I contacted Gardner Electrical for electricity problem in master bedroom.  Randall was able to help in the same day afternoon.  He is professional, punctual, highly experienced, and resolved the problem quickly.   He is so pleasant to work with.   I will call him again for all my electricity needs.  I really appreciate his help.

Needed an electrician to install and wire vent fans, a plug, and some switches.  Tyner electric came out on the scheduled day and completed the work.  Very professional and reliable.  Would recommend.

Great experience with Raines Electric in getting a manual control switch installed for a portable generator. My contact person was Brian.  We communicated via text, as it was easier for me to send him pictures to get an estimate for the job. He was quick to reply, provided very reasonable rates, and the technician arrived on time. Michael and James were on time and installed the manual control switch. I had some questions about the install and sent a picture to Brian. He wasn't particularly happy with the install, and he arranged for Randy to make the necessary corrections to the the positioning of the manual control switch to make it safer. I'm very happy with Brian's response and with the company. Raines was referred to me from one of my neighbors, and I in turn, recommended them to another neighbor. Top notch communication, great work, and I'm happy to support a local business! Thank you!

Called Zubras on Tuesday, 05.12.15 and Ben, the Service Manager, arrived at my house the next day at 9:00 a.m. exactly the time promised.  He surveyed the job and provided me with a fast, fair, on-the-spot estimate.  I called the scheduling coordinator, Cheryl, I believe is her name, a few minutes after receiving the estimate and she scheduled a crew for the next morning between 9:00 and 9:30.  The next morning right at 8:00, I received a call from Dan, the crew leader advising that he could be at my house between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m.  I told them to, Come on!.  Dan and his coworker, Wade arrived at 8:40, surveyed the job and got to work.  Short version, Dan and Wade were completely professional, took care to protect my floors, walls, and cabinets, and when they came across the unexpected (which is quite common in my 75 year old house) consulted with me along the way.  If I could give these guys 10 stars I would.  They were on time, just as promised, they were professional, honest, and delivered exactly as promised.  I'm very surprised to see the two old (2011, 2013) reviews but my experience with Zubras was absolutely outstanding.  They are now my go-to pros for all things electrical.

We bought a spec home and Lanehart was our builder's electrician.  There was some programming that had to be changed with our ceiling fans and they made it easy and convenient.  They answer the phone with professionalism and the actual electricians are always on time or early and very professional.  They are coming back out to install another ceiling fan and I have the upmost confidence they will be great.   So far, it has been a pleasure working with them.

Our most recent project was installing can lights, updating some outlets with GFCIs and installing light fixtures. Projects have ranged from quickly troubleshooting a tripping breaker to entire rewires.

Since writing my first review in 2017 we have purchased three more units at two additional properties from Hightower.  They continue to give great value for money (which is different than being the cheapest) and deliver perfection at every encounter.  To say that a business has never disappointed me once in well over 150 service or semi-annual maintenance encounters and 9 major purchases since 1996 is about the best endorsement I can give. Mike, Jeff, TIm, James, Diana, Dena, Nathan, Joe, Alex, and all the other folks who have been out to our properties over the years - keep up the great work!  Wishing you much continued success.  John Hightower - great job - a legacy achievement.

One of the Fluorescent Lights in our walk in closet went out, and since the house is 25 years old I surmised the fixture would need to be replaced so I purchased 2 fixtures . This was after trying to find bulbs to fit, and when the bulbs did not light, figured the fixture itself was shot. I contacted Mr. Electric through Home Advisor and they were prompt in returning my call and making an appointment. However when John came out he quoted $450 to use my lights or $375 to bypass the ballast using a different type bulb. I should have declined his work. In the end he admitted the bulbs were $8 each ( $32 total) and was completed in 15 minutes, but said it was his skill that cost so much.  Really?? NEVER ENDORSING THEM !!

Poor business practices and disclosure. AVOID.

#1 You will be charged their transit time from their last job. This is not disclosed on the website nor over the phone when I made the appointment. Whether or not you agree with this practice, you don't just spring it on a customer at the end with no previous disclosure or agreement.

#2 Padded time.  The tech moved things he did not consult me on, which has affected our fixed dryer vent. The tech WAS polite and personable, but this job became much longer than it should have been due to him not communicating to me that he didn't WANT to do the solution we ultimately agreed on and did. His efforts and time spent avoiding that are on him, not me, as I have no issues with it (nor does it violate any code or anything like that.) An hour to diagnose/discuss is completely reasonable - almost two hours in such a small home is not. The actual work fixing the issue took only a half hour.

#3 Miss-billing/double billing/bad math. I was presented with a bill for almost twice the time that I should have been.

#4 lack of receipt. I asked to be invoiced (so I could call in to discuss the overbilling) and at that point the tech stated he couldn't leave a copy of the receipt at all. The receipt that I saw briefly did not itemize the materials charges nor was I offered receipt on those, just a single due amount listed.

#5 Bad attitude from management/owner. When I called in to dispute the billing (I also emailed a detailed time line based on the timestamps in my phone each time the tech called me, his arrival time(s) witnessed by my housekeeper, etc)  the owner or manager that I spoke with - Bruce? - argued with me. He told me about this transit time previous to the job that was never disclosed to me (not even by the tech before he left). He confirmed that the tech took a second job during mine. (I knew this and was okay with it - I was only not ok with being BILLED for it!) I explained that the tech was gone for two hours. Bruce told me he'd be eating the two hours (wouldn't that be billed to the other customer? I'm still confused why I'd be charged for someone else's job!). At no time did Bruce apologize, he treated me like I was trying to pull something!

All of this was to move a single exterior outlet btw.

SHADY, stay away! Despite the agreement that I reached over the phone, I will not relax until i've received the corrrected bill and it is paid and done with!

Had them for years, tried to set up auto pay for TWO MONTHS, several calls and holding, super bad customer service and finally when auto pay was not going to work apparently for them we switched companies. Bottom line Don't use them, there are better companies out here
