I cannot delete and don't think it would be fair to other consumers not to read my story. Here is your positive review and five star update.

Good luck!!

Right now I am giving them a single star because I signed a contract the end of June 2022 and it is now February 7, 2023 and I still have no solar. Yes they have good prices but right now my customer service has been nonexistent.

We signed a contract 8/2/22. The panels have been up since 12/14/22. The loan repayment is due 3/15/23. Yet the panels are NOT turned on. After countless calls, I'm told they're waiting on a placard that has to be custom made. We did NOT receive an EV outlet as promised at signing. I have only received a call back ONE TIME from the project manager with no action taken. Very poor communication. Very poor management. Bogus excuse after bogus excuse. If you read other complaints, the "owner" advises to call a number, which is the same number I call all the time. With no help! They are all very nice but they work on their own time with zero accountability. I do NOT recommend ERUS ENERGY.

Buyer beware. Erus first sold us a system that was too small for our usage. They even criticized the quotes from other companies saying the other companies were over-selling us.  Everything was delayed. When the work was finally done, they put a hole in my brand new roof. They tried to "fix it" by filling it with silicone. It took weeks to get them to repair it correctly. Later when a microinverter stopped working, it took them two months to replace it. They told me I could not replace it myself as it would void my warranty.

Since our original system was too small, we realized we needed to expand the system, as much as it pained me to deal with Erus again, I wanted a single company to do all the work so everything would match. When we asked for the system to be expanded we were told cash only. When I saved up the money they requested, I was told my original quote was no longer valid and we were given a new, more expensive quote. We signed a contract with Erus on 5/26/21 and paid in full. A week later Erus informed me they had changed their minds and that they were voiding the signed contract. If they will disregard a signed contract with us, I would ask yourself "why would they honor a contract with me?"

Erus tells me there are many other solar companies in my area and that someone else can expand my system, but no one will touch a system installed by erus. Every company says they will only install a second, totally separate system. They all claim that Erus will refuse to stand by any of their warranties if anyone else touches the system. Coincidentally, it was when I asked about warranties that Erus stopped taking my phone calls. Please do yourself a favor and find a different company, a company is only as good as their word and Erus' word is garbage. Erus has lied every step of the way, they are in violation of a signed contract, and won't even take my phone calls. I would strongly recommend avoiding these scammers.

I had the solar installed by Erus energy. However they did reimburse me the two months of the electric bill because my loan payments have started. I have another payment this month and I am paying a electric bill and a loan payment. I called to get reimbursed but no one has returned my phone call. Also the electrician didn't label my breaker box breakers so I have no clue which breaker goes to which. They replaced my old one. Also they had to cut into my roofs metal siding but did a really crappy job. I ask them to fix this and the breaker box but just was ignored. I have had a terrible experience with this company. I will never recommend them again to anyone. I all ready filled a complaint and will be taking them to court. I have on several attempts to call this company and no one returns my messages. I have now reported them to the BBB. Please read the bad reviews it reveals the truth about a company.

I have been contacting Erus Energy since mid-January for a roof leak under my solar panels.
David Brady - CEO at Erus Energy
Kim Crampton - Vice President Operations
Corey D Cunliffe - Senior Project Manager
So far, they had a survey done by their contractor - Reimagine Roofing, which was unbelievably inadequate. Their contractor could not find the leak area even though there was bucket underneath, took a picture of a staple not even close to the leak, didn't take a flashlight into the attic or take any measurement. Survey was done in approximately 20 minutes. I have yet to see report from their contractor. Based on this experience I contracted an independent survey
My independent survey found cracked/broken tiles, measured the leak from the attic to identify leak area and find the same area on the roof. Did professional report showing the problems with the tiles and zeroed in on the leak area under the panels, showed same in report. This survey took almost 60 minutes and was very thorough - as was the report. I have supplied this report to Erus Energy and their contractor.

Not a bargain! Shop around. We didn't and found out too late that Erus does not have the best prices.
They're in no hurry to get you hooked up. Purchased in Oct, 2018. Finally installed Jan, 2019.
Now we have leaks in the roof under the panels. Not blaming them for the leak. But, although Erus advertises maintenance and repair, their prices for those services are unreal. They charge $256 per panel to remove and reinstall. We have 18 panels. You can do the math. A neighbor bought his system from Tesla. Tesla will remove and reinstall his 16 panels for $500 flat!
We are not happy campers!

