Thank You for the best service. Glad to have you guys doing the winterizing on our solar pool heater, especially on short notice  We'll check back in the late spring to make sure we're set up for the summer.

Had to sue Phelps Solar Specialists due to the unworkable system that they refused to fix, and to massive damage to my home.  Phelps Solar, when they are not lying and had to disclose their work, system and damage to the legal system THEN finally admitted the truth and gave me $8,500 to settle.  The case went thru superior court, is public record, and I have NO gag order stopping me for telling everyone and anyone the truth!  I have posted the check THEY paid ME to the site.... and anyone is welcome to contact me @ godblessvicki at gmail, if you want more info about this company, and their work, and what can and did go wrong.  The court record is public, so go to the superior court and put in Phelps Solar Specialists and you will get the case....Here is a copy of the case name / number:

In my opinion and my my experience they are not a "nice" local family, who treats you well and honorably.... they did everything wrong to my home and to me, and really behaved so poorly that I was FORCED to take them to court... who would want to go thru that hassle to fix an issue that you paid 6K for?  If I could go back, I would NEVER have allowed them put this horrible product on my roof in a way that it does not work as promised, or ever dealt with this company.  

LOOK AT THE ATTACHED SETTLEMENT CHECK.... AND NO GAG ORDER (as much as they tried) BECAUSE THEY DID HARM ME, MY HOME, AND MY FINANCES.

David is the owner, and service tech. I would expect more of an owner to satisfy his customers for return business and also a good review here.

So I had updated my review as I was promised a refund of the 190.00 the company had charged me to come out to continually fix the same problem of bubbles in the line and change filters. BUT after I updated it he took away the credit and is again charging me the 190.00. NOW to me it tells a lot about a company who reneges on a promise more so then the terrible customer service that I wrote about in the first place. To be paying 8000.00 for equipment in the first place to not have the company stand behind its product and installation, I would be looking elsewhere for a system. Customer service always trumps price for me. I would rather pay a bit more if I knew the company treats its customers well. We have South Face is our hole house solar company we call them to fix any problem they are out by the next day NO CHARGE!!!

Just had my pool solar panels installed. So far they are working great and already increased the pool temperature from 64 to 82 degrees in just 3 days.  Excited to be able to swim this weekend in a warm people the beginning of April.

Had rooftop solar installed for the pool and it really has doubled the swim season as was promised. Only issue I have had so far was a small leak. The Phelps team came out the next day and tightened what I think was just some rubber coupling hose and so it was very quickly fixed. Overall happy with this purchase. It's definitely the cheapest way to heat a pool and I do believe they are one of the more reputable companies to go with when it comes to rooftop solar.

It has been a bit over one year. Our Solar panel heating system has been flawless. Phelps installed panels on our roof and a new variable speed pump.  Our electric bill has reduced, we started warming up the pool early March of this year. It is now April 30. Pool is 90 deg. Now I am turning it down. It work perfectly. We could not be more happy. Warmer pool, lower electric bills.
I think after 1 year is a very good point. This system works. Dave Phelps is very communicative and just a fine business person.

I was very impressed with Phelps solar heating for my pool. Their work is uncompromising and professional. The installation process went smooth with no concerns. Even though I had many questions along the way, they always took the time to fully explain everything. I was even quite impressed that they also painted the white PVC to my house and even matched my roof colors. I have already recommended them to friends.

After an unpleasant experience with another local company, I gave Phelps Solar a call and they have exceeded my expectations! David and Jerry were quick to respond, explain the quality of their solar panels, and provided an extremely reasonable price. They came out to quote on a Friday and showed up to install at 9 am on Monday. With their competitors quoting 3 weeks lead time and almost 2x the price, this family owned company is a no brainer! So excited to finally be able to use my pool starting tomorrow!

Had a solar pool heating system and variable speed pump installed on April 16. David Phelps even made a return visit to our home to help us reconfigure the system to our liking. The process was so easy and the company so upfront with explanations and cost. We appreciate the integrity of this family run business. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for solar
