Arnold Electric has come to our rescue many times since moving into our new home earlier this year. They're always available within a few days (sometimes sooner), knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and do the job right! We're a part of their neighbors program which has helped us save some $$$ each visit. Even without the program they are priced fairly, I've never felt like I was being taken advantage of or overcharged.

I purchased a mirror from Wayfair and added on installation. No one  ever showed up. I was so upset and cancelled the installation with them. I reached out to Eligio, and he contacted me right away. Thankfully, he was able to come out the same day. He installed the mirror in such a short amount of time and was super professional. I highly recommend him!

We initially hired for a 200 amp panel upgrade and a fraying service cable repair. The quote was very thorough and informative (and very reasonable). Their work is excellent and we received our permit sign off without much issue at all.

We were impressed enough to have Gadertech back to install an outlet for some cabinet lighting and to upgrade our laundry room lighting. Again, very responsive, thorough and professional. Would highly recommend Gadertech for any project big or small.

I recently had an emergency situation and was able to reach these guys. At the time I would have let anybody help me but I'm glad they answered. It turns out the problem was minor and they were honest enough to tell me that. I appreciate the honesty and great service.

I found Mark back in 2007.  I called 10 electricians to come do some work at my 100 year old electrical nightmare of a house in Wheaton.  He was the only one that wasn't scared off by the spaghetti factory of wiring that has plagued the house over the years.  Little by little we have been slowly correcting and upgrading the house.  I also use him for my house as well as my other rental property in Glen Ellyn too.  Honest and easy to work with.

Eugene was prompt for the appointment, was very courteous and went to work right away.  He was careful not to track in any leaves or dirt.  The work was excellent and the cost was fair.

I used Pure Voltage to convert my electrical panel from fuses to circuit breakers, and to upgrade the electrical outlets in my home.  It was a big job, as it entailed relocating the electric meter and setting up new wiring.  They did an excellent and efficient job.  They were professional and personable, totally responsive to any concerns that I had. It was a pleasure to work with them and I would highly recommend their services.

Had some outlets that were out and one that needed to be fixed! They fixed everything in half an hour and very reasonable pricing! They even called me the next day that I first called to let me know someone canceled and they could come today! Compared to others this was a great price! They were on time and worked quickly! Will use them for remodel!!

I agree with the previous review. Don't be wary of this guy. Just don't do business with him. He also asked us for 60% in advance. OK, I wasn't born yesterday. Nobody asks for 60% in advance. I asked him why it was so high. He said he had to buy supplies. We were installing lighting that we purchased. So what are we talking about - some electrical boxes and some wire?
He was supposed to be at our house at 10am. He called at 9:45 and said that he had some calls that delayed him and that he'd be about 2 hours late. He showed up at 12:30. Then he said that the lights (that I purchased from a reputable lighting company) were no good and that he couldn't install them. I went out to Home Depot and purchased 3 lights for the front closet. He didn't even try to put those in. He just left and said to call him when I had lights for the other closets. Why didn't he even try to put the other light in?
I went out that night and purchased 3 other lights from the lighting company we had previously been to and called Dino to let him know that we had new lighting. We set up an appointment for 1pm on Friday. Dino texted me on Thursday night to confirm that we were still on for Friday. I told him that we were still on.
At 11:26 Dino texted me that he had an emergency panel upgrade and that he would be 2 hours late. 2 hours late seems to be standard for him. Now I am not one of those people who carry my phone with me everywhere I go so I was unable to respond immediately to Dino. By the time I responded to him, he said that he had already made other plans and that he couldn't be sitting around waiting for my reply. Oh, sitting around like I had done for 2 days waiting for him to show up?
He offered to come to the house at 8am the next day (Saturday). Although I was extremely leery at this point, I told him that he could come to the house and finish the job. I told him that I expected him at 8am and that this was his final chance to do the job.
He went ballistic (just as the previous reviewer said, this nut job has a temper) and told me to keep the job and get somebody else to do it. Then he told me that he was going to put a lien on the house for the work done. Then he said that he was going to call the village because I didn't get permits. Let's see, if I needed permits to put lights in, don't you think my licensed electrician should have told me that?
Stay far, far away from this lunatic.

I hired Advanced Area Serv Corp to do the complete wiring for my 900 Sq Ft Master Bedroom Suite Addition. They were totally awesome! They accommodated my schedule and arrived on time. They completed the work on time and diligently cleaned behind themselves. I was impressed with their professionalism and would highly recommend them to all my family and friends

UNBELIEVABLE!! They blew off my appointment and had the nerve to blame it on me!  I made an appointment, called the day before to confirm, and even asked them to call if they couldn't make it.  No call, no show.  They later posted a response to my review on Angie's List blaming me for poor planning.  Stay away!

This electrical service company has extremely poor customer service. I DO NOT recommend proceeding with them.

They're technician cancelled the appointment and no accommodation was made in the service fee charge for a rescheduled appointment.

Their company was able to inconvenience me so I was without air conditioning and did not believe any accommodation should be made.
