Reached out to Hank and received a quick response with 2 different quotes, depending on if a certain part needed to be replaced. Had a toilet leaking and an under counter light that needed to be replaced.
Hank was on time for appointment. He worked neat and fast and told me toilet did not need the additional part so the quote was the lower of the 2. He cleaned up the work area after. The light replacement was a quick job.

Communication-Competence-Character-those are the big 3 we are always looking for in a service professional and Handy Hank nailed all 3-here's how:
1) Communication-Hank responded to our service request from the very beginning and continued to text and call us throughout. He took pictures and video and even Face Timed us from the property to show his work!
2) Competence-Hank immediately fixed the numerous items we needed fixed and went above and beyond to do any unexpected extra things that he saw that needed to be fixed!
3) Character-Hank was very patient with us throughout and did his work with excellence and integrity. He even used his contractor's discount at a certain home improvement store to save us some money and we believe he charged us a very fair market price for all the services that he provided.

Hank was very easy to work with. When I reached out to him on phone he responded quickly and scheduled a site visit to inspect and provide an estimate. He explained all available options and provided us with a reasonable quote.
Hank was on time on the day of work and he was very professional and easy to work with. Hank provided us with an itemized receipt from Home Depot for the items he purchased for the work he did. His work was quick and clean and I am very happy for the work performed today. I will surely use his service in future and refer to my friends.

I had a light that wasn't working , it was too old to find, he actually bought 2 different lights and took parts out of one and put it in the other to make it function properly.
He is great with any project, I used him for plumbing, electrical, appliance installation, and a slew of handyman jobs that were all necessary to close escrow on my home.
On top of that, he is quick, I was always amazed at how much work he can do a day.

Hank provided a variety of services today and I am so impressed with his work. Hank installed a ceiling fan in my daughters room where there were no connections/wires to install the new ceiling fan to. Hank was very neat, he protected my daughters bedding and the rest of her furniture as he worked in her room. Hank also installed a light fixture in my dining room. The previous fixture was 2-3 feet away from the center of the dining table. Hank was able to install the new fixture directly above my dining table. He even patched and textured the old hole where the previous light fixture was installed. He even picked up new recess lights from Home Depot and replaced my outdated lights in the kitchen. Hank was very professional, kind, considerate and so much more. I will definitely reach out to Handy Hank in the future.

Hank is an excellent plumber and electrician, as well as general handy work. He knows his stuff and is meticulous in his work. You will find cheaper handymen, but if your job is tricky, you should consider Hank. He does excellent work.
Note that we used him to:
Swap out sconces and add a chandelier in our bathroom;
Hang the mirrors on porcelain tiles;
Install a new toilet;
Install shower hardware;
Fan/lighting in the shower
Would I use him again? Absolutely!
I am so happy that I found Handy Hank on Yelp! I give him a high recommendation and would definitely hire him again. He gave me very reasonable quote after looking over my list of things that I needed fixed and was able to complete my entire list and more so quickly! He even helped me with extra things without adding to his quote.
Hank was able to easily solve an electrical problem that was left from another person's previous attempt to fix. He had all the tools and supplies needed, so clean and considerate of my home.

Called Hank for a ceiling fan that had fallen after being improperly installed. He came out day of, found the problem and fixed it quickly. I am certain it is well installed now and have a trusted handyman to reach out to in the future.

Hank was awesome! He showed up 10 minutes early, and did the job with care and precision and detail. His work exceeded my expectations! He hung 4 pieces of artwork, a curtain rod, and moved a ceiling fan all within a couple hours. He also fixed my 2 front gates that didn't close properly without my asking & at no charge! I'd highly recommend!

It was a coincidence that I met Hank last year when the electrical problem and plumbing damage came up during my kitchen remodeling. My Contractor called him in and both problems were fixed right on the spot. Then, I had him hooked up all my appliances, replaced all switches in my house and meter boxes. Recently, I had leaks in garage from my bathroom. These were not easy to determine since they are not the leaks from the pipes. It was tricky to find the leak behind the tub backflow cover and the broken inner part of the toilet. Thank you, Hank, and be prepared for more work when I am ready to finish all my bathrooms upgrades :)
I would definitely recommend Hank because he is knowledgeable, reliable, he does quality and efficient work.