Terrible company. We have been waiting over a year to get the project completed and still aren't up and running. Constant permit applications canceled. We had to call them weekly to keep them on track. They never reached out to us. Customer service is horrible and it is almost impossible to talk to a manager. They never know what is going on with a project. We always had to update them when parts of the job were complete like inspections, installations, and cancelations. Sales was great at selling us the system but not project management.

I wish I would have read all of these reviews before I was defrauded into entering into $40k loan for a bunch of paperweights on my roof. First of all the install process was an absolute nightmare and after several delays they told me they were out of stock and then I had further delays.  Josh Wasielczyk was unprofessional and rude when I tried to cancel my loan contract b/c they weren't going to be able to get my panels installed by Dec 31 which would have impacted this "amazing tax credit" I was promised.  I was threatened with a huge cancelation fee. Then weird all of the sudden the find more panels!

If there's anything I wish I could do now it's just take the hit on the cancelation fee because now that the panels are finally installed and I've received my first bill and on the proposal they provided me when I decided if I was going to purchase the system was $13. What was my ACTUAL bill you ask? $146. So now my total bill for this month is almost $100 per month than what I was paying when I didn't have solar.

DON'T DO IT!! I beg you. Save yourself. I wish I would have, now I'm TRAPPED in a HUGE loan for the next 25 years and wishing I had never met anybody from Erus Energy

Purchased a solar system from them with every promise I. The world that my power bill will not exceed $30 a month for my 1500 sq ft house. What really happened was my power bill was consistently  $150-$180 with a $128 solar panel bill. Called them repeatedly to come look at the system to see if it was operating correctly and all they did was look at the app attached to the system (the same app that I had) and tell me it's operating correctly. Long story short we sold the house with the crappy solar system and we will NEVER go solar again. The only people who Benefit from solar panels are the solar panel companies and APS. Solar is a complete scam perpetrated by the solar companies and the government.

I received an unsolicited call from a rep who is booking appointments on behalf of Erus Energy. She had my name and knew I was interested in solar. She incorrectly stated twice that SRP and later APS referred them to call me. (This is untrue.) I never signed up or opted in for any calls. The displayed Caller ID was 623-600-7182. Upon asking for clarification for the nature of the call, the rep provided an invalid phone number 855-200-6890. Upon Googling, it is a robocall number used with hundreds of complaints.

Admittedly, I have been in the market for solar. I spoke to two companies. I suspect one of them sold my info as a lead to Erus Energy.

UPDATE: I've looked at my voicemail, and I believe my information was sold or stolen from Sunrun by an unethical sales rep. Only after the voicemail messages stopped, the phone call from Erus began. Very shady practice. Buyer beware!

Erus energy destroyed two fuses and a transformer when turning off and on my power, including a ceiling fan.  The repairman from Erus took two weeks just to figure out what was wrong with my ceiling fan telling me constantly "I don't know."  Soon after I notice that my A/C is having issues.
The repairman did not even look at the HVAC system when I first mentioned the issues to him and said to me that he even is having HVAC issues himself and doesn't know what's wrong with it.  Yet he told his company confidently that they were not responsible for the damages.
Erus energy told me that it wasn't physically possible for the power surge that they created to cause damage to my HVAC.  Yet, one can simply google it and there are several articles that will state otherwise.
Not to mention the written statements by those that repaired my HVAC stating that that was what caused the issues.
It has been about 3 months since of calling and waiting.
After three months Erus Energy agreed to pay me half of what I had to pay to get my HVAC repaired "just to be nice" BUT only if I sign away liability.
I have just been constantly insulted the entire time.  Not to mention that they decided to attach their box RIGHT NEXT TO A WINDOW...It looks awful and it will be harder to sell my home like this one day.
I have told Erus Energy that, to be fair, if they pay me the $900 that they owe me for getting my HVAC repaired And move the box, then I will take off this negative review and call it a day.

