Best General Contractors in Phoenix, AZ

Coming back to Arizona after living in a rural close knit town in Michigan, I found myself missing the accountability that one finds when your neighbors own the businesses you call when you need something done. Word of mouth is the best advertising available in a small town. That is why I love yelp! It allows us to share when a company has integrity, is reliable, and does great work for a fair price. For that reason, I give Rise Above 5 stars. You can count on this company to provide excellent customer service and quality work!

We had a flood at our rental. The complete destruction of our dining room happened. Red Eye Construction came in and did a beautiful job with the put back and with quality materials, and in a very timely manner. They worked so well with our tenant who is having a very rough time in his personal life right now. I highly recommend this company you will not regret this choice in hiring Red Eye Construction to do any remodeling you may need.

I have used The Scottsdale Handyman for years. When I used to own rental properties all I did was call Eddie & give him the info about the particular problem &  the contact info on a tenant & Eddie would take it from there. The work was done in a timely manner & never had a complaint about his lack of professionalism or his manners. From installing a water heater to hanging pictures. From fixing irrigation to installing toilet & such, Eddie can do it all. I have found that there is no job too small or too large for The Scottsdale Handyman!

Total remodel of two story home (which included removing and laying new tile and hardwood stairs on both floors, added additional lighting throughout house, removed and added new doors throughout house, removed old wall paper and repainted every room (including ceilings), extended patio deck and handled all permitting through the city, installed new ceiling fans, prewired electrical for new TV's and bar area.

Most important, this was a very honest and trustworthy family to work with, which was our primary criteria for selecting them in the beginning, they were outstanding!

Rodriguez Remodeling is the best. Period. Originally came out to fix some drywall damage leftover from an air conditioner install. So right there, a major Valley a/c company uses them to fix any damage done during installation.

So we thought, we'll have them do some other work. And it kept on from there. First, they finished our bathroom remodel after the original contractor totally screwed it up and wasn't close to finishing. Two weeks later - all done. Wonderfully.

Then we had them add a porch extension to the upstairs and downstairs. Again, wonderful work, done at a reasonable pace. VERY well done.

We have a daughter who cannot be allowed access to the kitchen. First, they came up with a gate. THEN, they created a lock that can be easily opened by everyone in the family - even my 85-year-old mother - except my daughter.

They have fixed electrical problems in my house, and plumbing trouble. All done well the first time.

I hate to give them such a great review, because we still have a lot of work left on the house. But, they are the best.

I needed a new contractor to do some renovations on our new home so we turned to Yelp and and found shepherd contracting. We used Thomas and his team when my new home needed some updating. The communication was above and beyond. We love our new bathrooms and will post updated photos soon!

I highly recommend Eric at E.L. Construction for any of your general contracting needs. Eric installed a new door in my hallway that came out perfectly. Seeking quotes from other contractors, Eric was by far the most cost effective. I was so impressed by his work that I have contracted him for several other projects around my house and will continue to use his services in the future. Great service!

We went with RH Design & Build for an interior remodel including a complete kitchen renovation.  Despite some challenges along the way, we could not be happier with the end result.  We recommend RH Design & Build for their professionalism and craftsmanship.

We needed a lot of help with our kitchen and bathroom remodel.  We live in an older home that needed a lot of updating.  Everyone on the Good Guys team was helpful and they made us feel like family.  The pricing was affordable and fair, the work they performed was professional and timely.  They thought of things that I never would have and made our kitchen turn out better than I ever dreamed. They did exactly what they promised us.

White Builder - Ellen and her team are fantastic! The team that they have are professional, talented, and really care about your project. Our kitchen remodel was a challenge, but they met it head on and worked their magic- it's beautiful. They take pride in the work they do and it shows. Highly recommend them and we'll be using them again in the future - amazing!

Dion and his team did a great job remodeling my bathroom. They framed out a shower, redid the plumbing for the shower head/handle, installed a window, and did all the tiling. They worked with me on price, were amazingly responsive despite me adding items to the job, and still gave me an amazing final product. Would use them again and recommend them to others.

I was not happy with the remodel of our kitchen. We were told that things were going to get done and they were not. The amount of time quoted was way longer than what it actually took even though I had told them they had out business but to please if anything over estimate rather than under. We have a large scratch in our island counter top and all our drawer were meant to be soft close and completed and only half are soft close and they several don't shut all the way. I do want to say whoever they used for the tiling did a phenomenal job. It was subcontracted out and I would hire them again in a minute but I will never use 2nd ave design group again nor will I recommend it.

Kyle is an excellent handyman. He is professional and respectful. Kyle worked with us to remove the dirty old carpet from our used home, and replaced it with laminate flooring. He offers competitive prices and worked with us to find the best deal on material. He is efficient and flexible. I highly recommend him for any home repair jobs you may have. We will definitely call him with any future repairs we encounter.

I messaged this business on Yelp to find out how much it would be to install a door knob...a standard door knob installed on a standard door...and he said to call a number to schedule an appointment.  I thought "ok...".  So I called the number this morning during their business hours and it just rang and rang.  I messaged Doug back about the unsuccessful phone call and he just responded "must've dialed the wrong number thanks".  This is the service I got.  Don't believe me?  Look at the picture of the message thread I posted on here.  His reviews on here are really good, so I'm really confused as to why I got this half-ass response.  I must've caught him on a bad day I guess?

I spent hours on the computer looking for a company that I could trust and understood my style,  found Spicegirl Remodeling.  I do not live in the country at this time but that did not cause a problem.  I was updated with pictures every week.   I am very pleased with my master bathroom remodel and will ask Spicegirls again if I have another project.
