I hired Yury again to come in and install a dining room light, two hallway lights and an entry light. I added to the request by having him install one more light and two dimmer switches. Yury did a great job. He is efficient and knows his craft. One of the electrical boxes in my ceiling had a bad installation, but Yury was able to fix it and make it work for one of my new hallway lights. Again, he is a great electrician; very reliable and responds quickly. And his price was very reasonable. No need to look any further; hire Yury and you'll be very happy.

These guys do good work. Hired them a bunch of years back to install some ceiling fans, hired them again recently wire new lines in my ceilings and reroute existing switches to install a whole new set of fans. I can't say enough of how happy I was with Yuri's service. I contacted him about an issue I was having with an electrical panel. He came to the house the very next day. Turns out, the electrical panel was fine. It happened to be a GFI outlet in the garage that needed replacing. It had been painted over and hidden behind a standing shelf unit. He also fixed an exterior light on the upstairs balcony and trouble-shooted a few more things before he left. All of this for the cost of a service call. It's great when you discover excellent service and fair prices in a contractor. I'd have Yuri do all of my electrical work from now on. I'm so glad I came across him. Yelp does it again! FINALLY - an electrician that is honest, fair priced, pleasant to work with and above all knowledgeable and skilled. I had a complex exterior lighting issue at my house thanks to terrible seller's realtors in not handing over information on how to work things in the house. This one perplexed me and all my handyman friends until Yuri showed and did one walk through of my property and then diagnosed and fixed the issue. He arrived just two hours after I called to check his availability. He will no doubt be my go-to electrician here on out as its so rare to find good trade people in LA.

I cannot recommend Yuri at Belco electric enough. I saw the great reviews on Yelp and took a chance. It definitely worked out for me! He helped get the power back to my pool equipment so that my pool would be ready and functioning for my kids while they're home during this corona virus time. He found other safety concerns and helped me deal with them. He was available right away and was done very quickly at my home. Pricing was extremely reasonable and was half the price of another company I got a quote from. I will definitely be using him in the future!!!

Just want to give a shout out to Yuri and his team I had a new 200w electrical panel upgrade installed and also had him update all my lighting fixtures and ceiling fans inside my entire home. The end product was amazing me and my family find ourselves just turning the new recessed led lights on and off because we are so happy with the work lol. Joking aside... his quality of work is great no issues at all with the building inspector when they came out to review the panel work, Yuri took care of the required permits and scheduled the inspection days after the panel was installed. I am grateful for Yuri as he is a good honest person who does great work. Highly recommend if you are looking for an electrician who truly knows his craft and will take the time to educate you as well on the work being done.

We could not be happier with the work Yuri did for us, 2 days before Christmas! He arrived about an hour after we called him and was in and out in 30 minutes. We already had the circuit breaker we needed, but he swapped it out for us for $85 which based on other quotes we received is incredibly reasonable.

We recently built a walk-in closet and needed some lights installed and an outlet installed as well as a switch changed around. Yuri returned my call within an hour and came out the next day to give us a quote which was very reasonable.

We couldn't move forward with our construction until the lights were installed so Yuri came out on a Saturday to start the project, which we really appreciated. While he was here we asked him to install the ring doorbell because someone from the company was unable to do so with our doorbell. He only charged an extra $40 for that and the ring company had charged us $50 and didn't even send an electrician.

We thought Yuri did a great job, was very nice, easy to communicate with, and showed up on time each day. We ended up hiring him to fix some lights in our hallway as well. We will definitely be calling him back in the future!

I called Yuri on a Friday and he was immediately able to fit me in the following Monday. He installed 2 chandelier lights in my closet and was also very thorough in his explanation regarding the wiring issues with my front porch light.

Yuri came thru again with the great lighting skills. In our new townhouse he installed 12 recessed lights. 4 in the living room, 4 in the nursery, and 4 in the kitchen/dining room with vaulted ceilings. He finished the job faster than originally quoted and also he connected the dimmers to wifi so we can turn on/off the lights via iphone. Amazing job Yuri!

I had a couple of ceiling fans that I wanted to replace and was counting on my usual handyman to do so. When he came out he pointed out that the original installations were somewhat Micky Mouse in terms of the electrical and he suggested I have an electrician make things right. So after browsing Yelp I found Yuri. I called and he quickly got back to me. I explained that I needed two J-boxes installed in the attic and he provided a quote on the phone that seemed fair. He was able to arrange coming a day or so later and he and his helper got the electrical property sorted and asked if we also wanted the new fans installed. Price on that was very fair also. Both he and his helper were very friendly, efficient, and clean. I would HIGHLY recommend Yuri.

