Best Roofing Contractors in Arizona

I cannot say enough GREAT things about Glendale Roofing.  in 2014, I had my entire roof redone by another company.  From the start, I knew something wasn't right.  After more than 10 months of start and stop work, I finally stopped the company from returning and no longer listened to their excuses.  Long story short, I wound up in court and was very lucky to come in contact with Alan from Glendale Roofing.  Alan was not only someone that came out to my house to view the damage and prepare an estimate for me, but testified to the damage in court against previous persons work.  

I was very nervous about having to find another company and Alan put me at ease.  His boss called me personally to answer all of my questions and after meeting with several companies, I chose Glendale Roofing to do the job.  I was quickly scheduled (2 weeks out) and they were prompt on the first day of work.  The job took 4 days from start to finish.  The team had to completely remove the tiles, underlayment etc.  Each day, Alan would call to give me an update and I also learned he drove out to Gilbert each day to monitor the work.  They were professional and my property was spotless at the end of each day.  A few days after they were finished, Alan again came out and used a giant magnet to ensure there were no nails on the ground for my kids or pets to step on.

Ed Gilson is like the Einstein of the Roofing Arts.  He is thoughful, comes up with the longest duration and most economically efficient solution.  We are lucky to have such a craftsman in our area of the country.

We've had heavy storms recently in Arizona. We've had extraordinary service from Castile Roofing in Maricopa, Arizona.

Our terracotta tile roof had been great for years, but some really battering rains caused leaks to our garage and one bedroom.

I dealt with their general manager Alex, who was courteous, concerned, and efficient.  He assigned Anthony to take care of our roof. The offending section of the roof was almost a puzzle. Several roof edges came together and it was tough to diagnose what was happening.  Anthony kept at it until he figured it out - and ripped what he'd done out after additional rains added to the leaks. He found a flaw from the original roofers who installed the roof. The wooden base had several grooves in it!  The grooves were acting as a channel to cause our leak! This was something that obviously was a rare occurrence.

We've had several more rain storms since Anthony's final fix - and we're dry! Anthony is a young man with a terrific work ethic! He shows up, keeps working, and is totally courteous and effective in what he does.  He is a licensed roofer who is proud of his work and his efforts show that.  

These days, it's hard to find the level of courtesy, commitment and competence that both Alex and Anthony demonstrate. What a pleasure to deal with them at Castile Roofing!

Alison, the owner of Paragon Exteriors, made the experience of re-roofing my house easy. From beginning to end, Alsion arranged everything from the estimate and thorough explanation of costs to roof and gutter replacement, handling all interactions with the roofers--as well as dealing with my insurance company! Her crew was on time and finished the job on schedule. When Alison was finished, my yard was immaculate and could not even tell that any work had been done! She was professional and expeditious in her handling of all phases of my roof replacement. I would highly recommend Alison and Paragon Exteriors.

I want to thank universal roofing specialist for traveling out to California to inspect my boss' roof and install a new roof and be soo patient with the cities permits because we know how that can be. I love that he gave step by step details and pictures. Deshawn's communication is very thorough. I recommend his company to anyone needing any roof repairs.

Shon is a great businessman.   He was very diligent, sincere, and people-oriented personality.  I needed a ramada or pergola as some call it, in my backyard, roofed.  It previous had Micky Mouse plywood sheets with some roll roofing on it, held down with bricks, that was not professionally done.  Was like that when I bought the house in 2004.  So the wood got rotten over the years.  One of the rotten places was the armrest of the wooden bench.  I asked Shon to replace the rotten wood that involved the armrest.  

But I didn't like Shon's carpenter named Kevin.  Shon told me he was a great carpenter, but when Kevin came to replace the rafters, and the armrest, he did not have the consciencious eyesight to see the rotten wood that was supporting the top horizontal board that the arm rests on.  And when he replaced the top board, he DIDN'T THINK to turn the board over to the other side where there was no knot, so the armrest can be clean and flawless.  Instead he nails the bad knot-holed side on top, where the knot fell out, leaving a hole in the wood.  His eyes didn't even notice the hole in the wood.  It was not that he saw it and didn't care, cos later I asked him why he nailed the wood with the hole at the top instead of turning it over to a good side on top.  He just never THOUGHT about it!  