The worst ever company stealing money from people by installing the worst system making still paying the same amount to the TEP plus what I am paying to solar credit of a $230 and after many complaint and calls the check and found a shortage of production which I thing much much less than the real issue and finally decided to add 2 panels
And if you noticed all the reviews you can figure the five stars all are fake which related to people may be they are there employers
To whom still complaining may be we can sue them as a team to get our money back

From the moment we were contacted by Erus' Sales Representative George Fragoso, we have been treated with respect and dignity. Program Manager Alma Hunt was a pleasure to work with and always kept us informed as the solar panel installation progressed. We were always in the know and never felt ignored or taken for granted.
In addition, installers/technicians, Jakob, Alex, Roman were on time, friendly, and informative on installation status. They kept the workplace clean when they were done and made us aware of the days events.
We were very impressed with Erus and recommended them to our neighbor who also contracted with them.
We give them 5 out of 5 stars.

We just received our first credit from Trico and look forward to many more. This was a wise investment

Erus now has a location in Tucson.

Two outstanding Members of this company have made our experience shine shine shine!

Selena! I swear if I weren't already taken I'd ask you to marry me... You are by far, the best Customer service rep a company could ever ask for. Your attitude and demeanor are always pleasant and contagious; as well, you have never once attempted to shy away from an issue we had in the beginning and have made certain to follow up and be assured that Erus has done everything it can to be a top quality Solar company. You alone would have been enough to erase a memory of anything that was less than stellar.

Yet, enter Isaac. 7am to Midnight to make sure that the lights were back on. He was thrown into a nest of ugly, and somehow stepped out that night beautifully. Never once a cross word or attitude, no excuses or challenges to the task at hand. A work ethic that is absolutely ridiculously rare these days. Where do I begin to start singing his praise? Professional attitude and attire. Clean cut, respectful, friendly, very respectful of not only myself but also my property. Accurate and ultra particular about his work. I am so pleased to see a true craftsman practice his trade with such enthusiasm and attention to detail. Having dealt with several contractors in the last year, Isaac is only the second to gain my trust and respect and would have no problem leaving him with my open home to work without my presence.

Duty. This was evidenced by his thoughtfulness and his pride in making sure that things were well thought out, that the plan was executed perfectly and that the smallest of detail never escaped his attention.

Isaac is no longer a contractor but a friend. He will continue to do work in the future; however, he is definitely welcome to pull a chair up to the table and dine anytime he likes.

I would like to throw in a sincere Thank you and apology to his wife, thank you for allowing the extended hours required to complete the job and I apologize for the length of time it did take due to some unforeseen issues that were not Isaac's fault. You are just as much a part of who he is and it is greatly appreciated.

I don't know really how to stop the praises of Selena and Isaac, and I would also like to add that JR was a rock star to hang in so late on the work with Isaac. Thank you for your help, it was truly appreciated.

I will update this review once some time has passed and I can adequately  review the equipment and the savings of the utility bill.

For now, I can say with confidence that Erus is a reputable and reliable company.

This company is really good at the time of the sale, once you get your system installed everything changes, I got my system installed a year ago  and it has never worked well, I used last month 2375 kwt my panels produced only  229. I sent the bills to the company and they never answer their phone or return calls, they just keep sending me to other person and after a year I still  paying my regular electric bill and 265 more for their bill. this is a very unprofessional company, i wont ever recommend them to my family or friends. I am not sure of other companies but ERUS ENERGY from El Paso is not recommended to be used.

This company is a scam, I signed a contract with them in October 2107 for a system that cost me $33,000 that includes and LG battery and till now it still hasn't worked properly.  in late 2018 I hired a lawyer to get them to take the system back and refund my money without success so far: The electric bill didn't change as expected, they couldn't get the app working to prove the system is even working after several tech visits to my home, and over 2 years later, they still haven't been able to get the battery that cost me $8K working.  Not to mention they illegal use of providing financing through Spectrum credit union.  They rely on the fact that most people won't spend thousands of $$'s on legal fees to fight their unethical, illegal business practices, but guess what, I will make take this case to court for myself as well the many other victims.