I've worked with Yuri twice already. Both times he was able to diagnose and fix our electrical issues quickly and efficiently. Our first issue was that one of our switch boxes in our breaker panel kept switching off. He had said it was overloading and that we would need a new breaker switch to resolve the issue. Instead of charging me the extra money to replace, he made a suggestion to move one of the wires to an unused breaker switch and that would solve the problem without having to spend extra money which I happily took his advice!

Second time he came out, we tried to do a DIY job with a garbage disposer unit for our sink. Obviously we aren't electricians so when the power was not working when we connected the unit we called Yuri. He figured out the issue in less than 2 minutes and that a previous electrician had not connected the wires correctly behind the wall switch.

Knowledgeable, efficient, straight shooter and overall great guy!

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL BAD JOB! I had a bathroom ceiling fan replaced, to start the electrician did not have a measuring tape, he asked if I had one, luckily I did so I let him use my measuring tape, he needed a pipe reducer, I personally went to Home Depot to get it so he would not waste time traveling, when the job was finish he left a big gap between the ceiling and the cover, I can see through to the top of the roof, I told him that is not how a professional job is supposed to look like when finished, he responded, that the owner is responsible to patch up after they are done and he will not fix the ceiling, if I knew that he was going to cut a hole WAY LARGER than he should've and I'm supposed to hire a ceiling plaster person after he is done, I would never have allowed him to do the job.

He quoted me $200, when the job was done he said it is $250 I told him you said $200 over the phone, oh around $200 he replied, then he was nice enough to give me a $20 discount, OF COURSE that was before me inspecting the finished job and seeing the bad job he actually did.

What a nightmare, because all we had to do after this install was paint our bathroom wall and we were done upgrading our bathroom! I do not recommend this electrician, think twice before you allow him to come inside your house, he did not provide a written quote or an invoice. This is a well learned lesson, get a written estimate, invoice and insurance coverage.

I needed some simple electrical work done prior to installing a backsplash - relocating an outlet, updating switches and outlets. I contacted a number of other people who I suspect weren't interested in doing a small job. Here's the thing about customer service - one small job can turn into more work in the future. I have a number of things that need to be done, but since my priority was finishing my kitchen backsplash, that was my focus.

Yuri was responsive and willing to do the work. Then I had a number of delays, which put off the job for a few months. When I contacted him again, he was very gracious and flexible. He was thoughtful in reminding me of details when I was buying the equipment (ensuring I had the correct amps, verifying 1 or 2 pole), but not condescending. He came and did the work quickly and efficiently. I will use him again and recommend him to others.

I recommend Yuri and his work with the utmost enthusiasm. As I called around about a rather significant electrical job (replacement of my main panel), I found some companies were slow to get back to me. Yuri called me back immediately. We set up a time for him to give me an estimate, and he was on-time and thoroughly descriptive of the process. Once the work began, he pulled permits and got approval through Building and Safety. Everything was done on the up and up. Yuri kept me informed the whole time as to his schedule and what part of the house he needed access to.

When he uncovered an issue that he couldn't have foreseen during the estimating process, he indicated that he would eat the extra costs of the work. I can't expect you to pay the extra costs, when I didn't include it in the estimate, Yuri told me. I really haven't seen this kind of professionalism before. I turned out paying him for most of the extra costs because he did such excellent work, a fact that the DWP inspector corroborated.

I'll continue to use Yuri for all of my electrical needs.

Yuri came out to my house about a year ago to fix a broken light switch, took him 5 minutes and that was that.

Then we needed some big projects taken care of so I called Yuri and he showed up on time did a great job and was very professional. He installed flood lighting, a chandelier and an outside ceiling fan. If you're looking for a good electrician in the valley give him a call you won't be disappointed. I bought a new electric car and needed a level 2 charger installed at my house so I could charge the car in a reasonable amount of time. I called Yuri and he gave me a quote over the phone to install it. A level 2 charger is 240 volts. The installation was pretty straightforward since our power panel is right on the other side of of our garage where I wanted the charger.

