From the beginning of the process including the initial call, I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with the professionalism extended to me by Audra, Paul and their talented crew.  Audra is very detailed oriented and has amazing design skills.  Paul and his crew are very conscientious and provided many barriers to protect my home during the construction process.  I already have other projects planned for this very trustworthy company.  Also, I felt the cost was very reasonable.  I would not hesitate to recommend Sunset Tile & Bath to anyone.

First and foremost, Kent is extremely professional; his quotes are easy to understand, he listens to your questions, he shows up on time and he works diligently.  
Last year I went about getting quotes to have both bathrooms gutted and remodeled at my parent's house.  My parents are both elderly and just couldn't figure out how to even go about finding a contractor, so I made the calls and got quotes from some contractors, including Kent.  I first had the master bathroom remodeled, but didn't use Kent.  That contractor did a good job, but they sub contracted all the work to a few guys who didn't show up on time and sometimes wouldn't show up at all when promised.  Keep in mind that I was managing this remodel while at my own house, so when my Aunt (who lives with my parents) called me to tell me the (sub)contractor didn't show up, I was pretty ticked off.  The remodel of the 6 x 6 master bath did wrap up after about 2.5 weeks, but included the contractor needing to come back to fix some items that the sub contractor failed to touch up or complete.
Now onto the 4 X 6 guest bath remodeled by Kent.  I contacted Kent and immediately asked him if he subcontracted his work and he said no and that he would be onsite for every step of the remodel.  Kent fit my parent's guest remodel into his schedule and told me it would take 5 days.  It took 4!  Kent had help, but he was there every step of the way (as reported by my Aunt) and he worked fast and efficiently.  The subway tile work over the bathtub, including a nook, turned out beautifully, as did the vinyl plank wood flooring.   Kent's focus on doing the work quickly and doing it well was very much appreciated, as my Aunt now has her own remodeled bathroom to use.  

A Quick Follow Up:  I go over to clean my parent's bathrooms regularly and noticed some buildup around the base of the toilet, on the vinyl flooring.  I contacted Kent and he willingly went over and replaced the toilet's wax ring seal.  It probably isn't even the seal (my parents are elderly and peeing gets more difficult when you're immobile), but I greatly appreciate Kent's willingness no assist me and my parents.

Marcus was a pleasure to contract for renovation of a bathroom shower. This was a first time experience for me and Marcus was accessible, provided great advice and did terrific work. Marcus provided an onsite estimate and helped craft the job based on what we were looking for. Every step of the way Marcus provided updates and receipts. I would not hesitate to contract Marcus for another job.

Not sure if our bathroom remodel qualifies as a large remodel,but was huge for us. We met with several contractors, and Brian was the first and only one that wanted to hear about what we wanted. Our remodel consisted of removing a stall shower and repurposing the space into an additional linen closet. Remove existing garden tub, and build in floor to ceiling shower with a bench and second shower head. Also replace dual sink counter tops in master and guest bath. The team was amazing, Izzy was always on top of getting what was needed throughout the build. Joey was incredible with his work ethic, although his punctuality left something to be desired, but overall worked out very well. Jose and his glass guys were incredible. AJ and the countertop guys did exactly what was asked for, and to a standard that was really amazing. And through all of it, Brian kept all the processes moving. He did it not only like it really mattered to him, but was as critical of the work as we were.  I would highly recommend AZ Remodel Pros to anyone, and will be using them again when we need home improvements that are beyond my abilities.

Easy to work with this team. Ive worked with many contractors over the years and I must say this is the first time Ive ever really been impressed. They showed up daily on time, worked hard the whole time they were there, listened to what we wanted, did an awesome job, completed on time as promised, fairly priced and cleaned up their job site daily. We've done two major remodels (kitchen and master bath) with Shower and Bath Connection (SBC) over the last 10 years, and we highly recommend them.  The owner, Lon Lisback, was very involved throughout both projects, from design, material selection, estimating, demolition, installation, and fine-tuning.  The attention to detail was very evident, as well as the care his crew and subcontractors showed in every step of the remodels.  The workers accommodated our little tweaks along the way without any fuss, and we finished both projects on time and on budget.  As for after-installation service, we recently had one of the handles of the shower valve fixture start to act up.  I called SBC to ask what the warranty was on the part, and without question, they scheduled a visit to the house and fixed it right away without charging me for something they'd installed over 3 years ago.  Wow!  We are very happy with the way the remodels have gone and would highly recommend Lon and his team.

