the problem. I did not hear from them until i called and spoke with the tech who describe the issue and also informed me that they needed to order 1 more additional canister. So i said okay and i waited. According to my cell phone history the last time I spoke with them on December 7th regarding the status of the part that needed to be ordered. It has not come in at that time Let me add the only reason I found out about what the issue was and the status is because I had to call them. I  haven't heard anything else so I called the tenant who informed that she doesn't work from home anymore so she hasn't been home to grant them access. Their lack of communication is horrible. Emerald Plumbing should have shared with me since I am the point of contact for any communication and payment on my rental.

They failed to informed me that they were having issue getting access. If they were having issues i would have driven up to meet them and let them in myself. If it was a payment issue I bet my phone will be ringing non-stop but they conveniently wanted to blame me and tell me that they informed me that were having issues getting access to the unit. So when I called today Kira's tone and attitude was inappropriate. I called back and asked to speak with the manager of Kira and the Assistant Manager answered and she attempted to try and passed blame on to me as what I perceived as inappropriate. She went on to try and say she heard me yelling and that infruiated me because she was trying to say something to justify Kira's actions when in fact i wasnt yelling at all; not once did I raised my voice. Yes I repeatedly asked her question after question that she couldn't answered because they have no records of the work order. Conveniently, if it was money due to them they would be dialing my cell trying to collect and there would have been a work order.

I will be posting an update because they now have to send a message out to all their workers to see who went out to do the work and what part were they waiting for.

So far, Emerald has been excellent. They got the poly repiped to pex within a day, and ever since, they have been wonderful about coming out if we had any problems. I had an issue with a leak that my utility company told me about. Emerald was out within a day, and they didn't charge me for the visit. So far, they have been one of the better parts of my home owning experience. I plan on using them for all my future plumbing needs. Thanks!

We had a blocked line that required snaking.  Armando was outstanding in his customer service.  He communicated to us clearly what was wrong and how he would fix it.  He then proceeded to efficiently resolve the problem.  After years of looking for a reliable, reasonably priced plumber, we are thrilled to have found Emerald!

Service was performed effectively, efficiently and personably.  Every aspect of our interaction with Emerald, from our first call to resolution of the problem was representative of best in class service.

They came out to fix the leak from the bathroom to the garage. It wasn't possible because the leak was related to age of the shower glass and the worn out grout in between of the tiles. However, they replaced the old shower cartridge and charged $295.49 (2* 95 service call, trip charge of $30 and materials $75.49). When I called for an update I was told the invoice and the report was sent out. I requested to resend it twice and didn't get it until today. I called a different plumbing company to get another opinion about the leak. When they came out today, it turned out that the cartridge was installed upside down (which doesn't have anything to do with the leak of course but still was surprising to say the least). So I called them back and made them aware of it and the representative told me that the person who installed had years of experience. The customer service representative was impatient, defensive and made rude remarks.
I would never recommend this company to anyone! Incompetent customer service and lack of professional skills!

I have used Emerald Plumbing for a rental home and my own personal residence, and they provide excellent service every time! Today I called them in a pinch needing them to do a repair so we could proceed with a closing on a property (I'm a Realtor in orlando), and they were able to come out to do the repair the same day!! Many other Realtor's in my office use Emerald Plumbing also. I would highly recommend anyone who needs plumbing work to call Emerald Plumbing.

Great job and good customer service. Frank did my repair this morning, he was friendly and knowledgeable. When I made my appointment I was told they would arrive from 9-9:30, Frank called in the morning and advised of his arrival time. He was right within schedule. The repair was done within a reasonable time. I feel companies that charge per hour tend to prolong repairs on purpose to charge more and I didn't get that feeling with Emerald. This is the second time I use them and each time job has been done well. I would recommend them to a friend.

Frank was amazing! These guys came out to my house due to a drainage problem, came out within 30 minutes, figured out it wasn't a real problem and waived the fee. These guys are trustworthy and honest and awesome. I would trust them entirely to do a good job with any of my plumbing needs.

