Home makeover completed our kitchen remodel 2 years ago the entire job from start to finish was done within two weeks. They were thorough, reliable, friendly, and even worked on Sundays. I can't say enough about how awesome they were. I have a 2 year old and a 4 year old and their patience with them and their millions of questions was also amazing! Gilbert, from Royal Construction Services, was great to work with. He helped me replace 3 wood porch and carport posts at my older home.  Unlike the old posts, the new posts have been installed on post bases, which should help keep them dry and secure for years to come. Gilbert was fast, flexible and affordable.

Our ceiling fan broke. JNB picked up a replacement and efficiently replaced the fan.  Thank you so much.

I received a To Fixit brochure where I found 2 handyman businesses listed that were close to home. I checked that they were both BBB certified and bonded/licensed, and requested a quote from each from the BBB website. Lisa from Built by Grace was the only one who responded, and responded promptly by email as requested. An estimated quote was given (handymen work by the hour with a 2 hour minimum). Lisa worked with me over several days in which to schedule a convenient time for Bill, the handyman to come. Bill arrived right on time. He tightened a loose kitchen faucet, and then repaired a bifold door that had been damaged at the bottom when taken off by a contractor who laid flooring. He showed me how to take off a light globe from a ceiling fan for when I would need to replace the bulbs, and provided helpful information on GCFI outlets and cover plates for when I am ready to change out the outlets in kitchen and baths, as well as replacing a photo cell for an outdoor light sensor. All work was done exceptionally well. I am so glad to find a company that I can trust. I will certainly call them again for other "handyman" type jobs around the house. Built by Grace also does more extensive work such as remodels and room additions.

I hired Maxum Construction to do a $136,000 home remodel. I would never do that again. We are now 10 weeks into an 8 week job with another 4 weeks to go.

Truthfully, I took photos with my phone of the materials we ordered. Otherwise they might never have installed them. When we insisted on the ordered materials instead of the delivered ones, they punished us by not returning until after Thanksgiving, three weeks later. Then when the installer shattered the glass shower door, the basin (previously installed was chipped and sloppily repaired in several places. These spots of silicone are now already discolored. The sink Cabinetry has drawers that are not level - at various angles. This sounds picky but it flies in the face of their 100% satisfaction ad campaign.  So yes-89 days, and off color negotiations, prices pumped higher by HomeDepot's cut, unpleasant reps- caveat emptor.

They gave us a great quote for a bathroom remodel but were late every day compared to when they said they would arrive. Sink countertop has issues they did not resolve well. Promised pictures of issues with our roof and never provided. Said they were not capable of doing roof repair and would subcontract and then did it themselves
