Frank and his crew did a great job for us, they replaced the main panel and also took on a complex rewire and changing electric components of a spa. That ended up being a big project requiring contact with the manufacturers as all components had to be replaced with new ones that didn't match the originals. Frank went above and beyond what was required of him and did a thorough and professional job on all the work and his price was very reasonable. Frank is a very good person to work with and we will be using him for any future projects.

I hired Frank and his team to install a Tesla wall charger in my garage.  He was incredibly knowledgable and took the time to explain the steps that needed to be done.  I sent him some photos and he stopped by to look at the job in person.  His team came on time, worked expeditiously, and left with professional marks.  Anyone who needs an EV charger installed, Frank is your guy!

Had promised to service my generator in mid-December 2022 but they never showed up and never called, obviously unreliable.  I needed the generator to work for medical reasons, and I had purchased the generator from them, and they failed me.

Frank reached out to me directly after seeing my recent review. We had a great conversation and he made it right on the pricing transparency. He included a thoughtful handwritten note as well.

As I said before, Frank is a very nice guy and local businesses deserve our support. I am a firm believer in second chances and will hire Adrian Electric for future electric work.

Texted Adrian for a quote. He replied that evening asking for additional info, pics, and my availability. I replied with all the details and never heard from him again.

Frank came out to do an inspection of a generator transfer switch we had installed by another contractor.  We had problems with the other contractor who installed the generator transfer switch, and another company we use for non-generator electric work (Kinetic Energy... they are great, but don't do generators!) referred us to Frank. Frank checked the work, which fortunately was solid, and helped me understand how to use the transfer switch. Frank was outstanding. He really knew his stuff and I wish we had gone with him in the first place (we went with the unnamed other contractor because they were in our town). He spent a good 45 minutes with me and never charged me!  I strongly recommend him.

I needed an electrician on a weekend, so I searched online for one.  The high reviews of Adrian Electric are the reason I called them and I was not at all disappointed.  Frank Adrian answered the phone immediately on a Sunday morning, arrived at my home exactly when he said he would (about 15 minutes after I called), fixed the problem quickly and gave me a thorough and clear explanation.  He did not overcharge me at all and, in fact, charged me less than I expected to have to pay.  He was professional, courteous, highly competent and very honest.  I highly recommend Adrian Electric and I will definitely be using his services again.

Frank at Adrian Electric was fantastic to work with. He installed a ceiling port and fan and multiple can lights in my home. The lighting made a huge difference turning my home from a dark cave into a livable space. Very polite and professional. Spent a lot of time walking me through what needed to be done and helping to map things out to ensure I was happy with the end product. He even sent his crew back to adjust the light brightness after I contacted him. Great business and I would highly recommend working with Frank and his crew.

I called Frank on a Sunday and he was here Monday morning to fix my electrical issues. Great communication and great price.  I would highly recommend if you need an electrician.

I was referred to Frank by someone who's a general contractor so I expected a certain level of professionalism and responsiveness. He was quick to respond and come to see what we needed to have done around the house. He had to do some research on one item and promised he would get back to us within a few days with a quote. I called my GC contact and thanked him. Unfortunately, I counted my chickens before they hatched.

We have no major projects so we weren't requiring immediate attention but over the course of 1.5 months, I left several messages (whenever his VM wasn't full) and texts with no response. Just when I was about to give up, I gave him one last call and he picked up. He was apologetic and said he'd get back to me in a few days....that was over a month ago.

I called on a Monday and left a message for Frank, 48 hours later I have not heard back from anyone.

Frank from Adrian Electric is so easy to work with.  He was quick to respond, listened to my needs, and was very easy to schedule the job.  He is professional and considerate, and the job was done to perfection.  I like to use local if possible, and this should be your local electrical contractor!