When I got the charger (HomeDepot.com), I called Yuri and scheduled for him to come out the next day. He was very prompt and completed the work in the estimated time. He and his assistant were very competent and neat in their work, including cleaning up the job site. The next day, Yuri emailed me an invoice for his work (since I needed an invoice for the federal tax credit next year).

I'd highly recommend Yuri.

Belco Electric Services are true professionals.
I have an in home recording studio that pulls many thousands of watts when running at full tilt. The house is old and so is the wiring. I kept blowing fuses and I believe there was a real fire risk, so I called up Belco to re-wire the room and add high amperage fuses and sockets to the room.
Yuri came and had the job done quickly, professionally, and at a reasonable price. Now I can pull all the power I need without worry.
I would absolutely call him again for any other electrical services.

I must say, Yuri is prompt, professional, CLEAN, and quick. I called in and made an appointment for the very next day. The job was to take care of quite a few random things to get our house in Reseda up to par to pass inspection and finalize permits for work that was done well before we even bought the place. A breaker box in the garage was the wrong kind, none of our outlets were GFI protected, the main panel to the house had exposed wires etc. Yuri came in and told me what I needed to do and, most importantly, how we can satisfy the inspectors without spending too much money.

A good cost-of-service is always something people look for, and the price was great for the work he did; however, that wasn't the most meaningful part of hiring Belco. BOTH times I had him out here, I ended up double-booking myself (I work freelance) and basically let him in, paid him his money and left the house for the day. He cleaned up after himself and locked the door behind him on his way out both times... how many electricians can you trust like that?

Lastly, it was nice that he bothered to educate me a little bit on proper wiring. I used to be pretty savvy with this stuff, and it all started coming back when he decided to take the time to show me some interesting details about the way my house was done.

My husband and I have been dealing with a flickering lights issue in our condo for a while. Yesterday it finally got to the point that something had to be done--I was starting to fear for our safety.

I found Belco on Yelp and gave them a call because they offered the free estimate. Yuri came the next day and immediately diagnosed the problem.

When he told me what it was I was like, So what kind of time frame are we looking at here? And he was like, Well, I've gotta get the part and make a custom fit for you, so...about 3 hours?

Three hours!?!? I thought he was going to say three days!! I was beyond pleased with how quickly he took care of the problem. He also gave us a discount on the service and a free breaker. Most importantly, the lights are working perfectly! Thanks Yuri!!!!!

Give them a call--you won't be sorry. Unless you don't have an electrical problem--then you might be sorry. But otherwise... ;-)

We got a new dishwasher and had to have a power plug moved from the middle of the space into the wall, not an easy job at all. Just had service done by Yuri yesterday. I went online the night before and found his site through Yelp and scheduled an appointment right there on the site. This was much easier than the normal call 3 contractors and maybe they call you back routine that I am used to. Anyway, mid morning the next day Yuri called me asking what time he can come by.

A few hours later he showed up and quickly diagnosed my loose wire situation. (The outlets stopped working after the space heater caused...something). This was a critical repair as it was the also the outlet that ll of my home office was plugged into.

He also diagnosed a ceiling fan that wasn't working while he was here.

Overall, great service and I will use again as I am sure the previous owners work will show up in the future.

BTW, he charged me $135 and it was about 70 min of work.

Bottom line, 2 years ago I paid $900 for some work on our old house from another electrician.

Yuri completed a job for me in September that cost $550. I am not an electrician but I KNOW that Yuri spent more money on parts and spent more time for 1/3 less the price. If you factor in the labor and parts, I would estimate that Yuir was about 1/2 the price of my last electrician.

I highly reccommend Yuri for your electrical needs. He is professional and classy.

I first received a message from Yuri saying the number i provided was NOT my phone number, Ive had the same phone number for 18 years I KNOW my phone number. I kept my composure and went through with scheduling the estimate. When he arrived to my door and rang the door bell I had taken a few extra minutes to put my large dog away, he began calling me. I did not pick up the call since I was heading to the door to answer it. The first words out of his mouth was Your phone number does not work. Seriously!!! No, Hi How are you ? At this point already having some regrets, I jumped straight to to the estimate. I had asked him to separate the quotes I needed, Bathroom, Living room, bedroom, kitchen, and outdoor lighting. He had no paper or pen. He told me ok. After showing him what I wanted done, I gave him my email address and asked him to send a written quote to my email. He then text me a grand total NOTHING separated.I text back please send me a written quote to my email with each room separated. He tells me, I don't separate my work, its all worked in. I then told him I need it separated so I can compare estimates apples to apples. He texts me the total price for each room no explanation of work done to each room. If this is how he operates a business I am scared to see how he works. We didn't get past the estimate.

