Great company!  Very friendly and knowledgeable service. Services are competitively priced.  

Time will be the true test but we did a full solar install on our RV rig. 1200 watts worth.

If you're interested in solar we would really recommend and endorse Aaron and company.

I spent over $7,000.00 for an off grid system and while installing it he closed his business and does not answer calls or emails! Now I am stuck with a $7,000.00 boat anchor. He is not a trustworthy person and he better hope I don't see him again!

From start to finish, I was very happy with my experience with Solar Penny.

The owner is very knowledgeable and the prices are competitive.

They helped me design a system that would be right for me. They didn't oversell me.

The installation went smoothly except for one hiccup. The installer didn't check to see where the bathroom vent pipe was located. After he cut the hole for the charge controller panel he found it. So instead of putting it in a better spot, it wound up with a surface mount box. It's ugly.

UPDATE:

They called in another installer. He found many serious wiring and installation problems and had to remove and reinstall most of the system! Well, all was good until this week when we took the camper in a road trip. We started noticing a strong odor from the black tank. After much searching and aggravation, we discovered the the original installer they had working on our camper had damaged the seal around the soil stack. Owner states he is no longer using that installer.

No follow up .   Emailed all of my info ..... waited for days.    Talked to them waited for email ...nothing.       Typical customer service these days.

I purchased a solar system from Solar Penny.  The entire panel was pre-configured and assembled on a plywood panel.  Installation was as easy as mounting the panel and connecting the solar panels that I also purchased.  Aaron was very helpful in including a very extensive manual that provided instructions and operating manuals on all the components.  I had an issue with the battery connections and Aaron spent all the time needed on a phone call on a Saturday to troubleshoot and fix the issue.  I highly recommend Solar Penny for anyone looking at solar energy as an alternative or for off-grid applications.

I stopped by today at the recommendation of Cliff's Welding. I honestly didn't know what to expect from the experience, and have been let down by RV equipment dealers in the past. What I received from Solar Penny was first class advise and direction - accompanied by simple and thrifty options, which were clearly laid out based on capabilities and budget needs. I didn't buy anything (today), but would not hesitate to have this fellow provide a solar install or upgrade to your RV or off grid residence.

The store is run by a train professional that is both courteous with his customers and knowledgeable with his product.  He keeps on top of the latest technology and stands behind everything he sells.  I've been taking my business to him for years now and will continue to for years to come. As much as I appreciate everything he stands for and does to get me through all of my solar needs I feel a little bad that I just can't seem to remember his name.  Sorry about that sir. Matt, Mitch Aaron, something like that. Anyways thanks again.

With the help of Aaron at Solar Penny I was able to put together the perfect off-grid solar setup for my needs. They have been knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions (I had a lot of questions!). I won't hesitate to refer them to anyone going solar.

The owner Jeff is extremely informed and educated about what he sells and also check out his YouTube videos which are very deep and advanced and help you to learn much about solar.
In my opinion, his prices are the best too. Check him out in Mesa first before anybody else.

This is the real deal.  Met the owner at a training class he was offering for a club I am a member of.  Didn't even know the store existed for sure the best place you can actually walk into and touch the stuff you see online.  Didn't buy anything yet as my cabin is not done but will for sure be back in January to buy panels and batteries.  The owner took me from knowing nothing to having a better understanding of how it works....  Love no pressure places.
