We loved working with Optimum! They re-did our outdoor pathway lights in front of our house. Vaheh, the owner, and his team are courteous, professional, GREAT communication at every point, and gave us a very competitive price. We love the results and we loved having the guys at the house, they were a delight. Can't wait to hire them again!

I needed three light switches replaced and repaired in my condo and Zenith Electric was attentive to replying to my request, scheduling an appointment, and quickly repaired all three! Highly recommend, and will be calling them for any future electrical needs.

I sent several messages to different electricians on Yelp and Nathan was quick to reply and come out for an estimate the next day. Other electricians weren't available for weeks. He then had his team come two days later to do some major work (i.e. upgrade my electrical panel, change all my kitchen and bathroom outlets to code, change my ceiling lights to LED, add under cabinet lights, add sconce panels, and all the extra circuits required). He also dealt with the city inspector and his additional requests, which they fixed the same day each time. The team is very kind and respectful and I'm so happy with their work. Nathan is very professional yet funny, which kept my anxiety about my remodel at ease. Thank you so much Madison Electric!

Sergio from MH came out to my home and fixed a couple of outlets that had been causing problems . It was not a huge project, but he was very experienced and knowledgeable. He made sure to clear up any questions I had for future reference. Definitely recommend!

Yes! Local electricians that are responsive, conscientious, really good at their job, and care about the work they do. So good to have an electrician I can rely on in Venice.

A few days ago, at 10 AM,  the power in my condo suddenly went out -- and stayed out for the rest of the day.   I was the only one in my building complex without power, and SoCal Edison informed me that there were no outages in the area -- thus, the problem was internal.    I flipped my circuit sub-breakers several times, to no avail,    After a very brief restoration of power in the afternoon, the juice went out again, this time for the rest of the evening.    I was advised by an agent at Edison to try re-setting the main circuit breaker panel in my building, and after finally locating it, did so but again without success.     At that point I needed an electrician, and got a referral for Stuart at All-In-One Electric through my building management company (the only positive contribution made by them during this episode.)   At any rate, I called Stuart late that evening and set up an appointment for the following morning.  

Stuart called me early the next morning and said he'd come right over, to my great relief.   ( I could tell by our conversation the night before that he was a seasoned professional.   In fact, he later told me that he had been an electrician for 30 years.)     He arrived promptly and checked out the situation, both inside my apartment, and then down in the electrical room.   After the requisite testing and inspection, he found the problem quickly.   A part was needed (turns out one of the circuits had burned up), so he ran out briefly to purchase the part and then rectified the problem.   His knowledge and efficiency were evident in his orderly handling of the situation.    I was very pleased with his professional service and manner, and at the completion of the job, with my power fully restored and my house left neat, all I could think was what a difference a day makes.  

I offered to pay him at the completion of the job, but he said he would bill me.   The bill arrived in my email today, and was very reasonable.    Billing was set up so that I could pay online, which I did immediately, and was pleased by that convenience as well.    

Thank you, All-In-One!    I would definitely use his company again.   (Stuart mentioned that he is the owner of the company, and doesn't usually go on site anymore himself.)

Called company and was told I would get a return call at a specific time. Never got the call back until the following day when my negative review of the company showed up on another consumer review website. This isn't the first time a call back came only after a bad review. To me it seems like this is just another company with lots of demand that is more concerned about themselves than the customer. Nice to know sites like these can reveal the truth. P.s. The excuse was they had an emergency.....if I had a dollar for every time a contractor didn't call me back or show up to an appointment and then told me it was an emergency I'd have lots of dollars! Cheers to Yelp!

I don't usually write reviews, but found West LA Electric through a Yelp search. I was so pleased with them that I'm writing one :) From the moment I called for an estimate, Scott was super friendly, explained how the process and price estimate works (we were looking to have 2 ceiling fans installed), and wasn't pushy at all about committing to the service then -- as I wanted some time to make the decision. We ended up hiring them, and they were so great. They texted that morning to confirm the time and appointment, and as promised, Jose, the electrician, called when he arrived. Jose completed the work very efficiently and neatly, and was super friendly (answering all of my boyfriend's questions about how the electrical worked!). I would definitely hire them again -- thank you!

