If you need a guy, he's your guy. Communicative, shows up at the time he says he's going to shows up, and charges reasonable rates for honest work.

I used his services when I first moved into my home, he installed some can lights in the living room and master bedroom, along with ceiling fan rated boxes in the bedrooms. Work was done quickly and everything works great.

I also just recently used his services to replace a loose outlet that was operating questionably, along with tracking down an issue with an outside light. Again, he showed up right at the time he said he would, and solved my issues quickly.

Chris did a great job installing my Tesla Wall Charger for my Model 3. From the first interactions he was always friendly, straightforward and easy to work with. He promised to come take a look and give me quote and he was exactly on time.

Owner, Chris Lange, helped me with a Mini-Split AC installation that included installing a new 240V circuit, cleaned up a messy main electrical panel, helped me get my electrical meter mounted inspected and mounted by the City and SDGE, and installed a Neurio Home Energy Monitoring Device.  Chris was exceptional to work with.  I highly recommend him.

Update June 2017:  Chris installed a 1024W grid tied collar system in my house.  He upgraded my existing electrical panel, installed the solar kit rails, panels, micro inverters, all new grounding, switches and wiring.  He also applied for the permits and followed through with the inspections.  Top notch work.  Chris is super reliable and does amazing work.  Thoughtful and precise in his work.  Save yourself thousands by purchasing the solar system components and have a Chris permit and install everything for you.

Needed electricity run for a new Jacuzzi.  Chris came out and reviewed the different ways to run power.  He then gave me a detailed estimate of the work.  He arrived on time and was extremely courteous.  He even fixed a couple of things around the house for no additional cost.  I would highly recommend Chris.

The City was undergrounding the electricity in my neighborhood and I needed my new main meter service panel connected.  Chris was very prompt, professional, and informative on the scope and bid of my job. Chris resolved a dangerous electrical problem on my house by replacing the service conductors that were failing, along with running a new ground conductor.  The original conductors had degraded so badly that lights in the house were flickering, and when it was raining, the wires were generating sparks where they entered the house!  

He provided a fast quote after evaluating the problem, got a permit in place with the city (negotiated a reduced permit fee due to the nature of the work), and stayed on top of SDG&E to coordinate with their technicians to get the job done.  Final invoice was just as quoted.

I'll definitely call him first next time I have a problem.

I'm a retired construction superintendent and was an electrician for many years. I met Chris on a job site several years ago when he was a foreman on a large commercial project. After some health issues I needed to hire an electrician and I was delighted to hear that Chris started his own electrical company and hired him for our home remodel.

I have been using Chris Lange for several years and would not go through any one else. He is extremely detail oriented and thorough. I hired Lang Electric to do a job for me that I needed to add  sub panel and also had him add some outdoor electrical outlets on the outside of my house, he wrote up and estimate on how much it would cost me I did my research on other electricians and what it would cost me to do the work and I can say me Lang the Owner of the company him self worked with me with fair pricing and if I need more work done I would hire his services again no doubt about that , very clean install and very knowledgeable about rules and regulations what can be done and what can't be so if your looking for some one who is trust worthy and professional I would tell you to hire him for any electrical needs.