I live in El Paso TX, and today is July 26, 2019, my system was installed and running by the end of April (44 panels a big system). Since that time the main breaker (250 amp) has tripped 5 times June 10 and 26 and again today July 15, 20, and 21, and takes at least 30 minutes to cool down enough to reset. The first time I just reset the breaker thinking it was just a fluke but when it happened, I called the customer service line and was told I needed to call an electrician at my expense to see why their breaker that they installed was not working properly. I was also told if I wanted them to come out it would cost me $200.00 to fix something, they should have installed correctly the first time.
I called an electrician who said that the breaker got too hot because either it had too much of a load (I have a 44 amp system that's a big system) so probably not the issue, or the breaker was faulty, or the heat from the El Paso sun beating down on it directly at 2PM (100-105), or the system was engineered incorrectly so if it happened again call the company and tell them to come look at their system.
July 15, 2019 it happened again and I called again and was told that they would contact the local office here in El Paso TX and someone would contact me in 24-48 hours meanwhile it was 102 and I had no AC and all my electricity was off for about 45 minutes. Later that day Benjamin Taylor the Project Manager from the Phoenix office called and said someone for the install team would be at my home after 1pm the next day July 16, 2019. I waited and no one came. I am a Sr. PM and I would never treat a client like this, just bad business and if I did, I would be looking for a job very soon.
July 19, 2019, I called to speak with Mr. Taylor and he was not in so I left a message and never heard back. Both July 20 and 21, 2019 the breaker popped again so I called Mr. Taylor again but he was not available so I left a message again with no return call. However, I called back about 2 hours latter and did finally speak o him and was told he would contact the install team and call me back with a date and time for them to come out. Again, here it is July 26, 2019 and I have not heard from or seen anyone for that company about the issue.
If it doesn't get fixed, I will be looking for an attorney to get me out of this BS Contract and have them remove the panels and go back to El Paso Electric. I never had a problem with breakers tripping when they provided my electricity, oh and I still receive a bill from EP Electric each month for $20-$40 dollars so why don't they just kick in when this system shuts down?
Read other complaints here before you buy bestcompany.com/solar/co…
I'm starting an ANTI-ERUS campaign in my neighborhood and you should too. Going to put a sign in my yard and around the neighborhood on street corners, parks, etc. that says DO NOT GO WITH ERUS FOR YOUR SOLAR NEEDS THEY DO NOT FOLLOW-UP AFTER INSTALL. My brother closes on a house Aug 30, 2019 just across from me and wanted solar on his house, if ERUS was better I would recommend them but now I have told him to stay away and go with someone else.

I live in Peoria Arizona and this company's goal is to steal your money. Even on the sunniest of Arizona days I did not save half of what they said I would save. The payment plan is a scam within it self. After some research I found better solar company's and a better price. I truly think they installed cheaper solar panels or their estimate was completely off. Don't wast you time or money here. Shop around there are better company's out there. Oh and they took over 6 months to install. At one point they thought my house was in Texas. Very disorganized. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Since my last review we contacted the BBB with our problem. We sent them the contract they showed us, and the contact they had us actually sign and how night and day different each were. We were in contact with the alleged "president" of Erus who wanted to pay us off with two more solar panels (we would have needed at minimum double what we received). We worked with them from August 2017 - January 2018 when we finally had  hearing. They determined the company had to move the solar panels into the sun and settled on an "interim decision" to be reaccessed on August 20, 2018.

They came out and quickly moved the panels when they were ordered to  by the BBB, 11 months after our initial contact with them about moving them into the sun. By this time we had slipping panels as well. Thankfully those were also taken care of (but really? slipping panels?)

During the interim we were going to wait it out and see if the panels produced. Production improved only slightly, but not near enough to justify our full electric bill PLUS our solar panel bill. The solar panel bill went up after the first year and some months to approx. $170 a month per the contract.

When August 2018 came around we contacted BBB to find out what they needed from us, when our final hearing would be, etc. Our BBB agent, Jasmine Hill, acted like she had no idea who we were or what we were talking about. BBB stopped responding to our emails. When we logged into the system our previous case documents had expired. I have everything saved to the hard drive so it's not like I can't provide them with a case number. By this time we were already moved out of the house and had our house for sell as we were offered a job in the next city over.

We looked into our options for transferring the loan to the new homeowner. In order to do this we would have to pay $4,000 of the loan regardless. What? This whole thing was chasing buyers away. We had to tie up the cost of the solar panels into the sale of the house, and  thankfully someone did buy it. The monthly payment we paid from March 2017 - August 2018 only covered the interest of the loan. The solar panels themselves still had a full price tag on them.