I had an issue with kitchen plumbing during a weekend and Hank came right away. When he entered, he put on his shoes cover on without me even asking. We contacted Hank via Yelp and he replied immediately. He gave a reasonable quote and was able to come the next day. We had just moved into a rental house and had several small projects - installing a dryer in a tiny laundry room, installing a new doorbell, clearing clogged drains, fixing window screens.
Hank communicated very clearly and did excellent work. He explained what needed to be done and how much the supplies could cost. He bought all the supplies at the hardware store and gave us the receipt. I felt very confident that he could do the work that we needed and that we were paying a fair price. We'll definitely hire Hank again!
Hank did it again!
Wolf Subzero dispenser control panel replacement and diagnose water piping issues. He was able to fix the piping issue and opening up as small portion of the wall and fix everything. Perfectly done!
Hank is the best! He not only came on time and did everything I needed to be done, but he also fixed the few other things I noticed that were bothering me. He has a great attitude, is very professional, and his caulking skills are second to none. He really cares about his customers and he is a great handyman.
I met Hank through our fabulous realtor, Cora Berkery, when we had put our home on the market and needed some repairs done. We were astonished at how much he got done in one day and what an exceptional job he had done for us. He is very professional, knowledgeable, clean, and gets the job done the right way the first time.
When we moved into our new home, we had so many things to be done. Hank was right there helping us with so many things, from recommendations, plumbing, electrical, hanging my chandeliers, you name it, he does it and gets it done professionally. He was a civil engineer so he knows what he is doing.
Not only is Hank an amazing worker but he is also a very honest, caring, and trustworthy man, one who I would never hesitate to recommend to anyone in need of someone who needs work done.
Hank was great! I needed to get a bunch of stuff done which would have taken me .. well it's been over a year and I hadn't gotten them done. Anyways, I contacted Hank via yelp and later talked on the phone with him. He arrived on time and was extremely professional. He upgraded 12 outlets, added a new outlet, put up a curtain rod, frosted a window, upgraded 1 light switch, put up a few shelves & installed a google nest.
He is very efficient and fast, knocked out the job in no time! I'll be hiring him again for more projects and definitely recommend him!

Hank was great. I needed a toilet installed and he did it quickly and was also able to recommend a better wax ring which was extremely helpful. He was also kind enough to not charge for the sealant for the toilet since I didn't have any.
While he was there I asked if he could check an electrical outlet and he kindly checked it out and fixed a loose wire, no charge!!
I highly recommend Hank for any plumbing or electrical things you need!

Update to my previous review; Hank and I did connect and I highly recommend him! He is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, works fast and his charges are reasonable. He replaced the kitchen faucet, toilet seat, anchored large furniture in case of a major earthquake, and completed other tasks as requested. He is also prompt, honest, and keeps to his estimated quote. Pertaining to my previous review, he does his best to return all calls/texts in a timely manner. He also does excellent quality work!
I contacted Hank after reading the positive reviews on Yelp, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the high quality of work, professionalism, and reliability he showed during the entire process from start to finish. I needed to get multiple things fixed and after looking over my list, he was very honest and clear in his communication with his quote and explaining the different options the job would entail to prevent any unexpected surprises for me.
He arrived on time and worked tirelessly to repair 2 leaky toilets (one being a complicated challenge), replace 6 lightbulbs in the ceiling, install 3 new faucets, caulk my shower, and fix 2 towel racks - all this in one day without taking any breaks. He made sure to constantly update me on every issue in detail every step of the way, and to put me at ease through it all. You could tell he was super knowledgeable, a great problem-solver, and dedicated to his craft. I have worked with quite a few contractors and handymen recently, I called Hank for electric work at my house and I was truly pleased by the customer service, responsiveness and the care he took to complete a few of our tasks including fan replacement, new light connection installation, new lights and replacement lights.

Hank was a great help to me and my wife. We'd just purchased a home and have some work to do on it, and he helped us with rewiring the coaxial ports upstairs, as well as install a bathroom fan and garbage disposal. He also helped us move a chandelier.
I appreciated that he took the time to explain what he was doing every step of the way, and he always made sure that what he was doing matched what we wanted.

Hank helped us with weather proofing our doors to prevent drafts from coming in. He also helped with relocating a cabinet that was installed too low in our office. He was on time, super friendly, and did quality work. Highly recommend!
I first called Hank to come replace two light switches at 4 pm Wednesday 9/14, Hank told me he could walk me through such a simple task so he wouldn't need to charge me; which I replied I had been trying to do for 3 hours and I would still like him to come out. Hank was at my home by 4:30 pm. I also asked him if he could caulk my shower, which he said was a longer job and he could come back another time, since he was working since 6 am. While he was at my home, I showed him a bubble in ceiling above Washer/Dryer, he assessed the leak was from upstairs toilet and said he could come back out Thursday 9/22. Today he came to my home fixed the leak from the upstairs toilet. Hank is very honest and explains what the problem could be and the costs to fix.