We had the good fortune to select Frank to do a very time-sensitive replacement of two circuit-breaker panels, prior to the sale of our son's condo.  The breaker boxes needed to be replaced quickly since they were identified as a potential problem by the buyer's inspector, and the closing depended upon replacement by a qualified electrician.  We found Frank to be polite, patient (he took the time to explain options, the process he would follow,and answer miscellaneous questions regarding the functioning of the boxes) and competent.  He completed the job as described, accurately, on time, and at a fair price.  We will use Frank for any future electrical issues, and highly recommend him.

In the early morning hours my riser pole was ripped from the side of our house by a tree falling into the utility pole. After discussing with ComEd I was instructed to start calling electricians.  So, I left a message for Frank at probably 3am. He called me back around 8am and quoted me an excellent price.  

Frank and Franck showed up right on time and got to work. They were both courteous, kind, and efficient.  On top of that their time estimate for the work was right on the money.

I would highly recommend Adrian Electric for all your emergency and non emergency needs.  I feel very lucky that not only were they available,  but that they gave us a fair price and did such outstanding work.  

Additionally,  Frank was able to give us information about our breaker boxes and the size generator we should invest in.  His knowledge and candor have cemented him as our go to guy for all our future electrical needs.

I will always call Adrian Electric for any electrical work from now on! Frank promptly answered my call after a newly installed light fixture blew a fuse in our home. He kindly made it out the same day because the fuse was effecting half my home and not only fixed the issue, but explained what had happened. Frank was very friendly and personable, but most importantly professional.
Every interaction I had with Frank prior to, during, and after the work he completed was even greater quality than I could have hoped for.

We had a very strange power outage where only half the house lost power. Even though it was 10 pm he called us back and came the next morning. I think I'm going to make Frank my new best friend. He reminded me of why customer service is important because that's his main concern. I've already sent his card to two people and if anyone needs a trustworthy electrician who cares about his customers then frank is the guy to call.  

And it turned out that it was outside the house and it's something that ComEd needs to fix. We almost went with the ad on Google but I chose Frank because he was local and I am so glad I did.

Good contractors who know what they're doing AND who actually call you back are a rarity these days. I talk to friends and neighbors and they too seem to have the same problem: getting a decent contractor to call you back! I called three electricians before finding and calling Adrian Electric. One electrician I phoned never returned my call or text, one was too busy and wouldn't be able to help me until a much later date, and one called me back days later after I had already coordinated with Frank. I explain all of this because Frank too was busy that week, but he managed to not only call me back within an hour, but he was able to schedule the work within the same week, as I requested!

I called Frank on a Monday morning to explain what I needed. He asked me to text a photo the area where we needed work completed, and said he would get back to me about a date & time. The next day, Tuesday he called with an estimate, and said he could schedule Rick to come out that Thursday to do the work. On Thursday Frank texted me in the morning, gave an ETA for Rick, and then later that afternoon Rick contacted me and said he was able to make it an hour earlier. Wow! Another rarity!!!

Rick was very professional and got the work done in a timely manner. My husband and I were anticipating a little more damage to wall where they put an outlet, but only two small drill holes to spackle. Another thing I loved, they left things neat AND left all of the lighting/fan packaging for me to deal with/recycle. In the past when I've used previous electricians (or other contractors for that matter) they would throw out packaging along with accessories like ceiling fan pull chains or finials, along with the old item that was being replaced. I much prefer to make the choice myself if I want these items or if if I prefer to donate, recycle or throw them away.

My husband and I were very happy with Adrian Electric. Frank communicated in a timely manner, set expectations and charged what we felt to be fair pricing. If only these guys were general contractors, I could get so much more completed in my home! I'm already putting together a list of my next electrical projects for Adrian Electric. Thank you Frank and Rick!!!

Frank is a lifesaver! In the storms over the summer a tree branch knocked down our power line and tore the connection out of the back of our house. We were without power for 4 days waiting on COMED and a different electrician. When I called Frank for help he dropped everything and came over and got everything sorted out within hours. A+ service, pricing and all around people. Will never use a different electrician again!

