Excellent electricians!  Mike and Jeff really know their stuff.  They show up on time, provide an accurate estimate and do great work.  Highly recommend & I will use them again.

After a broken pipe led to wall removals in our 100+ yr old house, we discovered lots of unsafe electrical problems within our walls and ceilings. Arnold electrical was one of the few companies that actually called me back when we were looking for someone to fix everything. We were so impressed by their responsiveness, communication, and process in just giving us a quote, that we choose them to repair and replace everything. They ended up replacing our electrical panel, adding a sub panel to the garage, properly dug a trench and buried a conduit for our garage electric, installed an outdoor outlet, installed a light fixture in our stairwell, placed exposed wires in conduit,  and completely rewired our house. We worked with two different teams and two other individuals from Arnold throughout this whole process. John did our initial assessments. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and took his time listening to our concerns. Justin did our panel inspection, along with the city inspector. He was also very friendly and knowledgeable. Mary, the receptionist, was always friendly and responsive, and set up the city inspection and permit for the work. Jeff and his team did the rewiring and garage. They were always on time, did an initial vacuum clean up afterwards, cleaned up their mess everyday, and even brought treats for my dog on the last. Our only complaint is that we felt we were not adequately prepared for how many holes they had to make to do the rewire. Maybe they didn't know until they actually started? Despite that, we are very satisfied with their services. They were pricey, but prices seemed on par with other local companies. Their communication, promptness, that they actually showed up on time every time, and that they coordinated the city permit and inspection were well worth the money.

I had accidentally tiled over the spot on the electrical outlet where you attach one side of the cover on the kitchen backsplash. With my property sale inspection in a few days, I needed a handyman to fix my DIY blunder ASAP. Eligio was able to fix it quickly and the turnaround time from request to completion was less than 24 hours.  I recommend him and his business highly!

Nice young man who has expertise. Did a great job fixing our ceiling light and bath exhaust fan. Would recommend him highly. Was prompt and did excellent work.

I recently had an emergency situation and was able to reach these guys. At the time I would have let anybody help me but I'm glad they answered. It turns out the problem was minor and they were honest enough to tell me that. I appreciate the honesty and great service.

I found Mark back in 2007.  I called 10 electricians to come do some work at my 100 year old electrical nightmare of a house in Wheaton.  He was the only one that wasn't scared off by the spaghetti factory of wiring that has plagued the house over the years.  Little by little we have been slowly correcting and upgrading the house.  I also use him for my house as well as my other rental property in Glen Ellyn too.  Honest and easy to work with.

Eugene was great to work with.  He was very prompt in getting us a quote.  He thoroughly went through all of the steps of his work to make sure we were comfortable with what was being done.  He worked around our schedule and stayed into the evening to finish the job so he didn't have to re-mobilize the next day.  Can't recommend him enough.

The owner, Brian, of Aspire Electric has a really bad attitude, bad temper, tough to deal with.  I've dealt with many electricians, and this was one of the worst.  As one of the other reviewers mentioned, do not sign an open contract.  Have a specific price detailed out on what is and is not included, and any changes should be approved with a change request.

If a zero was possible, that is what I would give this contractor.  I hired him to install under cabinet lights.  He came out with an obviously untrained apprentice who did all of the work while he sat and barked out orders -- screaming at him much of the time.  At one point the apprentice was lost and did not know what to do.  Rather than helping him, he responded -- figure it out idiot and sat there staring at him.  Eventually, I started helping the apprentice myself.  He then billed me over a $1000.  Shortly after I received the bill, he called demanding payment.  I explained that I felt I was overbilled.  But, I agreed to pay him $700 that night if he would consider it payment in full.  He agreed, but has continued sending me invoices for allegedly past due amounts and has even filed a mechanics lien on my house.  Do not use this bully.

Dino was great to work with!! We needed a lot of work done at our church. Outside lights, ceiling fans, install a light in a closet and replace fluorescent lights with LED. His work was top notch. He even was nice enough to pick up the ceiling fans I ordered from Home Depot. I would not trust anyone else to do my electrical work.

I hired Advanced Area Serv Corp to do the complete wiring for my 900 Sq Ft Master Bedroom Suite Addition. They were totally awesome! They accommodated my schedule and arrived on time. They completed the work on time and diligently cleaned behind themselves. I was impressed with their professionalism and would highly recommend them to all my family and friends

They book appointments with 3 hour window of wasted time (2 times I booked in my case) and they simply don't show nor call to advise as to why. Receptionist is also only contact in office and she is clueless as to how to handle customers or bookings (bad attitude).  Read their Angie's List reviews too and you will see it is a recurring complaint.  Their excuse for this poor service is emergencies or unforeseen problems. Not sure even a brain surgeon has as many emergencies as they do where they can't even update waiting customers. There are no apologies only excuses and lies. It was so bad I forwarded their ridiculous lies in messages we exchanged on Angie's list, saved a voice mail from owner who receptionist claimed had come out special just for me.  His voice mail had no apology, said his jobs ran late (oh really cuz receptionist said u came out just for me), but do I still want him to come at 4:22pm...window was late morning til 2pm. Receptionist referred to me as a snob because I didn't guess the guy who called was the owner and he apologized in his voice mail (which is also a lie as he didn't say he was owner or sorry).  Anyway Angie's List is fully refunding my money for this special offer I prepaid for. I'm sure based on other reviews they won't be on Angie's for long. I have all the backup, including voice mail and sent it all to Angie's List...so no disputing any of this.

This electrical service company has extremely poor customer service. I DO NOT recommend proceeding with them.

They're technician cancelled the appointment and no accommodation was made in the service fee charge for a rescheduled appointment.

Their company was able to inconvenience me so I was without air conditioning and did not believe any accommodation should be made.