Yuri and Mike just came out to our house to install two bathroom fans / lights and did a really good job. They had to figure out the labyrinth of our ancient electrical system and solved to problem to get us power for lights, fan and heat no problem. They are also very nice and personable guys-- Mike even offered to help me when he saw me bringing the trash bins back from the street. Their rate was also very reasonable. I needed some electrical work done -- specifically some rewiring and moving two junction boxes. Called three different top-rate electricians on Yelp to come and give an estimate.

First guy's quote was a bit higher than I felt was right, and he tried to upsell me on some extra work he suggested I do. He then said he would email me a detailed quote along with his schedule. I never heard from him again.

Second guy never showed up.

Third guy was Yuri. He arrived exactly when he said he would and he quoted me a much better price for the same work as the first guy. He understood exactly what i needed and didn't try to upsell me on anything else.

On the day of the job, Yuri and his partner arrived right on time and go to work. They were both very friendly and respectful of my home. The job was finished in the time frame Yuri stated and the price was exactly what Yuri quoted (no last minute surprises). In fact, when they finished they took some extra time to clean up the space they were working in and now the room looks cleaner than when they arrived.

I have been using Yuri at Belco for electrical work for almost 14 years. I just realized he was on yelp so I wanted to be sure to post a review. Yuri is super reliable, always arrives when he says he will, works very efficiently and always makes sure to get the job done right, never leaves a mess, never does a bait and switch on a price and his prices are super reasonable. He's done all sorts of electrical work for me and for the condo building I lived in - installing recessed and track lighting, installing photocells to replace timers for outside lights, repairing broken light fixtures, installing bathroom light/vent fixtures, repairing vandalized lamp posts, replacing outdated light sockets...running wiring to install a wine refrigerator, replacing a motion detector light. Basically, the guy is awesome and can do any electrical job ...if 14 years of calling him doesn't give credibility to this 5-star review I don't know what would, but I highly recommend Belco for sure!!

Working with Yuri was a great experience.

I just recently purchased a large home and the inspection report had a list of electrical issues that needed diagnosing and fixing. He quoted a reasonable price and was able to resolve all issues very professionally, everything as stated.

There was an issue noticed the day after where a lose wire had gotten knocked lose, Yuri quickly made himself available to check and was able to repair within minutes.

About a year ago, we experienced a serious power surge at the house which left the outlets in 4 rooms fried and inoperable. Although I have swapped outlets and light switches before, I knew this was over my head. Since no one I knew was able to recommend a service based on firsthand experience, I was left evaluating a number of electricians and handymen on my own. I spoke with 7 in all and encountered everything across the gamut - free estimates, estimates for a fee, phone consults, hourly rates, job rates, etc. Ultimately, I hired the team at Belco electric based on Yelp reviews and my impression of the owner on the phone, even though Belco charges for the diagnostic visit. From my standpoint, I felt that Belco was able to clearly explain the underlying problem in terms that I could understand and alleviate concerns of being overcharged. To protect their competitive advantage, I will not divulge pricing, but will say that IMO, the cost of the repair was fair, upfront, and substantiated.

I have an older home and as most homeowners are aware, it is impossible to tell whether previous owners cut corners when it came to electrical repairs, until something goes wrong. This turned out to be the issue at my property so Belco was presented with the arduous task of first locating, and then fixing each problematic outlet that caused the surge. With regard to the repair itself, the team was punctual, efficient, and respectful of my space. I know that a number of reviews here reference Yuri, who is the main point of contact at Belco, but I want to recognize the entire team who kept me informed along the way, cleaned up after themselves, and also fixed + installed several outlets on my behalf without my asking. In fact a couple of the guys have a great sense of humor and seem to enjoy their work.

In short, as with any other home repair service, HVAC, plumbing, etc., no one likes having to call the electrician. That being said, among the multitude of options out there, I am very happy that I decided on Belco and will continue as a future customer.

I hate looking for someone to come fix anything. It is always a crap shoot in the dark and I always feel uneasy whether I am being duped or not since I look so clueless.

After having one of those situations where even clueless me knew I was being overcharged, I searched YELP for options.