This guy should not be in business!  I'm not sure who the other reviewers did business with, but it couldn't have been Frank!  He made lots of promises but never did what he said.  He never did finish the job after 6 months.  Made the mistAke of paying him before completion.  Simple job of installing low voltage lighting in the front yard, and a lamp post.  He would do a little work at a time and say he would be back the next day but wouldn't show up.  Had to call him over and over, and listen to him lie. I finally gave up! Too much aggravation! He never did what he said, and finally had to call someone else to complete the work.

I contacted Frank Adrian when the underground electrical line my store (MOORE Toys & Gadgets) failed.  He helped navigate ComEd and talked through the options (replace underground line or go overhead to the pole.)  He even gave me the name of a competitor to determine if splicing the fault was the most economical thing to do.  Even when I contemplated the splice repair with his competitor, he was thoughtful, professional and helpful.  I decided the best course of action was to replace the underground line and Adrian Electric did the work (along with Russ, a directional borer.)  My power was fully restored today, and I will absolutely recommend Adrian Electric, and will go to them for my future electrical needs both at my store and at my home.  Thank you Frank!

We used Frank, with Adrian Electric, to install three ceiling fans in our bedrooms. When he first came over to quote us he asked to see the fans we purchased and informed us that they probably wouldn't give off enough light for a bedroom due to the glass fixture. We ended up taking his advice and exchanged them for different fans and I'm very glad we did.

Overall I can't say enough great things about Frank... he has competitive pricing, showed up on time, explained everything to me, cleaned up all of the rooms to ensure they were dust free and most importantly our fans/lights look great. My dog has a LOUD hound bark on him and generally jumps up on people when they first arrive. Frank didn't seem to mind at all and was buddies with him by the end of the day!

We're new homeowners with a list of electrical work that we'll eventually need done and Frank will definitely get our business.

If I could give Frank more stars, I would give him 100!!! He's definitely earned them. Frank and his company have helped me with MANY projects and the outcome is always professionally done and I'm always updated for every step of the way. His pricing is more than fair and he is always responsive, which is number 1 in importance for me!!!  An all around great guy and a pleasure to do business with, you cannot go wrong with Adrian Electric!

Adrian saved us on one of the coldest winter days!  The issue ended up being caused by ComEd. He directly contacted someone there when we couldn't get anywhere with automated operators.  The best part is that he did this free of charge.  We'll definitely call him next time we have an electrical issue.

Our Main House Breaker Went Defective During The First Quarter Of The Super Bowl And We Lost All Electric In Home.  Called Adrian Electric From Their 24 Hour Online Ad & Frank Responded Immediately. After Our Initial Phone Conversation,  Frank Said He Would Have Someone At My Home Within The Hour.  20 Minutes Later, One Of His Electricians John Was At Our Home With The Correct Breaker. Although John Had Been Interrupted At A Super Bowl Party, He Was Very Patient, Thorough & Friendly Going Threw Every Breaker To Make Sure There Were No Other Issues With Our Electrical Panel. Our Electric Was Back Up & Running By The Fourth Quarter! Last, The Emergency Appointment Was Very Reasonable With The Price On The Phone Being The Price Paid With Receipts For The Breaker Being Showed To Us. I Would Highly Recommend Frank Adrian & John For All Electrical Work & Have Put Adrian Electric On My Preferred Contractor List At My Real Estate Office In Downers Grove.

I Called Adrian Electric along with a few other Electricians seeking some ball park quotes for replacing my electrical box due to some electrical 'gremlins' I was experiencing with my recently purchased home, and of those who I called, Frank with Adrian Electric offered to come out same day to take a look at the issues I was experiencing, and took the time to explain things to me while observing the issue I was having which was hugely appreciated.

After we had made an initial attempt at a repair it was confirmed that my current box was past repair (again, explained and shown in such a way that I fully understood) and I opted for a complete box replacement.