Kitchen and bath redid all my bathrooms Mike and Tyson were transparent through the whole process Morgan kept in contact and helped me with explaining the process I would highly recommend mike and Tyson and kitchen and bath remodeling if your looking for your dream kitchen or bathroom.

I hired modern innovation to do a remodel in my kitchen, new flooring in the main living area's paint, move washer and dryer to another room and turn previous laundry area into a pantry, and some other things.  My first meeting Irving I felt like he would be a good fit as he seem to have good ideas and understood what I wanted and I felt I was clear.   Keep in mind my father and brother were contractors, my husband has done construction. So I'm not an idiot, but I am not by any means a contractor or even a laborer for that matter so I really relied on his expertise.   I found him to be confusing at time's, forgetful in regard to conversations we had. His way of speaking to me put me on the offensive and made me question who I hired.  And why my pantry, my front, main living room, and other minor things are not done. Once the final cabinet, was in I was done.  He's been paid for what he did. I have attached some pictures and I really hope I can comment on them but if I can't, here's a brief commentary of what I see.  On my door what is that? It doesn't match up with either side of the other floor boards and when he was installing the last cabinet he didn't notice that the the peeling paint on the ceiling. Again I know nothing about how to do carpentry but black nails on white baseboard I could swear you can get white nails if you don't plan on painting the baseboards. Putting up that ugly thing under my door I guess you didn't notice the piece of wall under the glass that was not painted nor the broken glass that wasn't broken before.  If  I could remove the one star, I gave him I would.  Now I am on the hunt for someone new that can remodel my bathroom.

After shopping the Home Depot, Lowes route and a couple contractors for a complete new kitchen, I decided on Pelleco. Sam came out and had great design ideas. They have a showroom and offer good pricing and quality. I went into the showroom to buy one thing and between my girlfriend and Sam, I came out with a more modern look which I'm happy for.

Although there were a couple bumps in the road, Sam said he would make sure I was satisfied and he did. They delivered a great kitchen on a total gut job and I'm very pleased with the results.

I will be calling Sam again for my next project.

DJ is awesome! They did a lot of miscellaneous work including drywall, tile backsplash, pantry construction, and painting. Highly recommended.

Our tub was sinking and creaking and also a different shower was leaking so we had Green Home come out to check it out. We had our fix and remodel completed and now our bathroom looks beautiful, we got a sturdy tub and pricing was reasonable. Really you can tell these guys are honest and hard working. Definitely went the extra mile to help me and my wife. Really happy with their service. 5 stars.

One of our bathroom shower heads was leaking and just not working at all. As a result, we haven't used that shower in a year. Tony from Handyman Connection arrived on time, was super professional and was in and out in about 10 min, and did such great work. The shower works great now. Would highly recommend this service and Tony!

Had a busted pipe in between my bathrooms right after Thanksgiving 2022 which was a disaster to get back home to. After water damage repairs I had a few different contractors quote for repairs. Mario was quick to respond and eager to get started even though the insurance haven't gave me funds yet. We went over the job in detail and what would need to be done along with materials. He helped pick up items that were needed from flooring stores or Lowe's without an issue and completed the job within 2 weeks time. Very happy with his work ethic and attitude so I would recommend Navas Remodeling.

I started off my quest for a shower remodel by seeking bids.  Wow, that was harder than it should have been.  I selected D&D as they submitted the most clear response to my estimate.  I did good this time as they did a fabulous job and the shower is stunning!  Everything was just as they promised, including a cleaning service to clean the rooms after construction was complete!  Nice!  Every question I asked was answered and no detail too small was overlooked.  I'm one happy customer!