Belco seemed to fit the bill. I called and spoke to Yuri. He asked few questions and set an appointment to come out today for an estimate.

I am from out of town, house sitting my daughters older home while she was away. She asked me to replace a defective GFI outlet in a bathroom and replace a 60 year old light switch (3 different switches that were unidentified). Needless to say after pulling them both out to check the wiring I decided to have a professional do the work. I researched several company's through Yelp and gave Belco Electric Service a call. He arrived the next day on time and was very courteous and professional. I showed him the two problems and he completed the work with in an hour. Recently we figured out, that our modern kitchen appliances require more electric power, then it has been provided for them in 1960, when our house was built.There's not enough juice to support two appliances working at the same time. Belco Electrical Co came highly recommended by my relatives + good Yelp reviews.They ran some circuits from our electric panel in garage, added two more breakers, GFI outlet for safety. Long (but not that long) story short-we're using whatever appliance we want whenever we want, without being concerned that breaker might trip or else.I'd give them a call again, they're honest and reliable people.

He asked me what the problem was and told me how to solve it thus avoiding him having to come to my home and charging me for a service call. He did this knowing that he was losing income but wisely understanding that building good will is as important as the payment he might have received had he attended our home. The fluorescent lights in my kitchen stopped working a few weeks ago. I called a couple of other local electricians listed on Yelp, but they were either too busy or didn't bother answering (despite 5 stars on Yelp! I noticed others complained about the same lack of response).

I emailed Belco even though it based 20-30 miles from Arcadia, where I currently live. Yuri was able set up an appointment within the week, and was able to accommodate me when I had to change the time slightly.

Yuri quickly figured out the problem (the ballast), got a new one locally since he didn't have that exact model in his van, and quickly replaced it. I had also asked him about fixing an old kitchen exhaust fan, but he told me it was not worth fixing.

I found Yuri to be very friendly, honest, and professional. His rate seemed reasonable. Hopefully I won't have more electrical problems, but I will contact Yuri first if I do.

Yuri came out, was easy to deal with and helped me form an efficient and cost effective game plan to update some old electrical in my 1926 house. He installed an additional breaker switch and line from my electrical box --- and i was away when he wired and put the outlets on the wall in my office. In my opinion it was not good placement and cosmetically didn't look good. I was distress and thought we were going to have a big issue... but Yuri felt bad about it and came back a rectified the situation. I'm really please with the outcome. He's very professional and a really good guy.

We purchased a new dishwasher and when it was delivered and about to be installed, we discovered that the old one was hardwired and the new one needed a plug outlet. The delivery company for Best Buy could not do the work so I searched Yelp and found Yuri. Called him on Monday, he arrived promptly on time Tuesday for our appointment. He helped me remove the old dishwasher and within an hour he had installed the plug. His price was completely fair and reasonable (less than another company I called). He was pleasant and professional. He is everything you expect in a tradesman --on time, does what he says he will do, charges you fairly. Totally recommend this man--no hesitation to use him again.

I spoke to Yuri a day back for installation of a Level 2 Bosch Charger. He was very prompt in returning my phone call. On the phone he explained me the entire process and the amount of work and material it entails. He sent Steve the next day, who went through the process with me. He also corrected me about the existing outlet which was not as I had assumed. For a nominal charge, he was able to setup a 40A circuit breaker switch along with a very clean setup. There were no holes in the wall and he used an existing outlet cap to skillfully install the 220V wire along with the charger. He cleaned up after his work and was very polite throughout the process. Once the work was done, he tested the charging on my electric vehicle, which worked without any issues. He explained me briefly how the charger worked and how to minimize my electric bill for the same without any further mumbo jumbo.
I will definitely use his services in the future.

Just had an EV charger installed by Belco. Yuri was very professional and his pricing is very straight forward and fair. I had already had a number of other companies come out and give me estimates (and even asked one to come out and do the install but they no-showed). All of their prices seemed very inflated for what I thought needed to be done. I have some knowledge in electronics and it seemed pretty straight forward to me. I didn't understand why it was so expensive to install. Then I found Yuri.

After giving Yuri the specs and photos of the job site, he gave me a price (not an estimate or range, and over email [apparently he also thought it was straight forward]) that was all inclusive. It was also exactly what I would have expected it to cost me for the complexity of what needed to be done. The funny thing is that he is the only one out of 4 highly rated contractors on yelp that quoted me what I felt was a fair and reasonable price.