Received an outstanding plumbing deal from them. They worked efficiently and installed our whole condos plumbing in one full day and even worked around our schedule to earn our business. Will be using them for all our plumbing needs.

This was my first plumber experience, so I have nothing to compare it to.

I'll add another good review to the Brian's pile. I called Thursday afternoon due to some problems with a very slow kitchen drain, they told me between 2-6pm. He arrived at 5:30 which was somewhat disappointing that it was the end of the range, but not something to complain about - they give a range for a reason.

Anyhow, he was friendly and listened to my very amateur rundown of what was going wrong and what we'd already done. He was perplexed for a second but then got right on ideas. After searching for vents and getting into the ones that my house's previous owner had sealed up he figured out that wasn't the problem or the solution.

He finally decided that he'd just have to snake it out and got on it. It worked perfectly and my drain is flowing fine now.

He was friendly and professional. He knew what to look for and figured things out.

My only critique is that he didn't have the camera snake thing to investigate which would have made things quicker.

Price was fair: $30 trip fee. $85/hour. Not too, too bad.

UPDATE: After calling them several times they got my credit of $116.00.  Since I thought they reneged on the credit, then I contacted the credit card company and I let that reach its conclusion.  They gave me more credit.  Why?  I was billed for 3 hours of work NOT performed.  They need to explain the flat fee better because they made it sound like if they were done in an hour then that was it.  These are shady billing practices and myrna confuses people on purpose.  This is not good. You can do better!

Extremely friendly, timely and professional company. I've had them out to my house twice and both have been good experiences. They are very forthright, and I would recommend Emerald to my friends and family.

I chose Emerald to re-pipe my house despite their not being the low cost provider. Because as my Dad always said you get what you pay for however in this case he was wrong. With Emerald you get far more than you pay for in terms of service, quality and professionalism as their team of Darren, Joe, Andrew and Blaine was exceptional. They triple checked each other's work and made sure I both understood and was comfortable with the process. Emerald Plumbing now has a client for life!

Professional and quality service for a reasonable price which is so hard to find these days. Impeccable response time as well. Would use these guys again without a question.

Upon discovering that our house in Orlando had polybutylene pipes and the inherent problems facing them as they age and the fact that many insurance companies won't even insure a house with polybutylene pipes, I did the required research and settled on Emerald Plumbing to perform the whole house re-piping.  It is a fascinating process to watch as they showed up with a team of 5 or 6 guys and completely re-piped the house in 1 day!  Their team of workers worked very well together.  They disconnect the original piping and then run everything through the rafters/trusses of the house.  Obviously, they remove large sections of drywall in order to bring the pipes down from above and connect to the different faucets, toilets, etc.  They also use 1/4 turn shut off valves which are wonderful.  I will say that you need to hover because I feel like they did try to do some shortcuts.  The main one I'm thinking of is when we had them install the plumbing for a pot filler and instead of solidly securing the pipe against a 2x4 secured between the two studs, the worker fastened it to one stud and then tried to secure it with a metal plate.  Now, knowing this is all going to be between walls and having a little weight to it, I simply did not feel comfortable with that setup.  I asked the guy in charge about it and he had him correctly install it.  That's great but, at this price and with their reputation, they shouldn't be taking any shortcuts. So, anyway, they completed the re-piping in 1 day and did a pressure test, which they called me out to witness.   Yes, it did, indeed, hold pressure.  They left and the next day, their drywall guys came in and and refinished all the drywall repairs.  They don't do any painting BUT they put the drywall back together and match the finished texture so, once it's painted, you don't even know it's been cut.  They finished all that work within a day so the entire house re-piping took a total of 2 days.  WELL, EXCEPT for a problem!  About 6 days later, my wife went into a part of the house which we don't typically use and found the ceiling soaked, the wall of the bathroom soaked, and water on the floor!  We called Emerald and a worker came out and, yes, there was a bad crimp in one of the lines and it had been leaking for 5 or 6 or 7 days before my wife realized it.  They repaired that leaky crimp
    Now, Emerald didn't hesitate and called a water damage company who came out and tore apart that bathroom and the hallway because they found mold from the leak.  That meant that they had to mitigate that mold, bringing in fans and taping off the hallway for a week or so.  It took the water damage repair folks almost 2 weeks to complete their work so the total job, for us, was about 3 weeks of headaches.  
    I guess I was most disappointed in the fact that the owner of Emerald never visited or called and said sorry.  It would have gone a long way since it disrupted our lives for WAY more than 2 days.  Now, Emerald paid for all the repairs so I have no complaint there.  Overall, their work was good BUT don't just believe that all will be well and not check things closely for a couple of weeks after the work is completed.  Had my wife seen this problem sooner, the hassle would have been much less.  
    I gave 4 stars because, overall, I think they did very good work and they worked together seamlessly but I can't give 5 starts because of the shortcuts and leaking crimp we experienced.  Two other people used them in our neighborhood without any problem whatsoever so I know this is an anomaly but I still feel I need to let potential customers know our experience.