He kept in touch the entire way of this repair, and definitely takes pride in his work.

I consider myself VERY handy, so it was challenging to have someone else tackle a job that was outside of my own skill set. That being said, Adrian Electric is definitely my Go-To for Electrical work, and I plan on recommending them to friends and family in need of an electrician as well.

His pricing was competitive, and he was able to meet my pretty immediate time frame which was a big relief. If you are looking for an Honest electrician, look no further.

Frank is incredibly accommodating, kind and helpful. He has done so many projects for us and his rates were  always considerably better than anyone else. Frank is one of the most trustworthy people I know and a real gem to have in your home. I can not recommend Frank highly enough.

I contacted Adrian Electric to put in two ceiling fan lights and put new light in closet.  John did the work and we found him highly competent.  He knew what was needed as far as hooking up the light, fan, dimmer, etc. The fans and light look great.  Frank and John were very personable and made sure everything was done correctly.  Would definitely call on them again, if needed.

Called at a late hour and the company was extremely helpful over the phone and got my problem solved for free! It doesn't get any better than that!

We used Frank for an assessment on a house we are planning to purchase after our home inspector pointed out some electrical issues. Frank is extremely professional and considerate of your time and money. He understands realty and the difference between what SHOULD be asked for and what COULD be asked for. When we move in, I will be using Frank to fix some of the things that he brought to our attention and have no doubt that he will do a professional job.

He came out to our house early in the week to give us an estimate.  Subsequently, he agreed to do the work on Friday the same week.  We gave him a 6 hour window on Friday.  He said he would text us to let us know when he will show up.  He never showed up for the job, no calls to let us know he will not be coming and no apologies later.  We tried calling  him and his voice mail was full.  The next day we called and left message and our calls are not returned.  Why come out and give an estimate and then behave in this way?  He is extremely unprofessional and unreliable.

I was hoping to employ Adrian electric for some repairs in my home in Wheaton. I like the idea of contacting local businesses. However, I have tried twice to set up appointments with this company, and they have failed to follow through. I will not contact them again.

I had Frank Adrian out to my home to provide yearly maintenance on our Kohler Generator.  Frank is the real deal.  He is so soft spoken, friendly, kind and professional.  He explains everything he is doing as he goes along.  He doesn't try to sell you anything you don't need or want.  We used to have another company provide this maintenance and we trusted him. What a mistake that was.  When you spend that kind of money on a Generator you need to trust the person that does the install as well as the maintenance.  Well this person really lacked product knowledge as well as customer service. Countless times he was called out to the house because the unit wasn't operating or was dying out but he never knew how to fix it or remedy the problem just putting a Band-Aid on the issue. Eventually I had to have Steiner Electric come out and fix the issues that the first company could not do.  I asked Steiner to recommend someone else and Adrian Electric was at the top of their list. When Frank Adrian came out to the house I immediately felt at ease.  He found remnants of the last persons work the second he opened the Lid of the unit. The last person left a half full quart of oil sitting next to an area that really generates a lot of heat when in use, serious damage could have occurred had this melted or caught on fire Frank Adrian noticed this and removed it, in addition he found that the wrong size Oil Filter was used for the unit we have.  Needless to say Frank Adrian will be the one to perform my yearly maintenance on our generator as well as any other electrical needs.  If you're looking for a trustworthy Electrician for any kind of Electrical work or generator install or maintenance do yourself a favor and call Adrian Electric.  He's the best and you won't be disappointed.

Frank Adrian of Adrian Electric was a rare combination - honest, responsive, and reasonably priced.  Frank spent lots of extra time on a small (or so we thought) project.  Frank kept in touch while troubleshooting.  Even after fixing the issue, Frank stayed around to help me think through my other hot tub issues, even those these weren't electrical!  Frank was a pleasure to work with and we'll be using Adrian Electric for all our electrical needs.