He came out and finished the job in 3-4 hrs including running the wire and installing the charger. Then tested everything... the charger, the panel to see how much current it was pulling, etc. Then he told me everything was fine and that he also guarantees his work.

Over the years a number of electrical things in the house broke down: the motion detector lights around the perimeter of the house stopped working as well as one of the bathroom fans.
I looked for an electrician in Yelp and one of the people I contacted was Yuri. He was quick to call me back and it was decided that I purchase new lights and fan. He quoted me a price for the labor that I believed was fair and made an appointment. He came on time and things went well except that the new bathroom fan could not fit exactly in the space of the previous fan. Yuri worked some magic and he was able to install the new fan. Even though he had to do extra work to fit the fan he honored the price he quoted. Since then I called him on two more occasions for other needed repairs.

We had asked our usual handyman to fix an electrical problem in our den -- our lights were flickering and our TV was constantly turning off and back on again. After trying a couple different things, our handyman claimed it was fixed... But it wasn't!

My husband found Yuri on Yelp and was able to quickly set up an appointment with him. He came by and figured out the problem almost immediately. He had the necessary replacement part in his car and was done in less than an hour. He even explained to me exactly what the issue was.

I recently used Belco when one of our electrical outlets blew up on us. I called them, got an immediate answer from an actual electrician, and he was at my house later that day.

Like everyone else has said - they know what they're doing, they're very straight forward about what needs to be done, and just as important...they're straight with you on cost.

The electrician diagnosed the problem, did some rewiring, and we were good to go...all within a couple hours.

We waited five days for our pool specialist to take care of the problem. They wanted to replace all the pool electrical cables. Unprofessional. I had Yuri come over to give me an estimate to install a 50 Amp / 240 Volt NEMA 14-50 outlet for a Tesla vehicle charger in my garage. He provided a quote by text. We scheduled a day for him to come out and do it. When he came out for the install, he said we're doing a 40 Amp, right?. I said, I'm pretty sure it's 50 Amp. Frankly, I was surprised that he was saying this as when I originally contacted him and he came out, I told him I needed 50 Amp / 240V NEMA 14-50 outlet for a Tesla. I said that I could print out the installation guideline from the Tesla website to confirm the requirements, if he wasn't sure. The printout did in fact say 50 Amp, and I showed that to him. He then said that he only quoted me for 40 Amp. And that it would be approx. 20% more than what he quoted me, to install 50 Amp. I said where did you come up with 40 Amp in the first place? I never said 40 Amp, he never said 40 Amp, and his quote by text never mentioned it. He then claimed that I never told him it was for a Tesla (which is complete nonsense- I explained to every electrician I got a quote from exactly what it was for). I asked, if he didn't know what kind of car it was for, why would he just pull 40 Amps from thin air to use for the quote? He said that they have installed these for different types of cars and it is not always the same in terms of Amps, sometimes it's 40 and sometimes it's more. I then asked, if they aren't always the same, and you really didn't know what kind of car it was for, why would you not ask before providing an estimate? He had no good answer. He of course refused to perform the job for the price quoted, and so I sent him away. What a bait and switch! Extremely unprofessional and disappointing considering I kept my calendar clear and stayed home from work for him to come and perform the job.

Is it wrong to say that Yuri is SHOCKingly good? Well, he is! Had three different electricians here before him half a dozen times. The problem was as simple as oxidation and build-up on the circuit breaker contacts. Less than one hour and no more flickering. Also advised what to watch out for and did not push for unnecessary panel upgrade like one other guy.

Yuri is really fantastic. He is professional, friendly, does great work, and never tries to get you to do things you don't need. He is our go-to electrician on our house (which has a few, ahem, issues). We've been really happy with Yuri.

This is a fantastic company. I have had a long list of electrical jobs that needed to be addressed in my older house for some time but could not get anyone I knew to recommend an electrician - they either had horror stories or said their guy only did big jobs like re-wiring whole houses, new construction, etc. I finally went on Yelp and found Yuri's reviews and I can say without reservation that Belco's 5 star rating is well deserved. All my many jobs were done in one day at a fair price and Yuri and his associate even came back the next day to check on something I thought wasn't working. It turns out I was hitting the wrong switch - they were gracious and had a good sense of humor about having to drive all the way back to my house just to show me that I wasn't hitting a correct switch! Finally, finally, we have found an electrician we can call! Absolutely use Belco for your electrical needs.

