To have Eric, the owner of the business, visit us today was great. He fixed my bathroom light fixture. He even put in his own LED lights and explained to us how to save money on them. I liked how he spent time with us explaining what he did and took the time talking to us. I will definitely call on him again! Elite Electric came recommended by my favorite rebuilding contractor, but I didn't realize how could they could be.  Prompt responses to phone messages, good email access while negotiating.  And a reasonable proposal: time and materials at a rate that was not exorbitant.
And the best part is that the quality of their work is extraordinary: full recommendations on how to meet code, suggestions for better equipment, and then an aesthetic touch to the work that was exceptional.  Didn't think an electrician can be aesthetic?  It's what separates the cheap and clueless from the best of the lot.

I recently experienced a significant power issue and contacted Steven at SFX to see if they could come to my residence that morning.  He was already engaged and could not respond, BUT he proceeded to stay on the phone and assist me in trouble-shooting the problem.  He talked me through numerous steps as we investigated the problem.  Ultimately, I had to contact another electrician who was available to respond, but the attention and concern for my family's welfare, as well as the amount of time he spent with me, went beyond simple politeness.  So, even though SFX has not done an actual electrical job for me, I give them a high rating based on the customer service, professionalism, and concern shown by Steven, and will happily hire them if required.

Greg with GT electric came out to install new light fixtures throughout the house and put in new outlets on our outdoor patio. His work was high quality, efficient and he was very fairly priced. We will definitely call him back out for any future electrical work.

SRP are the best electricians in San Diego! Called many electricians that kept giving me the run around. This was an extremely stressful and sensitive situation that needed immediate attention. The lights and wifi were going out in the house while the kids were home alone with babysitter and in their distant learning. SRP answered immediately and made me feel at ease as they listened to my urgent concerns. They were extremely knowledgeable and identified the issue over the phone! They came out the same day and sure enough, it was exactly the issue they stated. The main breaker and panel were completely burnt out. Technician was very nice, professional and made it simple for me to understand what my options were to fix it. I see why they specialize in older homes as they are more complex to work with... they were able to rebuild my current box with direct modern parts while other electricians wanted to replace the whole box. Eric did an outstanding job. He fixed my GFI problem, used my purchased switch, plus he did some checking of the entire circuit. We found a problem which we fixed.

Service Pro was prompt in responding to my interest and was out the next day. Eric showed up time, he was pleasant and helpful.

This company is sneaky, greedy and unprofessional - especially Larry and Joe. They are just not good people or right in the head. I would not even recommend them to my worst enemy. There are better, more reliable companies to seek out.

I placed a query on HomeAdvisor for an electrician to take take care of some lighting I would need installed on the exterior of my home.  One of the companies that called me was Electrician For Hire.  John was the guy's name.  He called me at 8 on a Saturday evening and we talked about the project that I needed done.  10-15 minutes later, John said he would have a guy out to the house the latest they can on Friday at 4pm in order to take a look and come up with a quote.  He said they stop work at 4:30.  No problem.

Fast forward to Friday.  At 4:10pm no one had shown up so I called John to ask about his technician.  He said they weren't supposed to be there until 5pm tonight.  He said it was in his notes.  However, in the Saturday discussion he told me his guys don't work past 4:30 and he asked me if his guy could be at the house at 4.  I was good with 4 because I was leaving town at 5.  I let it go for the moment as he said he would get someone out to the house now.  His technician calls and says he'll be happy to come out tomorrow (Saturday) in order to look over the project and deliver a quote.  I explained to the technician that this was outside the terms of agreement from John.  I told the technician to disregard and that I would contact John to cancel.

I sent a text message to John stating that I was disenchanted with the fact that his technician didn't even know about it until moments earlier, which means I was forgotten about, anyway.  I let him know that I will be looking for a new and more reliable electrician to handle my project.  John's response:  You Go Girl.  When I called to accost him of the disrespect, he stated, Look, I am making light of the situation.  Don't be weird about it.

Can John do the work? I don't know.  He can talk the talk, though, and make you feel like he's got your project covered.  Myself, I do not give my business to those who lie, forget, change times, or flat out disrespect.

My suggestion to those needing an electrician in my area, find a more reputable one.  Leave the kids out of your home projects.