10:30 am We ordered two ceiling fans and a remote on Amazon thinking we would take advantage of their new Amazon Home Services Group. Our experience was horrible outside of Amazon's normal amazing delivery speed. The day of the installation we received a window of between 11am and 2pm. Kyle from I'm Gonna Fix It called and said they were wrapping up with another client and would be there around 3pm. A gentleman named Chris showed up at 4:30pm and started to work on installing our fans. He pulls me aside before he is done and says We can bill your second fan through Amazon, or if you can pay cash we will do it for 80.00 instead. Amazon charges us a 20% service fee so we can offer a cash discount.
We are so far behind schedule my wife has time to stop and grab the money on the way home from work. Right before he leaves he comes back and says Hey I don't have a screwdriver to put the batteries in the remote. He then leaves without testing it, so we had no idea if it would work. Needless to say, the remote won't sync with the system he installed so I call them up and ask them to fix it or remove the unit so we can send it back.
Chris comes out again, this time, he doesn't have a ladder, even though he needed one the first time, so we let him use ours. (What kind of a service comes without a screwdriver or a ladder?), tests the unit, then tells me Because the unit is defective we have to bill you 65.00 for the hour I was here, but not to worry Amazon will most likely cover the error because the unit was defective. So now they want Amazon to pay us back for their mistake.
His office calls to bill us and I ask them Why are we paying you to remove something that you didn't test on installation. If the tech actually tested the unit and didn't just leave, then we wouldn't be having a second service call. She says, Ok I'll call the owner and ask what we can do.
Less than five minutes later Chris shows back up at my house asking me, What's the problem, and that it was ok to bill us because we let him leave without testing it. It's not only extremely unprofessional to send a service tech back to your front door (not to mention the same one that didn't test the unit) to try and argue on behalf of the company, it borders on intimidation. I wouldn't agree that it was our fault that he didn't test the product he installed and I asked him to leave. The then promptly charged us the 65.00 for the hour.  I will never be using Amazon's Home Services again; I'll stick with hiring my Rosie on the House certified contractors.

2:00pm I added this in response to the owners comment.

I can tell you for us the service was nothing like 100% satisfied. It doesn't do me any good to yell at a technician coming to my house for being 2.5 hours late, it does let me know that maybe the company I am working with isn't 100% reliable. It doesn't do me any good when I tell the tech that I have a screwdriver available to put that batteries in, and he says it's fine and goes home. It wouldn't have done me any good this morning to send the man away because he showed up without a ladder when I had one he could use. It definitely didn't do any good to ask your company to make the service call right, because then I had a tech show back up at my house to blame me for his inability to put in batteries, and properly test something he installed.

The good news is there are companies out there that go above and beyond to make things right. Amazon refunded us your service fee of 65.00 and for the remote within the hour when we emailed them. Personally, I was shocked that they would cover a fee, that should have never been charged. It wasn't Amazon's fault we picked the wrong company off of the list to have come to our home. None of that mattered to Amazon, they made it right, and did it quickly, securing our continued business with them for a very long time.

As for offering to put in the new remote for free well I think you can see how we might not think of that as a plus. The last one cost us part of the initial 80.00 (fan installation), and an additional 65.00 (due to reasons listed above).

I appreciate the quick response to my review but fixing the issue when I called and spoke to your company would have been better. Instead, I talked to someone on the phone that said she would talk with the owner, had a technician show back up at my house to argue the point (which is not great service or professional), and then got a call three minutes later to pay because you felt it was due regardless.

Again I can't say enough good things about Amazon for erasing most of what turned out to be a horrible experience.

2:37pm Finally made it back in my bedroom tried to turn on the fan to take a nap and it doesn't even turn on manually now.

2:55 After a little investigation it seems the tech wired the fan to a different wall switch for the light and the fan, which he didn't do before. We are hiring another company to check the work.

BBR remodeled our kids bathroom. Excellent work. Did exactly what they said they would do. Completed when they said they would.  Bid was significantly less than other contractors.  Very respectful during the bid and remodel. I highly recommend.

We couldn't be happier with our bathroom remodel from Retro Pro. From the initial consultation all the way through the construction, the whole experience was very positive. We were particularly impressed with the workmanship. Quality work through and through. Omar and his crew were always here on time and worked very hard to keep the the construction mess to a minimum. He kept us informed of the progress and what to expect each day. He was a pleasure to work with. The finished project was outstanding and we'd highly recommend them!

I have been building/buying/selling commercial buildings for 30 years. The solution to mold that GPS offers me today - I only wish their technology had been available to me all those years ago. A REAL solution to mold? THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!

So far I have loved working with Ericka and Rosie of Spicegirl Remodeling and Design. They finished my roof in a few days and the team that did it was informative and paid a lot of attention to detail. This was especially important to me as I am about to install a large solar array. I liked working with them so much that I contracted them to remodel my master bathroom.

They also installed door vents and new matching accedes to my attic on both sides of my house so that is could do other efficiency work. (Duct repair, sealing the roof, sealing can lighting, blowing in another 18 inches of insulation)

I will be updating my review with photos and a description when the bathroom is finished.

I'd recommend them to anyone.
