Andrew (the lead) showed up  at the times they agreed upon and gave me a clear schedule to when the job would be complete. They did outstanding install of engineered hardwood flooring on two bedrooms and two hallways.  Brian, the owner, went out of his way to find materials.  Initially, we considered using Home Depot with their engineered hardwood flooring. They outsource it to another company but we were not entirely confident.  Besides, we like using "mom and pop" companies.

He used a subcontractor named Mike Sharp.  His group works very hard & he can handle many unforeseen situations.  For example, we had a crack in the foundation where he did a wonderful patch so that the flooring would be smooth.  Also, he did quite a bit of undercutting of the baseboards.  The hardwood flooring fits about an eighth to a quarter inch under the baseboard.

(tip: learn the difference between installing regular hardwood flooring and engineered hardwood flooring.  We've had engineered custom hardwood flooring in a large area near our front door for 20 years and it takes a lot of abuse.  It can be refinished easily every 10-13 years.)

(another tip: ALWAYS use a licensed contractor.  ALWAYS check the website of the Arizona Registrar of Contractors to see if they have any unresolved complaints.  Some companies claim they are licensed but they are not.)

I spoke with Nick on the phone and he was professional, kind, and patient as we talked through details and quotes. I wasn't able to go with them in the end because the street near the property couldn't fit their equipment, but they let us know ahead of time because they had done the due diligence, which I really appreciated. They will be the first I call for any future properties!

I may have already reviewed Jeremy, but just in case not, he's really extraordinary. He's worth all 5 stars and then some. He does an excellent job, shows up on time and is very professional. While you might have to wait awhile to see him (the good ones like him are busy,) he's worth the wait. On his first job with us, in our new home, I had a list of things for him to do a mile long. And to complicate things, we were still in the SF Bay Area, when Jeremy was here in the Valley doing the work. But he got everything 100% right...and then some. We've since used him again and again and he's now are forever, handyman.

Best tile place in AZ! We bought shower tile, stacked stone, and special pebble tiles for the bathroom shower. They beat the prices of everywhere and were better priced then our contractors price with other stores. They gave us samples and even order more of a sample to see the difference in patterns. I recommend them 100%

Kent did a 2 bathroom remodel and door molding fix up at my place. The craftsmanship was excellent. He was responsive in my phone calls for pricing, questions, and payment options. Absolutely loved everything about our experience with these guys.  First of all, they got back to me right away when I contacted them & were so nice & helpful. Which was wonderful as this was my first experience with a demo company and I really had no idea what I needed or what to expect. They set up a time to come look at the job the very next day & then schedule the actual demo the following day.  Which was the perfect amount of time for us to get everything ready for them to come.  They showed up on time & wasted no time getting to work.  They removed about 1000ft of wood before lunch.  It was awesome!
After all was said and done they cleaned up everything & left the area immaculate & ready for install. Warren & his crew were all so nice & I felt completely comfortable with them in my home.  I would recommend these guys to anyone & will definitely be using them again in the future.  Thanks so much for all your hard work guys!

We just moved here to Prescott Valley from Massachusetts and don't know anyone. Using Yelp I found Mario of Navas Remodeling. I needed a very old kitchen sink replaced and Mario did the job for us. He gave us a fair price and he did an excellent job. We are very pleased with the result and we will contact Navas Remodeling for future work at our new home. Thank you Mario.

Danny and his team are amazing.  Most importantly, they do great work.  They are also on time, customer friendly, and always cleans up after themselves daily.  We couldn't be happier with our bathroom reno and our experience with Solid Home Renovations!

Hired Golden Bear to remodel master bath and second bathroom in March 2020.  I gave it 5 stars so you can read about my experience and who this guy really is.  You decide.

Mike and his partner did all the tile work, plumbing, electrical and some touchup painting themselves, no subcontractors - with the exception of the glass shower wall/doors, which everyone subcontracts. Overall, I'm pleased with the outcome.  They were very easy to work with, which is why I hired them.  On several occasions Michael saved me from my bad ideas.  

But there were issues around the finishing details. I had to go over the work and point out with stick notes many finishing details like at the base of the cabinets, grout cleanup in corners and rough finishing edges.  Overall in the end the master bath came out great.

But in the second bath the amount of grout clean up issues were extensive.  For some reason they decided to change the color of the grout without my consent and it looked terrible. I was told the color would change after it dries.  

Well the grout color did not change when it dried, the color they used what not what I selected.  Michael stop taking my calls after he admitted they used the wrong color and said they would come back and fix it.   I had to hire a tile company to change the color of the grout.

I do recommend that Michael hire someone to do the finishing work he does not like doing.  Would I hire him again or recommend him - NO.

Jean has done several project for us including poo repair, pavers installation, faux grass installation, and concrete repair. Jean does excellent work. He listens to the needs that you have and then offers a variety of solutions to meet those needs. His prices are competitive and the quality is very high. I highly recommend home for all home improvement needs.

We had our garage floor done and are so impressed with the friendly and professional service. Turned out beautiful! Joey had a great solution to safely show that there was a step down when walking into the garage from our house. He did this in such a tasteful way that is not only a good safety feature, but is attractive as well. We highly recommend Hales Concrete Epoxy Coatings.

Never showed up! I took the morning off of work (which is not easy for me) for them to come out and look at a floor repair. Appointment was for 8am. By 930am they had still not arrived. I called and left messages to see where they were. It's been a week and a half and I still haven't recieved a call back with an explanation for the no show. If your time is valuable to you, I would suggest finding a different company.

We are in the process of moving to Buckeye AZ  Sun City Festival . We wanted to get a new master bedroom carpeted really quickly before our furniture arrived . ( So much easier ! ) Rich Corona and his installer Noah were an absolute delight to deal with. Communication with Rich was exceptional . He responded to my questions quickly and promptly. His price quote was on point . Noah did a great job. I would really recommend Rich's small business . We always try and support locally wherever we can, and it's very difficult when you move to a new area to choose wisely .