We had to pay off $17k in solar panels and jump through all kinds of hoops and pay ridiculous fees to get everything paid off and taken care of. This means we didn't net much of anything from the actual sale of the house. These crooks really dipped their hands in our investment. Oh, and for any people trying to sell out there, In order to connect the monitoring system to the new home wifi you also have to pay $400 to get it swapped over. They nickel and dime you at every possible corner.

I will never recommend this company. They are scum.

STOP CALLING ME!  After I told you the first time that I am on the do not call list and you needed to take me off yours, I have received THREE MORE CALLS!  It's ridiculous and I know that you obtained my phone number through less than ethical means because you are calling on a number that I only use for clients and friends.  I do not give this number out to any business with whom I have a "relationship" and I certainly don't, and never will, have a relationship with your company.

By the way, I am self-employed as well and I totally get how hard it is to find clients but that doesn't give you the right to operate in such a disrespectful and unethical manner!

I am a former employee that worked in the call center for almost 6 months. It definitely wasn't an easy job but I haven't found a telemarketing job that is. Funny thing is that they actually expect you to show up for work and perform. Sounds crazy but they do. It was made clear everyday that we were in a production and performance position.

The bottom line is, it's a job! I was paid every Friday without fail. Even made cash through out the week from all the spiffs they offer. I have recommended and will continue to recommend this company to anyone looking for work. The majority of the people there are great to work with and as long as you do what your getting paid to do you'll be fine... (Kind of like any and every other job I've ever had)

As far as there solar goes, one of my family members wanted solar and went with Erus. They love it...

Want to know why I left, message me and I'll tell you.

My family hired this company to install 18 solar panels for 30 K on our property. Before anything was signed we mentioned what needed to be done to the house, and the solar panel manager said that they would do it. Well they didn't do it. And we've gone three almost 4 days without electricity because they refuse to come and even look at our fuse box so all of our food went to waste. After that they still refuse to fix the cabling even though they know it's part of the panels they refuse to do it. When we called to complain since we've been calling nonstop for weeks I finally had enough and told them a piece of my mind and the manager basically called us some kind of golddiggers for wanting the basic done that we had agreed upon. I found that extremely offensive. On top of a lot of other things they told us this company is so unprofessional so disgustingly rude I'm not even over playing this. They told us this all on the phone I'm so disgusted with this company I'm trying to figure out how to sue them I'm also reporting them to the state and I'm gonna look into reporting them with as many bureaus as I can they're disgusting do not believe what they're telling you

Eros Energy installed panels on my home in SC in January 2017. The salesman said the panels would produce an average savings of $120 per month. The panels produce about 1/2 of what was promised. The electric company said the panels would never produce what was promised. I have called numerous times and emailed. They do not ever get back to me. I am going to hire an attorney. Do not use this company.

Just cancelled my order with them. Very unresponsive and extremely poor communication. System might have been ok but had big question if they would ever be receptive should a problem arise. Impossible to get a straight answer after sale made and 'program management' is inept in my opinion. They do not listen, assume they know everything, and belittle the customer. Sales presentation is exceptional but after researching, some of the information is not properly identified as an industry standard- ie- wiring in series is not approved and all panels are required to have electrical shutoff, panel monitoring per panel. Perhaps someone else has had a better experience but this is not the company for my project.

I had my solar installed in the summer of 2015.  It is now the spring of 2016 and my solar still isn't producing energy.  So now I'm paying Erus for the lease and I'm also paying APS full price for electricity (which the snake who signed me up assured me that would never happen). Do not under any circumstances sign with this joke of a solar company.  If there were an option for 0 stars I would do that.

The bill of goods we were sold prior to installation is all false promises. We got pushed to make a decision by the end of October so that installation would happen prior to the new year as well as receiving tax benefits. After agreeing to this it took until March for the system to be installed and working. All the way up to that point blaming others for why something was not complete. Beyond that during the sales pitch we received from George to make the change to solar we were told about a "zero" bill we would have, especially with the electric company we have that they would be easy to work with and most likely actually receive a credit at the end of year. At this point between the cost of solar and the additional cost from our electric company we are paying more to have solar then it would've cost us without solar. We are all for helping the climate but was lied to from day one with this organization from sales people to the installation staff. On top of all that they also offered $1000 referral bonus to people. We were referred by another client who then was told that offer was no longer good. They took short cuts every opportunity they could. SHOULD not be your choice for solar.

