The customer service was excellent. The service call when making an appointment was accurate and very fast. After calling several different Electrical companies and getting misdiagnosis calling 5G Electric was the best decision I've ever made.

The quality ,professionalism,workmanship is spot on! We were looking to add 4 LED living room lights to ceiling with a smart dimmer switch, I do consider myself a good handyman..But this was a project left to experience ! And with multiple wires needed and adding a extra wall switch alongside via ceiling ya get the picture. Communication and understanding what we were looking for and them explaining made everything easy. I have a 25-year-old home that I had built - Israel started out doing some electrical work for my pool equipment. He still does that and other issues that pop up in a 25-year-old home - always helpful and offers alternatives. JH

We had damage to our external electrical power panel and we got Tony's to work with Austin Energy to disconnect the City's power line. They also removed the meter. Tony created a new roof mount for the power line, installed a panel, checked all of the wiring in the house, coordinated with the City to bring a new meter and install the power line. He as we did not have the City bring the electrical power on for several days provided us with a gasoline powered electrical generator. Through the several days here or not Tony was always ready for us. I have dealt with many repair and maintenance companies over the 50 years I have lived in Austin and Tony ranks as my Number One in ability and timeliness!

Amazing service!  Aaron was able to come out within a day for a last minute service request. He was timely, professional and friendly. Great price. We definitely recommend this business!

Here's what we had done: Relocate 2 ceiling light fixtures and a wired smoke detector. Install new lights into the 2 relocated fixtures. Clean up a mess of switches on one wall. It's hard to even describe the ridiculous array of switches the previous owner had put in.  Bryant Elec was able to consolidate 8 switches into 3 and it looks great. Also, removed fixture boxes and disconnected wiring for 4 sconces that were in the living room. Total cost was $853.

We are happy with the work and have already scheduled them to come back and do more. They do charge a $79 fee to give you an estimate. We weren't crazy about that but if you use them, that fee goes toward your bill.  We had used a different electrician earlier in the year that didn't give estimates. They just came out and did the job and then presented the bill. We were pretty surprised at how high it was. We won't do that again. We've found that it's difficult to comparison shop any type of home improvements involving contractors. They either don't show up or they want to charge for estimates and it's a time consuming process. That being said, it's hard to say how high or average or low Bryant's pricing is but it seems reasonable, especially compared to our experience with the other electrician. Booth Sen is the technician that Bryant sent out. He was extremely professional, friendly and a very good communicator. He showed up on time, both for the estimate appointment and then for the scheduled work. The quality of his work is top notch. We will use Bryant exclusively for all electrical work we need.

Back in the saddle! A communication misfire got the project off on the wrong foot but once we reconnected, Andy and especially Aaron completed our project on budget and on time!
The mark of a good electrician is attention to detail and Aaron's work was impeccable!

This is regarding handyman services. Requested two corners of fascia board to be replaced, maybe 12-15 linear feet altogether. Speaking to the estimator, Bob, I understood the 4hr minimum and a potential for overtime charges. Fine, I know the job could be done easily in 4hrs because I've done it myself but just don't feel like doing this kind of work any longer. So I get a call from the technician, Dan, who immediately, I mean immediately begins to tell me that a half-day will definitely not be enough time to perform the work. I explained in detail what needed to be done and he began regaling me with his carpentry prowess. Great, I love good work and I am a pretty good carpenter also so I welcome and appreciate workmanship. Dan continued telling me any number of different reasons why he could not do the work in the allotted time. After expressing my frustration with their estimating process I point blank suggested that Dan come give me 4hrs of hard work and he could leave promptly thereafter to which he replied that he was disinclined and he didn't like dealing with strong personalities. Well, cry me a river, Dan. I could go on in more detail but I want to get to the heart of the matter. Their estimating is lousy when they don't look at the job and tell customers about the 4hr minimum. It leads to precisely this kind of miscommunication. Additionally, it lends itself to precisely this kind of abuse with the technician, before even seeing the job, is trying to add more hours. It is a bait and switch plain and simple. And, if anyone at ABC replies to this I will assure you the first thing out of their mouth will be about the lengthy time in business and their integrity as a cover for this lousy and abusive system. One last thing, as I was speaking to the estimator I determined that if the technician needed materials the time spent running to fetch them would be part of the 4hr minimum. So, I got the necessary lumber, paint and painting supplies, caulk, ladder and even set out saw horses, extension cord etc. They are sitting in my yard in position for the work. All that dude had to do was show up and provide 4hrs of work, exactly what I contracted for...not one thing more and certainly not for more hours before he even showed up for work. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND

Electrical work is good - so far. Do not have them do any other work. We had them paint our banister and railing and it is chipping less than a week later. Paint on ceiling is already chipping. If you like paint on light fixtures, cabinets and flooring this is the person for you. Please do not have them put up curtain rods or repair brackets in the closet. Everything was off center and uneven. Not sure a measuring tape was used. Constructive criticism is not welcomed by him. Drywall work performed is already failing just weeks after repairs. Cracks are coming back. Please beware of substandard work.