Emerald Plumbing did a great job re-plumbing our house. They fit us into their schedule and got the job done quickly. They even made a few modifications for us at no extra charge, and sent someone to patch the drywall when they were done. We couldn't be happier with Emerald Plumbing, and would highly recommend them.

I hired them for a plumbing repair and the repair took 3 days to complete. Needlessly to say I was WITHOUT water for 3 days. Each day I was the last call. And when I received the bill it was way over the price that I was quoted. But when I called the office to question, I was constantly being threatened the account going to collection. There are better plumbers to use out there.

Back in mid January I found I had a water leak the hard way on a Sunday of ALL days...  I called 2 places and the first one to respond would get my business and Emerald called me back in 5 minutes.

They dispatched a truck to my home and in about 30 minutes the man arrived. It turned out the valve to the sprinkler system cracked on the output end and he was able to stop the leak right away. He offered to fix it right then as emergency rates or to live without a sprinkler system until Monday and pay regular rates. I chose to wait until Monday.

He said he would have someone from the office call me first thing to schedule an appointment and said they would bill me for the trip when the job was complete. Monday at 9AM promptly I received a call and the service call was set for Wednesday at 1pm. At about a quarter till 1 the they showed up, replaces the valve in about 30 minutes.

Not only did they waive the trip charge for the weekend but I was actually shocked at how reasonable their rates were. I had something like this happen before moving back to Florida and was charged 3x what Emerald charged me.

They are NOW on speed dial if I need a plumber!

Thank You Austin!!!!!   I had a leak outside my home, that we couldn't locate, and I called Emerald plumbing. When Austin showed up, no one was home, so i walked him through where i thought the issue was.  After running the water for a while, Austin couldn't find it, but he did not give up, we walked through all the possible places there could be a problem, and he even called the landscaper that caused the damage to see what he could find out.

while most people just would have left the job and made me call a leak finder, Austin was patient and thorough and solved my problem, all with the best disposition imaginable.  I will definitely call Emerald again and ask for Austin.

This is unfortunately the third time I've had to call Emerald for plumbing help, but each time they've been complete pros and have helped solve my issues at a very reasonable price.  The latest issue was that the shower wasn't draining.  Emerald sent somebody out very quickly and the problem was fixed the same day.  Will continue to call Emerald for any plumbing needs.

finally found my plumber!  met him when he was the only person in the city who could make a call to stop my leaking rusted out water heater from flooding my basement.  Never cheap but always done carefully and correctly!   He is quite busy, I never mind waiting... plumbing issues no longer stress me, I just call Scott!

The plumbers who do the work, five plus stars.  The young lady who answers the phone will cause us to never do business with this company again.  She had an attitude with both my husband and I upon initial contact, we wrote it off as just one person at the company as we had heard good things.  She then laid into my father in law after I had been rushed to labor and delivery and he was trying to arrange payment for services.  Great job having any compassion for your customers and being so rude as he was trying to discuss what the options were as we were in the hospital.

