We had the most incredible experience here with Michelle. We were just beginning our search for new wood laminate when we happened to go into the store and found the most helpful, informative, enjoyable salesperson to greet us. She listened patiently, offered some great thoughts for consideration, sent us home with several samples (that helped us see we were WAY off), came to our house to measure - after hours based on our work schedules - gave us a GREAT price, offered spot-on design consulting (we weren't even thinking about baseboards yet! And a diagonal pattern on the landing? Brilliant!) and shepherded the installation every step of the way, including troubleshooting quickly when small issues arose. She communicated constantly and exemplified customer service in every possible way, turning a big project, and a sizable investment, into a pleasure. She truly went above and beyond for us, and there is nowhere else we would even consider going for any additional flooring. Plus, we could operate via text which I LOVE.
Highly, highly recommend!!!

I was sent to Jeff by a friend of ours and I am so glad that I followed his advice. Jeff listened to our wants and concerns and helped us pick out our floors. They are now installed and they are amazing! I am completely over the moon about the entire experience. There was NO over promising and under delivering. It was all straightforward with no surprises. Jeff gave us the info to a fantastic installer, who again went above and beyond!
Thank you Jeff for making this such a wonderful experience!! We will be back when we are ready to do the carpet.

An office in my home was flooded in August 2012. I called ACR since they had previously cleaned my carpets. Their response was immediate. They did a professional and thorough job of removing my carpet and ruined drywall. They also treated the room for mold. The workers kept me informed of every step of the process and interacted with my insurance adjuster to get the job done. I feel they went above and beyond what was required to do the job. They were always available by phone and provided useful suggestions along the way.I would definitely recommend this company not only for carpet cleaning but especially in those stress filled times of home damage.

AZ Remodel Pros installed cabinetry and a hall tree for our laundry room. The process was smooth and efficient from start to finish. Izzy had great ideas for the project and Joey did excellent work. We are so excited to have such a beautiful and functional space!

Beyond happy with my finished bathrooms. The tile floors and showers are beautiful. Nik guided us through the whole process and his team was very helpful and professional. They asked us questions about options we didn't know we had so we were able to get better than what we had imagined. We're very grateful we chose to work with this team! 10/10 recommend.

I'm very happy to recommend K & B Remodeling! When I was looking to get certain elements of my master bath, guest bath and kitchen remodeled, I interviewed a lot of different companies to try and find a good fit for me. At the top of my list was finding a company with good reviews that could do the remodel at a fair and resonable cost. K & B Remodeling checked both those boxes! As the remodel went on I found the company to be extremely trustworthy- which is a BIG deal. Any little thing that came up, the crew was on it and took care of it! I am really just blown away by how it turned out. Its even better than I imagined. Tyson was my project manager and he made the experience awesome. The communication was always excellent and I was kept informed throughout the entire process, which was greatly appreciated. Also a special shout out to Doug and Don (Cactus Valley Plumbing) who really went above and beyond on the job to make sure everything looked and worked great. As a special bonus, the crew was literally some of the nicest people I've ever met (is this even possible??) At the end- it was right on budget! You know they did a good job when you're looking at the rest of your house trying to figure out what needs to be remodeled next. I'll be calling you guys! Thank you so much.

I needed a new contractor to do some renovations on our new home so we turned to Yelp and and found shepherd contracting. We used Thomas and his team when my new home needed some updating. The communication was above and beyond. We love our new bathrooms and will post updated photos soon!

Alfredo and his team always do excellent high-quality work. We've had them rebuild the gables on our house, rebuild a covered patio on our casita, and replace several sections of warped and worn-out siding. Everything has turned out great and we're very pleased. We'll be happy to hire Alfredo's team to do more work for us in the future!

This was a wonderful experience. Rob responded quickly to my phone call, and scheduled an appointment for the next day. I moved into my place a month ago. I had the carpets cleaned by another company at that time. The carpet did not look good, especially after movers sans booties trampled through the house. I thought I would need new carpeting. Thanks to Rob, I feel like I do have new carpet. Great job and extremely reasonable price. He is very professional, and I am very glad he did the job.

WOMEN BEWARE
Do not book services through them. At first, this family business seemed like a great option for me, as I needed to use my vinyl for them to repair and redo my stairs. As a first time homebuyer, I was lost and really needed guidance about what to do.
1. The stairs originally had carpeting with a skirt. Where the skirt was, the drywall was damaged from pulling the carpet off. They told me to replace drywall and THEN they would do stairs. I did that for $500 and then when they finished the stairs, they left the drywall completely damaged again (see pic) the risers were also left completely unpainted, saying they don't do drywall or painting. I ended up paying $470 more again after the project was complete to finish paint and drywall. I later learned that a stair skirt would've solved my issues. I was never offered that and now it's too late. Why was the job not finished??? Why wasn't I given my options of a stair skirt?
2. My initial project start date was pushed out over two weeks because the installer had a family thing. When they gave me notice, it was for the next day at 7am. I WFH and had to move a lot of meetings (which is okay! I would rather get this project done). Well at 12pm I had an important meeting that could not be moved, I asked the installers to take a 1/2 hour break. I got a scathing email from Marilyn basically saying "you don't tell our workers to stop working!" -- how do you let your installers work partially outside in AZ without a break....
3. I had to bring my own materials to their office (40 min away) and had to get things measured 2x. I also ordered a doorway reducer which was completely left off the project and never made. When I asked about it, they made me try and measure the doorway and bring them materials--isn't that a contractors job? How am I supposed to measure the height of tile vs vinyl in a doorway (which is millimeters) isn't this part of the service?
4. Installers were not made aware of a specific area to do, so when I said "yes that part is included" I got yet another scathing email from Michael / Marilyn saying that I was telling the installers to do extra work. They clearly have communication issues.
5. When installers came back to redo some vinyl that was lifting, they tried to guilt trip me, saying "we did this area and didn't know we were not supposed to do it so we never got paid" -- sounds like their employers problem.
6. When I tried to get them to come back and fix that spot, Michael called me and absolutely BERATED me on the phone. I'm not kidding-- my whole family witnessed it. He yelled at me saying I was trying to cheat them out of the project. What I was simply trying to say (and could not get out because the owner Michael was literally SCREAMING at me. ) was that I was not going to pay until they came back and made a reducer and fixed the lifting vinyl. They wanted me to again run the materials up and measure myself for their communication lapse (I have emails to prove I included a reducer). He stated he would send his lawyer after me if I didn't pay ASAP --again project was not complete.
To the installers: please create your own business on Thumbtack so you don't have to work for this company. You work hard and seem to not be treated as well as you could.
Overall, if you are a women or someone who does not know a lot about Millworking, please please look to book elsewhere. I am traumatized from Michael screaming at me and the communication between multiple family members and installers for this project was an absolute mess. I ended up letting them know that I could only email from them on. STAY AWAY!!!!! Get everything in writing!!!!!