I purchased my solars with this company last year. After everything was said and done I was very disappointed with them. They told me one thing but they did not keep their word. First of all they lied to me just to get me to sign the contract. They lied about the loan terms I would get, telling me it would be 12 mo 0 interest, and afterwards they told me the only plan they had was interest only for 12 mo. They lied saying I would be able to reduce my loan after 12 mo and get a tax credit which could be applied to the loan and it wasn't true. I've tried to contact them for the last 4 months and no one is calling me back. Two of my family members had the same experience who got solars around the same time. Ive been paying $200 a month just for interest on a 40k loan and my Aps bill which was over $160 last couple months. That's $360 total and my Aps bill last year for the same month with no solars was less then this at $250. This is insane. The only reason o signed up is because they lied to me saying I would be able to reduce my loan to about 26k from a credit that WILL be applied to the loan and that my solars would produce more to where I would have a monthly credit. Well so far none of that was true! Not even close to a 0 Aps bill. Soon after the interest only payment  expires I will be paying 3 times more then what I was paying my normal Aps bill, when they told me I will be Payjng about $125. That's the only reason anyone would sign up to save money, not triple their electric bill. Im filing lawsuit against them to get this resolved because here is no way to save money with this company.
Do yourself a favor DON'T go with this company. There are a lot of others out there that are much better and they keep their word. Remember this review is first my experience, but also two of my other family members who experienced the same problems. This is after a year of having the solars on, so don't pay attention to their new customers that left great reviews who were just tricked into singing up. Because I was one of them about a year ago, and at that time I would have left them a great review as well.

Incredibly high turnover in call center staff. Also, upper management is totally new.  May want to consider other options before signing on with these "fly by night" guys.  The total package is sketchy.  Check your options before meeting and definitely before signing on the dotted line.

Totally dissatisfied with the company and their service. Took almost a full year to get my system up and running--I was paying interest on the system for months before it was even functional. Finally it starts working in February 2017. The amount of energy savings I'm getting is less than $10/month. I was sold a system that was supposed to save an average of $130/month. They keep saying "give it a year." Doesn't make sense--how are 6 months of average $10/month savings going to ever average to $130/month? I think the system is defective, but the company refuses to send out a technician to even look at it. Unbelievably frustrating, and I'm losing thousands of dollars compared to what I was promised. Do NOT trust this company.

Great job on my installation.  System is working great.  Only complaint I had was how long the utility company took to turn on.  The team kept me updated during the process and answered the thousands of questions I had!

Very pleased with ERUS in getting my solar panels installed and make operational. The Rep assigned to my project, Kathy Gevasio was prompt in returning phone calls and assisted in getting all the paperwork done to take advantage of the numerous subsidies which make this solar so very affordable. Definitely recommend this company.

This is to let everyone know that Solar Panels don't save you money. We had them installed our bill went down about $30 dollars. This could also be from switching to LED bulbs throughout the house, having double pain windows installed and insulation installed. The panels cost us thousands of dollars and only having the bill decrease by only $30 dollars is not what we were told to expect. We were quoted that people in Arizona had electric bills as low as $5 after getting solar panels.  Now we wish we hadn't bought them.

Very dissatisfied customer. Buyers beware. We have had our system for nearly 2 years. Of the 2 years, there are 12 months where the system produced less than 1 KwH per day. Of the remaining months, the system is producing less than 1/3 the electricity that it is spec'd to produce. We have had tech's to the house multiple times, with no real change in results. At this point, I have purchased, yes purchased $2,600 worth of electricity that my system is spec'd to produce, but has not. ERUS will not return emails or answer phone calls. It is now time to escalate the situation as I spent a significant amount of money to install this system and help our environment. In the end, I lined the pockets of ERUS and Arcadia Solar, with me paying for almost every KwH consumed. We are ready to have the system removed and our money returned given the outcome and lack of response. Please beware if you are looking for solar.