I am very pleased with Emerald plumbing. This is my first time hiring a plumbing service and Erik, the service tech, did a great job. I had a leaking toilet and he came in, quickly troubleshooted the problem and fixed it within the first half hour. He even gave me recommendations/instructions on how to fix my other toilet. Great service and I would definitely use this company again. Highly recommend!

I'm floored with how honest and efficient these guys are. I moved into a new house recently and the former owner had tons of plumbing hack-jobs done, including a second story shower leaking to the room below it and the water heater piped with no shutoff valves. I thought the problem was going to take at least a full day to fix but Brian Chief Bailey and his crew member fixed it in less than two hours. They piped the water heater in 30 minutes and even spent some time educating me on my septic tank. They were both super friendly too. I hope I can get either one when I call back for future help.

Daz, Brian, Randy, Mike, Ryan and Blain (that's not a name. its a major appliance!) Re-piped our house yesterday. They were fantastic. After 9 days with no running water we were thrilled when they finished. They did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone!

Woke up to an overflowing hot water heater this morning and called Emerald Plumbing based off of reviews found online. I can't begin to say how happy I was when Ian and Erick showed up at my door after sopping up water all morning. They were friendly and super efficient - replacing my ancient water heater in a little over an hour. They also took care of replacing small parts on my toilets after noticing that they were in need of repair. I was really pleased with the service provided and will definitely be using Emerald for any future  plumbing needs!

I used these guys as a referral from my realtor Jeff Singletary. They were everything he said they were prompt, professional quality of work is awesome. I would recommend Emerald plumbing to anyone that needed some plumbing work done. Be it a repipe like myself or service work.

We had Emerald come out to our house after our sink immediately stopped working one night. They came out promptly and fixed the issue and educated us on several things. A few hours later, we realized that the dishwasher wasn't working anymore. They came back out the next day (Austin was his name) and fixed that issue as well without charging us again. When there's so many options when it comes to plumbers in the Orlando area, it;s nice to find a company that does their job efficiently, cost effectively and friendly!

I had a leak in my water main that was running about 10 gallons per minute. I called at 12 noon on a Friday and was told someone would be there in 25 minutes. Eric showed up in 20 minutes and found the leak in moments. He was done in an hour and the bill was under $125 for a perfect repair. I wouldn't hesitate to call Emerald again for any plumbing needs. This is a first-rate company. Highly recommended!

What was a sewer backup nightmare turned out to have a good ending, thanks to Emerald Plumbing. Due to repeated sewage backup, we called Emerald to get a second opinion on the problem. Erick and Dave snaked and clean out the line, scope with a camera, then took it another step further by digging into the ground and visually check to see what was causing the obstruction underneath the ground. They found debris and roots growing into the county clean out tap due to a missing cap. Dug out, cleaned, and removed debris. Replaced cap and female adaptor. Saved us thousands of dollars as the first plumber recommended replacing our cracked pipeline. We highly recommend their service.

Well, I was hoping I wouldn't be writing another review quite this soon, but alas, my 1950s home had another plumbing problem, this time a blocked line into my home. Ian and Joel came to the rescue, and once again, I experienced nothing but professionalism and great service. Ian did a great job explaining the issue to me, and did his best to make it as cost efficient as possible. This company deserves every star there is; they set a great example.

Exceptional service from dispatch to problem resolution! Over the years, I've used several well-known plumbing companies in the Central Florida area for everything from a small leak to full re-pipe of the house. Hands down, Emerald provides the best service at a very reasonable price. Today, Joel came out to clear my home's main drain pipe. He was friendly, professional, and wasted no time getting the issue resolved. I would call them again, without hesitation!

This review is based on my recent experience. I would give this company a zero if I could. My water softener was installed by Brian, who apparently is a supervisor. This is the most inefficient supervisors I have ever meet. When ask to estimate the price he gave me a day rate instead of a the whole job. Why would I ask for a day rate?  when explained to Brian as well as other officials that the information provided was inconsistent they became rude and hostile without any room for negotiation. This company I would never recommend.