His eyes and mind also did not notice, what I thought was screaming obvious, that the wood supporting the armrest, was sooooo rotten and disintegrated, and he nailed good wood right on top of crumbling termite-eaten wood.  See my pictures of the rotten wood that Kevin nailed good wood on top of.  

I would not hire this carpenter if I were his boss, because he lacks the vision needed to do the good workmanship job, that I would want for my business.  If I were owner, I would want a carpenter whom I can TRUST AND KNOW will do a good job, without me having to check to make sure he did, because I know he can SEE and THINK!  

Instead ME, AN OLD SENIOR LADY, who has no construction experience, HAS TO SHOW KEVIN !!!!!!

But after showing Shon the pictures below, he sent Kevin back to make it right.  I asked Kevin why he didn't SEE the rotten wood.  He said he really didn't THINK about it.  I said You need to SEE and THINK!!!   He said, I guess I do.. Why is it this old lady had to THINK for contractors.  

Anyhow, I am still giving Shon 5 stars, cos he made it right, and was so determined to make me happy.  He replaced ALL the rafters, when his bid said replace about 5 of the7, but I paid for the armrest replacement which included some of the wood replacement in the rafters.  

Also Shon saved me money over other roofing contractors, simply because sheet metal is cheaper than roll roofing, which doesn't last as long, either.  

Someone mentioned that it would be noisy when it rains hard.  I have not yet experienced heavy rains.

Ended up not choosing Hays for the foam work I needed but was impressed by their professional response and would recommend you consider them. Response was prompt and directly addressed issues I'd raised in my initial request, and price quoted seemed extremely fair. Reasons for not picking them solely due to idiosyncratic issues at our house.

Justin returned and put two coats of elastomeric on the roof.  
There has been only light rain since then,  but it didn't leak.  
We hope that it doesn't leak again during the monsoon season.   If it makes it through that, we will be very happy.
Justin did the right thing by standing behind his warranty.

My roof's paper was 25 years old, brittle and a good rain away from causing a significant leak. He kept me informed the whole time. He and his team showed up on time, did the work in the time frame communicated, cleaned up the areas daily before going home for the day and after the project was done.

Very good experience! Orville, Martin, and their painting crew were top-notch. Initially we were somewhat skeptical that our house could be painted in only 2 days with professional quality results.
But once a couple of initial delays were overcome, the work was indeed completed in 2 days and we couldn't be happier with the results. From the fascia and trim, to the entry, security, and garage doors, to an attached storage shed, the speed and end quality was/is impressive. A shout out here to Mario of Martin's crew. He's an artist.
At a highly competitive price you can't go wrong. Highly recommend.

Very pleased with the customer service from Roof King. Called the office and was immediately greeted by Karen who was able to schedule a technician out to our house within 24 hours. Although it was a minor repair request ( wind damage) , the tech ( Hunter) was on-time, knowledgable, courteous and thorough. He made the repair and also checked over the entire roof. Found another small issue that I was not even aware of. Took pictures of the repairs (and sent me copies for my files) . Reasonably priced and invoiced/paid electronically. I asked for several business cards to pass along to neighbors.

Great service. Chris was great but I think it was a little pricey for what was done. I won't know if what he did works until it rains! Hopefully I won't have a  leak but Chris said to call him if it does !

It was time to get a new roof and I received a lot of bids from various roofing contractors. In the end I picked Arcadia Roofing and am very happy with the results. First of all, they promptly responded to the bid request, a lot quicker than the other companies. Communication with this company was outstanding. The owner, Tom Leale, always responded to my email and phone calls in a very quick and professional fashion.

Plus, of all the bids I received, Arcadia Roofing was the only one who noticed that I had the wrong stand on my roof for the air conditioner unit. Of all the other bids that were received they were the only ones to notice this flaw.

This job was not an easy one. They had to remove old Spanish tiles plus the old layers of composite roofing that sat underneath. Plus, they had to work around a lot of the other contractors around the home. They showed up as scheduled and wrapped up as scheduled. The crew was neat and courteous and really did a top-knot job. In my book, Arcadia Roofing is a splendid, well run, organization.