I had Hank replace some broken bathroom exhaust fans and some not up to code electrical wiring done by my previous contractor. Hank not only did great work with very reasonable prices but also cleaned up thoroughly after the repairs. Oh, did I mention he was so patient that he explained everything he was doing in great detail? I'm an engineer myself and I learned quite a bit of things from him!
Hank responded to my text timely and came by to give us a quote. He was able to install 3 electrical outlets on the spot. He is very knowledgeable, helpful and a nice guy. Great service and reasonable prices. Highly recommend Hank!

Honest, friendly, professional and reliable. We needed a ceiling fan replacement, two window screens, and four electrical outlets and Hank got it all finished in the time he said he would be here. This man is like an angel! I called him on a Friday to hang pendant lights above my kitchen island. Not only did he come and give me an estimate the same day, he was able to squeeze me in that day and complete the work. His price was fair, work precise and professional, but also a heart of gold. Handy Hank was wonderful. The problems with our wiring went way beyond what was originally expected and he expertly diagnosed and fixed the problem. The best part was how he walked me through each step and clearly explained it.
I strongly recommend him and plan to use him again.
Handy Hank was really nice and helped us very fast! His work is sturdy and reliable. He has the kindest heart and I would really recommend him to fix anything in any house.
Hank was great, replied quickly and was able to come over the next day to provide a quote. The price was great for adding 4 recessed lights and some power outlets. I called Hank just now to see if he could come check out a toilet leak because I am clueless with it and he walked me through how to fix the leak and was so nice and quick. We were off to a good start when Hank replied so quickly to my question on a quote. I have no patience at all so I appreciated that lol. Hank was very easy to communicate with. I wanted a flood light with security camera to be installed above our garage door with no existing wiring. I decided to hire him, he came the next day and was very nice and I was able to walk him around the house to get quotes on other possible projects. Before he began installing the flood light he gave us several options on how the wiring would be done, when he was finished it looked great and worked perfectly. He was great at cleaning up after himself as well. I was so pleased that I will be calling him back for more work.
I never hired a handyman before, and I had some apprehension about hiring one now for a plumbing job. However, after reading about Hank's background information, looking at his reviews and talking with him for a few minutes, I decided to go with Hank. I wouldn't be disappointed. Hank did a fantastic job and went way above and beyond to finish the job. He was able to anticipate and solve any problem he encountered while working on my sink and faucet. The job turned out perfect and at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Hank and will be using him again in the future.
We had a few unfinished projects and broken items, including a leaking toilet. Hank came on time and was very responsive. He repaired the toilet, leaking pipe under the sink, installed our new vanity and fixtures, fixed the fireplace and painted the front door, all in a day. He's a pleasure to work with. I'm so glad that I found Hank! He helped me get my rental property in shape. Hank knows what he is doing and gets it done quickly and efficiently. He tackled some complicated projects for me recently and I am very happy with the outcome. I've used Hank twice and will be calling him again. I highly recommend Hank.
We were looking to add shelves to our closet and Hank was responsive, punctual and finished the job to our satisfaction. He made sure it was made to our liking. The entire project took a few hours and was hassle free.
My project was to replaces my outdoor lights with LED LIGHTS, plus one motion light, he gave me a quote ,it supposed to be for all project as I asked him from the beginning, but unfortunately in the end of the work and after he finished ,he said the code was only for his labor . I was so shocked, so there's no honesty with his price estimation, please double check before you agree with him to do your project.
My refrigerator stopped working and my 1st response was to call the refrigerator guy so I made an appointment almost 24 hours later not knowing my problem was bigger! I realized I had a whole wall of electrical outlets not working! ... I called 4 electricians HANK answered my call on a Sunday evening late I told him what happened Over the phone he said he couldn't make any promises but he would come look and I was praying. He came out and diagnosed the issue in 20 minutes. There was 2 electrical wires touching and it didn't even cause the breaker to switch off. This was scary to know...Hank was able to fix 4 electrical outlets because he was prepared with the items to be replaced in his vehicle!! We are super blessed to have gotten this amazing electrician.