Called Emerald at 8:00 am because I had a faucet on the side of my house leaking.  Arranged for a plumber to come out the same day...  They called me 30 minutes before arriving.

I was met by Ed, who was very professional and got right to work.

The plumber had to break into the wall and re-solder on a new spigot.  After replacing the spigot, he patched the wall for me.  The entire job took less than 30 minutes.

The price was extremely reasonable.

I would highly recommend this company and I will use them again.

I recently purchased a home that needed to be re-piped, so we began looking for quotes.  Among the 4 prices we received, Emerald was easily the lowest (about half of the highest quote!).  I was a little wary to use the cheapest guy, but with all of the great reviews online, I decided to use them and I am really glad we did.  The work was done very quickly in about 3 hours and with minimal wall cuts.  From there, I just had to schedule a time with the drywall repair sub (included in Emerald's price) to complete the job.  The guys are very friendly, honest, and respectful of your home.  I will recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing work, especially repiping.

Such a great company and I'm so thankful to have found them. The plumber that came out was so nice and let me watch over his shoulder to learn about what he was doing. They were also able to come out right away which was a life saver!

I was cleaning some dishes when I heard water running somewhere else.  Imagine my surprise when I looked down to see it flowing out of the cabinet doors under my sink!!

We used Emerald the first time last month when we had a shower leak in our second bath and were very pleased. Today we sprung a pipe leak inside the house by our hose faucet. We called Emerald and they informed us they had a technician in the area who would come over as soon as he finished the other customer. Ken arrived in 90 minutes, went right to work and fixed our pipe. The repair included cutting the stucco which was done cleanly. Emerald is professional, knowledgable, and competitively priced. I will use them for all my future plumbing needs and not hesitate to recommend.

I had a water leak in my crawlspace that need urgent attention. I called Emerald Plumbing and they were able to send someone out on the same day. Kenny and Austin came out and had the leak fixed within a hour of arrival. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience. I'll be using Emerald in the future.

Had an amazing experience with Emerald Plumbing plumbing. Was facing an issue in my bathroom motor. It was making some weird noise when get started. Brian came within an hour and went off to look at the motor. Within I guess half an hour, he was done. No weird sound from the motor now. He was friendly, professional that he did it really quick. Thanks Brian for such great service! Gonna only use them again  100%.

After springing a leak in the foundation we elected to have our house repiped rather than start a cascade of repairs in our old copper plumbing. We interviewed five different plumbing companies; Emerald was the last.

They had the lowest quoted price of everyone we saw - from $200 to $1500 lower, and this without ever seeing what others had quoted, so there was no undercutting just to get the job. The repipe was scheduled for a couple days later, and went off without a hitch - only about six hours to complete the whole house. The price included all drywall repair that needed to be done to close the necessary access points they cut (not repair of the original damage from the leak, but we didn't expect that.)

Very professional, friendly, efficient and unbeatable price. The owner explained to me that he kept his prices low because he did not spend any money on advertising, but relied on word of mouth. I'd say it's working for him, judging by the positive reviews. Well done, Emerald. We're keeping you on file.

Emerald plumbing is an outstanding company with very high standards. I have dealt with other companies and the difference is like night and day. Armando was very professional and knew his stuff. We had a problem with our toilet and Armando knew what it was before he even touched the toilet. Very pleased.

I will definitely use them again! They were polite, professional, and reasonably priced. I've used other plumbers in the past who've charged astronomical rates for mediocre service. This company is completely different. Use them!

I would easily give these guys 6 stars if I could. Ken was at my house at the scheduled time, was polite, and easy to work with. As a woman, it is always nerve racking to deal with condescending tradesmen. This was not the case with Emerald. I called around to other plumbers and literally got the run around. Don't waste your time, call them first.

This company is fantastic. I called on a Monday morning for backed up plumbing and they had someone come out within 45 minutes! Ken was great and so quick to identify the problem and fix it. Probably the best experience with a plumbing company that I have had. I would definitely recommend them.