Yuri arrived early for our appointment today. He was professional, courteous, clean, and he worked efficiently. He charged exactly what he said he would, did exactly the work he said he would, and was very easy to work with. We will be having him back to do some additional electrical work soon. I would appreciate if he took credit cards, but having to write a check is no big deal. Yelp reviews were correct!

Very nice, professional man who was always on time and extremely thorough. Fair price and no pressure whatsoever trying to convince me other work was needed. We had a mini power outage and lights were going on and off. Some plugs would work and some wouldn't. Finally, nothing worked. We called Yuri on a Saturday morning and told him the situation and he said he'd be over at noon. He even called and showed up earlier than expected! It was awesome! When he came, he figured out the problem right away and fixed it very fast! He also fixed a few bad outlets that needed to be iced with no problem! Yuri was really really nice, picked up after himself, and very informative on what he was doing and why he was doing it. Excellent job!

Wanted to confirm all that is said about Yuri. My experience with him and the quality of his work this past week was exceptional! I needed 220 run to my pool pump after a pump upgrade. Price was reasonable, he was on time and my wife said everything went smooth. He also identified another safety issue with our pool light that we were unaware of and had been living with since the previous pool contractor's inadequate work on it. I plan on using Yuri for all my electrical work in the future. He lives about 20 miles from me, but had no problem coming out to Thousand Oaks from Tarzana for a couple of hours work. HIghly knowledgeable and recommended in my opinion.

I hate calling plumbers/electricians/etc. All they do is cost an arm and a leg and make you feel stupid. I would call Belco again in a second. Yury was prompt (early!!), the price was fair, and the service was outstanding.

Belco Electric Service was truly a blessing to my family. We had an electrical problem involving our newly purchased room A.C. Two other electricians quoted us at ridiculously high prices and another charged more to trouble shoot the problem and also tried to add another electrician to the job. (It was not a two-person job) The Belco Electrician was a constant professional each time over the phone and throughout the job. My wife and I will definitely be calling them back for more work in the future and recommend them to our H.O.A. They should be taking over the Valley's electrical needs very soon!

I cannot say enough about Yuri and his fantastic work!! He arrived ahead of schedule a few days before Christmas to help us with both hallway and overhead lighting failures. He reviewed all the options clearly and even helped purchasing all needed parts. the overhead lights he repaired involved reaching ceiling fixtures at the roof some 20 feet up. In addition to our primary needs, he also fixed several broken outlets inside and outside of the house. He made multiple trips to local hardware stores to purchase all the parts, even offering to finish the job on Christmas eve. Further, he worked quickly and efficiently, even calmly navigating my two kids aged 4 and 18 months who were fascinated by his work. His prices were very reasonable for all his hard work. Checked out Yelp for an Electrician first thing in the morning on 1/9/2013. Found several with great reviews. Called Belco Electrical 8:30AM and they picked up the phone before business hours, made the same day appointment which was promptly met. Repaired the flickering light problem that I have had for years but suddenly got worse. Polite, factual. Great trouble shooter. Quoted me a set trouble shooting fee. Trouble shot the issue and fixed the problem for the original price I was quoted for just trouble shooting the issue. Superb, Professional Electrician. Would call him Yuri again in a second. I give him a 5 Start rating.

With summer coming and our pool motor broken, I knew that I couldn't put off having it repaired. I called 3 different electricians, but Yuri was the only one who returned my call immediately (one finally returned my call after 5 days, and the other one never called me back). Yuri fixed the motor within a day and left my backyard (which he had to dig up in order to lay down a new conduit) in perfect condition. We also asked him to install an exhaust fan in our bathroom. He also did that job quickly, competently, and neatly. We were so satisfied with his work that we asked him to do a 3rd job (broken floodlight mounted above our garage door). Our old, broken light looked like an enormous prison spotlight and so did the new one my husband had bought to replace it. Yuri made a few suggestions to my husband, which he took. I'm so happy with the results! Yuri's choice was a flush mounted fixture that blends in so nicely with our house and lights up our property even better than the old one did. A trustworthy, knowledgeable, efficient electrician who cleans up after himself when the job is done (and a nice guy to boot)? All at a reasonable price? You bet Yuri will get our business in the future!
