Best General Contractors in Phoenix, AZ

We're quickly closing on the completion of our master bathroom remodel. Chris (owner, Shane (operations) and Jim (foreman) have been fantastic throughout the project. They've been clear, honest, communicative and flexible. We're extremely happy with the finished product and hope to work with Schott again in the future for other remodeling needs in our house.

All of this said, we highly recommend Schott to any homeowner considering upgrades in their home. This is a team that you can trust and who will be straight shooters from start to finish. Kudos to the Schott Team!

If you're looking for a general contractor, highly recommend Kyle King. We had a wall removed, cabinets and countertops pulled, and some electrical rewiring. He was very flexible with us as changes were made while he progressed with the job. Job was completed faster than expected and was extremely clean throughout the process.  Received several quotes, he was the most competitively priced, great comms, and he's local to Queen Creek. We used them to replace our baseboards. Excellent job. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again. Very organized, cleaned up as they worked, and very easy to work with.

Stan did a great job with putting up our Courtyard lights. Had a great sense of what we wanted he was knowledgeable and professional. I'll hire for anything I need done home improvement wise.

Manny was awesome to work with.  He helped me fixed a nasty leak on my roof and did full drywall work on my Garage ceiling.  VERY FAIR Prices and super honest kinda guy.  Hit him up!

My wife and I owned a rental property in Phoenix for a few years and used Tom as our exclusive contractor for all kinds of issues that came up including kitchen remodeling, A/C issues, leaks, dry wall repairs, painting, and other odd-jobs that we needed done to help increase the rental appeal and keep our tenants happy.

For every issue we had, Tom was very responsive and honest. He carefully conveyed what all of our options were along with the pros and cons, costs, and provided his professional opinion on what he would do in our position.

In addition, the actual work he did was on time, on budget and showed an excellent level of craftsmanship. I've referred him to several of my friends and family for remodels and other jobs over the years and everyone has been thrilled with the results.

They didn't show up after we agreed on the date and time. I didn't find out until I asked my Tennant if the issues were addressed. He said he didn't even call or text to let him know he wouldn't show. He also had my number and didn't call or text.

This review is for the estimate process only. Amanda came to my house and measured, listened to what I wanted for my remodel, and did what no one else did, which was to bring in some sample vanity doors and shower flooring samples. She responded to my emails quickly, was detailed in the estimate, and followed up in a phone call, showing that she really cared about my business. No other remodeler did that. While I wound up signing with another firm, I would definitely keep ABA in mind as an alternative for future work.

I filled out the online quote request for a large remodeling job at our house. It included enlarging a bedroom, or potentially adding one, and converting our carport into a garage. I missed a call from Jason the next day. He sounded nice enough. I called back and left a message with Bill. No return call. I called the next day. Again Bill answered and said he'd relay the message to Jason. No return call. I called one last time and still couldn't get through. Then I realized if I were hiring these guys I would really want them to be more accessible and willing to talk to me. It was horrible business practice and first impression. I would have probably have used these guys for the house we are trying to sell and the next one that we are soon buying if they had been reliable.

Do not give your final check until absolutely everything is done and fixed.I agree with Diane S review. We are very happy with the results and most problems were minor.After giving our final check, we are no longer hearing back about cabinet repairs still needed and our dishwasher being broken.The job was done before Christmas with final touches in January when a cabinet needed to be added( measurements were done incorrectly).We are still waiting and they seem to have ghosted us now.
the workers were all nice but they do not care for your stuff.Make sure you cover everything in the garage or any area where they are working. Communication is not the best at times though during the construction they were pretty good.They gave us price information and good advice. The times we were meeting to give them money were the times communication was the best of course.When the workers were here we could get more information from  them which was helpful. Also with communication, be sure to write down or even record not ape everything you are having done so that if there is a problem you have the proof. When we had problems they were good about fixing them until this point when we haven't heard back.
As far as the kitchen, they did a big remodel and in the end it is gorgeous.If it weren't for them ghosting me now to finish some things,important things,I would give them at least a 4 or 4 1/2. Considering other horror stories form friends, the difficulties were not that bad and fixable. Jerry and Chari were enthusiastic and made us feel excited about the job.
They raised our hallway and added lights,removed popcorn ceilings and cut out am archway to brighten up the place.Chari had great design ideas and helped me with areas I would not have known. She helped pick out the design with my input always added.
Overall, the kitchen looks great though we will have to pay another cabinet guy to fix the missing piece and we will need to hire a dishwasher person because ever since they put it back in the dishwasher doesn't work.I have brought this up several times but they are ignoring me now.If these things were fixed I would definitely raise the rating even though it is frustrating to be ignored.One last thing. they did do a good job finishing within 7 weeks but the end was rushed and we found problems after. Again, do not give the last check til all the work is done to your satisfaction. They will light pressure you for it .

My wife and I had re-bath out for a quote.  We wanted a tub/shower to be converted to a shower.  The quote included the standard DuraBath plastic material that they promote, a shower fixture, sliding glass door and the replacement of two sink faucets.  The quote did not include flooring, toilet, countertops or cabinetry.  The quote came in around 17k.  

We also had our master bath quoted for a shower stall, tub, glass door, shower fixture and two sink faucets.  Again this did not include flooring, toilet, countertops or cabinetry.  The quote for this bathroom came in around 20k.  

The total quote for both bathrooms was in excess of 37k.  

I received quotes from other companies for the same projects and they were about 1/3 (3 times) of re-bath's quote.  

Re-baths quotes are a lump sum type quote as they do not itemize the cost of any items.  I wanted to write this review to see if anyone else had a similar experience.

Tiana and Glen stole $18950.00 of my money as a deposit on a large cabinet order for a new build of my home. they stalled and stalled and in the end would not produce the cabinets or a refund of my money. Cannot trust them to give you what you payed for. please contact the ROC regarding their reputation and they are not licensed contractors.