These guys are awesome! They were quick, courteous, and very professional. And their prices were very reasonable. I received some estimates that were way over what East West charged me. I had 2 ceiling fans installed and one room required a j-box installation. They showed up early, made sure to wear socks over their boots, and had all the necessary equipment including plastic tarps and ladders (believe it or not I've had technicians ask to borrow a ladder). And all their gear was clean and didn't leave dirt in the house. They were done in about 2 hours. They accessed my attic so they didn't have to leave any holes in the walls. They also made sure to ask me the right questions ahead of time before proceeding with work, otherwise I stayed out of their way. Fans are perfectly balanced and quiet. I would highly recommend them and will be calling them again if I need electric work done!

Penna Electric did an awesome job on a very large, complicated & challenging job.  I oversee a 60-unit apartment building in Torrance, & we needed to replace outdated electrical panels in nearly every unit -- plus several more around the property.  Penna Electric finished job on budget, as quickly as was reasonably possible over the year-end holidays and in the midst of a pandemic.  What's more, their work is impeccable, and we got so many compliments about their friendliness and professionalism that I'm surprised their ears aren't permanently singed.  In addition to getting tenants to trust letting them into their units, the Penna guys had to convince every tenant to let them shut off their electricity for half a day -- just as parents were working from home & kids were doing school from their bedrooms.  Some of the work also required rewiring badly or dangerously done previous jobs, sometimes across multiple units.  Owner Todd Penna was communicative and available throughout the roughly 1-month process.  I'd interviewed multiple electrical contractors, & selected Penna based on Todd straightforward manner,  stellar reviews & midrange pricing -- not the cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive.  If they did plumbing or babysitting, I'd definitely hire them for that, too.  Highly recommended!

Joel and his crew are consummate professionals. He was able to diagnose some tricky issues with my home's wiring/circuits (lights blinking/cutting out, appliances shutting off) and propose excellent, long term solutions. Other electricians had previously quoted very high costs for elaborate work - Joel explained that there was a better way and his quote was well below what others had given me.

On the day the work was scheduled, Joel and his crew arrived on time, with full COVID safety gear, ready to work. They made special accomodations to allow us to maintain power in the home offices while they worked - this was crucial as my spouse and I are both working from home.

After a full day's work, everything was working great. No more blinking lights, microwave cooking at full power and the washer/dryer can run without overloading and shutting down.

Throughout the process, Joel made sure to keep me informed if what he was doing and why it was important. He took the effort to actually show me what was wrong and explain what needed to be done.

At the end of the day, I was quite happy. The cost of the work was extremely reasonable (I was expecting it to be a lot more than it actually was). I believe that this was because Joel knows how to efficiently diagnose issues and has the experience to know exactly how to best correct them. He didn't waste any time, didn't try to upsell me things I don't need and treated my whole family with respect.

I will definitely be calling J Powers Electric for any and all future electrician needs.

Amazed!  I spoke to Eduardo on Saturday morning, got a quote within minutes.   He showed up with a small crew a few hours later to install an outdoor 14-50r for my EV Charger.  They crew did a great job and was also extremely friendly.  The job was professional and I was walked through everything when they were done.  Highly recommend Blueprint Electric.

Our newly installed LED ceiling light started making some noise and sometimes will turn off by itself. We requested the lighting company to send a new one and they did. But somehow we have trouble to install successfully. We called Got Light Electric because they have excellent review in Yelp. The owner gave me an estimate on the phone after he patiently heard my lighting problem and had scheduled a time for the repair. Unexpectedly, Alex came earlier than the scheduled time and he immediately worked on our light. He put a plastic cover on our hardwood floor to protect our floor before he started to work.  He not only reinstalled our light in a very short time he also repaired our broken switch as we mentioned to him.  Our light came back without any noise. We highly recommend this company if you have any electrical  lighting problem. The electrician's work is professional and efficient and the price is friendly.
