We added a new room to our house, and also a couple of cinder block walls to separate the front yard from the back.  Proctor Custom Builders did both projects, and we couldn't be happier.  Everything was done exactly as we wanted and in the time frame promised, the crews were professional and thorough, communication was excellent, and cleanup was thorough.  We highly recommend them.

I needed walls and floors replaced from an old roof leak.  He was also skilled to handle a hidden water leak in the laundry room.  

Come to find out, George is more than just a handy man.  He's a professional contractor with lots of experience building houses.  

Extremely impressive with how quick George responded to my request.  George is assertive, responsive, friendly, and knows what he is doing.  He is accommodating and helpful.   He also helped me move some items in my house.  Just an overall great and trustworthy guy.

Best roofer we've ever found here in Phoenix.  When others could not (or would not spend the time to) find a leak in our roof, Nick was diligent and located the leak and fixed it right away.  He's been out to repair our roof several times after big storms and every time came out right away, found the leak and fixed it at a reasonable cost.  We highly recommend Nick and C&H Roofing!  -Peggy and Steve Kvam, N. We recently purchased a foreclosure property where the water heater had burst, causing damage to the stand and drywall surrounding the water heater.  The bank replaced the water heater, but refused to repair the damaged drywall and it quickly became laden with mold.

On a referral from our Realtor, we hired Wayne Glashagel (Owner of AMA Contstruction) to repair the water heater stand and surrounding drywall.  Wayne drained the water heater, disconnect the copper pipes, remove the water heater, tore out the water heater stand, sprayed Killz on the moldy areas and rebuilt the stand from the ground up.  Afterward, Wayne reconnected the water heater to the plumbing.  

Wayne was very courteous and professional, arrived early for the appointment and did a fantastic job on the repair of the water heater stand.  It looked brand new and the drywall texture matched the existing texture perfectly.

I would highly recommend Wayne for any general contract work.

My parents are elderly and hired Todd's to refinish their bathtub. The tub was 20 years old but mostly in great shape my Mom just wanted it to sparkle again. As you can see from the pictures, they paid $525 to create problems they did not gave before. The tub no longer drains properly and Todd's suggestion was to wipe up the water after each shower or bath. It is so much water that after 3 showers, it leaves an full bath towel soaking wet. Since it does not drain, there are constant hard water stains around the area where the water collects. There are other stains further down on the tub that we cannot remove and the finish is pulling up along the walls. The tub was nearly perfect and now we have major drainage issues and no sparkle! I was assured that Steve would come fix the tub for my parents but he cleaned it and left the drainage problem, the pealing and the stains. I feel like Todd's is taking advantage of the situation. You should save your money and hire someone else to refinish your tub!

Fortress General Contracting, Inc. provided great service and the highest quality workmanship in renovating my home after serious water damage.  The repairs were completed well within the projected timeline and cost projections including requested changes and upgrades requested on my part.

They fixed the leak in my roof and did exactly what they were supposed to do.  They were on time and did a great job!

We are having a  shed built. We were going to use tuff shed, because that's who home depot recommended. We had nothing but problems with tuff shed. This company did not complain or use any of the excuses tuff shed did. Talking with him they have been in business for over 30 years. I  found this company on the internet and was a little leary due to there website but oh my goodness I  am beyond happy! We placed the order Saturday (of a holiday weekend) and they are here installing it on Tuesday! I'm pretty sure that he is just old school and having a  website presence is just hard to maintain. They are  professional. They are  friendly. They are putting the shed right where we want it! Even though they have to do some careful maneuvering around our pool. They were finished within hours. I would recommend this company any day!

I bought a house that you were suppose to have replaced roof and you didn't you added another layer, and could care less, which tells me If everyone is smart they will avoid your company if they want their roof done right!

We were looking forward to using the Windsor window products in a reno project. If the quality and service were there we were going to give them first opportunity at the new home and shop project in the Foothills. The response to my call was good and he 'seemed' quite accommodating. When it came time to get them our cashiers cheque for the required deposit, the salesman became quite the wise ass! We've been in business ourselves for a number of years and I don't recall anyone speaking to me like that before! The cheque went right back into our account. A shame really.

Steve is a pleasure to work with and is very honest and trustworthy. It would be difficult for me to find someone I trust more than Steve. In spite of his busy schedule he always made time to respond to any questions I had.

I would like to update this review and say that Josh Riley has made things right with my family and I. For that, we are very thankful. At this point its a buyer beware of the sales agent, Peg Higgins. If we had questions she would twist the truth to make the sale. We have filed a complaint on her with LLR. My advice to anyone is DO NOT work with her! Request working with someone else. Peg Higgins has taken advantage of many families. Join the buyer beware Meritage group and see for yourself.  Also a lot of helpful information for future home buyers.

Such a shame the way my family and I have been treated. We have been misinformed, mislead, disrespected and our business not appreciated! I feel I was completely taken advantage of. My agent made many promises and broke every single one of them. Things I was promised and made a deal with, were sold to an auction company. No one was going to even inform me of this! It has been one lie after another with this company. The agent cut communication off right after we gave them our earnest money. Even before then, we could never get her to return our calls or reply to any of our texts. We have called many times and get transferred from person to person. The lack of communication pretty much started after the contract was signed. I am very disappointed and an unsatisfied customer. They dont even deserve a one star!

I hired Wendler Construction to renovate my home, he in turn hired D and J Construction to frame parts of the original house, an 800 sqft addition and garage.  They did a horrible job... they used 2x4's when the plans called for 2x6's, used wrong footings on the front wall of the house, used wrong calculations on the truss fabrication thus not allowing enough room for the hvac duct work, and had to reframe interior walls and a new skylight, which they did wrong resulting in having to purchase a custom skylight.  Wendler Construction's lack of experience, skill, and ability to manage my renovation, caused over 5 months of delays and tens of thousands of dollars in additional costs.  And then halfway thru the project, right after Christmas break, Wendler Construction quit on me.  After almost a year in construction, I am still finding mistakes made under Wendler Construction's management.  I would not recommend them.

Our home was damaged by a water heater leak. The owner of Nor'easter determined early on that we were a small job. We learned later that what he meant was that we were low priority. Several weeks later (he admitted that the job took longer then it should have) we have a home repair job that ran well into 5 figures that seems to have been done properly and looks nice.

Communication is definitely not the strong suit of this contractor. And anytime that we the consumer are positioned between a contractor and an insurance company you can rest assured that the process will be confusing. I still don't have the numbers sorted out!
