Spoke to Roman Monday and made appointment on a Thursday to fixed an outdoor outlet that powered my automatic sprinklers. He gave me estimate. He called me with an opening same day Tuesday. He fixed the faulty outdoor outlet and connected my low voltage outdoor lights. Only charged me the same estimate Price. Thank you so much.

Amazing work from the guys at Zenith that installed a ceiling fan at my Mom's house. They literally came for an estimate and that day were able to install it. Super helpful and courteous. Highly recommend these pros!

Nathan took my call and didn't require the 52 questions that some other electrician companies list off before they can even tell you about appointment availability. It seems like every other company I called before used a third-party reservation company which was super annoying. Got an appt offered for next day even though I needed to push it back a bit further. He sent Luis and Aden over. Both were super professional and even educated me on the wiring mistakes that I made. They walked me through how the wiring is setup in my new condo. The invoice was super reasonable - will definitely have them come back to do a few more projects.

Jose Sanchez and his crew at AP Electrics installed an EV charger at our home. He was super responsive, reliable, and personable as he dealt with my condo association's requests, the very slow city permit process, and my questions. The installation went flawlessly and was approved on the first city inspection a few days later. We were incredibly happy with both the service and completed installation. The heavy rains last month revealed some bad electrical work done to my house that I previously not known about since I moved in last summer. I was having issues with a circuit breaker tripping. I set up an appointment with BK Electric and they dispatched out Liron quickly to meet with me to resolve this issue. Some investigating revealed it was a larger problem than anticipated due to wiring work that had been previously done by someone who was most likely not a licensed electrician. Liron was able to offer a solution and schedule the work.

Additionally, he suggested I upgrade my circuit breaker panel from 100 amp to 200. He said it was strange for a house my size and age to have been built with a 100 amp box. LADWP confirmed this as well and the LADWP rep was very confused that the builders would have used such a box. I contracted BK Electric to upgrade my panel. They handled the permits, inspections and stucco repair as well, which made the experience for me very easy and seamless. I was very appreciative of all their hard work and efforts. I'll definitely reach out to them in the future for my electrical needs.

I have used West LA several times now in the past year in connection with a number of projects around the house.  I've had a great experience each time; they have always been punctual and got the job done on time.

The most recent project - just completed - was the upgrade of my electrical panel.  Most of the work was done by Gabriel with Scott's help as needed.  Gabriel identified a couple of circuits that required attention to bring them up to code. The new panel is up and running and looks great!

Our new electricians! They respond quickly, do good work, have reasonable rates, and are very pleasant to deal with. We had several light fixtures installed and a dimmer switch repaired, and everything went perfectly. I even had a question a few days later, and had they not been able to answer it on the phone, they were going to come to my home that day to handle it. I will use them for all jobs in the future, including more complicated work.

Thanks again Yelp.  Had a collection of smaller electrical issues I needed handled based on a home inspection.  Appointment was booked and they made sure they had the right equipment the first time by speaking to me in advance and getting photos before arriving (i.e., no charges for parts runs).  All work was completed quickly, and they were definitely not trying to troll for extra charges like some places do (the pointed out some work that did NOT need to be done and could have easily just done it and charged more).

Very satisfied, will use again.

I was very pleased with the work done by J Powers Electric.  More importantly, my mother was pleased.  The work done was to update electrical outlets for new kitchen appliances.  My mother was given a clear and thorough explanation of what work needed to be done with the estimate.  They were on time, neat, professional and thorough.  I wouldn't hesitate to refer J Powers Electric for any electrical project.

In the past, I've often found Yelp reviews to be very useful, but never felt compelled to write one of my own ... until now.

I've had two different lighting problems in my home for months. Two switches simply stopped working: the overhead lighting in the master bedroom, and a switch for a chandelier in the dining room. I contacted two different electricians that I found Yelp for help. One showed up, explained how difficult my problems were, and then promised to get back to me after the holidays because he was so busy. I never heard from him again.

The second electrician made an appointment with me, then promptly cancelled that appointment, also claiming to be too busy. It was hard to believe they'd be so busy when they treat potential customers so poorly. Who would put up with this?

At the end of my rope, I called Leland and B & K Electric, with zero expectations of any better treatment. Boy, was I wrong. Not only did Leland give me an appointment for the very next day, but he had me text him pictures of the switches to get a head start on the problem.

Minutes later, I got an call from Leland saying that, in fact, he was in the neighborhood and if I didn't want to wait until tomorrow, he would come right over and help me out!

In the span of 30 minutes, (about an hour after I first called), Leland showed up AND fixed BOTH my problems with ease and expertise. And, the service charge was beyond reasonable.

I have NEVER had a service experience regarding home repair that ended with a result as pleasant and completely satisfying as this one.

As I told Leland, B & K has a customer for life with me. If you need an electrician, I can't imagine you will find a more friendly, dependable, and expert company. I wish I could give him 6 stars.

We are installing a new HVAC on a 34yr old condo & needed 2outlet units installed to be up to code. Blue Electric was my 3rd call and they say third times a charm! That Blue Electric was...a charm! Came out and completed the work in 2 only days. Oh and may I add this work was on my roof & garage. They are professional, never flaked an appointment & explained everything simply. They are stored in my contacts for life!

Celso responded quickly to my Yelp message, was knowledgeable about my problem, was on time, and wore a mask when he arrived. Although I had a somewhat new/unusual electrical problem (electric car tripping a breaker panel) he was able to troubleshoot the issue. About a year ago, we experienced a serious power surge at the house which left the outlets in 4 rooms fried and inoperable.  Although I have swapped outlets and light switches before, I knew this was over my head.  Since no one I knew was able to recommend a service based on firsthand experience, I was left evaluating a number of electricians and handymen on my own.  I spoke with 7 in all and encountered everything across the gamut - free estimates, estimates for a fee, phone consults, hourly rates, job rates, etc.  Ultimately, I hired the team at Belco electric based on Yelp reviews and my impression of the owner on the phone, even though Belco charges for the diagnostic visit.  From my standpoint, I felt that Belco was able to clearly explain the underlying problem in terms that I could understand and alleviate concerns of being overcharged.  To protect their competitive advantage, I will not divulge pricing, but will say that IMO, the cost of the repair was fair, upfront, and substantiated.

I have an older home and as most homeowners are aware, it is impossible to tell whether previous owners cut corners when it came to electrical repairs, until something goes wrong.  This turned out to be the issue at my property so Belco was presented with the arduous task of first locating, and then fixing each problematic outlet that caused the surge.  With regard to the repair itself, the team was punctual, efficient, and respectful of my space.  I know that a number of reviews here reference Yuri, who is the main point of contact at Belco, but I want to recognize the entire team who kept me informed along the way, cleaned up after themselves, and also fixed + installed several outlets on my behalf without my asking.  In fact a couple of the guys have a great sense of humor and seem to enjoy their work.

In short, as with any other home repair service, HVAC, plumbing, etc., no one likes having to call the electrician.  That being said, among the multitude of options out there, I am very happy that I decided on Belco and will continue as a future customer.

I had them install a pair of surface-mounted 240 V outlets for our new EV on the garage ceiling. Cesar came quickly to give a reasonable estimate and then completed the job efficiently and on-time. Would definitely recommend.
